1Density functional theory(DFT) studies of vanadium-titanium based selective catalytic reduction(SCR) catalysts显示文摘Based on density functional theory(DFT)and basic structure models,the chemical reactions on the surface of vanadium-titanium based selective catalytic reduction(SCR)denitrification catalysts were summarized.Reasonable structural models(non-periodic and periodic structural models)are the basis of density functional calculations.A periodic structure model was more appropriate to represent the catalyst surface,and its theoretical calculation results were more comparable with the experimental results than a nonperiodic model.It is generally believed that the SCR mechanism where NH3 and NO react to produce N2 and H2 O follows an Eley-Rideal type mechanism.NH2 NO was found to be an important intermediate in the SCR reaction,with multiple production routes.Simultaneously,the effects of H2 O,SO2 and metal on SCR catalysts were also summarized.Ziwei Zhao Erwei Li Yu Qin Xiaolong Liu Yang Zou Heng Wu Tingyu Zhu 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,4:4
2The osmolyte-producing endophyte Streptomyces albidoflavus OsiLf-2 induces drought and salt tolerance in rice via a multi-level mechanism显示文摘Drought and salinity are major environmental stresses that impair crop growth and productivity worldwide. Improving drought and salt tolerance of crops with microbial mutualists is an effective and environmentally sound strategy to meet the demands of the ever-growing world population. In the present study, we found that the Streptomyces albidoflavus Osi Lf-2, a moderately salt-tolerant endophytic actinomycete, produced abundant osmolytes, including proline, polysaccharides, and ectoine. Inoculation with Osi Lf-2 increased the osmotic-adjustment ability of the rice host by increasing the proline content(by250.3% and 49.4%) and soluble sugar(by 20.9% and 49.4%) in rice under drought and salt conditions, relative to the uninoculated control. Osi Lf-2 increased stress responses in the rice host at the physiological and biochemical levels(photosynthesis efficiency, osmolytes and antioxidant content), and the gene level(osmolytes synthesis, stress-responsive and ion-transport related genes), raising rice yields under both greenhouse and saline–alkaline soil conditions. 3A numerical investigation of gas flow behavior in two-layered coal seams considering interlayer interference and heterogeneity显示文摘Multiple-seam gas coproduction is a technology with potential to achieve economic targets.Physical experiments could replicate gas flow dynamics in two seams.In this study,numerical simulation was conducted based on physical experiments.Through calibration,the simulated results agreed with the experimental results.Three findings were obtained.First,the pressure distribution intrinsically depends on the depressurization effectiveness in each coal seam.The gas pressure difference and interval distance influence the pressure distribution by inhibiting depressurization in the top seams and bottom seams,respectively.Second,the production contribution shows a logarithmic relationship with the permeability ratio.The range of the production contribution difference grows from 11.24%to 99.99%when the permeability ratio increases 50 times.By comparison,reservoir pressure has a limited influence,with a maximum of 13.64%.Third,the interlayer interference of the top seams and bottom seams can be intensified by the reservoir pressure difference and the interval distance,respectively.The proposed model has been calibrated and verified and can be directly applied to engineering,serving as a reference for reservoir combination optimization.In summary,coal seams with a permeability ratio within 10,reservoir pressure difference within 1.50 MPa,and interval distances within 50 m are recommended to coproduce together.Ziwei Wang Yong Qin Teng Li Xiaoyang Zhang 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,4:3
