| 3 | Simulation of the Ising model, memory for Bell states and generation of four-atom entangled states in cavity QED显示文摘A scheme is proposed to simulate the Ising model and preserve the maximum entangled states (Bell states) in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) driven by a classical field with large detuning. In the strong driving and large-detuning regime, the effective Hamiltonian of the system is the same as the standard Ising model, and the scheme can also make the initial four Bell states of two atoms at the maximum entanglement all the time. So it is a simple memory for the maximal entangled states. The system is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field and more immune to decoherence. These advantages can warrant the experimental feasibility of the current scheme. Furthermore, the genuine four-atom entanglement may be acquired via two Bell states through one-step implementation on four two-level atoms in the strong-driven model, and when two Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states are prepared in our scheme, the entangled cluster state may be acquired easily. | 4 | Rh-doped PdAg nanoparticles as efficient methanol tolerance electrocatalytic materials for oxygen reduction显示文摘Direct methanol fuel cells(DMFCs)have received extensive attention on their high efficiency,high reliability,and no carbon emission.Unfortunately,the poor methanol tolerance and sluggish oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)at cathode have seriously hindered their further development.Herein we report the synthesis of a new class of Rh-doped PdAg alloy nanoparticles(NPs)for boosting ORR activity with high methanol tolerance capacity concurrently.The ORR mass activity of typical Rh_4Pd_(40)Ag_(56)NPs is 4.2 times higher than that of commercial Pt catalyst.Moreover,it shows a great methanol tolerance capability by maintaining 92.4%in ORR mass activity in alkaline solution with 0.1 mol L^(à1)methanol,against a big decrease of almost 100%for commercial Pt.Even after 30,000 potential cycles with 1.0 mol L^(à1)methanol,Rh_4Pd_(40)Ag_(56)NPs still retain ORR mass activity of up to 68.3%.DFT calculations reveal that excellent ORR performance with excellent methanol tolerance originates the active d-band-pinning engineering for an efficient site-independent electron-transfer.A generalized d-band mediated fine electron-transfer tuning path has blueprinted for effectively minimizing intrinsic ORR barriers with high current density.The present work highlights the key role of Rh doping in enhancing the ORR activity and methanol tolerance ability of PdAg NPs for future high-performance DMFCs. | Yingjun Sun Bolong Huang Nuoyan Xu Yingjie Li Mingchuan Luo Chunji Li Yingnan Qin Lei Wang Shaojun Guo | 2019 | Science Bulletin2019,64,1: | 4 |

| 7 | Comparative Assessment of Tundra Vegetation Changes Between North and Southwest Slopes of Changbai Mountains, China, in Response to Global Warming显示文摘Vegetation in high altitude areas normally exhibits the strongest response to global warming. We investigated the tundra vegetation on the Changbai Mountains and revealed the similarities and differences between the north and the southwest slopes of the Changbai Mountains in response to global warming. Our results were as follows: 1) The average temperatures in the growing season have increased from 1981 to 2015, the climate tendency rate was 0.38℃/10 yr, and there was no obvious change in precipitation observed. 2) The tundra vegetation of the Changbai Mountains has changed significantly over the last 30 years. Specifically, herbaceous plants have invaded into the tundra zone, and the proportion of herbaceous plants was larger than that of shrubs. Shrub tundra was transforming into shrub-grass tundra. 3) The tundra vegetation in the north and southwest slopes of the Changbai Mountains responded differently to global warming. The southwest slope showed a significantly higher degree of invasion from herbaceous plants and exhibited greater vegetation change than the north slope. 