| 1 | Pancreatic duct stones in patients with chronic pancreatitis:surgical outcomes显示文摘BACKGROUND: Pancreatic duct stone (PDS) is a common complication of chronic pancreatitis. Surgery is a common therapeutic option for PDS. In this study we assessed the surgical procedures for PDS in patients with chronic pancreatitis at our hospital. METHOD: Between January 2004 and September 2009, medical records from 35 patients diagnosed with PDS associated with chronic pancreatitis were retrospectively reviewed and the patients were followed up for up to 67 months. RESULTS: The 35 patients underwent ultrasonography, computed tomography, or both, with an overall accuracy rate of 85.7%. Of these patients, 31 underwent the modified Puestow procedure, 2 underwent the Whipple procedure, 1 underwent simple stone removal by duct incision, and 1 underwent pancreatic abscess drainage. Of the 35 patients, 28 were followed up for 4-67 months. There was no postoperative death before discharge or during follow-up. After the modified Puestow procedure, abdominal pain was reduced in patients with complete or incomplete stone clearance (P>0.05). Steatorrhea and diabetes mellitus developed in several patients during a long-term follow-up. CONCLUSIONS: Surgery, especially the modified Puestow procedure, is effective and safe for patients with PDS associated with chronic pancreatitis. | 2 | A 12-year cohort study on the efficacy of plasmaderived hepatitis B vaccine in rural newborns显示文摘AIM To understand the anti-HBs persistenceand the long-term preventive efficacy in ruralnewborns after vaccination with plasma-derivedhepatitis B vaccine.METHODS In the time of expanded program onimmunization(EPI),the newborns werevaccinated with 10μg×3 doses of hepatitis Bvaccine and 762 newborns who were HBsAgnegative after primary immunization wereselected for cohort observation from 1986 to1998.Their serum samples were detectedqualitatively and quantitatively for hepatitis Binfecting markers,including HBsAg,anti-HBsand anti-HBc by SPRIA Kits.The annual HBsAgpositive conversion rate was counted by life-table method.RESULTS①The anti-HBs positive rate was94.44% for the babies born to HBsAg negativemothers and 84.21% for those born to HBsAgpositive mothers in the 1st year afterimmunization,and dropped to 51.31% and52.50% in the 12th year respectively.GMT valuewas dropped from 31.62 to 3.13 and 23.99 to 3.65in the 2nd to the 12th year respectively.Therewas a marked drop in GMT at the 3rd to the 5thyear,and in anti-HBs positive rate at the 9th tothe 10th year.②In the period of 12 yearsobservation,the person-year HBsAg positive conversion rates were 0.12%(5/4150.0)innewborns born to HBsAg negative mothers and0.20%(1/508.0)in those born to HBsAgpositive mothers,and none of the HBsAgpositive converted children became HBsAgchronic carriers.Compared with the baselinebefore immunization,the protective rates were97.19% and 95.32% respectively.CONCLUSION The protective efficacy ofplasma-derived hepatitis B vaccine persisted atleast 12 years,and a booster dose seems notnecessary within at least 12 years after theprimary three-doses immunization to newbornsborn to HBsAg negative mothers. | Hong Bin Liu Zong Da Meng Jing Chen Ma Chang Quan Han Ying Lin Zhang Zhan Chun Xing Yu Wei Zhang Yu Zhong Liu Hui Lin Cao | 2000 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2000，6，3： | 11 |
| 3 | Expression of Beclin1 in non small cell lung cancer and its clinical significance显示文摘Objective:To investigate the expression of autophagy related gene;Beclin1 in human non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)tissues.Methods:Protein expression of Beclin1 was determined by immunofluorescence staining and Western Blot,mRNA expression was analyzed by RT-PCR.Results:Immunofluorescence staining revealed that the level of Beclin1 expression in lung cancer was significantly lower than that in adjacent noncancerous tissues and normal tissues(expression rate 8.3%,P=0.000).The Beclin1 mRNA expression in lung cancer,adjacent noncancerous tissues and normal tissues was 1.372(±0.475)1.721(±0.521)and 1.553(±0.554)when F = 15.0,P < 0.01.Beclin1 protein expression in lung cancer,adjacent noncancerous tissues and normal tissues was 3.453(±0.852)5.423(±1.351)and 6.878(±0.997)F = 11.2,P < 0.01.Conclusion:The protein and mRNA expression of Beclin1 in lung cancer was much lower than those in and around cancer tissues and normal tissues,those differences having statistical significance.However in adjacent noncancerous tissues and normal tissues,the expression showed no difference. | Quan Liu Jianjun Wang Yongcheng Pan Lifeng Meng Xi Zhan | 2008 | Journal of Nanjing Medical University2008，22，2： | 6 |