4Satellite observations of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the surface water of the Huanghai Sea and the Bohai Sea显示文摘Based on 5 831 continuous in situ measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide on the sea surface p(CO2),related parameters of the sea surface temperature(SST) and chlorophyll-a(Chl a) concentration in 2010 winter,spring and summer of the Huanghai Sea and the Bohai Sea,the inherent relations among them are investigated preliminarily.This study reveals that the seasonal variability of SST and Chl a concentration has a significant influence on p(CO2).The authors have proposed a new algorithm to estimate p(CO2) from SST and Chl a concentration measurements.Compared with the vessel data,the root mean square error(RMSE) of p(CO2) retrieved by using the new model is 13.45 μatm(1atm=101.325 kPa) and the relative error is less than 4%.Then,SST and Chl a concentration data observed by satellite are used to retrieve p(CO2) in the Huanghai Sea and the Bohai Sea;and a better accuracy can be obtained if the quality control for sea surface chlorophyll-a concentration observed by satellite is used.The RMSE of retrieved p(CO2) data with quality control and that without quality control are 15.82 μatm and 31.74 μatm,respectively.TAO Zui QIN Bangyong LI Ziwei YANG Xiaofeng 2012Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,3:1
5A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. 6Dihydroartemisinin induces ER stress-dependent apoptosis of Echinococcus protoscoleces in vitro显示文摘In this study,we investigated the effect of dihydroartemisinin on Echinococcus protoscoleces and explored the role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in this process.Echinococcus protoscoleces were collected and cultured in RPMI 1640 medium.Changes in the expressions of glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP-78),caspase-12,and C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP)were assessed through confocal immunofluorescence and western blot analysis.Cell viability and morphological changes were observed under a light microscope.The ultrastructure of protoscoleces was observed by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.Caspase-3 activity was detected using an enzyme assay kit.After dihydroartemisinin treatment,the protoscoleces showed loss of viability,and morphological changes including soma contraction,blebs formation,hooks loss,microtrichia destruction,and development of lipid droplets was observed.The levels of caspase-12 and CHOP were increased within 2 days of dihydroartemisinin treatment.However,the levels of GRP-78,caspase-12,and CHOP were decreased in 4 days.Furthermore,caspase-3 activity was increased after treatment with different concentrations of dihydroartemisinin.Dihydroartemisinin can induce apoptosis in protoscoleces via the ER stress-caspase-3 apoptotic pathway in vitro.These results indicate that dihydroartemisinin is a potentially valuable therapeutic agent against echinococcosis.Rongji Ma Wenjuan Qin Yuanmao Xie Ziwei Han Shuojie Li Yufeng Jiang Hailong Lv 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,10:1

9Joint Effects of Heat Stress and PM_(2.5) Exposure on Glucose Metabolism and Hepatic Insulin Signaling显示文摘Background:Heatwave events occur more frequently,accompanied by a significant increase in the ambient concentration of fine particulate matter(PM 2.5).Epidemiological and experimental studies have suggested that heat stress or PM 2.5 exposure would impair glucose homeostasis and insulin sensitivity.Objective:To explore the joint effects of heat stress and PM 2.5 exposure on glucose metabolism and hepatic insulin pathway.Methods:C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into filtered air(FA)group,fine particulate matter(PM)group,filtered air combined with heat stress(FH)group,and PM combined with heat stress(PH)group.Mice were exposed to PM for a total of 6 weeks,and heat stress combined with PM exposure was applied at the 5th and 6th weeks via a whole-body exposure system.Systemic glucose homeostasis,insulin sensitivity,and circulating inflammatory cytokines were examined.HSP72 expression and insulin signaling in the liver were measured.Results:Glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity were impaired in response to heat stress,accompanied by less-ened hepatic GLUT2 expression and inhibited insulin signaling pathway.No synergistic effects of heat stress and PM 2.5 exposure on glucose homeostasis were observed,while heat-upregulated HSP72 expression was attenuated with accumulated TNF��induced by further PM 2.5 exposure.Conclusion:Heat stress combined with PM 2.5 exposure induced TNF��,which could inhibit heat-elevated hepatic HSP72 expression.Elevated circulating TNF��impaired hepatic insulin signaling and GLUT2 expression.Then,glucose homeostasis was perturbed,and insulin action was impaired.Weijia Gu Ziwei Cai Ruiqing Wang Mianhua Zhong Lung-Chi Chen Lu Zhang Rucheng Chen Ran Li Li Qin Qinghua Sun Cuiqing Liu 2023Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology2023,3,2:0

