| 1 | Highly efficient and stable CuZr-based metallic glassy catalysts for azo dye degradation显示文摘Metallic glasses with the unique disordered atomic structure and metastable nature have been recently applied to degrade the azo dyes and other organic pollutants based on their superior catalytic performance.In this work,the functional properties of six Cu Zr-based metallic glassy ribbons with the different nominal components in degrading Acid OrangeⅡ(AOⅡ)azo dyes were investigated.The Cu47.5Zr46Al6.5 metallic glassy ribbons could exhibit the more advanced catalytic performance for degradation process,which could completely degrade azo dye aqueous solution within 30 min.Additionally,the Cu47.5Zr46Al6.5 metallic glassy ribbons also showed the excellent cyclic stability along with approximately 97.68%degradation efficiency after 10 cycles.These excellent catalytic performance and stability are closely related to the synergistic effect of exposed copper nanoparticles and produced copper oxides in the reaction,which contributes to accelerate the generation of more hydroxyl radicals(·OH)to react with dye molecules.Our findings can be able to develop a novel potential metallic glassy material for the functional application of wastewater treatment. | Bowen Zhao Zhengwang Zhu Xin Dong Qin Zhengkun Li Haifeng Zhang | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,11: | 3 |
| 2 | Recent Advances in Two-Dimensional Magnets:Physics and Devices towards Spintronic Applications显示文摘The emergence of low-dimensional nanomaterials has brought revolutionized development of magnetism,as the size effect can significantly influence the spin arrangement.Since the first demonstration of truly two-dimensional magnetic materials(2DMMs)in 2017,a wide variety of magnetic phases and associated properties have been exhibited in these 2DMMs,which offer a new opportunity to manipulate the spin-based devices efficiently in the future.Herein,we focus on the recent progress of 2DMMs and heterostructures in the aspects of their structural characteristics,physical properties,and spintronic applications.Firstly,the microscopy characterization of the spatial arrangement of spins in 2D lattices is reviewed.Afterwards,the optical probes in the light-matter-spin interactions at the 2D scale are discussed.Then,particularly,we systematically summarize the recent work on the electronic and spintronic devices of 2DMMs.In the section of electronic properties,we raise several exciting phenomena in 2DMMs,i.e.,long-distance magnon transport,field-effect transistors,varying magnetoresistance behavior,and(quantum)anomalous Hall effect.In the section of spintronic applications,we highlight spintronic devices based on 2DMMs,e.g.,spin valves,spin-orbit torque,spin field-effect transistors,spin tunneling field-effect transistors,and spin-filter magnetic tunnel junctions.At last,we also provide our perspectives on the current challenges and future expectations in this field,which may be a helpful guide for theorists and experimentalists who are exploring the optical,electronic,and spintronic properties of 2DMMs. | Vertikasari PNingrum Bowen Liu Wei Wang Yao Yin Yi Cao Chenyang Zha Hongguang Xie Xiaohong Jiang Yan Sun Sichen Qin Xiaolong Chen Tianshi Qin Chao Zhu Lin Wang Wei Huang | 2020 | Research2020,,1: | 2 |
| 3 | AaWRKY17, a positive regulator of artemisinin biosynthesis, is involved in resistance to Pseudomonas syringae in Artemisia annua显示文摘Artemisia annua,a traditional Chinese medicinal plant,remains the only plant source for artemisinin production,yet few genes have been identified to be involved in both the response to biotic stresses,such as pathogens,and artemisinin biosynthesis.Here,we isolated and identified the WRKY transcription factor(TF)AaWRKY17,which could significantly increase the artemisinin content and resistance to Pseudomonas syringae in A.annua.Yeast one-hybrid(Y1H),dual-luciferase(dual-LUC),and electrophoretic mobility shift assay(EMSA)results showed that AaWRKY17 directly bound to the W-box motifs in the promoter region of the artemisinin biosynthetic pathway gene amorpha-4,11-diene synthase(ADS)and promoted its expression.Real-time quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)analysis revealed that the transcript levels of two defense marker genes,Pathogenesis-Related 5(PR5)and NDR1/HIN1-LIKE 10(NHL10),were greatly increased in AaWRKY17-overexpressing transgenic A.annua plants.Additionally,overexpression of AaWRKY17 in A.annua resulted in decreased susceptibility to P.syringae.These results indicated that AaWRKY17 acted as a positive regulator in response to P.syringae infection.Together,our findings demonstrated that the novel WRKY transcription factor AaWRKY17 could potentially be used in transgenic breeding to improve the content of artemisinin and pathogen tolerance in A.annua. | Tiantian Chen Yongpeng Li Lihui Xie Xiaolong Hao Hang Liu Wei Qin Chen Wang Xin Yan Kuanyu Wu-Zhang Xinghao Yao Bowen Peng Yaojie Zhang Xueqing Fu Ling Li Kexuan Tang | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 2 |
