1Ultrafast epitaxial growth of metre-sized single-crystal graphene on industrial Cu foil显示文摘A foundation of the modern technology that uses single-crystal silicon has been the growth of highquality single-crystal Si ingots with diameters up to 12 inches or larger. For many applications of graphene, large-area high-quality(ideally of single-crystal) material will be enabling. Since the first growth on copper foil a decade ago, inch-sized single-crystal graphene has been achieved. We present here the growth, in 20 min, of a graphene film of(5 ×50) cm^2 dimension with >99% ultra-highly oriented grains.This growth was achieved by:(1) synthesis of metre-sized single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) foil as substrate;(2)epitaxial growth of graphene islands on the Cu(1 1 1) surface;(3) seamless merging of such graphene islands into a graphene film with high single crystallinity and(4) the ultrafast growth of graphene film.These achievements were realized by a temperature-gradient-driven annealing technique to produce single-crystal Cu(1 1 1) from industrial polycrystalline Cu foil and the marvellous effects of a continuous oxygen supply from an adjacent oxide. The as-synthesized graphene film, with very few misoriented grains(if any), has a mobility up to ~23,000 cm^2 V^(-1)s^(-1)at 4 K and room temperature sheet resistance of ~230 Ω/□. 2Random copolymer membrane coated PBO fibers with significantly improved interfacial adhesion for PBO fibers/cyanate ester composites显示文摘Poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole)(PBO) fibers possess excellent dielectric, mechanical properties and heat resistance. However, the surface of PBO fibers is smooth and highly chemical inert, resulting in poor interfacial compatibility to polymer matrix, which severely limits its wider application in high-performance fiber-reinforced resin matrix composites. In this work, random copolymers(P(S-co-BCB-co-MMA)) containing benzocyclobutene in the side-chain were synthesized by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT) polymerization, which were then utilized to form dense random copolymer membrane on the surface of PBO fibers by thermally cross-linking at 250 °C(PBO@P fibers). Four kinds of synthesized P(S-co-BCB-co-MMA) with different number-average molar mass(Mn) were well controlled and possessed narrow dispersity.When the Mnwas 32300, the surface roughness of PBO@P fibers was increased from 11 nm(PBO fibers) to 39 nm. In addition, PBO@P fibers presented the optimal interfacial compatibility with bisphenol A cyanate(BADCy) resins. And the single fiber pull-out strength of PBO@P fibers/BADCy micro-composites was 4.5 MPa, increasing by 45.2% in comparison with that of PBO fibers/BADCy micro-composites(3.1 MPa). Meantime, PBO@P fibers still retained excellent tensile strength(about 5.1 GPa). 4Zeolite A synthesized from alkaline assisted pre-activated halloysite for efficient heavy metal removal in polluted river water and industrial wastewater显示文摘High quality zeolite A was synthesized through a hydrothermal process using alkalineassisted pre-activated halloysite mineral as the alumina and silica source. The synthesis conditions employed in this study were finely tuned by varying the activating temperature,sodium hydroxide content, water content and Si/Al ratio. The obtained zeolite A showed excellent adsorption properties for both single metal cation solutions and mixed cation solutions when the concentrations of the mixed cations were comparable with those in polluted natural river water and industrial wastewater. High adsorptive capacities for Ag^+(123.05 mg/g) and Pb^(2+)(227.70 mg/g) were achieved using the synthesized zeolite A. 5Large specific surface area S-doped Fe-N-C electrocatalysts derived from Metal-Organic frameworks for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘It is highly desired but challenging to