2Metal-organic frameworks-derived nitrogen-doped carbon supported nanostructured PtNi catalyst for enhanced hydrosilylation of 1-octene显示文摘Here,we successfully developed nano structured PtNi particles supported on n itroge rrdoped carbon(NC),which were obtai ned by carbon izati on of metal-organic frameworks under different temperatures,forming the nano-PtNi/NC-600,nano-PtNi/NC-800,nano-PtNi/NC-900 and nano-PtNi/NC-1000 catalysts.For hydrosilylation of 1-octene,we found that the nano-PtNi/NC-1000 catalyst exhibits higher activity for anti-Markovnikov hydrosilylation of 1-octene than those of nano-PtNi/NC-600,nano-PtNi/NC-800,nano-PtNi/NC-900 catalysts.Experiments have verified that benefiting from obvious charge transfer from nano-PtNi particles to NC support carbonized at 1,000℃,the nano-PtNi/NC-1000 catalyst achieved almost complete conversion and produce exclusive adduct for anti-Markovnikov hydrosilylation of 1-octene.Importantly,the nano-PtNi/NC-1000 catalyst exhibited good reusability for the hydrosilylation reaction.This work provides a new path to optimize electronic structure of catalysts by support modification to enhance electron transfer between metal active species and supports for highly catalytic performance.Junfeng Wen Yuanjun Chen Shufang Ji Jian Zhang Dingsheng Wang and Yadong Li 2019Nano Research2019,12,10:6
3Janus electrode with simultaneous management on gas and liquid transport for boosting oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Oxygen reduction efficiency holds the key for renewable energy technologies including fuel cells and metal-air batteries,which involves coupling diffusion-reaction-conduction processes at the interface of catalyst/electrolyte,and thus rational electrode design facilitating mass transportation stands as a key issue for fast oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,we report a Janus electrode with asymmetric wettability prepared by partly modifying aerophobic nitrogen doped carbon nanotube arrays with polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)as a high performance catalytic electrode for ORR.The Janus electrode with opposite wettability on adjacent sides maintains stable gas reservoir in the aerophilic side while shortening O2 pathway to catalysts in the aerophobic side,resulting in superior ORR performance(22.5 mA/cm^2@0.5 V)than merely aerophilic or aerophilic electrodes.The Janus electrode endows catalytic performance even comparable to commercial,Pt/C in the alkali ne electrolyte,exploiting a previously unrecognized opport unity that guides electrode design for the gas-consumption electrocatalysis.Yingjie Li Haichuan Zhang Nana Han Yun Kuang Junfeng Liu Wen Liu Haohong Duan Xiaoming Sun 2019Nano Research2019,12,1:4

5Orchestration of energy metabolism and osteogenesis by Mg^(2+)facilitates low-dose BMP-2-driven regeneration显示文摘The clinical application of bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2)is limited by several factors,including ineffectiveness at low doses and severe adverse effects at high doses.To address these efficacy and safety limitations,we explored whether orchestration of energy metabolism and osteogenesis by magnesium ion(Mg^(2+))could reduce the dose and thereby improve the safety of BMP-2.Our results demonstrated that rapid metabolic activation triggered by BMP-2 was indispensable for subsequent osteogenesis.Moreover,inadequate metabolic stimulation was shown to be responsible for the ineffectiveness of low-dose BMP-2.Next,we identified that Mg^(2+),as an'energy propellant',substantially increased cellular bioenergetic levels to support the osteogenesis via the Akt-glycolysis-Mrs2-mitochondrial axis,and consequently enhanced the osteoinductivity of BMP-2.Based on the mechanistic discovery,microgel composite hydrogels were fabricated as low-dose BMP-2/Mg^(2+)codelivery system through microfluidic and 3D printing technologies.An in vivo study further confirmed that rapid and robust bone regeneration was induced by the codelivery system.Collectively,these results suggest that this bioenergetic-driven,cost-effective,low-dose BMP-2-based strategy has substantial potential for bone repair.Sihan Lin Shi Yin Junfeng Shi Guangzheng Yang Xutao Wen Wenjie Zhang Mingliang Zhou Xinquan Jiang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,12:2

