1Rapid denudation of the Himalayan orogen in the Nyalam area,southern Tibet, since the Pliocene and implications for tectonics–climate coupling显示文摘The Himalayan orogen characterized by very high variability in tectonic and climatic processes,and is thus regarded as a natural laboratory for investigating the coupling of tectonics and climate,as well as the influence of this coupling on geomorphological processes.This study uses apatite fission track(AFT)dating of samples from a45-km-long section crossing the Great Himalaya Crystalline Complex(GHC)in the Nyalam area,southern Tibet,to constrain the timing and rate of late Cenozoic denudation.The AFT ages can be divided into two groups:(1)15–6 Ma,to the north of Nyalam town,for which the bestfit line of elevation-age has a gentle slope of 0.05,and for which a denudation rate of 0.27 mm/a is calculated;and(2)3–1 Ma,south of Nyalam town,for which the best-fit line has a steep slope of 0.64,and for which a denudation rate of 1.32 mm/a is calculated.The whole AFT ages has a positive correlation with sample elevation(i.e.,older ages are found at higher elevations),and the geographical location of the point of inflexion of the two fitted lines corresponds closely to the junction of Poqu River near Nyalam town.By integrating the AFT data with thermotectonic modeling,it can be inferred that the GHC has experienced two different periods of denudation:(1)slow denudation during middle to late Miocene(15–6 Ma)is recorded in the northern part of the GHC;and(2)rapid denudation from the Pliocene to the Pleistocene(3–1 Ma)is recorded in the southern part of the GHC.An abrupt change in denudation rate occurred between the two periods,with the Pliocene–Pleistocene denudation rate being five times higher than that during the Miocene.This abrupt change in denudation rate during Pliocene pervaded the Himalayan orogen,and was roughly synchronous with a marked change in global climate at 4–3 Ma,and intensification of the Asian monsoon.Importantly,the later period of rapid denudation in the study region closely coupled to the mean annual precipitation,while there is no clear evidence for large-scale faulting activity and associated uplift during this period.Therefore,climate(precipitation)is inferred to be the main cause of the rapid denudation of the Himalayan orogen since the Pliocene.Yong Zheng Jinjiang Zhang Jiamin Wang Bo Zhang Xiaoxian Wang Meng Wang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,9:5
2Multi-domain Lightweight Asymmetric Group Key Agreement显示文摘The terminals in mobile cloud computing have themselves the special characteristics, such as mobile flexibility, distributed in different domains, resourceconstraint and easily to be captured et al. The terminals in mobile cloud computing participated the collaborative computing, information exchange and sharing secrets may come from different domains, different networks or different clouds. For this complex network environment the paper proposes a Multi-domain lightweight Asymmetric group key agreement(ML-AGKA). It adopts the bilinear mapping and blind key technology to achieve an asymmetric group key agreement protocol among mobile terminals distributed in different domains, proposes a computation and communication migration technologies to ensure that the mobile terminals are lightweight computing and communication consumption. The protocol can also achieve anonymity and authentication. 3Targeting slug-mediated non-canonical activation of c-Met to overcome chemo-resistance in metastatic ovarian cancer cells显示文摘Metastasis-associated drug resistance accounts for high mortality in ovarian cancer and remains to be a major barrier for effective treatment. In this study, SKOV3/T4, a metastatic subpopulation of ovarian cancer SKOV3 cells, was enriched to explore potential interventions against metastaticassociated drug resistance. Quantitative genomic and functional analyses were performed and found that slug was significantly increased in the SKOV3/T4 subpopulation and contributed to the high resistance of SKOV3/T4. Further studies showed that slug activated c-Met in a ligand-independent manner due to elevated levels of fibronectin and provoked integrin α V function, which was confirmed by the significant correlation of slug and p-Met levels in 121 ovarian cancer patient samples. Intriguingly,c-Met inhibitor(s) exhibited greatly enhanced anti-cancer effects in slug-positive ovarian cancer models both in vitro and in vivo. Additionally, IHC analyses revealed that slug levels were highly correlated with reduced survival of ovarian cancer patients. 