develop platinum group metal-free electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),which can promote the commercialization of fuel cell technology.To achieve this target,we report a one-step doping method to prepare S-doped Fe-N-C catalysts using zeolite imidazole framework(ZIF-8)and iron(Ⅲ)thiocyanate(Fe(SCN)_(3))as precursor.Different from conventional doping approach,i.e.physical mixing,Fe(SCN)_(3) is in-situ added during ZIF-8 formation which would encapsulate Fe(SCN)_(3) molecules inside ZIF-8 to avoid structure destruction and create potential replacement of Zn ions by Fe ions to form uniform Fe-N_(4) complexes.As a result,the prepared S-doped Fe-N-C catalysts own large specific surface areas with a maximum value of 1326 m^(2) g^(-1) and a dual-scale porous structure that benefits mass transport.Significantly,the composition-optimized catalyst exhibits superior ORR activity in both 0.1 M HClO_(4) electrolyte and 0.1 M KOH electrolyte,in which the half-wave potential reaches 0.81 V and 0.92 V(vs.RHE),respectively.Remarkable stability is also attained,which loses 2 m V only after 10000 potential cycles in O_(2)-saturated 0.1 M HClO_(4) and remains almost constant in O_(2)-saturated 0.1 M KOH,surpassing commercial Pt/C catalyst in both acidic and alkaline medium.Xiaohui Yan Xiaolin Li Cehuang Fu Chen Lin Huanming Hu Shuiyun Shen Guanghua Wei Junliang Zhang 2020Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2020,30,6:3
6Hybrid Polymer Membrane Functionalized PBO Fibers/Cyanate Esters Wave‑Transparent Laminated Composites显示文摘Hybrid polymer membrane(TA-APTES),synthesized by tannic acid(TA)and aminopropyl trethoxysilane(APTES)based on the Schif’s base and Michael addition reaction,is deposited on the surface of poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole)(PBO)fbers,and then grafted with epoxy-terminated polysesquisiloxane(POSS)to obtain POSS-g-PBO@TA-APTES fbers.The POSS-g-PBO@TA-APTES fbers reinforced bisphenol A dicyanate ester(BADCy)resins(POSS-g-PBO@TAAPTES fbers/BADCy)wave-transparent laminated composites are prepared.The interlaminar shear strength and fexural strength of POSS-g-PBO@TA-APTES fbers/BADCy composites are respectively enhanced from 36.7 and 587.4 MPa to 42.8 and 645.8 MPa,increased by 16.6%and 9.9%compared with those of PBO fbers/BADCy composites.At 1 MHz,the corresponding dielectric constant and dielectric loss are reduced to 2.85 and 0.0047,respectively,lower than those of PBO fbers/BADCy(3.06 and 0.006)composites.Meanwhile,the simulated wave transmittance rate of POSS-g-PBO@TA-APTES fbers/BADCy composites with the thicknesses of 1.5–3.5 mm is higher than 86.2%at 0.3–40 GHz.The volume resistivity and breakdown strength of POSS-g-PBO@TA-APTES fbers/BADCy composites are 2.8×10^(15)Ω·cm and 19.80 kV/mm,higher than PBO fbers/BADCy composites(2.2×10^(15)Ω·cm and 17.69 kV/mm),respectively.And the corresponding heat resistant index is 221.5℃,lower than PBO fbers/BADCy composites(229.6℃).Zheng Liu Xiaoli Fan Lei Cheng Junliang Zhang Lin Tang Yusheng Tang Jie Kong Junwei Gu 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,3:2

9Evaluation and Quantitative Attribution Analysis of Water Yield Services in the Peak-cluster Depression Basins in Southwest of Guangxi,China显示文摘Karst environmental issues have become one of the hot spots in contemporary international geological research. The same problem of water shortage is one of the hot spots of global concern. The peak-cluster depression basins in southwest of Guangxi is an important water connotation and ecological barrier areas in the Pearl River Basin of China. Thus, studying the spatial and temporal variations and the influencing factors of its water yield services is critical to achieve the sustainable development of water resources and ecological environmental protection in this region. As such, this paper uses the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs(InVEST) model