1Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. 2New yellow Ba_(0.93)Eu_(0.07)Al_(2)O_(4) phosphor for warm-white light-emitting diodes through single-emitting-center conversion显示文摘Phosphor-converted white light-emitting diodes for indoor illumination need to be warm-white(i.e.,correlated color temperature,4000 K)with good color rendition(i.e.,color rendering index.80).However,no single-phosphor,single-emitting-center-converted white light-emitting diodes can simultaneously satisfy the color temperature and rendition requirements due to the lack of sufficient red spectral component in the phosphors’emission spectrum.Here,we report a new yellow Ba_(0.93)Eu_(0.07)Al_(2)O_(4) phosphor that has a new orthorhombic lattice structure and exhibits a broad yellow photoluminescence band with sufficient red spectral component.Warm-white emissions with correlated color temperature,4000 K and color rendering index.80 were readily achieved when combining the Ba_(0.93)Eu_(0.07)Al_(2)O_(4) phosphor with a blue light-emitting diode(440–470 nm).This study demonstrates that warm-white light-emitting diodes with high color rendition(i.e.,color rendering index.80)can be achieved based on single-phosphor,single-emitting-center conversion.Xufan Li John D Budai Feng Liu Jane Y Howe Jiahua Zhang Xiao-Jun Wang Zhanjun Gu Chengjun Sun Richard S Meltzer Zhengwei Pan 2013Light(Science & Applications)2013,2,1:11
3Analysis of a reduced-ML algorithm in BLAST显示文摘The performance of ML algorithm is much better than other algorithms in the MIMO wireless communication system. However, it is based on the expense of an increase in the complexity. A reduced maximum likelihood (RML) algorithm is proposed in this paper, which derives from the combination of the ML and ZF algorithms. 4Senegenin promotes in vitro proliferation of human neural progenitor cells显示文摘Senegenin,an effective component of Polygala tenuifolia root extract,promotes proliferation and differentiation of neural progenitor cells in the hippocampus.However,the effects of senegenin on mesencephalon-derived neural progenitor cells remain poorly understood.Cells from a ventral mesencephalon neural progenitor cell line(ReNcell VM) were utilized as models for pharmaceutical screening.The effects of various senegenin concentrations on cell proliferation were analyzed,demonstrating that high senegenin concentrations(5,10,50,and 100 μmo/L),particularly 50 μmol/L,significantly promoted proliferation of ReNcell VM cells.In the mitogen-activated protein kinase signal transduction pathway,senegenin significantly increased phosphorylation levels of extracellular signal-regulated kinases.Moreover,cell proliferation was suppressed by extracellular signal-regulated kinase inhibitors.Results suggested that senegenin contributed to in vitro proliferation of human neural progenitor cells by upregulating phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase.Shi, Fang Liang, Zhigang Guo, Zixuan Li, Ran Yu, Fen Zhang, Zhanjun Wang, Xuan Wang, Xiaomin 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,3:5
5Numerical investigation on synthetic jet flow control inside an S-inlet duct显示文摘The high degree of centerline curvature and cross-stream pressure gradient in S-inlet ducts gives rise to boundary layer separation and secondary flows,which result in poor pressure recovery and non-uniform flow in the outlet interface with the engine.The flowfield in ducts is three-dimensional due to the existence of secondary flow,so ordinary two-dimensional actuations have poor effect on reforming the flow.Synthetic jet actuations extended in different spanwise positions were employed to manipulate the flow,and compared with the two-dimensional actuation.The interaction mechanics between flow separation and secondary flow was studied at first.It was found that the secondary flow enhanced or weakened flow separation depending on the spanwise position of synthetic jet actuators.Moreover,the flow separation enhanced the secondary flow,thus causing lower pressure recovery and flow distortion in the duct outlet.The actuators located at different spanwise positions will weaken the secondary flows by improving the flow separation to get energetic and uniform main flow.CHEN ZhanJun WANG JinJun 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,9:5
