3Synergistic instability of coal pillar and roof system and filling method based on plate model显示文摘The security challenges from room and pillar gobs include land subsidence, spontaneous combustion of coal pillars and mine flood caused by gob water. To explore the instability mechanism of room and pillar gob, we established a mechanical model of elastic plate on elastic foundation in which pillars and hard roofs were considered as continuous Winkler foundations and elastic plates, respectively. The synergetic instability of pillar and roof system was analyzed based on plate bending theory and catastrophe theory. In addition, mechanical conditions and math criterion of roof failure and overall instability of coal pillar and roof system were given. Through analyzing both advantages and disadvantages of some technologies such as induced caving, filling, gob sealing and isolation, we presented a new filling method named box-filling, in view of box foundation theory, to control the disasters of ground collapse, water inrush and mine fire. In a gob's treatment project in Ordos, safety assessment and filling design of a room and pillar gob have been done by the mechanical model. The results show that the gob will collapse when the pillars' average yield band is wider than 0.93 m, and box-filling can control land collapse, mine flood and mine fire economically and efficiently. 4Fault zone structures of northern and southern portions of the main central fault generated by the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake using fault zone trapped waves显示文摘The rupture process of the May 12,2008 MS8.0 Wenchuan earthquake was very complex. To study the rupture zones generated by this earthquake,four dense temporary seismic arrays across the two surface breaking traces of the main-shock were deployed in July and recorded a great amount of aftershocks. This paper focuses on the data interpretation of two arrays across the central main fault,the northern array line 1 and southern array line 3. The fault zone trapped waves recorded by the two arrays were used to study the structure of the central main fault and the difference between the northern and southern portions. The results show that the widths of the rupture zone are about 170?200 m and 200?230 m for northern and southern portions respectively. And the corresponding dip angles are 80° and 70°. The seismic velocity inside the fracture zone is about one half of the host rock. By comparison,the northern portion of the rupture zone is slightly narrower and steeper than the southern portion. Besides these differences,one more interesting and important difference is the positions of the rupture zone with respect to surface breaking traces. At the northern portion,the rupture zone is centered at the surface breaking trace,while at the southern portion it is not but is shifted to the northwest. This difference reflects the difference of rupture behaviors between two portions of the central main fault. The width of the rupture zone is smaller than that of M8.1 Kunlun earthquake though these two earthquakes have almost the same magnitudes. 5Tribocorrosion behavior in artificial seawater and anti-microbiologically influenced corrosion properties of TiSiN-Cu coating on F690 steel显示文摘The TiSiN-Cu nanocomposite coating was deposited on F690 steel substrate by arc ion plating. The structure and composition, tribocorrosion behavior and anti-microbiologically influenced corrosion(MIC)properties of TiSiN-Cu coating were investigated. The results show that the TiSiN-Cu coating has unique nanocomposite structures. The results of tribocorrosion show that the potential and current change of F690 steel and TiSiN-Cu coatings tend to be opposite. The reason is that the F690 steel is non-passivated metal and the TiSiN-Cu coating has passivation phenomenon. The TiSiN-Cu coating possesses excellent tribocorrosion resistance. 6Fluorination vs. chlorination: a case study on high performance organic photovoltaic materials显示文摘Halogenation is a very efficient chemical modification method to tune the molecular energy levels, absorption spectra and molecular packing of organic semiconductors. Recently, in the field of organic solar cells(OSCs), both fluorine-and chlorinesubstituted photovoltaic materials, including donors and acceptors, demonstrated their great potentials in achieving high power conversion efficiencies(PCEs), raising a question that how to make a decision between fluorination and chlorination when designing materials. Herein, we systemically studied the impact of fluorination and chlorination on the properties of resulting donors(PBDB-T-2 F and PBDB-T-2 Cl) and acceptors(IT-4 F and IT-4 Cl). The results suggest that all the OSCs based on different donor and acceptor combinations can deliver good PCEs around 13%–14%. Chlorination is more effective than fluorination in downshifting the molecular energy levels and broadening the absorption spectra. The influence of chlorination and fluorination on the crystallinity of the resulting materials is dependent on their introduction positions. 