to assess the spatial and temporal variabilities of water yield services and its trends in the peak-cluster depression basins in southwest of Guangxi from 2000 to 2020. This work also integrates precipitation(Pre), reference evapotranspiration(ET), temperature(Tem), digital elevation model(DEM), slope, normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI), land use/land cover(LULC) and soil type to reveal the main factors that influence water yield services with the help of Geodetector. Results show that: 1) in time scale,the total annual water yield in the study area show a fluctuating and increasing trend from 2000 to 2020, with a growth rate of 7.3753 × 10^(8)m^(3)/yr, and its multi-year average water yield was 538.07 mm;2) in spatial pattern, with high yield areas mainly distributed in the south of the study area(mainly including Shangsi County, Pingxiang City, Ningming County, Longzhou County and Jingxi County), and low yield areas mainly distributed in Baise City and Nanning City;3) the dominant factor of water yield within karst and non-karst landforms is not necessarily controlled by precipitation, and the explanation degree of DEM factors in karst areas is significantly higher than that in non-karst areas;4) amongst the climatic factors, Pre, ET and Tem are dominant in the spatial pattern of region water yield capacity. among which Pre has the highest explanatory power for the spatial heterogeneity of annual water production, with q values above0.8, and each driver showed a significant interaction on the spatial distribution of water yield, with Pre exhibiting the strongest interaction with LULC.WANG Donghua TIAN Yichao ZHANG Yali HUANG Liangliang TAO Jin YANG Yongwei LIN Junliang ZHANG Qiang 2023Chinese Geographical Science2023,33,1:0

13Prevalence and risk factors for minimal hepatic encephalopathy in cirrhotic patients with different etiologies显示文摘Aims:Minimal hepatic encephalopathy(MHE)significantly affects the prognosis of patients with cirrhosis.This study was performed to determine whether there is a difference in the prevalence of MHE among patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies and whether the etiology directly influences the occurrence of MHE.Methods:This multicenter,cross-sectional study enrolled 1879 patients with confirmed cirrhosis at 40 hospitals from October 25,2021,to January 10,2023(Trial registration:http://gffzzd3f38a9638994581swokx9xuwfw0u6kbc.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/[NCT05140837]).The patients'demographics,etiologies of cirrhosis,and laboratory test results were collected.The psychometric hepatic encephalopathy score(PHES)was determined in all patients to screen for MHE.Multivariate logistic analyses were performed to identify the risk factors for MHE.Results:In total,736 patients with cirrhosis were analyzed.The prevalence of MHE was 42.0%(n=309).The primary etiology among all patients was hepatitis B virus(HBV)-related cirrhosis(71.9%[529/736]).The prevalence of MHE was significantly higher in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis(57.1%[40/70])than in those with HBV-related cirrhosis(40.6%[215/529],p=0.009)or hepatitis C virus(HCV)-related cirrhosis(38.2%[26/68],p=0.026).Age(odds ratio[OR],1.042;95%confidence interval[CI],1.024-1.059;p<0.001),duration of education(OR,0.935;95%CI,0.899-0.971;p=0.001),etiology(OR,1.740;95%CI,1.028-2.945;p=0.039),and high MELD-Na scores(OR,1.038;95%CI,1.009-1.067;p=0.009)were independent risk factors for MHE.When patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies were analyzed separately,the results showed that age(OR,1.035;95%CI,1.014-1.057;p=0.001)and duration of education(OR,0.924;95%CI,0.883-0.966;p=0.001)were risk factors for MHE among patients with HBV-related cirrhosis,whereas age(OR,1.138;95%CI,1.033-1.254;p=0.009)and creatinine concentration(OR,16.487;95%CI,1.113-244.160;p=0.042)were