| 4 | Evaluation of the intracellular lipid-lowering effect of polyphenols extract from highland barley in HepG2 cells显示文摘Active ingredients from highland barley have received considerable attention as natural products for developing treatments and dietary supplements against obesity.In practical application,the research of food combinations is more significant than a specific food component.This study investigated the lipid-lowering effect of highland barley polyphenols via lipase assay in vitro and HepG2 cells induced by oleic acid(OA).Five indexes,triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(T-CHO),low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),and alanine aminotransferase(ALT),were used to evaluate the lipidlowering effect of highland barley extract.We also preliminary studied the lipid-lowering mechanism by Realtime fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(q PCR).The results indicated that highland barley extract contains many components with lipid-lowering effects,such as hyperoside and scoparone.In vitro,the lipase assay showed an 18.4%lipase inhibition rate when the additive contents of highland barley extract were 100μg/m L.The intracellular lipid-lowering effect of highland barley extract was examined using 0.25 mmol/L OA-induced HepG2 cells.The results showed that intracellular TG,LDL-C,and T-CHO content decreased by 34.4%,51.2%,and 18.4%,respectively.ALT and AST decreased by 51.6%and 20.7%compared with the untreated hyperlipidemic HepG2 cells.q PCR results showed that highland barley polyphenols could up-regulation the expression of lipid metabolism-related genes such as PPARγand Fabp4. | Yijun Yao Zhifang Li Bowen Qin Xingrong Ju Lifeng Wang | 2024 | Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,1: | 1 |
| 5 | Effect of High Electric Field on Lifetime Performance of Metalized Film Capacitor in Pulsed-power Applications显示文摘High energy density capacitor is a key device to power supply source for electromagnetic gun (EMG) system, and extending its lifetime is important for increasing the reliability of the power source. Working in high electric field could affect the capacitor lifetime, and this effect on metallized polypropylene film capacitors (MPPFCs) in pulsed-power applications is studied and presented. Experimental re- sults show that the lifetime of MPPFCs decreases with the increasing peak value of charged electric field, and this decrease could be described by function (L/L0) ∝ (E/E0)–m, where, m=7.32. The lifetime of MPPFCs also decreases with the increase of the reversal coeffi- cients in underdamped circuits, which could be described by (L/L0) ∝ (ln(1/K0)/(ln(1/K))–b, where, b=0.7. | 6 | Integration of microfluidic injection analysis with carbon nanomaterials/gold nanowire arrays-based biosensors for glucose detection显示文摘Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and reduced graphene oxide(r GO) nanosheets were utilized to construct glucose biosensors in combination with gold nanowire arrays(Au NWAs), and microfluidic injection analysis driven by gravity force was used to investigate the performances of as-prepared glucose biosensors. The results demonstrated glucose biosensors based on carbon nanomaterials/Au NWAs presented excellent performance at low working potential of-0.2 V versus Ag/Ag Cl(3 mol/L KCl), such as high sensitivity, good anti-interference ability and high throughput(45 h^(-1)). The glucose biosensor based on glucose oxidase(GOx)–CNT–Au NWAs showed a wide linear range from 100 to 3,000 lmol/L with a sensitivity of 4.12 l A/cm^2 mmol/L. | 9 | Stratigraphic Framework of the Cryogenian in China显示文摘The Cryogenian is a critical period in the history of the Earth. It is marked by multiple extreme climate changes that caused alternating global glacial and interglacial intervals. These dramatically changed the sedimentary system, and metal ores and source rocks distributed widely during this period. Therefore, studying the Cryogenian stratigraphic framework and sedimentary basins is important to improve the stratigraphic resolution for metal mineral and hydrocarbon prospecting and exploration in China. This review paper firstly divides three tectonic-stratigraphic regions in China in the Cryogenian, including the tectonic-stratigraphic regions of Great South China, Xingmeng-Tarim, and North China. Secondly, geochronologic data and geological records are combined to clearly depict the Cryogenian sedimentary sequence of continental blocks and micro-continental blocks in different tectonic-stratigraphic regions. The results were used to propose a new comparison scheme of stratigraphy for the Cryogenian in China. | 12 | Oral squamous cell carcinomas:state of the field and emerging directions显示文摘Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) develops on the mucosal epithelium of the oral cavity. It accounts for approximately 90% oforal