7Defined tumor antigen-specific T cells potentiate personalized TCR-T cell therapy and prediction of immunotherapy response显示文摘Personalized immunotherapy targeting tumor-specific antigens(TSAs)could generate efficient and safe antitumor immune response without damaging normal tissues.Although neoantigen vaccines have shown therapeutic effect in clinic trials,precise prediction of neoantigens from tumor mutations is still challenging.The host antitumor immune response selects and activates T cells recognizing tumor antigens.Hence,T cells engineered with T-cell receptors(TCRs)from these naturally occurring tumor antigen-specific T(Tas)cells in a patient will target personal TSAs in his/her tumor.To establish such a personalized TCR-T cell therapy,we comprehensively characterized T cells in tumor and its adjacent tissues by single-cell mRNA sequencing(scRNA-seq),TCR sequencing(TCR-seq)and in vitro neoantigen stimulation.Compared to bystander T cells circulating among tissues,Tas cells were characterized by tumor enrichment,tumor-specific clonal expansion and neoantigen specificity.We found that CXCL13 is a unique marker for both CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)Tas cells.Importantly,TCR-T cells expressing TCRs from Tas cells showed significant therapeutic effects on autologous patient-derived xenograft(PDX)tumors.Intratumoral Tas cell levels measured by CXCL13 expression precisely predicted the response to immune checkpoint blockade,indicating a critical role of Tas cells in the antitumor immunity.We further identified CD200 and ENTPD1 as surface markers for CD4^(^(+))and CD8^(^(+))Tas cells respectively,which enabled the isolation of Tas cells from tumor by Fluorescence Activating Cell Sorter(FACS)sorting.Overall,our results suggest that TCR-T cells engineered with Tas TCRs are a promising agent for personalized immunotherapy,and intratumoral Tas cell levels determine the response to immunotherapy.Jingjing He Xinxin Xiong Han Yang Dandan Li Xuefei Liu Shuo Li Shuangye Liao Siyu Chen Xizhi Wen Kuai Yu Lingyi Fu Xingjun Dong Kaiyu Zhu Xiaojun Xia Tiebang Kang Chaochao Bian Xiang Li Haiping Liu Peirong Ding Xiaoshi Zhang Zhenjiang Liu Wende Li Zhixiang Zuo Penghui Zhou 2022Cell Research2022,32,6:10
8Nanoparticle-immersed paper imprinting mass spectrometry imaging reveals uptake and translocation mechanism of pesticides in plants显示文摘Design and discovery of carrier-mediated modified pesticides are vital for reducing pesticide dosage and increasing utilization,yet it remains a great challenge due to limited insights into plant translocation mechanisms.Nanostructure/nanoparticle assisted laser desorption/ionization strategy has established itself as a preferential analytical tool for biological tissue analysis,whereas potential applications in plant sciences are hindered with regard to the inability to slice plant leaves and petals.Herein,we report gold nanoparticle(AuNP)-immersed paper imprinting mass spectrometry imaging(MSI)for the spatiotemporal visualization of pesticide translocation in plant leaves.This approach plays a dual role in preserving spatial information and improving ionization efficiency for pesticides regardless of imaging artifacts due to homogenous AuNP deposition.Using this MSI platform,we proposed the elaborate plant translocation mechanism of agrochemicals for the first time,which is currently poorly understood.The dynamic processes of carrier-mediated pesticides can be clearly visualized,including crossing of plasma membranes by transporters,translocation downward in stems through the phloem,diffusion to the xylem and,conversely,accumulation at margins of the treated leaves.Moreover,this AuNP-assisted paper imprinting method could be highly compatible with laser-based MSI instruments,expediting researches across a broad range of fields,especially in nanomaterial development and life sciences.Xinzhou Wu Run Qin Hanxiang Wu Guangkai Yao Yue Zhang Ping Li Yizhu Xu Zhixiang Zhang Zhibin Yin Hanhong Xu 2020Nano Research2020,13,3:8
9System integration of China's first PEMFC locomotive显示文摘In the face of growing environmental pollution,developing a fuel-cell-driven shunting locomotive is a great challenge in China for environmental protection and energy saving,which combines the environmental advantages of an electric locomotive with the lower infrastructure costs of a diesel-electric locomotive.In this paper,the investigation status and the development trend of the fuel-cell-driven shunting locomotive were introduced.Through innovation of the power system using fuel cells,an experiment prototype of a fuel-cell shunting locomotive was developed,which would reduce the effects on the environment of the existing locomotives.This was the first locomotive to use a proton exchange membrane fuel-cell(PEMFC) power plant in China.From October 2012,we started to test the fuel-cell power plant and further test runs on the test rail-line in Chengdu,Sichuan.The achieved encouraging results can provide fundamental data for the modification of the current individual fuel cell locomotives or further development of the fuel-cell hybrid ones in China.WeiRong Chen Fei Peng Zhixiang Liu Qi Li Chaohua Dai 2013Journal of Modern Transportation2013,21,3:7
