| 2 | Could CMIP6 climate models reproduce the early-2000s global warming slowdown?显示文摘The unexpected global warming slowdown during 1998–2013 challenges the existing scientific understanding of global temperature change mechanisms,and thus the simulation and prediction ability of state-of-the-art climate models since most models participating in phase 5 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP5)cannot simulate it.Here,we examine whether the new-generation climate models in CMIP6 can reproduce the recent global warming slowdown,and further evaluate their capacities for simulating key-scale natural variabilities which are the most likely causes of the slowdown.The results show that although the CMIP6 models present some encouraging improvements when compared with CMIP5,most of them still fail to reproduce the warming slowdown.They considerably overestimate the warming rate observed in 1998–2013,exhibiting an obvious warming acceleration rather than the observed deceleration.This is probably associated with their deficiencies in simulating the distinct temperature change signals from the human-induced long-term warming trend and/or the three crucial natural variabilities at interannual,interdecadal,and multidecadal scales.In contrast,the 4 models that can successfully reproduce the slowdown show relatively high skills in simulating the long-term warming trend and the three keyscale natural variabilities.Our work may provide important insight for the simulation and prediction of near-term climate changes. | Meng WEI Qi SHU Zhenya SONG Yajuan SONG Xiaodan YANG Yongqing GUO Xinfang LI Fangli QIAO | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,6: | 5 |
| 3 | Low-Temperature Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO with NH_3 over Fe–Ce–O_x Catalysts显示文摘In this study,we used a simple impregnation method to prepare Fe-Ce-O_x catalysts and tested them regarding their low-temperature(200-300 ℃) selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NO using NH_3.We investigated the effects of Fe/Ce molar ratio,the gas hourly space velocity(GHSV),the stability and SO_2/H_2O resistance of the catalysts.The results showed that the FeCe(1:6)O_x(Ce/Fe molar ratio is 1:6) catalyst,which has some ordered parallel channels,exhibited good SCR performance.The FeCe(1:6)O_x catalyst had the highest NO conversion with an activity of 94-99%at temperatures between 200 and300 ℃ at a space velocity of 28,800 h^(-1).The NO conversion for the FeCe(1:6)O_x catalyst also reached 80-98%between 200 and 300 ℃ at a space velocity of204,000h^(-1).In addition,the FeCe(1:6)O_x catalyst demonstrated good stability in a 10-h SCR reaction at200-300 ℃.Even in the presence of SO_2 and H_2O,the FeCe(1:6)O_x catalyst exhibited good SCR performance. | Yan Sun Ying Guo Wei Su Yajuan Wei | 2017 | Transactions of Tianjin University2017,23,1: | 5 |
| 4 | Biodegradable metals for bone defect repair:A systematic review and meta-analysis based on animal studies显示文摘Biodegradable metals are promising candidates for bone defect repair.With an evidence-based approach,this study investigated and analyzed the performance and degradation properties of biodegradable metals in animal models for bone defect repair to explore their potential clinical translation.Animal studies on bone defect repair with biodegradable metals in comparison with other traditional biomaterials were reviewed.Data was carefully collected after identification of population,intervention,comparison,outcome,and study design(PICOS),and following the inclusion criteria of biodegradable metals in animal studies.30 publications on pure Mg,Mg alloys,pure Zn and Zn alloys were finally included after extraction from a collected database of 2543 publications.A qualitative systematic review and a quantitative meta-analysis were performed.Given the heterogeneity in animal model,anatomical site and critical size defect(CSD),biodegradable metals exhibited mixed effects on bone defect repair and degradation in animal studies in comparison with traditional non-degradable metals,biodegradable polymers,bioceramics,and autogenous bone grafts.The results