7Structural deformation, metallogenic epoch and genetic mechanism of the Woxi Au-Sb-W deposit, Western Hunan Province, South China显示文摘The remobilization,migration,precipitation,and enrichment of ore-forming elements are closely related to structures.Therefore,detailed regional and ore-field structural analyses are critical for determining the genesis of a mineral deposit.The Jiangnan Orogenic Belt(JOB)is an important gold polymetallic metallogenic belt in South China,which is characterized by multiple periods of gold mineralization in the Paleozoic and Mesozoic.However,the genesis of these gold polymetallic deposits is still not well understood due to a lack of systematic research on the regional geology,ore-controlling structures and metallogenic mechanism.In this study,a detailed structural survey at the surface and in the subsurface tunnels was conducted on the Woxi Au-Sb-W deposit,the genesis of which is relatively controversial among the gold polymetallic deposits in the JOB due to poor structural constraints.In addition,a wolframite U-Pb dating was carried out to further constrain the relationship between structures and mineralization.Based on the results of these studies,together with those from previous studies,it is proposed that the Woxi deposit and surrounding areas likely underwent six periods of regional deformation,which are constrained in time and geodynamic setting.Furthermore,we present a systematic discussion on the roles of ore-controlling structures in the transportation,distribution,and deposition of ore-forming elements and localization of orebodies.According to the wolframite dating results,structural analyses,and previous data,we propose that the Woxi Au-Sb-W deposit was formed in two stages during the Yanshanian:a W(wolframite)-Au mineralization stage at ca.140 Ma and an Au-Sb-W(scheelite)mineralization stage at<130 Ma.These mineralizing events are interpreted to have a tight relationship with tectonic reactivation,and the ore-forming fluids were derived from deep sources,including those of magmatic or metamorphic origins.The Woxi deposit can therefore be classified as an“intracontinental reactivation-type”,and the mineralization is related to lithospheric extension caused by plate retreat,retention,and delamination following the cessation of westward subduction of the Paleo-Pacific Plate beneath the East Asian continent.Bin LI Deru XU Daoyuan BAI Guoxiang CHI Junfeng DAI Cheng GAO Teng DENG Shaohao ZOU Wen MA Guojian WANG Yuexin LING Guangqian ZENG Yinmin LI 2022Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,12:2
8Sedimentary characteristics and main controlling factors of the Middle-Upper Permian and Middle-Upper Triassic around Bogda Mountain of Xinjiang,NW China显示文摘Based on field geological survey,interpretation of seismic data and analysis of drilling and logging data,the evolution of geological structures,stratigraphic sedimentary filling sequence and sedimentary system around the Bogda Mountain were analyzed according to the idea of'structure controlling basin,basin controlling facies and facies controlling assemblages'.The tectonic evolution of the basin around the Bogda Mountain can be divided into nine stages.The Middle-Late Permian–Middle-Late Triassic was the development stage of intracontinental rift,foreland basin and inland depression basin when lake,fan delta and braided river delta sedimentary facies developed.Early intracontinental rifting,late Permian tectonic uplift,and middle-late Triassic tectonic subsidence controlled the shape,type,subsidence rate and sedimentary system evolution of the basin.The Bogda Mountain area was the subsidence center and deposition center of the deep water lake basin in the Middle Permian with mainly deep-water deposition and local gravity flow deposition.This area had tectonic inversion in the Late Permian,when the Bogda Mountain uplifted to form a low bulge and a series of fan delta sand bodies.In the Middle-Late Triassic,subsidence occurred in the Bogda low uplift,characterized by extensive development of braided river delta deposits.YANG Youxing ZHANG Junfeng ZHANG Jinhu GAO Yongjin ZHOU Xingui SUN Xiangcan WEN Lei MIAO Miaoqing 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,4:2
