1Surface Oxygen Injection in Tin Disulfide Nanosheets for Efficient CO_(2) Electroreduction to Formate and Syngas显示文摘Surface chemistry modification represents a promising strategy to tailor the adsorption and activation of reaction intermediates for enhancing activity.Herein,we designed a surface oxygen-injection strategy to tune the electronic structure of SnS_(2) nanosheets,which showed effectively enhanced electrocatalytic activity and selectivity of CO_(2) reduction to formate and syngas(CO and H_(2)).The oxygen-injection SnS_(2) nanosheets exhibit a remarkable Faradaic efficiency of 91.6%for carbonaceous products with a current density of 24.1 mA cm^(−2) at−0.9 V vs RHE,including 83.2%for formate production and 16.5%for syngas with the CO/H_(2) ratio of 1:1.By operando X-ray absorption spectroscopy,we unravel the in situ surface oxygen doping into the matrix during reaction,thereby optimizing the Sn local electronic states.Operando synchrotron radiation infrared spectroscopy along with theoretical calculations further reveals that the surface oxygen doping facilitated the CO_(2) activation and enhanced the affinity for HCOO*species.This result demonstrates the potential strategy of surface oxygen injection for the rational design of advanced catalysts for CO_(2) electroreduction.Tao Chen Tong Liu Tao Ding Beibei Pang Lan Wang Xiaokang Liu Xinyi Shen Sicong Wang Dan Wu Dong Liu Linlin Cao Qiquan Luo Wei Zhang Wenkun Zhu Tao Yao 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,11:3
2Regulation of sister chromatid cohesion by nuclear PD-L1显示文摘Programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1 or B7-H1)is well known for its role in immune checkpoint regulation,but its function inside the tumor cells has rarely been explored.Here we report that nuclear PD-L1 is important for cancer cell sister chromatid cohesion.We found that depletion of PD-L1 suppresses cancer cell proliferation,colony formation in vitro,and tumor growth in vivo in immune-deficient NSG mice independent of its role in immune checkpoint.Specifically,PD-L1 functions as a subunit of the cohesin complex,and its deficiency leads to formation of multinucleated cells and causes a defect in sister chromatid cohesion.Mechanistically,PD-L1 compensates for the loss of Sororin,whose expression is suppressed in cancer cells overexpressing PD-L1.PD-L1 competes with Wing Apart-Like(WAPL)for binding to PDS5B,and secures proper sister chromatid cohesion and segregation.Our findings suggest an important role for nuclear PD-L1 in cancer cells independent of its function in immune checkpoint.Jia Yu Bo Qin Ann MMoyer Somaira Nowsheen Xinyi Tu Haidong Dong Judy CBoughey Matthew PGoetz Richard Weinshilboum Zhenkun Lou Liewei Wang 2020Cell Research2020,30,7:3
3A comprehensive analysis of the Bencao(herbal)small RNA Atlas reveals novel RNA therapeutics for treating human diseases显示文摘Cross-kingdom herbal mi RNA was first reported in 2012.Using a modified herbal extraction protocol,we obtained 73,677,287sequences by RNA-seq from 245 traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),of which 20,758,257 were unique sequences.We constructed a Bencao(herbal)small RNA(s RNA)Atlas(http://gffzz4a3adbfa122d4a47ho0ofcwv9v55v6bbv.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn),annotated the sequences by sequence-based clustering,and created a nomenclature system for Bencao s RNAs.The profiles of 21,757 mi RNAs in the Atlas were highly consistent with those of plant mi RNAs in mi RBase.Using software tools,our results demonstrated that all human genes might be regulated by s RNAs from the Bencao s RNA Atlas,part of the predicted human target genes were experimentally validated,suggesting that Bencao s RNAs might be one of the main bioactive components of herbal medicines.We established roadmaps for oligonucleotide drugs development and optimization of TCM prescriptions.Moreover,the decoctosome,a lipo-nano particle consisting of 0.5%–2.5%of the decoction,demonstrated potent medical effects.We propose a Bencao(herbal)Index,including small-molecule compounds(SM),protein peptides(P),nucleic acid(N),non-nucleic and non-proteinogenic large-molecule compounds(LM)and elements from Mendeleev's periodic table(E),to quantitatively measure the medical effects of botanic medicine.The Bencao s RNA Atlas is a resource for developing gene-targeting oligonucleotide drugs and optimizing botanical medicine,and may provide potential remedies for the theory and practice of one medicine.Yinghao Cao Yexuan Lin Na Sun Xinyi Du Yixin Dong Song Mei Xingyu Deng Xiaobei Li Shaoting Guo Kegong Tang Jiaqi Liu Xiangyu Qiao Dandan Zhao Yuhao Qin Cong Zhang Tianyi Xin Xiaohu Shi Congzhao Zhou Tao Dong De-an Guo Benedikt MKessler Dong Xu Jingyuan Song Fengming Huang Xiaoyue Wang Chengyu Jiang 2023Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,10:2