malignancies and impairs appearance, pronunciation, swallowing, and flavor perception. In 2020, 377,713 OSCC cases werereported globally. According to the Global Cancer Observatory (GCO), the incidence of OSCC will rise by approximately 40% by2040, accompanied by a growth in mortality. Persistent exposure to various risk factors, including tobacco, alcohol, betel quid (BQ),and human papillomavirus (HPV), will lead to the development of oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs), which are oralmucosal lesions with an increased risk of developing into OSCC. Complex and multifactorial, the oncogenesis process involvesgenetic alteration, epigenetic modification, and a dysregulated tumor microenvironment. Although various therapeuticinterventions, such as chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and nanomedicine, have been proposed to prevent or treat OSCCand OPMDs, understanding the mechanism of malignancies will facilitate the identification of therapeutic and prognostic factors,thereby improving the efficacy of treatment for OSCC patients. | 13 | Targeting PSAT1 to mitigate metastasis in tumors with p53-72Pro variant显示文摘The single-nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)of p53,in particular the codon 72 variants,has recently been implicated as a critical regulator in tumor progression.However,the underlying mechanism remains elusive.Here we found that cancer cells carrying codon 72-Pro variant of p53 showed impaired metastatic potential upon serine supplementation.Proteome-wide mapping of p53-interacting proteins uncovered a specific interaction of the codon 72 proline variant(but not p5372R)with phosphoserine aminotransferase 1(PSAT1).Interestingly,p53^(72P)-PSAT1 interaction resulted in dissociation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γcoactivator 1α(PGC-1α)that otherwise bound to p53^(72P),leading to subsequent nuclear translocation of PGC-1αand activation of oxidative phosphorylation(OXPHOS)and tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle.Depletion of PSAT1 restored p53^(72P)-PGC-1αinteraction and impeded the OXPHOS and TCA function,resulting in mitochondrial dysfunction and metastasis suppression.Notably,pharmacological targeting the PSAT1-p53^(72P)interaction by aminooxyacetic acid(AOA)crippled the growth of liver cancer cells carrying the p53^(72P)variant in both in vitro and patient-derived xenograft models.Moreover,AOA plus regorafenib,an FDA-proved drug for hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal cancer,achieved a better anti-tumor effect on tumors carrying the p53^(72P)variant.Therefore,our findings identified a gain of function of the p53^(72P)variant on mitochondrial function and provided a promising precision strategy to treat tumors vulnerable to p53^(72P)-PSAT1 perturbation. | Jingwen Jiang Hai-Ning Chen Ping Jin Li Zhou Liyuan Peng Zhao Huang Siyuan Qin Bowen Li Hui Ming Maochao Luo Na Xie Wei Gao Edouard C.Nice Qiang Yu Canhua Huang | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,3: | 0 |
| 14 | Efficient conversion of lignin to alkylphenols over highly stable inverse spinel MnFe_(2)O_(4) catalysts显示文摘The aromatic properties of lignin make it a promising source of valuable chemicals and fuels.Developing efficient and stable catalysts to effectively convert lignin into high-value chemicals is challenging.In this work,MnFe_(2)O_(4) spinel catalysts with oxygen-rich vacancies and porous distribution were synthesized by a simple solvothermal process and used to catalyze the depolymerization of lignin in an isopropanol solvent system.The specific surface area was 110.5 m^(2)∙g^(–1),which substantially increased the active sites for lignin depolymerization compared to Fe3O4.The conversion of lignin reached 94%,and the selectivity of alkylphenols exceeded 90% after 5 h at 250℃.Underpinned by characterizations,products,and density functional theory analysis,the results showed that the catalytic performance of MnFe_(2)O_(4) was attributed to the composition of Mn and Fe with strong Mn–O–Fe synergy.In addition,the cycling experiments and characterization showed that the depolymerized lignin on MnFe_(2)O_(4) has excellent cycling stability.Thus,our work provides valuable insights into the mechanism of lignin catalytic depolymerization and paves the way for the industrial-scale application of this process. | Yi Qi Xuezhi Zeng Lingyingzi Xiong Xuliang Lin Bowen Liu Yanlin Qin | 2023 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,8: | 0 |