9Strontium-incorporated bioceramic scaffolds for enhanced osteoporosis bone regeneration显示文摘The restoration of bone defects caused by osteoporosis remains a challenge for surgeons.Strontium ranelate has been applied in preventative treatment approaches due to the biological functions of the trace element strontium(Sr).In this study,we aimed to fabricate bioactive scaffolds through Sr incorporation based on our previously developed modified amino-functional mesoporous bioactive glass(MBG)and to systematically investigate the bioactivity of the resulting scaffold in vitro and in vivo in an osteoporotic rat model.The results suggested that Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds possessed favorable biocompatibility.Moreover,with the incorporation of Sr,osteogenic and angiogenic capacities were upregulated in vitro.The in vivo results showed that the Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds achieved better bone regeneration and vessel formation.Furthermore,bioinformatics analysis indicated that the Sr-incorporated amino-functional MBG scaffolds could reduce reactive oxygen species levels in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells in the osteoporotic model by activating the cAMP/PKA signaling pathway,thus playing an anti-osteoporosis role while promoting osteogenesis.This study demonstrated the feasibility of incorporating trace elements into scaffolds and provided new insights into biomaterial design for facilitating bone regeneration in the treatment of osteoporosis.Qianju Wu Longwei Hu Ran Yan Junfeng Shi Hao Gu Yuwei Deng Ruixue Jiang Jin Wen Xinquan Jiang 2022Bone Research2022,10,4:1

12Non-matrix-matched analysis of U-Th-Pb geochronology of bastn?site by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry显示文摘Bastn?site is widespread in alkali granite, carbonatite and REE ore deposits. The U-Th-Pb ages of bastn?site can constrain the mineralization age. Currently, the lack of suitable in situ analysis reference material is the major obstacle of bastn?site U-Th-Pb geochronology. In this study, the matrix effects of U-Pb and Th-Pb age determination in bastn?site using glass NIST 610 as the external calibration reference were evaluated with the 193-nm excimer LA-ICP-MS analysis in normal and additional gases laser ablation modes. The obtained U-Th-Pb ages of bastn?site were approximately 7–11% lower than their reference values in the normal analytical mode(without additional gas). Fortunately, the determined systematic age biases in UTh-Pb dating were significantly reduced(less than 1–2%) with the addition of water vapor within the ablation chamber. This reduction may be attributed to the observed significant suppression of206 Pb/238 U and208 Pb/232 Th downhole fractionation in both NIST 610 glass and bastn?site by introducing a small quantity of water vapor in the ablation chamber. In addition, the obtained206 Pb/238 U and208 Pb/232 Th ages of bastn?site K-9, LZ1384, and MAD809 showed great consistency with their corresponding recommended values. The obtained results show that accurate and precise U-Th-Pb ages of bastn?site can be simultaneously obtained by using glass NIST 610 as the primary calibration standard in 193-nm LA-ICP-MS with the water vapor-assisted method. 15Enhanced protective immunity against SARS-CoV-2 elicited by a VSV vector expressing a chimeric spike protein显示文摘SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV are genetically related coronavirus and share the same cellular receptor ACE2.By replacing the VSV glycoprotein with the spikes(S)of SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV,we generated two replication-competent recombinant viruses,rVSVSARS-CoV-2 and rVSV-SARS-CoV.Using wild-type and human ACE2(hACE2)knock-in mouse models,we found a single dose of rVSV-SARS-CoV could elicit strong humoral immune response via both intranasal(i.n.)and intramuscular(i.m.)routes.Despite the high genetic similarity between SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV,no obvious cross-neutralizing activity was observed in the immunized mice sera.In macaques,neutralizing antibody(NAb)titers induced by one i.n.dose of rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 were eight-fold higher than those by a single i.m.dose.Thus,our data indicates that rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 might be suitable for i.n.administration instead of the traditional i.m.immunization in human.Because rVSV-SARS-CoV elicited significantly stronger NAb responses than rVSV-SARS-CoV2 in a route-independent manner,we generated a chimeric antigen by replacing the receptor binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV S with that from the SARS-CoV-2.rVSV expressing the chimera(rVSV-SARS-CoV/2-RBD)induced significantly increased NAbs against SARS-CoV-2 in mice and macaques than rVSV-SARS-CoV-2,with a safe Th1-biased response.Serum immunized with rVSV-SARS-CoV/2-RBD showed no cross-reactivity with SARS-CoV.hACE2 mice receiving a single i.m.dose of either rVSV-SARS-CoV-2 or rVSV-SARSCoV/2-RBD were fully protected against SARS-CoV-2 challenge without obvious lesions in the lungs.Our results suggest that transplantation of SARS-CoV-2 RBD into the S protein of SARS-CoV might be a promising antigen design for COVID-19 vaccines.Hongyue Li Yuhang Zhang Dong Li Yong-Qiang Deng Hongde Xu Chaoyue Zhao Jiandong Liu Dan Wen Jianguo Zhao Yongchun Li Yong Wu Shujun Liu Jiankai Liu Junfeng Hao Fei Yuan Shuguang Duo Cheng-Feng Qin Aihua Zheng 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12:1