4Functional delivery vehicle of organic nanoparticles in inorganic crystals显示文摘Encapsulation of bioactive substances for extended shelf life and controlled,targeted release is critical for their applications in food and drug delivery.Here,a new method has been developed to encapsulate bioactive molecules in the crystal composites,showing greatly enhanced stability and unique pHtriggered response.Chlorophyll,a model bioactive,is first loaded in shellac nanoparticles via coprecipitation with a high encapsulation efficiency,and then the chlorophyll-loaded nanoparticles are incorporated into calcite crystals grown from a gel media containing the nanoparticles.Under the protection of shellac nanoparticles and calcite crystals,chlorophyll shows excellent stability even under light.Encapsulated chlorophyll could only be released by first dissolving the calcite crystals under acidic condition and then dissolving the shellac nanoparticles under alkaline condition.The unique pHtriggered release mimics the pH change from acidic in the stomach to alkaline in the intestine and is thus well suited for controlled,targeted intestinal release.This work suggests that the crystal composites are an ideal delivery vehicle for the functional design of bioactive molecules.Linlin Kong Xinyi Jin Dapeng Hu Leyun Feng Dong Chen Hanying Li 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:2
5Investigation of hemostatic effect of Spleeninvigorating,Qi-replenishing and Bloodarresting Formula on simvastatin-induced zebrafish hemorrhage model显示文摘Blood-arresting Formula on simvastatin-induced zebrafish hemorrhage model compared with that of the Heat-clearing and Blood-cooling Formula.Methods:AB strain wild type zebrafish were treated with 0.5 mM simvastatin for 24 hours to establish the zebrafish hemorrhage model.Under strictly blind experimental conditions,the zebrafish were then treated with experimental agents in different concentration within the maximum non-lethal dose.The intervention effect of the Spleen-invigorating,Qi-replenishing and Blood-arresting Formula was comprehensively assessed by examining the main observational parameters such as the bleeding reduction rate and hemostatic rate while referring to the additional parameters such as blood flow,improvement rate of blood flow,velocity of movement,improvement rate of motion under spleen-qi deficiency.Results:Hemostatic effect:The bleeding rate and hemostatic rate in the zebrafish were respectively,30%,15%,45%,40%and 60%,80%,40%,47%when equal concentration of 500 mg/mL,1000 mg/mL were used.This showed that the experimental herbs B1 was superior to B2 in decreasing the bleeding rate and improving hemostatic effect in the zebrafish.Improvement of blood flow:With equal concentration,the experimental herb B1 was superior to B2 in increasing the blood flow and improvement rate of blood flow in hemorrhagic zebrafish.Promotion of the improvement of motion:With equal concentration of 500 mg/mL and 1000 mg/mL,the experimental herb B1 was superior to B2 in promoting the velocity of motion in the zebrafish and promoting the improvement rate of motion.Conclusion:The manifestations of simvastatin-induced zebrafish hemorrhage are basically similar to that of failure of the spleen to control blood in human beings.The Spleeninvigorating,Qi-replenishing and Blood-arresting Formula has good hemostatic effect on simvastatin-induced hemorrhage in the zebrafish.It also boasts the functions of improving blood flow and velocity of motion in the hemorrhagic zebrafish.Such a conclusion provides the experimental basis for the treatment of the syndrome of failure of the spleen to control blood by this formula.Yuting Chu Ling Zhang Xiaoyu Zhu Yayue Zhang Bo Xia Li Hou Rushun Song Tiantian Li Chunqi Li Qing Dong a Xinyi Chen 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,4:1

7Sustainability of SARS-CoV-2 Induced Humoral Immune Responses in COVID-19 Patients from Hospitalization to Convalescence Over Six Months显示文摘Understanding the persistence of antibody in convalescent COVID-19 patients may help to answer the current major concerns such as the risk of reinfection,the protection period of vaccination and the possibility of building an active herd immunity.This retrospective cohort study included 172 COVID-19 patients who were hospitalized in Wuhan.A total of404 serum samples were obtained over six months from hospitalization to convalescence.Antibodies in the specimens were quantitatively analyzed by the capture chemiluminescence immunoassays(CLIA).All patients were positive for the anti-SARS-Co V-2 Ig M/Ig G at the onset of COVID-19 symptoms,and the Ig G antibody persisted in all the patients during the convalescence.However,only approximately 25%of