4) The species diversity of plant communities on the tundra zone of the north slope changed unimodally with altitude, while that on the tundra zone of the southwest slope decreased monotonously with altitude. Differences in the degree of invasion from herbaceous plants resulted in differences in species diversity patterns between the north and southwest slopes. | 10 | On the loss mechanisms of radiation belt electron dropouts during the 12 September 2014 geomagnetic storm显示文摘Radiation belt electron dropouts indicate electron flux decay to the background level during geomagnetic storms,which is commonly attributed to the effects of wave-induced pitch angle scattering and magnetopause shadowing.To investigate the loss mechanisms of radiation belt electron dropouts triggered by a solar wind dynamic pressure pulse event on 12 September 2014,we comprehensively analyzed the particle and wave measurements from Van Allen Probes.The dropout event was divided into three periods:before the storm,the initial phase of the storm,and the main phase of the storm.The electron pitch angle distributions(PADs)and electron flux dropouts during the initial and main phases of this storm were investigated,and the evolution of the radial profile of electron phase space density(PSD)and the(μ,K)dependence of electron PSD dropouts(whereμ,K,and L^*are the three adiabatic invariants)were analyzed.The energy-independent decay of electrons at L>4.5 was accompanied by butterfly PADs,suggesting that the magnetopause shadowing process may be the major loss mechanism during the initial phase of the storm at L>4.5.The features of electron dropouts and 90°-peaked PADs were observed only for>1 MeV electrons at L<4,indicating that the wave-induced scattering effect may dominate the electron loss processes at the lower L-shell during the main phase of the storm.Evaluations of the(μ,K)dependence of electron PSD drops and calculations of the minimum electron resonant energies of H+-band electromagnetic ion cyclotron(EMIC)waves support the scenario that the observed PSD drop peaks around L^*=3.9 may be caused mainly by the scattering of EMIC waves,whereas the drop peaks around L^*=4.6 may result from a combination of EMIC wave scattering and outward radial diffusion. | Xin Ma Zheng Xiang BinBin Ni Song Fu Xing Cao Man Hua DeYu Guo YingJie Guo XuDong Gu ZeYuan Liu Qi Zhu | 2020 | Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,6: | 2 |
| 11 | Electrical conductivities of two granite samples in southern Tibet and their geophysical implications显示文摘There are clear differences in the electrical conductivities of the crustal granites of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Because these granites are among the major rock types on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, it is very important to detect the electrical conductivity of granites under high temperatures and pressures to study the electrical conductivity structure of this area. Using impedance spectroscopy at a frequency range of 10.1–106 Hz, the electrical conductivity of the muscovite-granite collected from Yadong was investigated at a confining pressure of 1.0 GPa and temperatures ranging from 577 to 996 K, while the electrical conductivity of the biotite-granite collected from Lhasa was investigated at a pressure of 1.0 GPa and temperatures ranging from587 to 1382 K. The calculated activation enthalpies of the Yadong muscovite-granite sample is 0.92 eV in the low-temperature range(577–919 K) and 2.16 eV in the high-temperature range(919–996 K). The activation enthalpies of the Lhasa biotite-granite sample is 0.48 eV in the low-temperature range(587–990 K) and 2.06 eV in the high-temperature range(990–1382 K). The change in the activation enthalpies of the granites at different temperature ranges may be associated with the dehydration of the two samples. The electrical conductivities of the granite samples obtained in the laboratory using impedance spectroscopy correspond well with field observations conducted near the sampling points, both in terms of the actual conductivity values and the observed variations between the low-temperature and high-temperature regimes. This correlation of laboratory and field conductivities indicates that the conductivities of the crustal rocks in the two regions closely correspond to granite conductivities.We calculated the electrical conductivities of muscovite-granite and biotite-granite samples using the effective medium and HS boundary models. When applied to the crustal rocks of southern Tibet, the results of the geophysical conductivity profiles lie within the range of laboratory data. | 12 | Effects of typhoon Roke and Haitang on phytoplankton community structure in northeastern South China sea显示文摘The influence of typhoon and Kuroshio intrusion process on the natural phytoplankton assemblages in the northeastern