6Natural gas consumption forecasting model based on coal-to-gas project in China显示文摘Natural gas is widely used because it is environmentally friendly,particularly in reducing carbon emission and improving the Air Quality Index(AQI)around densely populated cities.China has initiated a coal-to-gas project(CGP)to improve the air quality in northern China.As a subcompany of China National Petroleum Corporation,PetroChina Natural Gas Marketing North Company has been focusing on natural gas resource allocation while considering numerous issues such as ensuring the bottom line of livelihood requirements in winter and the performance of economic indicators for an entire calendar year in the northern part of China.Therefore,the accurate prediction of natural gas consumption is important to PetroChina Natural Gas Marketing North Company.It has become a challenge to forecast natural gas consumption because the natural gas market has changed considerably because of the CGP.Natural gas consumption cannot be forecasted using conventional models.This study analyzes the characteristics of the CGP based on the data obtained from rural individual users and company users.Based on the analysis,the gas consumption in winter is predicted using two different forecasting approaches.The methods presented in this paper provide a basis for formulating effective measures for natural gas scheduling in the northern part of China.Zhiqiang Wang Yichen Li Zhanjun Feng Kai Wen 2019Global Energy Interconnection2019,2,5:4
7Multilevel Feature Moving Average Ratio Method for Fault Diagnosis of the Microgrid Inverter Switch显示文摘Multilevel feature moving average ratio method is proposed to realize an open-switch fault diagnosis for any switch of the microgrid inverter. The main steps of the proposed method include multilevel signal decomposition, coefficient reconstruction, absolute average ratio process and artificial neural network(ANN) classification. Specifically, multilevel signal decomposition is realized by using the means of multi resolution analysis to obtain the different frequency band coefficients of the three-phase current signal. The related coefficient reconstruction is executed to achieve signals decomposition in different levels. Furthermore,according to the obtained data, the absolute average ratio process is used to extract absolute moving average ratio of signal decomposition in different levels for the three-phase current.Finally, to intelligently classify the inverter switch fault and realize the adaptive ability, the ANN technology is applied.Compared to conventional fault diagnosis methods, the proposed method can accurately detect and locate the open-switch fault for any location of the microgrid inverter. Additionally, it need not set related threshold of algorithm and does not require normalization process, which is relatively easy to implement. 10Baicalin and jasminoidin effects on gene expression and compatibility in the hippocampus following focal cerebral ischemia显示文摘The compound traditional Chinese medicine Qingkailing,which is an ingredient used to treat cerebral ischemia,has been limited to studies concerning single genes or single pathways.Interactions and pharmacological mechanisms of the compound ingredients(baicalin and jasminoidin) remain poorly understood.In the present study,baicalin and jasminoidin,as well as the combination,were used to separately treat mouse models of cerebral ischemia.cDNA microarray analyses of 374 cerebral ischemia-related genes were utilized to determine changes in gene-expression profiles.Arraytrack 3.40 and Ingenuity Pathway Analysis(IPA) databases were utilized to analyze changes in gene molecular functions and network path functions.Baicalin or jasminoidin alone effectively reduced infarct area,and the combination resulted in significantly better outcomes.IPA showed inhibited cell apoptosis in the baicalin group and Ca2+ channel regulation in the jasminoidin group.The combination of baicalin and jasminoidin activated HTR3A and F5 expression,regulated Ca2+ channels,activated kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer inhibitor IKBKG in B cells to control IkB kinase/nuclear factor-kB cascade,suppressed activation of inflammatory cytokine interleukin-6 receptors and activated transduction of guanine-nucleotide-binding protein(G protein) signal.Results suggested that the combination of baicalin and jasminoidin resulted in similar molecular mechanisms to baicalin and jasminoidin alone.However,novel pharmacological actions of compatibility were detected,demonstrating significant protection against cerebral ischemia.Guo, Lin Meng, Fanyun Zhang, Guodong Zhao, Jing Zhang, Zhanjun Zhou, Caixiu Wang, Zhong 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,3:2
11Impact of copy number of distinct SV40PolyA segments on expression of a GFP reporter gene显示文摘The presence of Alu repeats downregulates the expression of the green fluorescent protein(GFP) gene.We found that SV40PolyA(PolyA,240 bp),in either orientation,eliminated the inhibition of GFP gene expression induced by Alu repeats when it was placed between the GFP gene and the Alu repeats.In this study,4 different segments(each 60 bp) were amplified from antisense PolyA(PolyAas) by PCR,and inserted upstream of Alu14 in pAlu14 plasmid(14 Alu repeats inserted downstream of the GFP gene in vector pEGFP-C1 in a head-tail tandem manner).Segments 1F1R(the first 60 bp segment at the 5' end of PolyAas) and 4F4R(the fourth 60 bp segment from the 5' end of PolyAas) did not activate GFP gene expression,whereas 2F2R and 3F3R(the middle two segments) did(as detected by Northern blot analysis and fluorescent microscopy).Different copy numbers of 2F2R and 3F3R