| 16 | Characterization of genetic humanized mice with transgenic HLA DP401 or DRA but deficient in endogenous murine MHC classⅡgenes upon Staphylococcus aureus pneumonia显示文摘Background:Staphylococcus aureus can cause serious infections by secreting many superantigen exotoxins in“carrier”or“pathogenic”states.HLA DQ and HLA DR humanized mice have been used as a small animal model to study the role of two molecules during S.aureus infection.However,the contribution of HLA DP to S.aureus infection is unknown yet.Methods:In this study,we have produced HLA DP401 and HLA DRA0101 humanized mice by microinjection of C57BL/6J zygotes.Neo-floxed IAβ+/-mice were crossbred with Ella-Cre and further crossbred with HLA DP401 or HLA-DRA0101 humanized mice.After several rounds of traditional crossbreeding,we finally obtained HLA DP401-IAβ-/-and HLA DRA-IAβ-/-humanized mice,in which human DP401 or DRA0101 molecule was introduced into IAβ-/-mice deficient in endogenous murine MHC classⅡmolecules.A transnasal infection murine model of S.aureus pneumonia was induced in the humanized mice by administering 2×108CFU of S.aureus Newman dropwise into the nasal cavity.The immune responses and histopathology changes were further assessed in lungs in these infected mice.Results:We evaluated the local and systemic effects of S.aureus delivered intranasally in HLA DP401-IAβ-/-and HLA DRA-IAβ-/-transgenic mice.S.aureus Newman infection significantly increased the m RNA level of IL 12p40 in lungs in humanized mice.An increase in IFN-γand IL-6 protein was observed in HLA DRA-IAβ-/-mice.We observed a declining trend in the percentage of F4/80+macrophages in lungs in HLA DP401-IAβ-/-mice and a decreasing ratio of CD4+to CD8+T cells in lungs in IAβ-/-mice and HLA DP401-IAβ-/-mice.A decreasing ratio of Vβ3+to Vβ8+T cells was also found in the lymph node of IAβ-/-mice and HLA DP401-IAβ-/-mice.S.aureus Newman infection resulted in a weaker pathological injury in lungs in IAβ-/-genetic background mice.Conclusion:These humanized mice will be an invaluable mouse model to resolve the pathological mechanism of S.aureus pneumonia and study what role DP molecule plays in S.aureus infection. | Feng Li Bowen Niu Lingling Liu Mengmin Zhu Hua Yang Boyin Qin Xiuhua Peng Lixiang Chen Chunhua Xu Xiaohui Zhou | 2023 | Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2023,6,6: | 0 |

| 18 | Manipulation for degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis:A systematic review of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Objective: To assess the effectiveness and safety of manipulation intervention for degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis(DLS).Methods: This is a systematic review and meta-analysis. A full-scale retrieval method was performed until February 1, 2021, including nine databases. The homogeneity of different studies was summarized using the Review Manager. The quality of studies was determined with the Cochrane risk-of-bias tool.The evidence quality was graded with the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluations approach.Results: A total of 6 studies involving 524 participants were included. The review demonstrated that manipulation has statistically significant improvements for treating DLS according to Japanese Orthopedic Association scores(mean difference, 3.76;95% confidence interval, 2.63 to 4.90;P <.001) and visual analog scale scores(mean difference,-1.50;95% confidence interval,-1.66 to-1.33;P <.001)compared to the control group. One study reported that the difference in the Oswestry Disability Index between the traction group and the combination of manipulation and traction group was statistically significant(P <.05), while another reported that manipulation treatment can significantly improve the lumbar spine rotation angle on X-ray images compared with the baseline data(P <.05). Moreover, the manipulation group(experimental group) had fewer adverse events than the lumbar traction group(control group).Conclusion: Manipulation intervention is more effective and safer for DLS. | 19 | Spatial Autocorrelation Analysis of Genetic Structure of Zelkova schneideriana in Mailing Town,Guangxi显示文摘We analyzed the fine-scale spatial genetic structure of the individuals of Zelkova schneideriana,which were classified by age using the spatial autocorrelation method,to quantify spatial patterns of genetic variation within the population and to explore potential mechanisms that determine genetic variation in population. The spatial autocorrelation coefficient( r) at 13 distance classes was determined on the basis of both geographical distance and genetic distance matrix which was derived from co-dominant SSR data using Gen Al Ex software. The results showed that all the individuals of Z. schneideriana exhibited significantly positive spatial genetic structure at distance less than 40 m( the X-intercept was 53. 568),indicating that the average length of the smallest genetic patch for the same genotype clustering of the Z. schneideriana Mailing population was about 50 m. Limited seed dispersal is the main factor that leads to the spatial genetic variation within populations. The individuals in age Class II showed significantly positive spatial genetic structure at distance less than 30 m( the X-intercept was 47. 882),while the individuals in age Class I and age Class III showed no significant spatial genetic structure in any of the spatial distance classes.