risk factors for MHE in patients with HCV-related cirrhosis.No risk factors for MHE were found in patients with autoimmune cirrhosis.For patients with alcoholic cirrhosis,the platelet count(OR,1.014;95%CI,1.000-1.027;p=0.045)was a risk factor for MHE.The PHES subtest results were inconsistent among patients who had MHE with cirrhosis of different etiologies.Patients with HBV-related cirrhosis performed better on Number Connection Test B and the serial dotting test than those with alcoholic cirrhosis(p=0.007 and p<0.001),better on Number Connection Test B than those with HCV-related cirrhosis(p=0.020),and better on the line tracing test than those with autoimmune cirrhosis(p=0.037).Conclusion:The etiology of cirrhosis affected the prevalence of MHE and risk factors for MHE.The domains of major cognitive impairment varied among patients with cirrhosis of different etiologies.Further studies are required to verify these findings.Xiaoyan Li Shanghao Liu Huiling Xiang Qingge Zhang Ying Guo Hongmei Zu Jing Wang Jiaojian Lv Xiaoning Zhang Fanping Meng Jiahuan Li Jie Li Yangzhen Bianba Jia Shang Guo Zhang Fei Liu Zhaowei Tong Chuang Lei Wei Ye Qiaohua Yang Ningning Wang Ying Song Wei Fu Ziyue Li Yanjing Gao Yongping Zhang Jiafang Chen Caiyun Wu Qi Zheng Fang Wang Jiali Yu Lianjie Lin Chuanlong Yang Xiaoting Yang Xiaomin Ye Xiangmei Wang Xuelan Zhao Xiaolong Qi Fusheng Wang Junliang Fu 2023Portal Hypertension & Cirrhosis2023,2,4:0
14Achieving ultrahigh electrochemical performance by surface design and nanoconfined water manipulation显示文摘The effects of nanoconfined water and the charge storage mechanism are crucial to achieving the ultrahigh electrochemical performance of two-dimensional transition metal carbides(MXenes). We propose a facile method to manipulate nanoconfined water through surface chemistry modification. By introducing oxygen and nitrogen surface groups, more active sites were created for TiCMXene, and the interlayer spacing was significantly increased by accommodating three-layer nanoconfined water. Exceptionally high capacitance of 550 F g(2000 F cm) was obtained with outstanding high-rate performance. The atomic scale elucidation of the layer-dependent properties of nanoconfined water and pseudocapacitive charge storage was deeply probed through a combination of ‘computational and experimental microscopy’. 15气象水文集合预报的多源不确定性影响评估研究显示文摘评估复杂水文预报的来源不确定性对于深刻理解和改进水文预报精度至关重要,以往研究较少关注多源不确定性对气象水文预报复杂过程的影响。本研究提出了一种通用的基于贝叶斯模型平均(BMA)的集合框架,用于评估多源不确定性对气象水文预报全过程的影响。采用TIGGE中心的八种数值天气预报产品,四种完全不同结构的水文模型和1000组参数分别考虑来自输入、结构和参数的不确定性。在中国金溪池潭流域的实际应用表明:气象水文预报中数值预报输入的不确定性比水文模型的不确定性更大,水文模型结构的不确定性则明显大于模型参数的不确定性。洪峰流量预报的精度与数值天气预报的精度紧密相关,水文模型结构和参数及其交互作用则是枯水期流量预报的主要不确定性来源。当同时考虑三种不确定性来源时,径流过程预报精度更高。通过考虑复杂预报过程的主要不确定性源,基于BMA集合预报的预测精度更高,并可降低其他因素带来的不确定性。本文提出的多源不确定性评估框架可以较好地提升对气象水文预报过程的理解,在提高复杂水文预报精度方面具有广阔的应用前景。Zhangkang Shu Jianyun Zhang Lin Wang Junliang Jin Ningbo Cui Guoqing Wang Zhouliang Sun Yanli Liu Zhenxin Bao Cuishan Liu 2023Engineering2023,,5:0

17Fine mapping and cloning of the sterility gene Bra2Ms in nonheading Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa ssp.chinensis)显示文摘The application of a male-sterile line is an ideal approach for hybrid seed production in non-heading Chinese cabbage(Brassica rapa ssp.chinensis).However,the molecular mechanisms underlying male sterility in B.rapa are still largely unclear.We previously obtained the natural male sterile line WS24-3 of non-heading Chinese cabbage and located the male sterile locus,Bra2Ms,on the A2 chromosome.Cytological observations revealed that the male sterility of WS24-3 resulted from disruption of the meiosis process during pollen formation.Fine mapping of Bra2Ms delimited the locus within a physical distance of about 129 kb on the A2 chromosome of B.rapa.The Bra039753 gene encodes a plant homeodomain(PHD)-finger protein and is considered a potential candidate gene for