| 1 | Chinese Stroke Association guidelines for clinical management of cerebrovascular disorders: executive summary and 2019 update of clinical management of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases显示文摘Aim Stroke is the leading cause of disability and death in China.Ischaemic stroke accounts for about 60%-80%of all strokes.It is of considerable significance to carry out multidimensional management of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases.This evidence-based guideline aims to provide the latest detailed and comprehensive recommendations on the diagnosis,treatment and secondary prevention of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases.Methods We had performed comprehensive searches of MEDLINE(via PubMed)(before 30 June 2019),and integrated the relevant information into charts and distributed to the writing group.Writing group members discussed and determined the recommendations through teleconference.We used the level of evidence grading algorithm of Chinese Stroke Association to grade each recommendation.The draft was reviewed by the Guideline Writing Committee of Chinese Stroke Association Stroke and finalised.This guideline is fully updated every 3 years.results This evidence-based guideline is based on the treatment,care and prevention of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases,which emphasises on pathogenesis evaluation,intravenous thrombolysis,endovascular therapy,antiplatelet therapy,prevention and treatment of complications,and risk factor management.Conclusions This updated guideline presents a framework for the management of ischaemic cerebrovascular diseases.Timely first-aid measures,professional care in the acute stage,and proactive secondary prevention will be helpful to patients. | Liping Liu Weiqi Chen Hongyu Zhou Wanying Duan Shujuan Li Xiaochuan Huo Weihai Xu Li'an Huang Huaguang Zheng Jingyi Liu Hui Liu Yufei Wei Jie Xu Yongjun Wang | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,2: | 42 |
| 2 | Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. | 3 | High-resolution MRI of intracranial large artery diseases:how to use it in clinical practice?显示文摘High-resolution MRI(HRMRI)has emerged as a useful tool for clinical research in recent years.Compared with traditional cranial and vessel imaging,HRMRI provides more additional valuable pathophysiology information that is helpful for the differential diagnosis of intracranial atherosclerosis,dissection and vasculitis.However,there are some points that a neurologist should keep in mind.First,although enhanced vessel wall imaging is widely applied for research purposes,it is not appropriate for routine clinical use.Any injury or inflammation within vessel wall can result in enhancement,which is unspecific for a diagnosis.Second,although plaque components identified on HRMRI arouse researchers’interest,they may have limited positive predictive value for future stroke.Ruptured plaques may have higher prevalence in asymptomatic patients than expected.More prospective observational studies are required.Third,the vessel wall morphology features remain the useful and reliable clue for a diagnosis.It is true that eccentric vessel wall lesions most likely represent atherosclerosis if vessel dissection is easily excluded.For concentric wall lesions,however,the underlying pathophysiology is complicated,either atherosclerotic or non-atherosclerotic.Fourth,HRMRI can show luminal thrombus directly and provide valuable details.All in all,when HRMRI is used by a neurologist,it should not be viewed as the only key for a diagnosis.The diagnosis should be made based on patient history,lab works,other imaging technique and even genetic examinations. | Weihai Xu | 2019 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2019,4,2: | 10 |
| 4 | Organotin compounds in surface sediments from selected fishing ports along the Chinese coast显示文摘The concentrations and species of organotin compounds(OTCs) in 52 surface sediment samples from nine fishing ports along the Chinese coast were studied.Butyltins(BTs) and phenyltins(PhTs) were derivatized using sodium tetraethylborate(NaBEt 4) and determined by head-space solid-phase microextraction(HS-SPME) gas chromatography coupled with a flame photometric detector(GC-FPD).The concentrations of OTCs ranged from <3.6 to 194 ng(Sn) g-1 dry weight(dw) for monobutyltin(MBT),<2.3 to 41.5 ng(Sn) g-1 dw for dibutyltin(DBT),<0.7 to 86.0 ng(Sn) g-1 dw for tributyltin(TBT) and <5.1 to 66.1 ng(Sn) g-1 dw for monophenyltin(MPhT),respectively.The concentrations of diphenyltin(DPhT) and triphenyltin(TPhT) were below the limit of detection(LOD).BTs were the main species in the sediments except for the samples collected from Shazikou fishing port in Qingdao.The concentrations of MBT were higher than DBT and TBT.The concentrations of OTCs in the sediments varied widely among different sampling locations.The concentrations of BTs were much higher in the samples collected from fishing ports close to the South China Sea than those in coast of the East China Sea and the Yellow Sea.MPhT was prevalent in most sampling stations except for those in coast of the East China Sea.The environmental and ecotoxicological risks of TBT in most sediment samples were low. | ZHANG KeGang SHI JianBo HE Bin XU WeiHai LI XiangDong JIANG GuiBin | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,2: | 7 |
