| 1 | Palaeogeothermal response and record of the effusing of Emeishan basalts in the Sichuan basin显示文摘Thermal history of the Sichuan basin is reconstructed based on vitrinite reflectance from boreholes in the basin using a paleo-heat flow method.The results show that the Sichuan basin experienced a relatively low heat flow period in the Early Paleozoic,and an elevated paleo-heat flow,ranging 60-80 mW/m2 with a maximum as high as 100 mW/m2 around 259 Ma,from the beginning of the Late Paleozoic to the end of the early Permian,and a decreased paleo-heat flow from the late Permian to the late Triassic,and then maintained nearly stable to the present.The Late Paleozoic paleo-heat flow was quite high where there were extensive Emeishan flood basalts or concealed basalts which erupted between the early and the late Permian,such as the southwestern and northeastern areas of the Sichuan basin.According to the distribution of paleo-heat flow,it can be inferred that,the northeastern Sichuan basin was also influenced by the Emeishan magmatic activity during the Dongwu movement though there was lack of Emeishan flood basalts.In addition,the results of thermal history reconstruction of the Sichuan basin provide paleogeothermal evidence for the existence and onset of the Emaishan mantle plume. | ZHU ChuanQing XU Ming YUAN YuSon ZHAO YongQing SHAN JingNan HE ZhiGuo TIAN YunTao HU ShengBiao | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,10: | 30 |
| 2 | On the timing of the East Asian summer monsoon maximum during the Holocene Does the speleothem oxygen isotope record reflect monsoon rainfall variability?显示文摘The evolution of the East Asian summer monsoon(EASM) during the Holocene has long been of significant interest.Knowledge of past EASM variability not only increases our understanding of monsoon dynamics on a long timescale,but it also provides an environmental and climatic background for research into Chinese cultural development.However,the timing of the EASM maximum remains controversial.The popular concept of an 'early Holocene maximum' is mainly based on speleothemδ^(18)O(δ^(18)O_c) records from caves in southern China;however,the interpretation of δ^(18)O_C as a reliable proxy for EASM intensity is being increasingly challenged.The present paper is a critical review of the climatic significance of the δ^(18)O_C record from China.Firstly,we suggest that precipitation in northern China is an appropriate index of EASM intensity,the variation of which clearly indicates a mid-Holocene monsoon maximum.Secondly,an interregional comparison demonstrates that the precipitation record in northern China is quite different from that in southern China on a range of timescales,and is inconsistent with the spatial similarity exhibited by speleothem oxygen isotope records.Furthermore,both modeling and observational data show that the δ^(18)O_C records from southern China indeed reflect changes in precipitation δ^(18)O(δ^(18)O_P) rather than precipitation amount,and therefore that their use as an EASM proxy is inappropriate.Finally,we address several significant monsoon-related issues-including the driving mechanism of the EASM on an orbital timescale,the climatic significance of speleothem oxygen isotopes,and the relationship between atmospheric circulation and precipitation in monsoonal regions. | CHEN JianHui RAO ZhiGuo LIU JianBao HUANG Wei FENG Song DONG GuangHui HU Yu XU QingHai CHEN FaHu | 2016 | Science China(Information Sciences)2016,59,12: | 18 |

| 5 | A hidden fault prediction model based on the belief rule base with power set and considering attribute reliability显示文摘Hidden faults are important characteristics of complex systems that cannot be observed directly.The hidden behavior of a system, such as the health state and safety level, has a direct correlation with these hidden faults. After the predicted hidden behavior reaches a fault boundary, certain measures must be taken to avoid fault occurrences. Thus, hidden faults can be predicted by the hidden behavior of a system.The belief rule base(BRB) has been used to predict hidden behaviors. However, two problems remain to be solved in engineering practice. First, when the observed information is absent, ignorance may exist in the output. If only global ignorance is considered, it may be unreasonable in certain cases, which can influence the prediction model. Second, the effects of disturbance factors such as noise and sensor quality may cause the reliability of the gathered information to decline, which indirectly leads to unreliability of the hidden behavior. Thus, to address the global ignorance and unreliable hidden behavior, a new hidden BRB model with a power set and considering attribute reliability(PHBRB-r) is proposed for hidden fault prediction. In the PHBRB-r model, the effects of disturbance factors on hidden behavior are considered using attribute reliability, and the discernment frame is a power set. | 6 | Numerical simulation of dam-break flow and bed change considering the vegetation effects显示文摘Existing numerical investigations of dam-break flows rarely consider the effects of vegetation.This paper presents a depth-averaged two-dimensional model for dam-break flows over mobile and vegetated beds.In the model,both the consequences of reducing space for storing mass and momentum by the existence of vegetation and dragging the flow are considered:the former is considered by introducing a factor(1-c) to the flow depth,where c is the vegetation density;the later is considered by including an additional sink term in the momentum equations.The new governing equations are discretized by the finite volume method;and an existing second-order central-upwind scheme embedded with the hydrostatic reconstruction method for water depth,is used to estimate the fluxes;the source terms are estimated by either explicit or semi-explicit methods fulfilling the stability requirement.Laboratory experiments of dam-break flows or quasi-steady flows with/without vegetation effects/sediment transport are simulated.The good agreements between the measurements and the numerical simulations demonstrate a satisfactory performance of the model in reproducing the flow depth,velocity and bed deformation depth.Numerical case studies of six scenarios of dam-break flows over a mobile and vegetated bed are conducted.It is shown that when the area of the vegetation zone,the vegetation density,and the pattern of the vegetation distribution are varied,the resulted bed morphological change differs greatly,suggesting a great influence of vegetation on the dam-break flow evolution.Specifically,the vegetation may divert the direction of the main flow,hindering the flow and thus result in increased deposition upstream of the vegetation. | Zhiguo He Ting Wu Haoxuan Weng Peng Hu Gangfeng Wu | 2017 | International Journal of Sediment Research2017,32,1: | 5 |