patients can detect the Ig M antibodies,Ig M against N protein(NIg M)and receptor binding domain of S protein(RBD-Ig M)at the 27 th week.The titers of Ig M,N-Ig M and RBD-Ig M reduced to 16.7%,17.6%and 15.2%of their peak values respectively.In contrast,the titers of Ig G,N-Ig G and RBD-Ig G peaked at 4–5 th week and reduced to 85.9%,62.6%and 87.2%of their peak values respectively at the end of observation.Dynamic behavior of antibodies and their correlation in age,gender and severity groups were investigated.In general,the COVID-19 antibody was sustained at high levels for over six months in most of the convalescent patients.Only a few patients with antibody reducing to an undetectable level which needs further attention.The humoral immune response against SARS-Co V-2 infection in COVID-19 patients exhibits a typical dynamic of acquired immunity.Yang Zheng Qing Zhang Ashaq Ali Ke Li Nan Shao Xiaoli Zhou Zhiqin Ye Xiaomin Chen Shanshan Cao Jing Cui Juan Zhou Dianbing Wang Baidong Hou Min Li Mengmeng Cui Lihua Deng Xinyi Sun Qian Zhang Qinfang Yang Yong li Hui Wang Yake Lei Bo Yu Yegang Cheng Xiaolin Tong Dong Men Xian-En Zhang 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,5:1

11Development and validation of InDel markers for identification of QTL underlying flowering time in soybean显示文摘Soybean [Glycine max(L.) Merrill] is a major plant source of protein and oil. An accurate and well-saturated molecular linkage map is a prerequisite for forward genetic studies of gene function and for modern breeding for many useful agronomic traits. Next-generation sequence data available in public databases provides valuable information and offers new insights for rapid and efficient development of molecular markers. In this study, we attempted to show the feasibility and facility of using genomic resequencing data as raw material for identifying putative In Del markers. First, we identified 17,613 In Del sites among 56 soybean accessions and obtained 12,619 primer pairs. Second, we constructed a genetic map with a random subset of 2841 primer pairs and aligned 300 polymorphic markers with the 20 consensus linkage groups(LG). The total genetic distance was 2347.3 c M and the number of mapped markers per LG ranged from 10 to 23 with an average of 15 markers. The largest and smallest genetic distances between adjacent markers were 52.3 c M and 0.1 cM, respectively. Finally, we validated the genetic map constructed by newly developed In Del markers by QTL analysis of days to flowering(DTF) under different environments. One major QTL(qDTF4) and four minor QTL(qDTF20, qDTF13, qDTF12,and q DTF11) on 5 LGs were detected. 12Visualizing Aβdeposits in live young AD model mice with a simple red/near-infrared-fluorescent AIEgen显示文摘Precise and early detection ofβ-amyloid(Aβ)deposits in situ and in real time is pivotal to the diagnosis and early intervention of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Optical imaging stands out to be a promising technique for such a task;however,it still remains a big challenge,due to the lack of high-performance imaging contrast agent.Restricted by poor blood-brain barrier(BBB)penetrability,short-wavelength excitation and emission,as well as the aggregation-caused quenching effect,the widely used goldstandard probes cannot be used for early in-vivo imaging of Aβdeposits.Herein,we integrate the Aβdeposits-favored geometry,amphiphilic and zwitterionic molecular structure,extended D-π-A electronic structure,and 3 D conformation into one molecule,facilely establishing a simple and economic imaging contrast agent that enjoys high specificity and affinity to Aβdeposits,good BBB penetrability,bright red/near-infrared fluorescence,low interference from autofluorescence,aggregation-induced emission(AIE)feature,high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),and high contrast.In-vitro,ex-vivo,and in-vivo experiments with different strains of mice indicate that AIE-CNPy-AD holds the universality to Aβdeposits identification.Noteworthily,AIE-CNPy-AD is even able to precisely trace the small and sparsely-distributed Aβdeposits in AD model mice as young as 4-month-old APP/PS1 mice,the youngest having Aβdeposits.Moreover,the present probe could clearly reveal the increase and enlargement of Aβdeposits as the mice grow.Therefore,AIE-CNPy-AD might be an ideal alternative for early AD diagnosis and highly reliable monitoring of AD progression.Yipu Wang Dong Mei Xinyi Zhang Da-Hui Qu Ju Mei 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,2:1