5A Specific-Targeting Asymmetric Group Key Agreement for Cloud Computing显示文摘When the information is exchanged and transmitted among the group members in mobile cloud environment, the group members may distribute different security domains. The information exchanged among group members may have different secret levels in this environment. When a person has some secret information, he only wants to share these information with some people who have the appropriate level of security permissions, other than all the members in the group. Aiming at these needs,we propose a flexible Asymmetric group key agreement(AGKA) protocol that information exchange and transmission are specific-targeting. The paper adopts bilinear mapping and two-way anonymous authentication technology to hide personal identity authentication information, and uses storage and computing migration technology to reduce the resource consumption of mobile terminal, and also proposes the secret key factor oriented extraction and combinations technology to achieve multi-level three-dimensional complex space security information exchange requirements and meet the lightweight computing. 8The application of proton spectrometers at the SG-III facility for ICF implosion areal density diagnostics显示文摘Charged particle diagnostics is one of the required techniques for implosion areal density diagnostics at the SG-III facility.Several proton spectrometers are under development, and some preliminary areal density diagnostics have been carried out. The response of the key detector, CR39, to charged particles was investigated in detail. A new track profile simulation code based on a semi-empirical model was developed. The energy response of the CR39 detector was calibrated with the accelerator protons and alphas from a241 Am source. A proton spectrometer based on the filtered CR39 detector was developed, and D–D primary proton measurements were implemented. A step range filter spectrometer was developed,and preliminary areal density diagnostics was carried out. A wedged range filter spectrometer array made of Si with a higher resolution was designed and developed at the SG-III facility. A particle response simulation code by the Monte Carlo method and a spectra unfolding code were developed. 9The crosstalk between ferroptosis and anti-tumor immunity in the tumor microenvironment:molecular mechanisms and therapeutic controversy显示文摘The advent of immunotherapy has significantly reshaped the landscape of cancer treatment,greatly enhancing therapeutic outcomes for multiple types of cancer.However,only a small subset of individuals respond to it,underscoring the urgent need for new methods to improve its response rate.Ferroptosis,a recently discovered form of programmed cell death,has emerged as a promising approach for anti-tumor therapy,with targeting ferroptosis to kill tumors seen as a potentially effective strategy.Numerous studies suggest that inducing ferroptosis can synergistically enhance the effects of immunotherapy,paving the way for a promising combined treatment method in the future.Nevertheless,recent research has raised concerns about the potential negative impacts on anti-tumor immunity as a consequence of inducing ferroptosis,leading to conflicting views within the scientific community about the interplay between ferroptosis and anti-tumor immunity,thereby underscoring the necessity of a comprehensive review of the existing literature on this relationship.Previous reviews on ferroptosis have touched on related content,many focusing primarily on the promoting role of ferroptosis on anti-tumor immunity while overlooking recent evidence on the inhibitory effects of ferroptosis on immunity.Others have concentrated solely on discussing related content either from the perspective of cancer cells and ferroptosis or from immune cells and ferroptosis.Given that both cancer cells and immune cells exist in the tumor microenvironment,a one-sided discussion cannot comprehensively summarize this topic.Therefore,from the perspectives of both tumor cells and tumor-infiltrating immune cells,we systematically summarize the current conflicting views on the interplay between ferroptosis and anti-tumor immunity,intending to provide potential explanations and identify the work needed to establish a translational basis for combined ferroptosis-targeted therapy and immunotherapy in treating tumors.Yichen Zheng Lingqi Sun Jiamin Guo Ji Ma 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,10:1

11Photo-responsive shape memory polymer composites enabled by doping with biomass-derived carbon nanomaterials显示文摘As photothermal conversion agents,carbon nanomaterials are widely applied in polymers for light-triggered shape memory behaviors on account of their excellent light absorption.However,they are usually derived from non-renewable fossil resources,which go against the demand for sustainable development.Biomass-derived carbon nanomaterials are expected as alternatives if they are designed with good dispersibility as well as splendid photothermal properties.Up to date,very few researches focused on this area.Herein,we report a novel light-triggered shape memory composite by incorporating renewable biomass-derived carbon nanomaterials into acrylate polymers without deep purification and processing.These functionalized carbon nanomaterials not only have stable dispersion in polymers as fillers,but also can endow the polymers with excellent and stable thermal and