| 8 | Overexpression of SlOFP20 affects floral organ and pollen development显示文摘The OVATE gene was initially identified in tomato and serves as a key regulator of fruit shape.There are 31 OFP members in the tomato genome.However,their roles in tomato growth and reproductive development are largely unknown.Here,we cloned the OFP transcription factor SlOFP20.Tomato plants overexpressing SlOFP20 displayed several phenotypic defects,including an altered floral architecture and fruit shape and reduced male fertility.SlOFP20 overexpression altered the expression levels of some brassinosteroid(BR)-associated genes,implying that SlOFP20 may play a negative role in the BR response,similar to its ortholog OsOFP19 in rice.Moreover,the transcript accumulation of gibberellin(GA)-related genes was significantly affected in the transgenic lines.SlOFP20 may play an important role in the crosstalk between BR and GA.The pollen germination assay suggested that the pollen germination rate of SlOFP20-OE plants was distinctly lower than that of WT plants.In addition,the tomato pollen-associated genes SlCRK1,SlPMEI,LePRK3,SlPRALF,and LAT52 were all suppressed in the transgenic lines.Our data imply that SlOFP20 may affect floral organ and pollen development by modulating BR and GA signaling in tomato. | Shengen Zhou Zongli Hu Fenfen Li Shibing Tian Zhiguo Zhu Anzhou Li Guoping Chen | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 4 |

| 13 | The effects of straw‑returning and inorganic K fertilizer on the carbon–nitrogen balance and reproductive growth of cotton显示文摘Background:Many studies have indicated that straw-returning could meet part or even all of the potassium(K)demand for crop growth in the field,but few have compared the effects of crop straw as K source and inorganic K fertilizer on carbon–nitrogen(C–N)balance of cotton and the reproductive growth.To address this,field experiments were conducted using the cotton cultivar,Siza 3,under there treatments(CK as control group one,no crop straw and inorganic K fertilizer were applied;K150 as control group two,150 kg·ha^(-1) of K2O was applied;and W9000,9000 kg·ha^(-1) wheat straw,which could provide K2O about 150 kg·ha^(-1),was incorporated into soil).Results:Although the final reproductive organ biomass did not differ between W9000 and K150,W9000 had a higher ratio of reproductive organ biomass to total biomass(RRT),suggesting that straw-returning was more conducive to the allocation of biomass to reproductive organs.The theoretical maximum biomass of reproductive organ was higher,but the average and maximum accumulation rates of reproductive organ biomass were 2.8%∼8.3%and 2.5%∼8.2%lower under W9000 than K150.Also,the duration of rapid-accumulation period for reproductive organ biomass(T)was 2.0∼2.8 d longer under W9000 than K150,which was a reason for the higher RRT under W9000.Straw-returning altered the dynamics of leaf K with the growth period,so that W9000 had a more drastic effect on leaf C metabolism than K150.Consequently,lower soluble sugar/free amino acid and C/N ratios were measured under W9000 than K150 at boll-setting(BSS)and boll-opening(BOS)stages.Higher leaf net photosynthetic rate,sucrose phosphate synthase and sucrose synthase activities,and lower acid invertase activity were observed under W9000 than K150 at BSS and BOS and these were more conducive to sucrose accumulation.However,less sucrose was measured under W9000 than K150 at these stages.This should be because straw-returning promoted the assimilate transport capacity when compared with inorganic K fertilizer application,which also explained the higher RRT under W9000 than K150.The lower acid invertase activity under W9000 inhibited the conversion of sucrose to other sugars,hence lower contents of soluble sugar and starch were measured under W9000 than K150.Conclusion:Under low K condition,crop straw as K source can increase the assimilate transport from source to sink,leading to lower C/N ratio in leaf and higher allocation of biomass to reproductive organs than inorganic K fertilizer. | HU Wei YU Chaoran ZHAO Wenqing LIU Ruixian YANG Changqinand ZHOU Zhiguo | 2021 | Journal of Cotton Research2021,4,4: | 2 |
| 14 | EGFR TKIs impair lysosome-dependent degradation of SQSTM1 to compromise the effectiveness in lung cancer显示文摘Tyrosine kinase inhibitors for epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR TKIs)greatly improved clinical outcomes of patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Unfortunately,primary and acquired resistance limits their clinical benefits.To overcome such resistance,new generations of EGFR TKIs have been developed by targeting newly identified mutations in EGFR.However,much less effort has been put into alternative strategies,such as targeting the intrinsic protective responses to EGFR TKIs.In this study,we found that EGFR TKIs,including gefitinib and AZD9291,impaired lysosome-dependent degradation of SQSTM1,thus compromising their anti-cancer efficiency.By accumulating in the lysosome lumen,gefitinib and AZD9291 attenuated lysosomal acidification and impaired autolysosomal degradation of SQSTM1 owing to their intrinsic alkalinity.As a result,SQSTM1 protein was stabilized in response to gefitinib and AZD9291 treatment and conferred EGFR TKI resistance.Depleting SQSTM1 significantly increased the sensitivity of NSCLC cells to gefitinib and AZD9291 both in vitro and in vivo.Furthermore,a chemically modified gefitinib analog lacking alkalinity displayed stronger inhibitory effects on NSCLC cells.Therefore,targeting accumulated SQSTM1 or chemically modified EGFR TKIs may represent new strategies to increase the effectiveness of EGFR targeted therapy. | Lixian Yang Shilong Ying Shiman Hu Xiangtong Zhao Muchun Li Miaoqin Chen Yiran Zhu Ping Song Liyuan Zhu Tingting Jiang Huimin An Neelum Aziz Yousafzai Wenxia Xu Zhiguo Zhang Xian Wang Lifeng Feng Hongchuan Jin | 2019 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019,4,1: | 2 |

