3Traffic Flow Data Forecasting Based on Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Sets Theory显示文摘This paper proposes a long-term forecasting scheme and implementation method based on the interval type-2 fuzzy sets theory for traffic flow data. The type-2 fuzzy sets have advantages in modeling uncertainties because their membership functions are fuzzy. The scheme includes traffic flow data preprocessing module, type-2 fuzzification operation module and long-term traffic flow data forecasting output module, in which the Interval Approach acts as the core algorithm. The central limit theorem is adopted to convert point data of mass traffic flow in some time range into interval data of the same time range(also called confidence interval data) which is being used as the input of interval approach. The confidence interval data retain the uncertainty and randomness of traffic flow, meanwhile reduce the influence of noise from the detection data. The proposed scheme gets not only the traffic flow forecasting result but also can show the possible range of traffic flow variation with high precision using upper and lower limit forecasting result. 4A panel of monoclonal antibodies against the prion protein proves that there is no prion protein in human pancreatic ductal epithelial cells显示文摘Prion diseases are a group of neurodegenerative diseases that are fatal. The study of these unique diseases in China is hampered by a lack of resources. Amongst the most important resources for biological study are monoclonal antibodies. Here, we characterize a panel of monoclonal antibodies specific for cellular prion protein by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), immunofluorescent staining, flow cytometry, and western blotting. 5Development of high-power laser coatings显示文摘Laser resistance and stress-free mirrors,windows,polarizers,and beam splitters up to 400 mm×400 mm are required for the construction of the series SG facilities.In order to improve the coating quality,a program has been in place for the last ten years.For the small-aperture pick-off mirror,the laser-induced damage threshold(LIDT)is above 60 J/cm2(1064 nm,3 ns),and the reflected wavefront is less thanλ/4(λ=633 nm).The Brewster-angle polarizing beam splitter(Φ50×10 mm)shows the best LIDT result,up to 29.8 J cm 2(1064 nm,10 ns)for a p-polarized wave in the 2012damage competition of the XLIV Annual Boulder Damage Symposium.For the larger-aperture mirror and polarizer,the LIDT is above 23 J cm 2(1064 nm,3 ns)and 14 J cm 2(1064 nm,3 ns),respectively.The reflected wavefront is less thanλ/3(λ=633 nm)at the used angle.Hongji Qi Meipin Zhu Ming Fang Shuying Shao Chaoyang Wei Kui Yi Jianda Shao 2013High Power Laser Science and Engineering2013,1,1:2
6Temporal variation of major nutrients and probabilistic eutrophication evaluation based on stochastic-fuzzy method in Honghu Lake, Middle China显示文摘Honghu Lake, which is listed in the Ramsar Convention, was found to be contaminated with elevated nutrients to a certain extent.This study investigated the seasonal variation of major nutrients and probabilistic eutrophic state in surface water from Honghu Lake. Average concentrations of total nitrogen(TN), total phosphorus(TP), chlorophyll-a(Chl-a), chemical oxygen demand(COD_(Mn)) and transparency(SD) in summer and winter generally exceeded Grade III of the Chinese environmental quality standards for surface water(GB 3838-2002), with the exception of COD_(Mn)in winter. Mean concentrations of Chl-a and COD_(Mn) in summer were higher than that in winter, while mean concentrations of TN, TP and SD were slightly higher in winter. The improved probabilistic comprehensive trophic level index(PTLI) method based on stochastic-fuzzy theory was established to evaluate the eutrophic state in Honghu Lake. Compared with the Monte-Carlo sampling method, the Latin Hypercube sampling(LH-TFN) method was selected for the evaluation simulation due to its efficiency and stability. Evaluation results indicated that mean PTLI in summer(69.70) and winter(61.96) were both subordinated to Grade IV(Medium eutrophication). The corresponding reliability of eutrophication level subordinating to Grade IV in summer was of relatively low reliability(51.27%),which might mislead decision makers to some extent and suggest recheck. The probabilistic eutrophication level in summer developed with a trend from medium to severe eutrophication. Sensitivity analysis illustrated that COD_(Mn)and Chl-a were the priority pollutants in summer, with the contributions to PTLI of 43.3% and 22.5% respectively. 7A novel three primers PCR (TP-PCR) method to obtain recombinant DNA molecule independent of restriction enzyme显示文摘In this note, we report a novel and efficient three primers PCR (TP-PCR) method to rapidly generate recombinant DNA molecule at precise junction between two arbitrary DNA fragments. TP-PCR method is characterized by its reaction system with two templates and three primers, which can produce a recombinant DNA molecule in one PCR reaction. The main advantages of this method are the independence of sequences at the recombination site, the rapid-ness, and the easy establishment of adequate conditions. 8Structural and optical properties of Dy^(3+):YAlO3 phosphors for yellow light-emitting diode applications显示文摘The spectroscopic properties of a series of Dy^(3+)single-doped and Dy^(3+)/Nd^(3+),Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+),and Dy^(3+)/Tm^(3+)co-doped YAlO_(3)(yttrium aluminum perovskite,YAP)phosphors were investigated and compared through the measurements of optical absorption,emission spectra,and fluorescence decay curves.For the Dy^(3+)ion single-doped samples,the intensity of each absorption band increases with an increment in Dy^(3+)ion doping concentration,and the identified strong absorption peak at 447 nm indicates that Dy^(3+):YAP phosphors are suitable to be pumped by a blue laser diode(LD).For all co-doped samples,absorption peaks of Dy^(3+)ion along with some of the absorption bands of Nd^(3+),Tb^(3+),and Tm^(3+)ions are observed.Under 351 and 447 nm excitation,a prominent emission peak at 572 nm was obtained in all the samples,corresponding to Dy^(3+):^(4)F_(9/2)→^(6)H_(13/2)transition.Here,2 at%Dy^(3+):YAP phosphor exhibits the highest yellow emission intensity under 447 nm pumping.Among the three kinds of Dy^(3+)co-doped phosphors,Dy^(3+)/Tb^(3+):YAP phosphor possesses the dominant yellow emission.The fluorescence decay curves show exponential behaviour and are fitted well.The Commission International de L’Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity coordinates were calculated following the respective emission spectra,and it is found that all the coordinates locate in the yellow region.The energy transfer(ET)processes were investigated and the concentration quenching mechanism was discussed.The obtained results suggest that Dy^(3+)-activated YAP phosphors are good candidates for yellow LED applications.Yingshu Lian Yan Wang Jianfu Li Zhaojie Zhu Zhenyu You Chaoyang Tu Yadong Xu Wanqi Jie 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,8:2