11Cyclic Characteristics of the Physical Properties of Key Strata in CBM Systems Controlled by Sequence Stratigraphy—An Example from the Gujiao Block显示文摘Multiple coal seams and interbedded rock assemblages formed in vertical progression due to the influence of multiple stages of sea level transgressions.Based on mercury injection experiment,low temperature liquid nitrogen experiment,porosity and permeability experiment and breakthrough pressure experiment,the vertical variation characteristics of coal-bearing strata in Gujiao block are explained in detail.The results of the mercury injection and low temperature liquid nitrogen experiments show that the pore structure characteristics fluctuate with increasing depth in the strata,with fewer micropores followed by transition pores.The BET specific surface area and average pore diameter of the Shanxi Formation are generally larger than those of the Taiyuan Formation.Due to the continuous cyclic sequence stratigraphy changes,the porosity,permeability,breakthrough pressure and breakthrough time of the samples show a certain cyclicity.Within the same sequence,the porosity is larger,and the permeability is smaller near the maximum flooding surface.Although the permeability of the sandstone samples is higher,the porosity is lower,and the breakthrough pressure and breakthrough times are greater.The strata in the study area formed in an oxidized environment that was affected by freshwater,and the pore structure of different lithologies is quite different.After the formation of sandstone,the intergranular pores generally underwent filling with secondary quartz,clay minerals and organic matter,resulting in low porosity and permeability.WANG Gang QIN Yong XIE Yiwei WANG Ziwei WANG Boyang WANG Qi ZHANG Xiaoyang 2020Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,2:0
12Molecular understanding of postharvest flower opening and senescence显示文摘Flowers are key organs in many ornamental plants,and various phases of flower development impact their economic value.The final stage of petal development is associated with flower senescence,which is an irreversible process involving programmed cell death,and premature senescence of cut flowers often results in major losses in quality during postharvest handling.Flower opening and senescence are two sequential processes.As flowers open,the stamens are exposed to attract pollinators.Once pollination occurs,flower senescence is initiated.Both the opening and senescence processes are regulated by a range of endogenous phytohormones and environmental factors.Ethylene acts as a central regulator for the ethylene-sensitive flowers.Other phytohormones,including auxin,gibberellin,cytokinin,jasmonic acid and abscisic acid,are also involved in the control of petal expansion and senescence.Water status also directly influences postharvest flower opening,while pollination is a key event in initiating the onset flower senescence.Here,we review the current understanding of flower opening and senescence,and propose future research directions,such as the study of interactions between hormonal and environmental signals,the application of new technology,and interdisciplinary research.Xiaoming Sun Meizhu Qin Qin Yu Ziwei Huang Yue Xiao Yang Li Nan Ma Junping Gao 2021Molecular Horticulture2021,1,1:0
13A nanobody-based blocking enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for detecting antibodies against pseudorabies virus glycoprotein E显示文摘Pseudorabies(PR)is an acute infectious disease of pigs caused by the PR virus(PRV)and results in great economic losses to the pig industry worldwide.PRV glycoprotein E(gE)-based enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)has been used to distinguish gE-deleted vaccine-immunized pigs from wild-type virus-infected pigs to eradicate PR in some countries.Nanobody has the advantages of small size and easy genetic engineering and has been a promising diagnostic reagent.However,there were few reports about developing nanobody-based ELISA for detecting anti-PRV-gE antibodies.In the present study,the recombinant PRV-gE was expressed with a bacterial system and used to immunize the Bactrian camel.Then,two nanobodies against PRV-gE were screened from the immunized camel by phage display technique.Subsequently,two nanobody-HRP fusion proteins were expressed with HEK293T cells.The PRV-gE-Nb36-HRP fusion protein was selected as the probe for developing the blocking ELISA(bELISA)to detect anti-PRV-gE antibodies.Through optimizing the conditions of bELISA,the amount of coated antigen was 200 ng per well,and dilutions of the fusion protein and tested pig sera were separately 1:320 and 1:5.The cut-off value of bELISA was 24.20%,and the sensitivity and specificity were 96.43 and 92.63%,respectively.By detecting 233 clinical pig sera with the developed bELISA and a commercial kit,the results showed that the coincidence rate of two assays was 93.99%.Additionallly,epitope mapping showed that PRV-gE-Nb36 recognized a conserved conformational epitope in different reference PRV strains.Simple,great stability and low-cost nanobody-based bELISA for detecting anti-PRV-gE antibodies were developed.The bELISA could be used for monitoring and eradicating PR.Huanhuan Lü Pinpin Ji Siyu Liu Ziwei Zhang Lei Wang Yani Sun Baoyuan Liu Lizhen Wang Qin Zhao 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,4:0