| 17 | Geochronology, geochemistry, and Sr-Nd isotopes of Early Carboniferous magmatism in southern West Junggar, northwestern China: Implications for Junggar oceanic plate subduction显示文摘West Junggar is a key area for understanding intra-oceanic plate subduction and the final closure of the Junggar Ocean.Knowledge of the Carboniferous tectonic evolution of the Junggar Ocean region is required for understanding the tectonic framework and accretionary processes in West Junggar,Central Asian Orogenic Belt.A series of Early Carboniferous volcanic and intrusive rocks,namely,basaltic andesite,andesite,dacite,and diorite,occur in the Mayile area of southern West Junggar,northwestern China.Our new LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb geochronological data reveal that diorite intruded at 334(±1)Ma,and that basaltic andesite was erupted at 334(±4)Ma.These intrusive and volcanic rocks are calc-alkaline,display moderate MgO(1.62%-4.18%)contents and Mg#values(40-59),and low Cr(14.5×10-6-47.2×10-6)and Ni(7.5×10-6-34.6×10-6)contents,and are characterized by enrichment in light rare-earth elements and large-ion lithophile elements and depletion in heavy rare-earth elements and high-field-strength elements,meaning that they belong to typical subduction-zone island-arc magma.The samples show low initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios(range of 0.703649-0.705008),positiveεNd(t)values(range of 4.8-6.2 and mean of 5.4),and young TDM Nd model ages ranging from 1016 to 616 Ma,indicating a magmatic origin from depleted mantle involving partial melting of 10%-25%garnet and spinel lherzolite.Combining our results with those of previous studies,we suggest that these rocks were formed as a result of northwestward subduction of the Junggar oceanic plate,which caused partial melting of sub-arc mantle.We conclude that intra-oceanic arc magmatism was extensive in West Junggar during the Early Carboniferous. | LIU Pengde LIU Xijun XIAO Wenjiao ZHANG Zhiguo SONG Yujia XIAO Yao LIU Lei HU Rongguo WANG Baohua | 2021 | Journal of Arid Land2021,13,11: | 1 |

| 20 | Three-dimensional pharmacophore screening for fentanyl derivatives显示文摘Fentanyl is a highly selective μ-opioid receptor agonist with high analgesic activity. Three-dimensional pharmacophore models were built from a set of 50 fentanyl derivatives. These were employed to elucidate ligand-receptor interactions using information derived only from the ligand structure to identify new potential lead compounds. The present studies demonstrated that three hydrophobic regions, one positive ionizable region and two hydrogen bond acceptor region sites located on the molecule seem to be essential for analgesic activity. The results of the comparative molecular field analysis model suggested that both steric and electrostatic interactions play important roles. The contributions from steric and electrostatic fields for the model were 0.621 and 0.379, respectively.