10Time series prediction of mining subsidence based on a SVM显示文摘In order to study dynamic laws of surface movements over coal mines due to mining activities,a dynamic prediction model of surface movements was established,based on the theory of support vector machines(SVM) and times-series analysis.An engineering application was used to verify the correctness of the model.Measurements from observation stations were analyzed and processed to obtain equal-time interval surface movement data and subjected to tests of stationary,zero means and normality.Then the data were used to train the SVM model.A time series model was established to predict mining subsidence by rational choices of embedding dimensions and SVM parameters.MAPE and WIA were used as indicators to evaluate the accuracy of the model and for generalization performance.In the end,the model was used to predict future surface movements.Data from observation stations in Huaibei coal mining area were used as an example.The results show that the maximum absolute error of subsidence is 9 mm,the maximum relative error 1.5%,the maximum absolute error of displacement 7 mm and the maximum relative error 1.8%.The accuracy and reliability of the model meet the requirements of on-site engineering.The results of the study provide a new approach to investigate the dynamics of surface movements.Li Peixian Tan Zhixiang Yan Lili Deng Kazhong 2011Mining Science and Technology2011,21,4:6
11Elevated plasma levels of selective cytokines in COVID-19 patients reflect viral load and lung injury显示文摘A recent outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan,China was found to be caused by a 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV or SARS-CoV-2 or HCoV-19).We previously reported the clinical features of 12 patients with2019-n Co V infections in Shenzhen,China.To further understand the pathogenesis of COVID-19 and find better ways to monitor and treat the disease caused by 2019-n Co V,we measured the levels of 48 cytokines in the blood plasma of those 12 COVID-19 patients.Thirty-eight out of the 48 measured cytokines in the plasma of 2019-n Co V-infected patients were significantly elevated compared to healthy individuals.Seventeen cytokines were linked to 2019-nCoV loads.Fifteen cytokines,namely M-CSF,IL-10,IFN-α2,IL-17,IL-4,IP-10,IL-7,IL-1 ra,G-CSF,IL-12,IFN-γ,IL-1α,IL-2,HGF and PDGF-BB,were strongly associated with the lung-injury Murray score and could be used to predict the disease severity of2019-n Co V infections by calculating the area under the curve of the receiver-operating characteristics.Our results suggest that 2019-nCoV infections trigger extensive changes in a wide array of cytokines,some of which could be potential biomarkers of disease severity of 2019-n Co V infections.These findings will likely improve our understanding of the immunopathologic mechanisms of this emerging disease.Our results also suggest that modulators of cytokine responses may play a therapeutic role in combating the disease once the functions of these elevated cytokines have been characterized.Yingxia Liu Cong Zhang Fengming Huang Yang Yang Fuxiang Wang Jing Yuan Zheng Zhang Yuhao Qin Xiaoyun Li Dandan Zhao Shunwang Li Shuguang Tan Zhaoqin Wang Jinxiu Li Chenguang Shen Jianming Li Ling Peng Weibo Wu Mengli Cao Li Xing Zhixiang Xu Li Chen Congzhao Zhou William J Liu Lei Liu Chengyu Jiang 2020National Science Review2020,7,6:6
12A method to calculate displacement factors using SVM显示文摘In order to improve the precision of mining subsidence prediction, a mathematical model using Support Vector Machine (SVM) was established to calculate the displacement factor. The study is based on a comprehensive analysis of factors affecting the displacement factor, such as mechanical properties of the cover rock, the ratio of mining depth to seam thickness, dip angle of the coal seam and the thickness of loose layer. Data of 63 typical observation stations were used as a training and testing sample set. A SVM regression model of the displacement factor and the factors affecting it was established with a kernel function, an insensitive loss factor and a properly selected penalty factor. Given an accurate calculation algorithm for testing and analysis, the results show that an SVM regression model can calculate displacement factor precisely and reliable precision can be obtained which meets engineering requirements. The experimental results show that the method to calculation of the displacement factor, based on the SVM method, is feasible. The many factors affecting the displacement factor can be considered with this method. 13Study of probability integration method parameter inversion by the genetic algorithm显示文摘In order to obtain accurate probability integration method(PIM) parameters for surface movement of multi-panel mining, a genetic algorithm(GA) was used to optimize the parameters. As the measured surface movement is affected by more than one mining panel, traditional PIM parameter inversion model is difficult to ensure the reliability of the results due to the complexity of rock movement. With crossover,mutation and selection operators, GA can perform a global optimization search and has high computation efficiency. Compared with the pattern search algorithm, the fitness function can avoid falling into local minima traps. GA reduces the risk of local minima traps which improves the accuracy and reliability with the mutation mechanism. Application at Xuehu colliery shows that GA can be used to inverse the PIM parameters for multi-panel surface movement observation, and reliable results can be obtained. 