indicated that there were limitations in the experimental design of the included studies,and quality of the evidence presented by the studies was very low.To enhance clinical translation of biodegradable metals,evidence-based research with data validity is needed.Future studies should adopt standardized experimental protocols in investigating the effects of biodegradable metals on bone defect repair with animal models. | Jiazhen Zhang Yanbiao Jiang Zhizhong Shang Bing Zhao Mingyue Jiao Wenbo Liu Maobo Cheng Bao Zhai Yajuan Guo Bin Liu Xinli Shi Bin Ma | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,11: | 5 |

| 7 | miR-7/TGF-β2 axis sustains acidic tumor microenvironment-induced lung cancer metastasis显示文摘Acidosis,regardless of hypoxia involvement,is recognized as a chronic and harsh tumor microenvironment(TME)that educates malignant cells to thrive and metastasize.Although overwhelming evidence supports an acidic environment as a driver or ubiquitous hallmark of cancer progression,the unrevealed core mechanisms underlying the direct effect of acidification on tumorigenesis have hindered the discovery of novel therapeutic targets and clinical therapy.Here,chemical-induced and transgenic mouse models for colon,liver and lung cancer were established,respectively.miR-7 and TGF-β2 expressions were examined in clinical tissues(n=184).RNA-seq,miRNA-seq,proteomics,biosynthesis analyses and functional studies were performed to validate the mechanisms involved in the acidic TME-induced lung cancer metastasis.Our data show that lung cancer is sensitive to the increased acidification of TME,and acidic TME-induced lung cancer metastasis via inhibition of miR-7-5 p.TGF-β2 is a direct target of miR-7-5 p.The reduced expression of miR-7-5 p subsequently increases the expression of TGF-β2 which enhances the metastatic potential of the lung cancer.Indeed,overexpression of miR-7-5 p reduces the acidic p H-enhanced lung cancer metastasis.Furthermore,the human lung tumor samples also show a reduced miR-7-5 p expression but an elevated level of activated TGF-β2;the expressions of both miR-7-5 p and TGF-β2 are correlated with patients’survival.We are the first to identify the role of the miR-7/TGF-β2 axis in acidic p H-enhanced lung cancer metastasis.Our study not only delineates how acidification directly affects tumorigenesis,but also suggests miR-7 is a novel reliable biomarker for acidic TME and a novel therapeutic target for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)treatment.Our study opens an avenue to explore the p H-sensitive subcellular components as novel therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. | Tao Su Suchao Huang Yanmin Zhang Yajuan Guo Shuwei Zhang Jiaji Guan Mingjing Meng Linxin Liu Caiyan Wang Dihua Yu Hiu-Yee Kwan Zhiying Huang Qiuju Huang Elaine Lai-Han Leung Ming Hu Ying Wang Zhongqiu Liu Linlin Lu | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2: | 2 |

| 10 | Geochemistry and Geochronology of the Cenozoic Zhalaga Granitoids of the Yulong Alkali-rich Porphyry Belt in Eastern Tibet(Xizang), SW China: Petrogenesis and Tectonic Implications显示文摘Large-scale Cenozoic magmatic rocks from the interplay between the Indian and Eurasian plate are exposed in the Yulong porphyry copper belt in the northern Jinshajiang-Ailaoshan domain.Alkali-rich magmas along the Yulong porphyry copper belt can reveal the tectono-magmatic processes in the Sanjiang region.In this study,we present new zircon U-Pb-Hf isotopes and whole rock geochemistry of Cenozoic granitoids from the Zhalaga area in the northern Yulong porphyry copper belt.The Zircon U-Pb dating results show that the Zhalaga granitic porphyry crystallized at ca.42-38 Ma.These porphyry deposits are depleted in Nb,Ta,Sr,and Ti enriched in alkaline and rare earth elements(REEs),and exhibit high zircon saturation temperatures,that strongly indicate A-type affinity.These data and the generally positiveεHf(t)values(2.0-4.5)suggest the magmas originated from a hybrid of partial melting of subduction-modified lithospheric mantle,possibly triggered by upwelling of the asthenospheric mantle.Geochronological and