| 4 | Effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ80M magnesium alloy fabricated by wire arc additive manufacturing显示文摘To maximize the benefits of wire arc additive manufacturing(WAAM)processes,the effect of post-deposition heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of WAAM AZ80M magnesium(Mg)alloy was investigated.Three different heat treatment procedures(T4,T5 and T6)were performed.According to the results,after T4 heat treatment,the microsegregation of alloying elements was improved with the eutectic structure dissolved.Samples after T5 heat treatment inherited the net-like distribution of secondary phases similar to the as-deposited sample,where the eutectic structure covering the interdendritic regions and theβ-phase precipitated around the eutectic structure.After T6 heat treatment,the tinyβ-phases re-precipitated from the matrix and distributed in inner and outer of the grains.The hardness distribution of the samples went through T4 and T6 heat treatment was more uniform in comparison to that of T5 heat treated samples.The tensile test showed that the T6 heat treatment improved the strength and ductility,and the anisotropy between horizontal and vertical can be eliminated.Moreover,T4 treated samples exhibited highest ductility. | Yangyang Guo Gaofeng Quan Mert Celikin Lingbao Ren Yuhang Zhan Lingling Fan Houhong Pan | 2022 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022，10，7： | 5 |
| 5 | Risk factors for postoperative pancreatic fistula in patients with insulinomas:analysis of 292 consecutive cases显示文摘BACKGROUND:Pancreatic fistula (PF) remains the most challenging complication in pancreatic surgery,yet few published studies have focused on the risk factors for postoperative PF in patients undergoing surgery for insulinomas.METHODS:From January 1990 to February 2010,a total of 292 patients with insulinomas underwent surgery at Peking Union Medical College Hospital.Demographic data,intraoperative procedures,and postoperative data were collected.Particular attention was paid to variables associated with PF as defined by the International Study Group of Pancreatic Fistula (ISGPF).Univariate and multivariate analyses were used to identify possible risk factors for PF.RESULTS:PF was found in 132 (45.2%) patients,of whom 90 were classified into ISGPF grade A,33 grade B,and 9 grade C.Multivariate analysis showed that male patients (OR=2.56;P=0.007) and operative time >180minutes (OR=3.756;P<0.0001) were independent risk factors for clinical PF.Pancreatic resection with stapler was a protective factor for both total PF (OR=0.022;P=0.010) and clinical PF (OR=0.097;P=0.007).CONCLUSIONS:Male gender and operative time >180minutes were independent risk factors for clinical PF,while pancreatic resection with a stapler was a protective factor.Whether body mass index (BMI) and other variables during operation are risk factors of PF needs further study. | Zhao, Yu-Pei Zhan, Han-Xiang Cong, Lin Zhang, Tai-Ping Liao, Quan Dai, Meng-Hua Cai, Li-Xing Zhu, Yu | 2012 | Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International2012，11，1： | 3 |

| 8 | Eukaryotic expression of outer membrane protein Gpd from Treponema pallidum and preliminary studies on its immune response in rabbits显示文摘The Gpd gene was amplified from the genomic DNA of Treponema pallidum and cloned into the appropriate site of pcDNA3.1(+) vector. The expression of pcDNA3.1(+)-Gpd in HeLa cells was tested with Western blotting and technology of immunocytochemistry. New Zealand rabbits were immunized with the eukaryotic expression recombinant pcDNA3.1(+)-Gpd. A fusion protein of Gpd with 4.1 kDa has been effectively expressed in HeLa cells, which were detected by Western blotting and the immunocytochemistry techniques. The New Zealand rabbits were able to elicit the specific antibody after immunization with the nucleic acid vaccine. The antibody titer could reach as high as 1∶1024 after 2 weeks of the third injection; and the splenocytes proliferated evidently due to the Gpd protein stimulation. Both the antibody titer and the splenocytes proliferation were higher substantially than those of controls (P<0.01). To fast screen HER candidates, most studies focus on d-band center(ε)associated with the Gibbs energy of H* adsorption(ΔG). Unfortunately, εrule is not applicable to Pt single atoms on transition metal disulfides(Pt_(1)/TMDs) because of the additional contributions from p states of S atom. Here, we propose a new HER descriptor — d-band frontier(d) by defining the weight of d-band in the energy range of [-1.0 eV, 1.0 eV] of Pt single atoms. This dis exactly correlated with the ΔGof Pt_(1)/TMDs, and thus perfectly describes the structure–activity relationship, as validated by systematical experimental evidences.
