| 6 | Effects of surfactants on graphene oxide nanoparticles transport in saturated porous media显示文摘Transport behaviors of graphene oxide nanoparticles(GONPs) in saturated porous media were examined as a function of the presence and concentration of anionic surfactant(SDBS)and non-ionic surfactant(Triton X-100) under different ionic strength(IS). The results showed that the GONPs were retained obviously in the sand columns at both IS of 50 and200 mmol/L, and they were more mobile at lower IS. The presence and concentration of surfactants could enhance the GONP transport, particularly as observed at higher IS. It was interesting to see that the GONP transport was surfactant type dependent, and SDBS was more effective to facilitate GONP transport than Triton X-100 in our experimental conditions. The advection–dispersion–retention numerical modeling followed this trend and depicted the difference quantitatively. | 7 | Magnetic performance and corrosion resistance of electroless plating CoWP film显示文摘The CoWP film with good magnetic performance and corrosion resistance was electrolessly plated from alkaline solution. The technical parameters of the electroless plating system were optimized. When the pH value of electroless plating solution was 11.0 and the reducing agent (NaH2PO2) content was 0.4 mol L 1, the target chemical reactions proceeded in the electroless plating solution smoothly with negligible interference and side effects. CoWP film prepared under optimal deposition condition contained more hexagonal close-packed (hcp) cobalt (ε-Co) of [110] and crystallographic orientation of Co [002]. VSM analysis reveals that the saturation magnetization of the CoWP film is 100~220 Am2 kg 1 and coercivity is (2.87~4.38)×104 A·cm 1. The corrosion behavior of CoWP film in 3.5% NaCl aqueous solution was studied by electrochemical experiments. The results prove that the corrosion resistance of the CoWP film deposited under the optimal depo-sition condition exhibites relatively lower corrosion current of (3.054~3.162)×10 6 A·cm 2. Embedded digital clock manager(DCM) blocks and digital programmable delay circuits are employed as the basic resources to construct the field-programmable gate array(FPGA)-based DPWM implementations. Detailed schemes are illustrated and the circuits have been successfully implemented on the Artix-7 FPGA device developed by Xilinx. Experimental results show that when the basic clock operates at the frequency of 200 MHz, the resolutions of the two approaches can reach 625 ps and 500 ps, respectively. | 10 | Macrophage-derived small extracellular vesicles promote biomimetic mineralized collagen-mediated endogenous bone regeneration显示文摘Macrophages play an important role in material-related immune responses and bone formation,but the functionality of macrophage-derived extracellular vesicles(EVs)in material-mediated bone regeneration is still unclear.Here,we evaluated intracellular communication through small extracellular vesicles(sEVs)and its effects on endogenous bone regeneration mediated by biomimetic intrafibrillarly mineralized collagen(IMC).After implantation in the bone defect area,IMC generated more neobone and recruited more mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)than did extrafibrillarly mineralized collagen(EMC).More CD63+CD90+and CD63+CD163+cells were detected in the defect area in the IMC group than in the EMC group.To determine the functional roles of sEVs,extracellular vesicles from macrophages cultured on different mineralized collagen were isolated,and they showed no morphological differences.However,macrophage-derived sEVs in the IMC group showed an enhanced Young’s modulus and exerted beneficial effects on the osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow MSCs by increasing the expression of the osteoblastic differentiation markers BMP2,BGLAP,COL1,and OSX and calcium nodule formation.Mechanistically,sEVs from IMC-treated macrophages facilitated MSC osteogenesis through the BMP2/Smad5 pathway,and blocking sEV secretion with GW4869 significantly impaired MSC proliferative,immunomodulative and osteogenic potential.Taken together,these findings show that macrophage-derived sEVs may serve as an emerging functional tool in biomaterial-mediated endogenous bone regeneration. | Anqi Liu Shanshan Jin Cuicui Fu Shengji Cui Ting Zhang Lisha Zhu Yu Wang Steve G.F.Shen Nan Jiang Yan Liu | 2020 | International Journal of Oral Science2020,12,4: | 5 |

| 17 | DASP: Defect and Dopant ab-initio Simulation Package显示文摘In order to perform automated calculations of defect and dopant properties in semiconductors and insulators, we developed a software package, the Defect and Dopant ab-initio Simulation Package(DASP), which is composed of four modules for calculating:(ⅰ) elemental chemical potentials,(ⅱ) defect(dopant) formation energies and charge-state transition levels,(ⅲ) defect and carrier densities and(ⅳ) carrier dynamics properties of high-density defects. DASP uses the materials genome database for quick determination of competing secondary phases when calculating the elemental chemical potential that stabilizes compound semiconductors. DASP calls the ab-initio software to perform the total energy, structural relaxation and electronic structure calculations of the defect supercells with different charge states, based on which the defect formation energies and charge-state transition levels are calculated. Then DASP can calculate the equilibrium densities of defects and electron and hole carriers as well as the Fermi level in semiconductors under different chemical potential conditions and growth/working temperature. For high-density defects, DASP can calculate the carrier dynamics properties such as the photoluminescence(PL) spectrum and carrier capture cross sections which can interpret the deep level transient spectroscopy(DLTS). The electrode with 6.1 wt% RuO2 nanocrystals and a high sulfur content of 79.0 wt% delivers an optimal electrochemical performance with high residual capacities of 508 mAh g-1 after 200 cycles and 389 m Ah g-1 after800 cycles at 1 C with a low capacity decay of 0.054%. The RuO2 nanocrystals promote the redox reaction kinetics and facilitate the transformation of sulfur chemistry, leading to large improvements in reversibility and rate capability of the composite electrode. The density functional theory calculations signify the formation of Li–O and Ru–S bonds through chemical interactions between RuO2 and Li polysulfides while the adsorption energies between graphene and polysulfide species are much higher in the presence of RuO2 than that of the neat graphene acting alone.