Bra2Ms.Bra039753 was significantly downregulated in sterile line WS24-3 compared to the fertile line at the meiotic anther stage.Sequence analysis of Bra039753 identified a 369 bp fragment insertion in the first exon in male sterile plants,which led to an amino acid insertion in the Bra039753 protein.In addition,the 369 bp fragment insertion was found to cosegregate with the male sterility trait.This study identified a novel locus related to male sterility in non-heading Chinese cabbage,and the molecular marker obtained in this study will be beneficial for the marker-assisted selection of excellent sterile lines in non-heading Chinese cabbage and other Brassica crops.Liping Song Xia Li Liguang Tang Chuying Yu Bincai Wang Changbin Gao Yanfeng Xie Xueli Zhang Junliang Wang Chufa Lin Aihua Wang 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,4:0
18Influence of Fe on electrocatalytic activity of iron-nitrogendoped carbon materials toward oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘The development of highly active nitrogendoped carbon-based transition metal(M-N-C)compounds for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)in proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFCs)greatly helps reduce fuel cell cost,thus rapidly promoting their commercial applications.Among different M-N-C electrocatalysts,the series of Fe-N-C materials are highly favored because of their high ORR activity.However,there remains a debate on the effect of Fe,and rare investigations focus on the influence of Fe addition in the second heat treatment usually performed after acid leaching in the catalyst synthesis.It is thus very critical to explore the influences of Fe on the ORR electrocatalytic activity,which will,in turn,guide the design of Fe-N-C materials with enhanced performance.Herein,a series of Fe-N-C electrocatalysts are synthesize and the influence of Fe on the ORR activity are speculated both experimentally and theoretically.It is deduced that the active site lies in the structure of Fe-N4,accompanied with the addition of appropriate Fe,and the number of active sites increases without the occurrence of agglomeration particles.Moreover,it is speculated that Fe plays an important role in stabilizing N as well as constituting active sites in the second pyrolyzing process.Lin LI Cehuang FU Shuiyun SHEN Fangling JIANG Guanghua WEI Junliang ZHANG 2022Frontiers in Energy2022,16,5:0
19AMaximum-Principle-Preserving Finite Volume Scheme for Diffusion Problems on Distorted Meshes显示文摘In this paper,we propose an approach for constructing conservative and maximum-principle-preserving finite volume schemes by using the method of undetermined coefficients,which depend nonlinearly on the linear non-conservative onesided fluxes.In order to facilitate the derivation of expressions of these undetermined coefficients,we explicitly provide a simple constriction condition with a scaling parameter.Such constriction conditions can ensure the final schemes are exact for linear solution problems and may induce various schemes by choosing different values for the parameter.In particular,when this parameter is taken to be 0,the nonlinear terms in our scheme degenerate to a harmonic average combination of the discrete linear fluxes,which has often been used in a variety of maximum-principle-preserving finite volume schemes.Thus our method of determining the coefficients of the nonlinear terms is more general.In addition,we prove the convergence of the proposed schemes by using a compactness technique.Numerical results demonstrate that our schemes can preserve the conservation property,satisfy the discrete maximum principle,possess a second-order accuracy,be exact for linear solution problems,and be available for anisotropic problems on distorted meshes.Dan Wu Junliang Lv Lei Lin Zhiqiang Sheng 2023Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2023,15,4:0