18Muscarinic receptor-mediated calcium changes in a rat model of facial nerve nucleus injury显示文摘The muscarinic receptor modulates intracellular free calcium ion levels in the facial nerve nucleus via different channels.In the present study,muscarinic receptor-mediated free calcium ions levels were detected by confocal laser microscopy in the facial nerve nucleus following facial nerve injury in rats.There was no significant difference in muscarinic receptor expression at the affected facial nerve nucleus compared with expression prior to injury,but muscarinic receptor-mediated free calcium ion levels increased in the affected side following facial nerve injury (P < 0.01).At day 30 after facial nerve injury,50 μmol/L muscarinic-mediated free calcium ion levels were significantly inhibited at the affected facial nerve nucleus in calcium-free artificial cerebrospinal fluid,and the change range was 82% of artificial cerebrospinal fluid (P < 0.05).These results suggest that increased free calcium ion concentrations are achieved by intracellular calcium ion release,and that the transmembrane flow of calcium ions is also involved in this process.Dawei Sun Huamin Liu Fugao Zhu Yanqing Wang Junfeng Wen Rui Zhou Yanjun Wang Banghua Liu 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,18:1
19Analysis of the correlation between horizontal wind and 11-year solar activity over Langfang, China显示文摘In this study,long term observations of medium frequency(MF)radar at Langfang site(39.4°N,116.7°E)from 2009 to 2020 have been used to analyze the dependence of the 11-year solar cycle on horizontal winds in the local mesosphere and lower thermosphere(MLT).The results show that the zonal wind is positively correlated with solar activity during spring at 80–84 km,and during summer at 80–82 km;the meridional wind is positively correlated with solar activity during spring at 84–88 km and during summer at 84–90 km.In contrast,the results show no correlation between the horizontal wind and solar activity in autumn and winter.We attempt to explain the correlations in terms of the changes in stratospheric temperature and the net flux of gravity waves during solar activities.In addition,annual and semiannual oscillations of the zonal/meridional wind were found by using the least squares fitting method on daily horizontal winds,which show negative correlations with solar activity at heights of 80–90 km.Bing Cai QingChen Xu Xiong Hu Xuan Cheng JunFeng Yang Wen Li 2021Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,3:1
20Pull-out Behaviour of Axially Loaded Screwed-in Threaded Rods Embedded in CLT Elements: Experimental Study显示文摘Experimental investigation on the pull-out behaviour,including the withdrawal capacity,slip stiffness and inter-facial shear stress,of axially loaded screwed-in threaded rod embedded in cross laminated timber(CLT)was con-ducted.Specimens with varying embedment length and different number of threaded rods were tested in this study.To prevent premature splitting failure of timber,some specimens were reinforced in the direction perpen-dicular to the timber grain with self-tapping screws.Test results showed that the screwed-in threaded rod con-nections exhibited good pull-out behaviour with high withdrawal capacity and slip stiffness.Within a certain range,the withdrawal capacity increases considerably with the increase of embedment length,while the average interfacial shear stress shows the opposite tendency.The self-tapping screws played an important role on reducing the splitting of the timber and improving the withdrawal capacity and slip stiffness of the screwed-in threaded rod.Additionally,for the specimens with self-tapping screw reinforcements,the improvement of withdrawal capacity and stiffness when increasing the number of threaded rods are much more obvious than that of the speci-mens without the self-tapping screws,due to the change of failure modes.Huifeng Yang Junfeng Ji Haotian Tao Benkai Shi Junbin Hu Bo Wen 2022Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,1:0