14Fabrication of magnesium-doped porous polylactic acid microsphere for bone regeneration显示文摘Biodegradable polymer microspheres that can be used as drug carriers are of great importance in biomedical applications,however,there are still challenges in controllable preparation of microsphere surface morphology and improvement of bioactivity.In this paper,firstly,poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)was synthesised by ring-opening polymerisation under anhydrous anaerobic conditions and further combined with the emulsion method,biodegradable PLLA microspheres(PM)with sizes ranging from 60-100μm and with good sphericity were prepared.In addition,to further improve the surface morphology of PLLA microspheres and enhance their bioactivity,functionalised porous PLLA microspheres loaded with magnesium oxide(MgO)/magnesium carbonate(MgCO_(3))(PMg)were also prepared by the emulsion method.The results showed that the loading of MgO/MgCO_(3)resulted in the formation of a porous structure on the surface of the microspheres(PMg)and the dissolved Mg^(2+)could be released slowly during the degradation of microspheres.In vitro cellular experiments demonstrated the good biocompatibility of PM and PMg,while the released Mg^(2+)further enhanced the anti-inflammatory effect and osteogenic activity of PMg.Functionalised PMg not only show promise for controlled preparation of drug carriers,but also have translational potential for bone regeneration.Ziwei Tao Ziyang Yuan Dong Zhou Lang Qin Lan Xiao Shihao Zhang Changsheng Liu Jinzhong Zhao Yulin Li 2023Biomaterials Translational2023,4,4:0
15Carbon-doped CuFe_(2)O_(4) with C--O--M channels for enhanced Fenton-like degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride: From construction to mechanism显示文摘Carbon-doped copper ferrite(C–CuFe_(2)O_(4))was synthesized by a simple two-step hydrothermal method,which showed enhanced tetracycline hydrochloride(TCH)removal efficiency as compared to the pure CuFe_(2)O_(4) in Fenton-like reaction.A removal efficiency of 94%was achieved with 0.2 g L^(-1) catalyst and 20 mmol L^(-1) H_(2)O_(2) within 90 min.We demonstrated that 5%C–CuFe_(2)O_(4) catalyst in the presence of H_(2)O_(2) was significantly efficient for TCH degradation under the near-neutral pH(5–9)without buffer.Multiple techniques,including SEM,TEM,XRD,FTIR,Raman,XPS M€ossbauer and so on,were conducted to investigate the structures,morphologies and electronic properties of as-prepared samples.The introduction of carbon can effectively accelerate electron transfer by cooperating with Cu and Fe to activate H_(2)O_(2) to generate·OH and·O_(2)^(-).Particularly,theoretical calculations display that the p,p,d orbital hybridization of C,O,Cu and Fe can form C–O–Cu and C–O–Fe bonds,and the electrons on carbon can transfer to metal Cu and Fe along the C–O–Fe and C–O–Cu channels,thus forming electron-rich reactive centers around Fe and Cu.This work provides lightful reference for the modification of spinel ferrites in Fenton-like application.Hong Qin Yangzhuo He Piao Xu Yuan Zhu Han Wang Ziwei Wang Yin Zhao Haijiao Xie Quyang Tian Changlin Wang Ying Zeng Yicheng Li 2024Green Energy & Environment2024,9,4:0
16A New Technique for The Therapy of Complicated Deep Tissue Infection(with 4 Cases)显示文摘Objective: The objective of this study was to discuss the effect of double perfusion cannula accompanied with low negative pressure drainage in the treatment of complexity of abdominopelvic and perineal infections. Methods: The technology of the double perfusion cannula accompanied with low negative pressure drainage was used to treat complexity of abdominopelvic and perineal infections. Results: Double perfusion cannula accompanied with low negative pressure drainage can be applied to the treatment of complexity of abdominopelvic and perineal infections. It has an obvious effect on infection control and reduces recovery time.