photothermal responsive properties in biological friendly environment.With the introduction of biomass-derived carbon nanomaterials,the mechanical properties of the composites are also further enhanced with the formation of hydrogen bonding between the carbon nanomaterials and the polymers.Notably,the doping of 1%carbon nanomaterials endows the polymer with sufficient hydrogen bonds that not only exhibit excellent thermal and photothermal responsive properties,but also with enough space for the motion of chains.These properties make such composite a promising and safe candidate for shape memory applications,which provide a new avenue in smart fabrics or intelligent soft robotics.Nina Yan Zhiyu Zheng Yunliang Liu Xizhi Jiang Jiamin Wu Min Feng Lei Xu Qingbao Guan Haitao Li 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

14Conductive catalysis by subsurface transition metals显示文摘The nature of catalysis has been hotly pursued for over a century, and current research is focused on understanding active centers and their electronic structures. Herein, the concept of conductive catalysis is proposed and verified by theoretical simulations and experimental observations. Metallic systems containing buried catalytically active transitional metals and exposed catalytically inert main group metals are constructed, and the electronic interaction between them via metallic bonding is disclosed. Through the electronic interaction, the catalytic properties of subsurface transitional metals(Pd or Rh) can be transferred to outermost main group metals(Al or Mg) for several important transformations like semi-hydrogenation,Suzuki-coupling and hydroformylation. The catalytic force is conductive, in analogy with the magnetic force and electrostatic force. The traditional definition of active centers is challenged by the concept of conductive catalysis and the electronic nature of catalysis is more easily understood. 15Microstructure, mechanical properties and deformation characteristics of Al-Mg-Si alloys processed by a continuous expansion extrusion approach显示文摘In the present work,a double-pass continuous expansion extrusion forming(CEEF) process was proposed for an Al-Mg-Si alloy,in which the diameter of rods was gradually expanded.The microstructural evolution,mechanical properties and deformation characteristics were investigated by utilizing microstructural observations,mechanical testing and a finite element method coupled with a cellular automata model.The results showed that the strength and ductility of the double-pass CEEF processed Al-Mg-Si alloys were improved synchronously,especially in artificially aged alloys.The grain size of the processed Al-Mg-Si alloy rods was refined remarkably by continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)and geometric dynamic recrystallization(GDRX),and the homogeneity of microstructure was gradually improved with increasing number of processing passes.The artificially aged alloy processed with double-pass CEEF and water quenching contained fine(sub)grains and high-density dislocations,which resulted in more needle-shaped β' precipitates and a larger precipitate aspect ratio than the as-received and air-cooled CEEF alloys owing to the different precipitation kinetics.The severe cumulate strain and microshear bands were found to accelerate CDRX and GDRX for grain refinement between adjacent positions of the parabolic metal flow due to the special temperature characteristics and la rge shear straining during the CEEF process.Ruiqing Lu Shuwei Zheng Jie Teng Jiamin Hu Dingfa Fu Jianchun Chen Guodong Zhao Fulin Jiang Hui Zhang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,21:0

20Human-Like Decision-Making of Autonomous Vehicles in Dynamic Traffic Scenarios显示文摘With the maturation of autonomous driving technology, the use of autonomous vehicles in a socially acceptable manner has become a growing demand of the public. Human-like autonomous driving is expected due to the impact of the differences between autonomous vehicles and human drivers on safety.Although human-like decision-making has become a research hotspot, a unified theory has not yet been formed, and there are significant differences in the implementation and performance of existing methods. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of human-like decision-making for autonomous vehicles. The following issues are discussed: 1) The intelligence level of most autonomous driving decision-making algorithms;2) The driving datasets and simulation platforms for testing and verifying human-like decision-making;3) The evaluation metrics of human-likeness;personalized driving;the application of decisionmaking in real traffic scenarios;and 4) The potential research direction of human-like driving. These research results are significant for creating interpretable human-like driving models and applying them in dynamic traffic scenarios. In the future, the combination of intuitive logical reasoning and hierarchical structure will be an important topic for further research.