segments,in a head and tail tandem manner,were inserted downstream of the GFP gene in pAlu14.p2F2R*4-Alu28,p3F3R*4-Alu18 and p3F3R*4-Alu28 were used as length controls to verify that the decrease in the expression of GFP was not due to the increased length of the inserted segment in the expression vectors.We found that 2 and 4 copies of 2F2R or 3F3R activated the GFP gene more strongly than one copy of them.However,more than 8 copies of 2F2R or 3F3R reduced the activation of the GFP gene.We concluded that SV40PolyAas contained at least two gene-activating elements(2F2R and 3F3R) and 2-4 copies of 2F2R or 3F3R were optimal for the expression of the GFP gene.YIN Kang,WANG XiuFang,MA Huan,XIE Ying,FENG JingJing,YANG QinQing & Lü ZhanJun Hebei Key Lab of Laboratory Animal,Department of Genetics,Hebei Medical University,Shijiazhuang 050017,China 2010Science China(Life Sciences)2010,53,5:2

14Bird nest-like zinc oxide nanostructures for sensitive electrochemical glucose biosensor显示文摘In this research,a novel bird nest-like zinc oxide(BN-ZnO)nanostructures were prepared by a simple solvothermal method.A sensitive electrochemical glucose biosensor was for the first time developed based on the immobilization of glucose oxidase(GOx)on nanostructured BN-ZnO modified electrode.The BN-ZnO nanostructure and the resultant biosensor were characterized by scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction spectroscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.BN-ZnO nanostructures have large specific surface area and can load large amounts of GOx molecules.Meanwhile,BN-ZnO provides an excellent microenvironment to retain the native bioactivity of enzymes and to promote direct electron transfer between GOx and electrode surface.The proposed biosensor shows a wide linear range of 0.005–1.6 mmol/L,high sensitivity of15.6 mA L mol^(-1)cm^(-2)with a low detection limit of 0.004 mmol/L.The resulting biosensor also shows excellent selectivity,acceptable stability and reproducibility,and can be successfully applied in the detection of glucose in human serum samples at-0.37 V.Feng Shi Jinming Xu Zhongfang Hu Chuanli Ren Yadong Xue Yongcai Zhang Juan Li Chengyin Wang Zhanjun Yang 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,10:1

18Evaluation of the chemical profile from four germplasms sources of Pruni Semen using UHPLC-LTQ-Orbitrap-MS and multivariate analyses显示文摘Pruni Semen,the seed of several unique Prunus plants,is a traditional purgative herbal material.To determine the authentic sources of Pruni Semen,46 samples from four species were collected and analyzed.Ten compounds including multiflorin A(Mul A),a notable purative compound,were isolated and identified by chemical separation and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.Seventy-six communal components were identified by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography with linear ion trap-quadrupole Orbitrap mass spectrometry,and acetyl flavonoid glycosides were recognized as characteristic constituents.The flavonoids were distributed in the seed coat and cyanogenic glycosides in the kernel.Based on this,methods for identifying Pruni Semen from different sources were established using chemical fingerprinting,quantitative analysis of the eight principal compounds,hierarchical cluster analysis,principal component analysis,and orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis.The results showed that the samples were divided into two categories:one is the small seeds from Prunus humilis(Ph)and Prunus japonica(Pj),and the other is the big seeds from Prunus pedunculata(Pp)and Prunus triloba(Pt).The average content of Mul A was 3.02,6.93,0.40,and 0.29 mg/g,while the average content of amygdalin was 18.5,17.7,31.5,and 30.9 mg/g in Ph,Pj,Pp,and Pt,respectively.All the above information suggests that small seeds might be superior sources of Pruni Semen.This is the first comprehensive report on the identification of chemical components in Pruni Semen from different species.Zihan Zhao Yue Liu Yushi Zhang Zeyu Geng Rina Su Lipeng Zhou Chao Han Zhanjun Wang Shuangcheng Ma Weidong Li 2022Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2022,12,5:1

20All-inorganic perovskite nanocrystal materials: new generation of scintillators for high quality X-ray imaging显示文摘Scintillating materials, which can convert high energy X-ray radiation into visible luminescence [1], are crucial parts of Xray imaging technology. Since the discovery of X-ray in 1895, scintillating materials have witnessed wild applications in various fields, including security inspection, space exploration, nondestructive detection, and medical diagnostics [2,3]- Conventional scintillators are generally large inorganic crystals and can only be grown at high temperature, which significantly increases the manufacturing difficulty and cost. The luminescence of current crystal scintillators is usually limited by lowefficiency or afterglow effects, and is difficult to be tuned cross the visible spectrum.