11Understanding the macroscopical flexibility/fragility of nanoporous Ag:Depending on network connectivity and micro-defects显示文摘The effective engineering applications of nanoporous metals(NPMs)in flexible energy storage and wearable healthcare biosensor monitoring require its uniform ligaments network,specifically crack-free and flexible monolithic bodies.However,the macroscopic fragility of NPMs restricts their applications in wearable electronics fields.Here we focus on the synthetization of highly flexible NPMs.The effects of structural factors,e.g.ligament-network connectivity and micro-cracks on the mechanical properties of nanoporous Ag(np Ag)are investigated.The well-interconnected np Ag metal exhibits higher tensile strength,nanohardness and Vickers hardness than those for the ill-interconnected np Ag metal.The quality of the network connectivity dominates the strength and hardness of the np Ag.The flexibility/fragility is determined by the micro-crack in np Ag.The crack-free np Ag exhibits good flexible behavior.When micro-cracks are introduced,the np Ag becomes fragile.The control of soft volume shrinkage rate(Vsr)and slow surface diffusivity(Ds)effectively suppresses the crack initiation and propagation of as-formed np Ag.These results provide useful insights to synthesize more flexible and crack-free NPM materials for effective use in public wearable electronics and diverse flexible engineering applications in the future.Chaoyang Wang Shengli Zhu Yanqin Liang Zhenduo Cui Shuilin Wu Chunling Qin Shuiyuan Luo Akihisa Inoue 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,52,18:1

14Transceiver Optimization for Multi-Antenna Device-to-Device Communications显示文摘It has been shown that the deployment of device-to-device(D2D) communication in cellular systems can provide better support for local services. However, improper design of the hybrid system may cause severe interference between cellular and D2D links. In this paper, we consider transceiver design for the system employing multiple antennas to mitigate the interference. The precoder and decoder matrices are optimized in terms of sum mean squared error(MSE) and capacity, respectively. For the MSE minimization problem, we present an alternative transceiver optimization algorithm. While for the non-convex capacity maximization problem, we decompose the primal problem into a sequence of standard convex quadratic programs for efficient optimization. 18Analysis of oil shedding and ligaments formation on bearing rotary elements显示文摘For designing efficient lubrication system of an aeroengine bearing chamber,sufficient knowledge on oil/air two-phase flow characteristics is required.When analyzing bearing chamber two-phase flow,the essential prerequisite is quantifying the oil ligaments,which are detached from bearing rotary elements and shed into the bearing chamber.Related investigations are mainly targeted at liquid shedding on the rotating disk as opposed to the bearing rotary elements.Moreover,the research based on bearing rotary elements is conducted by experiment.Due to the limited operating conditions,experimental studies cannot guide engineering applications.To overcome these limitations,a theoretical model is established in this paper,for revealing the mechanism of oil shedding from bearing rotary elements and quantifying the shedding ligaments.The theoretical model is validated against experimental results from classical studies.In addition,the correlation for shedding ligaments number based on aeroengine bearing structural and operational parameters is obtained via theoretical analysis.The analytical results demonstrate that oil shedding and ligaments formation appear at the edge of bearing inner race outer-periphery.The number of shedding ligaments increases with the rise of shaft rotational speed while decreases with the growth of oil viscosity.Donglei ZHU Guoding CHEN Yanjun LI Chaoyang ZHANG Lin WANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,2:0
19Large transverse thermoelectric figure of merit in a topological Dirac semimetal显示文摘The Seebeck effect encounters a few fundamental constraints hindering its thermoelectric(TE)conversion efficiency.Most notably,there are the charge compensation of electrons and holes that diminishes this effect,and the Wiedemann-Franz(WF)law that makes independent optimization of the corresponding electrical and thermal conductivities impossible.Here,we demonstrate that in the topological Dirac semimetal Cd3As2 the Nernst effect,i.e.,the transverse counterpart of the Seebeck effect,can generate a large TE figure of merit zNT.At room temperature,zNT≈0.5 in a small field of 2 T and it significantly surmounts its longitudinal counterpart for any field.A large Nernst effect is generically expected in topological semimetals,benefiting from both the bipolar transport of compensated electrons and holes and their high mobilities.In this case,heat and charge transport are orthogonal,i.e.,not intertwined by the WF law anymore.More importantly,further optimization of zNT by tuning the Fermi level to the Dirac node can be anticipated due to not only the enhanced bipolar transport,but also the anomalous Nernst effect arising from a pronounced Berry curvature.A combination of the topologically trivial and nontrivial advantages promises to open a new avenue towards high-efficient transverse thermoelectricity.JunSen Xiang SiLe Hu Meng Lyu WenLiang Zhu ChaoYang Ma ZiYu Chen Frank Steglich GenFu Chen PeiJie Sun 2020Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2020,63,3:0