14Methyl jasmonate mediates melatonin-induced cold tolerance of grafted watermelon plants显示文摘Root–shoot communication has a critical role in plant adaptation to environmental stress.Grafting is widely applied to enhance the abiotic stress tolerance of many horticultural crop species;however,the signal transduction mechanism involved in this tolerance remains unknown.Here,we show that pumpkin-or figleaf gourd rootstock-enhanced cold tolerance of watermelon shoots is accompanied by increases in the accumulation of melatonin,methyl jasmonate(MeJA),and hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)).Increased melatonin levels in leaves were associated with both increased melatonin in rootstocks and MeJA-induced melatonin biosynthesis in leaves of plants under cold stress.Exogenous melatonin increased the accumulation of MeJA and H_(2)O_(2) and enhanced cold tolerance,while inhibition of melatonin accumulation attenuated rootstock-induced MeJA and H_(2)O_(2) accumulation and cold tolerance.MeJA application induced H_(2)O_(2) accumulation and cold tolerance,but inhibition of JA biosynthesis abolished rootstock-or melatonin-induced H_(2)O_(2) accumulation and cold tolerance.Additionally,inhibition of H_(2)O_(2) production attenuated MeJA-induced tolerance to cold stress.Taken together,our results suggest that melatonin is involved in grafting-induced cold tolerance by inducing the accumulation of MeJA and H_(2)O_(2).MeJA subsequently increases melatonin accumulation,forming a self-amplifying feedback loop that leads to increased H_(2)O_(2) accumulation and cold tolerance.This study reveals a novel regulatory mechanism of rootstock-induced cold tolerance.Hao Li Yanliang Guo Zhixiang Lan Kai Xu Jingjing Chang Golam Jalal Ahammed Jianxiang Ma Chunhua Wei Xian Zhang 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:5

16Flame Retardancy of Epoxy Resin/β-cyclodextrin@Resorcinol Bisdiphenylphosphate Inclusion Composites显示文摘In order to improve the efficiency of β-CD,the inclusion complex of β-CD and resorcinol bisdiphenylphosphate (RDP) (β-CD@RDP) was prepared,which β-CD was as the host component and RDP was as the guest.The structure and thermal stability property of β-CD@RDP was also characterized.EP/β-CD@RDP composites were prepared by adding β-CD@RDP into EP matrix.The results of thermogravimetric test showed that the flame retardant systems could effectively increase the corresponding temperature of EP matrix to reach the maximum thermal decomposition rate,and exhibited good char-forming property.When the amount of β-CD@RDP in EP was 20wt%,the limiting oxygen index (LOI) value of EP was increased to 26.5% from 19.8%,and the vertical burning test (UL-94) reached V-1 level.The cone calorimeter test indicated that 20wt% loading in EP could reduce the peak of heat release rate (PHRR) and the total heat release (THR) of EP by 94.7% and 93.4% respectively,and the peak of smoke production rate (PSPR) and the total smoke production (TSP) was reduced by 16.7% and 22.2%,respectively.Therefore,the addition of β-CD@RDP could reduce the fire risk of EP effectively.SHAN Xueying HAN Ji SONG Yan XING Zhixiang LI Jinchun 2020Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2020,35,2:4

18Fluorination-substitution effect on all-small-molecule organic solar cells显示文摘Due to the strong crystallinity and anisotropy of small molecules, matched molecular photoelectric properties and morphologies between small molecules and non-fullerene acceptors are especially important in all-small-molecule organic solar cells(OSCs).Introducing fluorine atoms has been proved as an effective strategy to achieve a high device performance through tuning molecular energy levels, absorption and assembly properties. Herein, we designed a novel benzodithiophene-based small molecule donor BDTF-CA with deep highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO) energy level. All-small-molecule OSCs were fabricated by combing non-fullerene acceptor IDIC with different fluorine-atom numbers. Two or four fluorine atoms were introduced to the end-capped acceptor of IDIC, which are named as IDIC-2 F and IDIC-4 F, respectively. With the increase of fluorination from IDIC to IDIC-4 F, the open circuit voltage(Voc) of the devices decreased, while hole and electron mobilities of the active layers increased by one order of magnitude. 20The heterogeneity of hydrometeorological changes during the period of 1961-2016 in the source region of the Yellow River, China显示文摘Runoff in the source region of a river makes up most of water resources in the whole basin in arid and semi-arid areas. It is very important for water resources management to timely master the latest dynamic changes of the runoff and quantitatively reveal its main driving factors. This paper aims to discover the variation heterogeneity of runoff and the impacts of climatic factors on this runoff in the source region of the Yellow River(SRYR) in China from 1961 to 2016. We divided SRYR into four sub-regions, and analyzed changes of their contributions to total runoff in SRYR. We also revealed the impacts of precipitation, temperature and potential evapotranspiration on runoff in each sub-region by constructing the regression relationships between them at multiple temporal scales. The changes of runoff in the four sub-regions and their contributions to the total runoff were not exactly consistent. The climatic variables’ changes also have heterogeneity, and runoff was mainly affected by precipitation compared to influences of temperature or potential evapotranspiration.
