| 1 | A Review on Binderless Tungsten Carbide: Development and Application显示文摘WC-Co alloys have enjoyed great practical significance owing to their excellent properties during the past decades.Despite the advantages,however,recently there have been concerns about the challenges associated with the use of Co,i.e.price instability,toxicity and properties degeneration,which necessitates the fabrication of binderless tungsten carbide(BTC).On the other hand,BTC or BTC composites,none of them,to date has been commercialized and produced on an industrial scale,but only used to a limited extent for specialized applications,such as mechanical seals undergoing high burthen as well as high temperature electrical contacts.There are two challenges in developing BTC:fully densifying the sintered body together with achieving a high toughness.Thus,this review applies towards comprehensively summarize the current knowledge of sintering behavior,microstructure,and mechanical properties of BTC,highlighting the densification improving strategies as well as toughening methods,so as to provide reference for those who would like to enhance the performance of BTC with better reliability advancing them to further wide applications and prepare the material in a way that is environment friendly,harmless to human health and low in production cost.This paper shows that the fabrication of highly dense and high-performance BTC is economically and technically feasible.The properties of BTC can be tailored by judiciously selecting the chemical composition coupled with taking into careful account the effects of processing techniques and parameters. | Jialin Sun Jun Zhao Zhifu Huang Ke Yan Xuehui Shen Jiandong Xing Yimin Gao Yongxin Jian Hejie Yang Bo Li | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,1: | 8 |
| 2 | Rett syndrome-causing mutations compromise MeCP2- mediated liquid—liquid phase separation of chromatin显示文摘Rett syndrome(RTT),a severe postnatal neurodevelopmental disorder,is caused by mutations in the X-linked gene encoding methyl-CpG-binding protein 2(MeCP2).MeCP2 is a chromatin organizer regulating gene expression.RTT-causing mutations have been shown to affect this function.However,the mechanism by which MeCP2 organizes chromatin is unclear.In this study,we found that MeCP2 can induce compaction and liquid-liquid phase separation of nudeosomal arrays in vitro,and DNA methylation further enhances formation of chromatin condensates by MeCP2.Interestingly,RTT-causing mutations compromise MeCP2-mediated chromatin phase separation,while benign variants have little effect on this process.Moreover,MeCP2 competes with linker histone H1 to form mutually exclusive chromatin condensates in vitro and distinct heterochromatin foci in vivo.RTT-causing mutations reduce or even abolish the ability of MeCP2 to compete with histone H1 and to form chromatin condensates.Together,our results identify a novel mechanism by which phase separation underlies MeCP2-mediated heterochromatin formation and reveal the potential link between this process and the pathology of RTT. | Liang Wang Mingli Hu Mei-Qing Zuo Jicheng Zhao Di Wu Li Huang Yongxin Wen Yunfan Li Ping Chen Xinhua Bao Meng-Qiu Dong Guohong Li Pilong Li | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,5: | 3 |

| 8 | Multidimensional Co_(3)O_(4)/NiO heterojunctions with richboundaries incorporated into reduced graphene oxide network for expanding the range of lithiophilic host显示文摘The commercial application of lithium(Li)metal anode is hindered by the growth of Li dendrites.Here,we develop a multidimensional composite struc-ture composed of Co3O4/NiO heterojunction particles and reduced graphene oxide(rGO)nanosheets,that allows Li to nucleate and deposit selectively in one direction.Among,two transition metal oxides(TMOs)without lit-hiophilicity are transformed into lithiophilic species due to the rich phase boundaries and high Li adsorption energies on interfaces,which can provide uniform active sites and reduce nucleation overpotential for Li deposition.Meanwhile,the rGO substrate with high electrical conductivity and large spe-cific surface area can form a conductive network between TMOs and alleviate volume expansion caused by Li deposition.Benefitting from the synergistic effect of the heterojunctions and carbon substrate,the Co_(3)O_(4)/NiO-rGO regu-lates the local current density and enables the dendrite-free Li plating/stripping behavior.At a current density of 1 mA cm^(-2),the Li metal anode with the Co_(3)O_(4)/NiO-rGO host exhibits remarkable electrochemical performance,consistently maintaining high Coulombic efficiency(>93.8%)over 1000 cycles.Additionally,the full cells matched with LiFePO_(4)cathode also display high rate capability of 130 mAh g^(-1)at 1 C and stable cycling life over 500 cycles. | Qianqian Meng Minrong Guan Yongxin Huang Li Li Feng Wu Renjie Chen | 2022 | InfoMat2022,4,8: | 1 |