South China Sea(neSCS)was examined during a cruise in summer 2017.One hundred ninety-six seawater samples were collected and analyzed in the neSCS.In total,299 species were identified belonging to 82 genera,mostly dominated by Bacillariophyta(159),followed by Dinophyta(132),Cyanophyta(4)and Chrysophyta(4).Among all,Thalassionema nitzschioides,Thalassionema frauenfeldii,Thalassiosira minima,in Bacillariophyta,Prorocentrum lenticulatum,Prorocentrum compressum in Dinophyta,and Trichodesmium thiebautii,in the Cyanophyta were the most dominated species,respectively.Correlation analysis shows compared with other groups Bacillariophyta was mostly influenced by silicate,whereas,Dinophyta and Cyanophyta showed significant correlation with temperature,salinity,phosphate,and nitrate.After the typhoon,the higher abundance of Dinophyta was observed,whereas it was lower in case of Bacillariophyta and Cyanophyta,shows typhoon“Roke“and”Haitang”had a significant influence on the phytoplankton assemblages,which could be manifested by the variations of total phytoplankton abundance in the surface water of neSCS.Overall,our present study provides the latest in-depth information about how the environmental factors influencing the phytoplankton density and diversity in the neSCS during summer. | Yingjie Mao Jun Sun Congcong Guo Yuqiu Wei Xingzhou Wang Shuang Yang Chao Wu | 2019 | Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2019,5,1: | 2 |

| 17 | Toward High Capacity and Stable SnO_(2)Hollow Nanosphere Electrode Materials:A Case Study of Ni-substituted Modification显示文摘To develop the urgent requirement for high-rate electrodes in next-generation lithium-ion batteries,SnO_(2)-based negative materials have been spotlighted as potential alternatives.However,the intrinsic problems,such as conspicuous volume variation and unremarkable conductivity,make the rate capability behave badly at a high-current density.Here,to solve these issues,this work demonstrate a new and facile strategy for synergistically enhancing their cyclic stability by combining the advantages of Ni doping and the fabrication of hollow nanosphere.Specifically,the incorporation of Ni^(2+)ions into the tetragonal rutile-type SnO_(2)shellsimproves the charge transfer kinetics effectively,leading to an excellent cycling stability.In addition,the growth of surface grains on the hollow nanospheres are restrained after Ni doping,which also reduces theunexpected polarization of negative electrodes.As a result,the as-prepared Ni doped electrode delivers a remarkable reversible capacity of 712 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)and exhibits outstanding capacity of 340 mAh g^(-1)at 1.6 A g^(-1),about 2.58 times higher than that of the pure SnO_(2)hollow sample. | Yannan ZHANG Peng DONG Yingjie ZHANG Hong GUO | 2021 | Research and Application of Materials Science2021,3,2: | 1 |
| 18 | Cholesterol-associated lysosomal disorder triggers cell death of hematological malignancy:Dynamic analysis on cytotoxic effects of LW-218显示文摘The integrity of lysosomes is of vital importance to survival of tumor cells.We demonstrated that LW-218,a synthetic flavonoid,induced rapid lysosomal enlargement accompanied with lysosomal membrane permeabilization in hematological malignancy.LW-218-induced lysosomal damage and lysosome-dependent cell death were mediated by cathepsin D,as the lysosomal damage and cell apoptosis could be suppressed by depletion of cathepsin D or lysosome alkalization agents,which can alter the activity of cathepsins.Lysophagy,was initiated for cell self-rescue after LW-218 treatment and correlated with calcium release and nuclei translocation of transcription factor EB.LW-218 treatment enhanced the expression of autophagy-related genes which could be inhibited by intracellular calcium chelator.Sustained exposure to LW-218 exhausted the lysosomal capacity so as to repress the normal autophagy.LW-218-induced enlargement and damage of lysosomes were triggered by abnormal cholesterol deposition on lysosome membrane which caused by interaction between LW-218 and NPC intracellular cholesterol transporter 1.Moreover,LW-218 inhibited the leukemia cell growth in vivo.Thus,the necessary impact of integral lysosomal function in cell rescue and death were illustrated. | Po Hu Hui Li Wenzhuo Sun Hongzheng Wang Xiaoxuan Yu Yingjie Qing Zhanyu Wang Mengyuan Zhu Jingyan Xu Qinglong Guo Hui Hui | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,10: | 1 |