15Novel computer-assisted approach to quick prediction and optimization of gradient separation for online enrichment-reversed phase liquid chromatography tandem system显示文摘An algorithm capable of predicting and optimizing the gradient separation of LC×LC system was developed in this paper.Two groups of structural analogues,five ginsenosides as well as eight bisphenols,which were difficult to discriminate in routine analysis,were used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in fast separation optimization.Average errors of retention times below 1%were found in the retention prediction for all types of gradient programs,implying that the theory could lead to high quality in prediction of the retention times under gradients elution.Meanwhile,84%of relative average deviations(RADs)between the predicted peak width and the measured ones were less than 20%.The larger deviation occurred at the time when the peak appeared while the gradient of the mobile phase changed,which led the deviations increased to 20%–42%.In all,method development and optimization for LC×LC tandem system was realized by the homemade user-friendly software.The present protocol may turn on great opportunities for the convenient method development in analysis of trace structural analogues in environmental,food and biological samples.Shuying Han Yilin Song Xinyi Jiang Junqin Qiao An Kang Haishan Deng Dong Zhu Rui Liu Hongzhen Lian 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,9:0
16Accurate modulation of photoprinting under stiffness imaging feedback for engineering ECMs with high-fidelity mechanical properties显示文摘Engineered extracellular matrices(ECMs)that replicate complex in-vivo features have shown great potential in tissue engineering.Biocompatible hydrogel microstructures have been widely used to replace these native ECMs for physiologically relevant research.However,accurate reproduction of the 3D hierarchical and nonuniform mechanical stffness inside one integrated microstructure to mimic the complex mechanical properties of native ECMs presents a major challenge.Here,by using digital holographic microscopy(DHM)-based stffness imaging feedback,we propose a novel closed-loop control algorithm to achieve high-accuracy control of mechanical properties for hydrogel microstructures that recapitulate the physiological properties of native ECMs with high fidelity.During photoprinting,the photocuring area of the hydrogel is divided into microscale grid areas to locally control the photocuring process.With the assistance of a motorized microfluidic channel,the curing thickness is controlled with layer-by-layer stacking.The DHM-based stiffness imaging feedback allows accurate adjustment of the photocuring degree in every grid area to change the crosslinking network density of the hydrogel,thus enabling large-span and high-resolution modulation of mechanical properties.Finally,the gelatin methacrylate was used as a typical biomaterial to construct the highfidelity biomimetic ECMs.The Young's modulus could be flexibly modulated in the 10 kPa to 50 kPa range.Additionally,the modulus gradient was accurately controlled to within 2.9 kPa.By engineering ECM with locally different mechanical properties,cell spreading along the stff areas was observed successfully.We believe that this method can regenerate complex biomimetic ECMs that closely recapitulate in-vivo mechanical properties for further applications in tissue engineering and biomedical research.Xin Li Huaping Wang Xinyi Dong Qing Shi Tao Sun Shingo Shimoda Qiang Huang Toshio Fukuda 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,3:0

20Role-based Bayesian decision framework for autonomous unmanned systems显示文摘In the process of performing a task,autonomous unmanned systems face the problem of scene changing,which requires the ability of real-time decision-making under dynamically changing scenes.Therefore,taking the unmanned system coordinative region control operation as an example,this paper combines knowledge representation with probabilistic decisionmaking and proposes a role-based Bayesian decision model for autonomous unmanned systems that integrates scene cognition and individual preferences.Firstly,according to utility value decision theory,the role-based utility value decision model is proposed to realize task coordination according to the preference of the role that individual is assigned.Then,multi-entity Bayesian network is introduced for situation assessment,by which scenes and their uncertainty related to the operation are semantically described,so that the unmanned systems can conduct situation awareness in a set of scenes with uncertainty.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified in a virtual task scenario.This research has important reference value for realizing scene cognition,improving cooperative decision-making ability under dynamic scenes,and achieving swarm level autonomy of unmanned systems.PANG Weijian MA Xinyi LIANG Xueming LIU Xiaogang DONG Erwa 2023Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2023,34,6:0