| 9 | Response of ammonia-oxidizing archaea to heavy metal contamination in freshwater sediment显示文摘It has been well-documented that the distribution of ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(AOB) and archaea(AOA) in soils can be affected by heavy metal contamination, whereas information about the impact of heavy metal on these ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms in freshwater sediment is still lacking. The present study explored the change of sediment ammonia-oxidizing microorganisms in a freshwater reservoir after being accidentally contaminated by industrial discharge containing high levels of metals. Bacterial amoA gene was found to be below the quantitative PCR detection and was not successfully amplified by conventional PCR. The number of archaeal amoA gene in reservoir sediments were 9.62 × 10~2–1.35 × 10~7 copies per gram dry sediment. AOA abundance continuously decreased, and AOA richness, diversity and community structure also considerably varied with time. Therefore, heavy metal pollution could have a profound impact on freshwater sediment AOA community. | 10 | Efficient elimination and detection of phenolic compounds in juice using laccase mimicking nanozymes显示文摘Residual phenols in the juice can cause turbidity and affect its sensory quality.Laccase is used to remove phenolic compounds from fruit juice s.In order to overcome the shortcomings of natural laccase instability and high cost,in this work,we prepared a laccase mimic enzyme based on copper ion and adenosine monophosphate(AMP-Cu nanozymes).At the same mass concentration(1 mg·ml^(-1)), the catalytic activity of the nanozyme is about 15 times that of laccase.The AMP-Cu nanozymes had a higher V_(max) and a lower Km than laccase.The laccase mimic enzyme had a good stability under the condition of 30-90 ℃ and pH> 6.It also maintained high catalytic activity at high salt concentrations and 9 days storage time.Furthermore,the AMP-Cu nanozyme s maintained an initial catalytic activity of about 80% after six consecutive cycles of reaction.The linear range of detection of phenolic compounds by AMP-Cu nanozymes was 0.1-100 μmol·L^(-1) with a detection limit of 0.033 μmol·L^(-1).The phenol removal rate of AMP-Cu nanozymes was much higher than that of laccase under different reaction times.When the reaction was performed for 5 h,the phenol removal rate of the fruit juice by AMP-Cu nanozymes was about 65%.The efficient removal of phenolic compounds from different juices by AMP-Cu nanozymes indicate s that they have good application prospect in the food juice industry. | Hui Huang Lulu Lei Juan Bai Ling Zhang Donghui Song Jingqi Zhao Jiali Li Yongxin Li | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1: | 1 |

| 13 | 肺癌患者外周血血小板活化标志物水平及其临床意义(英文)显示文摘Objective: To investigate the relationship between the activation markers of platelets and the lung cancer. Meth- ods: Based on international stages of lung cancer in 1997, lung cancer patients of 120 cases diagnosed by pathology as well as with operation indication were selected as the experimental group. During the process of experiment, 60 cases concluded as healthy in the physical examination were chosen as control group. The activation markers of platelets were detected by FCM method. The experimental result would be processed by SPSS 11.5. Results: The level of activation markers of platelets in peripheral blood of lung cancer patients was significantly higher than those healthy people (P < 0.01). The level of activation markers of platelets in peripheral blood of lung cancer patients on the seventh postoperative day was significantly lower than that before operation and on the first postoperative day (P < 0.01). The level of activation markers of platelets in peripheral blood of lung cancer patients was closely related to the size of the primary tumor, lymph node status and stages, but not to the grade of cell differentiation, type of tumor, age, sex of the patients (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Elevation of the level of activation markers of platelets in peripheral blood exists in lung cancer patients and the levels of activation marker of platelets plays an important role in tumor growth and lymphatic metastasis. | 15 | Paleomagnetism of the Late Cretaceous volcanic rocks of the Shimaoshan Group in Yongtai County, Fujian Province显示文摘It has been debated whether there was southward movement of the South China Block (SCB) during the Cretaceous. In this study, a paleomagnetic investigation was carried out on the Late Cretaceous volcanic rocks (~88 Ma) of the Shimaoshan Group in Yongtai County, Fujian Province. Rock magnetic experiments showed that magnetite in pseudo-single-domain and multi-domain grain and hematite were predominant magnetic phases. Stepwise thermal demagnetization successfully isolated characteristic directional components at high-temperature interval (>500°C) from 383 specimens in 19 sites, which yielded a paleomagnetic pole for the studied section at 83.1°N, 152.6°E (N=19, A 95=3.9°), and the scatter S B=9.0. The Fisher distribution of virtual geomagnetic poles (VGPs) and the consistence of S B with the expected value at the 95% confidence level indicate that the yielded paleomagnetic pole is free of paleomagnetic secular variation influence. | 17 | Ultrasensitive detection of IgE levels based on magnetic nanocapturer linked immunosensor assay for early diagnosis of cancer显示文摘Rapid and accurate detection of immunoglobulin E(Ig E) in serum and reduction of serum dosage are of great significance for clinical detection. Herein, we described a rapid magnetic separation of Ig E from patient serum based on Fe3 O4@Si O2-NTA@026 sdab as the capture probe and multiple horseradish peroxidase(HRP)-labeled antibodies linked gold nanoparticles(Au NPs) as chemiluminescence(CL) signal amplifier for ultrasensitive detection of total Ig E. Results showed that the limit of detection of our immunosensor system in serum samples was 0.03 k U/L, which is lowest in comparison with current methods, and far lower than that of Immuno CAP for Ig E detection(0.1 k U/L). Furthermore, our immunosensor possessed satisfied repeatability and accuracy, as well as good stability. In comparison with the Immuno CAP for the quantitative detection of Ig E, highly consistent results were achieved in 20 serum samples. Specially, this method was also successfully utilized for assessing the Ig E traces in breast cancer patients,which provides a new idea for the diagnosis of early cancer.