geochemical data of the current and previous studies distinguish three magmatic phases during the Cenozoic in the Jinshajiang-Ailaoshan region:(1)ca.62-48 Ma;(2)ca.44-30 Ma;and(3)ca.28-16 Ma.The strong collision between the Indian and Eurasian plates produced relatively fast convergence rates during the first episode(ca.62-48 Ma),whereas the subsequent right-lateral strike-slip faulting in the Jinshajiang fault zone initiated at ca.43 Ma is associated with the relatively low India-Eurasia convergence rates during ca.44-30 Ma.These significantly impacted the nature and spatial distribution of the magmatism and the large-scale metallogeny during the Cenozoic in the Sanjiang region.We suggest that the Zhalaga alkali-rich magmas occurred in a transition period from involving soft to hard collisional settings.This remarkable example demonstrates that alkali-rich magmas with A-type affinity are also generated in an orogenic tectonic setting. | XU Chi YUAN Yajuan XIAO Yang GUO Feng XIA Bin LU Ye | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,6: | 1 |

The precoder and decoder matrices are optimized in terms of sum mean squared error(MSE) and capacity, respectively. For the MSE minimization problem, we present an alternative transceiver optimization algorithm. While for the non-convex capacity maximization problem, we decompose the primal problem into a sequence of standard convex quadratic programs for efficient optimization. | 18 | TRAF3 activates STING-mediated suppression of EV-A71 and target of viral evasion显示文摘Innate immunity represents one of the main host responses to viral infection.1,2,3 STING(Stimulator of interferon genes),a crucial immune adapter functioning in host cells,mediates cGAS(Cyclic GMP-AMP Synthase)sensing of exogenous and endogenous DNA fragments and generates innate immune responses.4 Whether STING activation was involved in infection and replication of enterovirus remains largely unknown.In the present study,we discovered that human enterovirus A71(EV-A71)infection triggered STING activation in a cGAS dependent manner.EV-A71 infection caused mitochondrial damage and the discharge of mitochondrial DNA into the cytosol of infected cells.However,during EV-A71 infection,cGAS-STING activation was attenuated.EV-A71 ^(pro)teins were screened and the viral ^(pro)tease 2A^(pro) had the greatest capacity to inhibit cGAS-STING activation.We identified TRAF3 as an important factor during STING activation and as a target of 2A^(pro).Supplement of TRAF3 rescued cGAS-STING activation suppression by 2A^(pro).TRAF3 supported STING activation mediated TBK1 phosphorylation.Moreover,we found that 2A^(pro) ^(pro)tease activity was essential for inhibiting STING activation.Furthermore,EV-D68 and CV-A16 infection also triggered STING activation.The viral ^(pro)tease 2A^(pro) from EV-D68 and CV-A16 also had the ability to inhibit STING activation.As STING activation prior to EV-A71 infection generated cellular resistance to EV-A71 replication,blocking EV-A71-mediated STING suppression represents a new anti-viral target. | Wenwen Zheng Zhenbang Zhou Yajuan Rui Runxin Ye Fengyan Xia Fei Guo Xiaoman Liu Jiaming Su Meng Lou Xiao-Fang Yu | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,3: | 0 |

| 20 | PARK1 gene mutation of autosomal dominant Parkinson's disease family显示文摘Studies have shown that PARK1 gene is associated with the autosomal dominant inheritance of Parkinson’s disease. PARK1 gene contains two mutation sites, namely Ala30Pro and Ala53Thr, which are located on exons 3 and 4, respectively. However, the genetic loci of the pathogenic genes remain unclear. In this study, blood samples were collected from 11 members of a family with high prevalence of Parkinson’s disease, including four affected cases, five suspected cases, and two non-affected cases. Point mutation screening of common mutation sites on PARK1 gene exon 4 was conducted using PCR, to determine the genetic loci of the causative gene for Parkinson’s disease. Gene identification and sequencing results showed that a T base deletion mutation was observed in the PARK1 gene exon 4 of all 11 collected samples.
