2The aboveground biomass of desert steppe and its spatiotemporal variation in western Inner Mongolia显示文摘A precise understanding of the aboveground biomass of desert steppe and its spatio-temporal variation is important to understand how arid ecosystems respond to climate change and to ensure that scarce grassland resources are used rationally. On the basis of 756 ground survey quadrats sampled in western Inner Mongolia steppe in 2005-2011 and remote sensing data from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS)-the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) dataset for the period of 2001-2011-we developed a statistical model to estimate the aboveground biomass of the desert steppe and further explored the relationships between aboveground biomass and climate factors. The conclusions are as follows: (1) the aboveground biomass of the steppe in the research area was 5.27 Tg (1 Tg=1012 g) on average over 11 years; between 2001 and 2011, the aboveground biomass of the western Inner Mongolia steppe exhibited fluctuations, with no significant trend over time; (2) the aboveground biomass of the steppe in the research area exhibits distinct spatial variation and generally decreases gradually from southeast to northwest; and (3) the important factor causing interannual variations in aboveground biomass is precipitation during the period from January to July, but we did not find a significant relationship between the aboveground biomass and the corresponding temperature changes. The precipitation in this period is also an important factor influencing the spatial distribution of aboveground biomass (R2 =0.39, P<0.001), while the temperature might be a minor factor (R2 =0.12, P<0.01). 3Novel P22-monoclonal antibody based blocking ELISA for the detection of African swine fever virus antibodies in serum显示文摘African swine fever(ASF)is a highly infectious,transboundary viral disease of domestic and wild pigs,and is currently the most serious threat to world swine production,resulting in significant economic loss.In the absence of vaccines and treatments,the control of the disease entirely depends on accurate and early diagnosis accompanied by the culling of infected pigs.Thus,a highly specific and sensitive diagnostic assay is required during an outbreak and surveillance of the disease.In this study,a highly sensitive,specific,rapid and repeatable P22-monoclonal antibody-based blocking enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(bELISA)assay was developed for the detection of antibodies against genotype I and II African swine fever viruses(ASFVs).A total of 806 pig serum samples were tested to evaluate the performance of the diagnostic assay.To determine the PI(percent Inhibition)cut-off value,receiver-operating characteristic(ROC)analysis was applied.According to the ROC analysis of the data,98.10%specificity and 100%sensitivity were recorded when the threshold cut-off value of PI was established at 47%.In addition,the assay was able to detect ASFV antibodies as early as 9 days post-infection when serum samples from experimentally infected pigs were used.Taking all together,the results of the present study indicated that the P22-mAb based bELISA assay can be used for rapid and accurate detection of antibodies against ASFV,which could play a valuable role in the containment and prevention of ASFV as an alternative to other serological diagnostic methods.Also,this study will assist researchers to further investigate the immunogenic importance of P22 protein in ASFV infection.Ghebremedhin Tsegay Weldu Tesfagaber Yuanmao Zhu Xijun He Wan Wang Zhenjiang Zhang Encheng Sun Jinya Zhang Yuntao Guan Fang Li Renqiang Liu Zhigao Bu Dongming Zhao 2022Biosafety and Health2022,4,4:2
4Testing final closure time of the Paleo-Asian Ocean along the Solonker suture by a transition of compressional and extensional setting显示文摘The giant Central Asian Orogenic Belt is an extensive accretionary orogen,of which the Solonker suture,as a major regional suture,coincides closely with an early Permian paleobiogeographical boundary.This suture is considered to mark the location of the final closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean between the North China Craton and the Mongolian Terrane.Although the closure time of the Paleo-Asian Ocean along the Solonker suture has generally been regarded as Late Permian-Early Triassic,uncertainty remains because of a lack of typical collisionrelated features(e.g.,high-grade regional metamorphism and well-developed fold-thrust structures)and a scarcity of outcrops.The present study reports Early Permian foliated gabbros and dikes(288-275 Ma)and Middle-Late Permian undeformed layered gabbros,strongly peraluminous granites,and I-type granites(265-254 Ma)in the Xinhure area along the northern margin of the North China Craton.The Early Permian foliated intrusions have a subduction-related geochemical signature and were derived from partial melting of lithospheric mantle modified by subduction-related melts or fluids at the active margin of the North China Craton.In contrast,the Late Permian undeformed layered gabbros and strongly peraluminous granites were derived from partial melting of lithospheric mantle and middle-upper crust,respectively,triggered by asthenospheric upwelling.Therefore,a transition from an end-compressional to an extensional environment according to a transition from collision termination to postcollision of the North China Craton and Mongolian Terrane may have occurred between 275 Ma and 262 Ma.This time span can be considered as the final closure time of the Paleo-Asian Ocean along the Solonker suture.Haidong Zhang Jianchao Liu Jinkun Yang Jiakun Ge Jinya Wang Zhen Li 2020Geoscience Frontiers2020,11,6:2

8Efficient synthesis of cyclic carbonates under atmospheric CO_(2) by DMAP-based ionic liquids: the difference of inert hydrogen atom and active hydrogen atom in cation显示文摘The coupling reaction of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) and epoxides is one of the most efficient pathways to achieve the carbon balance.However,to accomplish it under the mild conditions,especially under the atmospheric pressure,is still a perplexing problem.Three novel ionic liquids(ILs),[DMAPBrPC][TMGH],[DMAPBrPC][DBUH],and[DMAPBrPC][BTMA],are designed and synthesized.All of them display the excellent catalytic activity for the title reaction achieving the yield over 96.6% under the atmospheric CO_(2) pressure at 60℃.Interestingly,[DMAPBrPC][BTMA]with the inert hydrogen atom in cation exhibits the superior catalytic activity as compared to other two ILs with the protic hydrogen atom in cation along with the same anion.The active hydrogen atom in[DMAPBrPC][TMGH]and[DMAPBrPC][DBUH]would impede the–COO^(-)group to absorb CO 2,which is an unfavorable item for the reaction.Moreover,the strong hydrogen bond in[DMAPBrPC][TMGH]and[DMAPBrPC][DBUH]would lessen the nucleophilic ability of Br^(-) anion resulting in the inferior catalytic performance,which is further confirmed by the density functional theory(DFT)calculations.The cation without the active hydrogen atom could also be employed to design the ILs with the excellent catalytic feature when it is combined with the suitable anion.Zhengkun Zhang Jinya Li Guanyao Yu Chao Zeng Menglong Wang Susu Huang Li Wang Jinglai Zhang 2023Green Chemical Engineering2023,4,3:0

10Recursive Filter with Partial Knowledge on Inputs and Outputs显示文摘This paper investigates the problem of state estimation for discrete-time stochastic linear systems, where additional knowledge on the unknown inputs is available at an aggregate level and the knowledge on the missing measurements can be described by a known stochastic distribution. Firstly, the available knowledge on the unknown inputs and the state equation is used to form the prior distribution of the state vector at each time step. Secondly, to obtain an analytically tractable likelihood function, the effect of missing measurements is broken down into a systematic part and a random part, and the latter is modeled as part of the observation noise. Then, a recursive filter is obtained based on Bayesian inference.