| 5 | Effectiveness of flesh-moistening paste in psoriasis vulgaris patients with symptom pattern of blood stasis:a randomized and parallel-controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of flesh-moistening paste for treating psoriasis vulgaris in patients with blood stasis pattern in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS:Eudipleural rashes on both the left and right side of the same patients with psoriasis vulgaris,diagnosed via TCM as blood stasis pattern,were selected as the targeted skin lesions.A randomized,double-blind,parallel-controlled,multicenter controlled trial was conducted.The targeted skin lesions were categorized into either the treatment or control group.The treatment group used the flesh-moistening paste;the control group used a placebo.Both the paste and the placebo were topically applied twice daily for eight weeks.The patients were examined biweekly to evaluate the effects.The two groups were compared in terms of the psoriasis area and severity index(PASI)of the targeted skin lesions,which is scored according to erythema,desquamation,infiltration,area,pruritus,and improvement of skin barrier function.Adverse events were recorded during the study period.SPSS 21.0 was used to analyze the data.RESULTS:Fifty-six patients were enrolled between February 2016 and October 2017.Two were complicated by cardio-cerebrovascular disease and were excluded;thus,54 outpatients were finally enrolled in the study.Four dropped out during the study period:three failed to complete their follow-up visits for unknown reasons,and one exited due to an adverse event.The final trial comprised 50 of the 56 originally selected patients,with a 92.6%completion rate.After 8 weeks of treatment,the targeted skin lesion scores differed significantly(P<0.05).The PASI scores of the targeted skin lesions differed significantly beginning at week 6(P<0.05).The treatment group presented better results than those of the control group.Only one patient had an adverse reaction associated with the treatment.Improvements in skin barrier function differed significantly(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:The flesh-moistening paste demonstrated a reliable curative effect and safety for treating psoriasis vulgaris in patients with blood stasis patterns.The topical paste improved the barrier function of the skin lesions. | Guo Xinwei Lang Na Li Guanru Li Ping Qu Jianhua Zhou Dongmei Wang Ping Cang Zhang Deng BingXu Lou Weihai Xu Jingna Lan Haibing Liu Yumin Zhang Weishu Sun Liyun | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6: | 4 |

| 7 | Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine plus narrow-band medium-wave ultraviolet B radiation on moderate-to-severe psoriasis vulgaris in a case series显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy and safety of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy combined with ultraviolet B light therapy in the treatment of moderate-to-severe psoriasis. METHODS: Patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis (skin lesion area > 10% of the body surface area) for 2 consecutive years were treated with TCM (oral and external use of herbal medicines, acupuncture, and herbal bathing) and narrow-band medium-wave ultraviolet B light treatment for 12 weeks. The treatment effect was evaluated based on the Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI), the achievement of a 50% reduction in the PASI (PASI50), the achievement of a 75% reduction in the PASI (PASI75), pruritus score, Dermatology Life Quality Index, and safety. RESULTS: A total of 95 outpatients were enrolled, and 92 subjects (96.8%) completed the 12-week treatment course. At baseline, the average proportion of the body surface area covered by skin lesions was 12.4%, and the average PASI was 17.7. All patients had previously been treated with conventional medicine (89.1% of patients received ultraviolet light treatment, 50.0% received glucocorticoids, and 21.7% received acitretin). After the 12-week treatment course, 22 patients (23.9%) achieved PASI75, and 43 (46.7%) achieved PASI50. The post-treatment pruritus score and Dermatology Life Quality Index of all treated patients were significantly lower than the respective baseline values (P < 0.0001). | 8 | Bioaccumulation and changes of trace metals over the last two decades in marine organisms from Guangdong coastal regions, South China显示文摘Trace metal(Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb) exposures, distribution and bioaccumulation were investigated in marine organisms from Guangdong coastal regions, South China. The results showed that all of the selected metals were observed in marine organisms with a predomination of Cu and Zn. The metal exposure levels exhibited obvious variations between species with the decreasing order of crab > shellfish > shrimp > fish. The higher metals enrichment seen in shellfish and crab species primarily attributed to their living habits and the higher sediment background values of trace metals. Endpoint bioaccumulation factor(BAFfd) was used to characterize the bioaccumulation potentials of marine organisms to trace metals, of which Cu and Zn were the most accumulated elements. The exposure of trace metals in the cultured organisms was far lower than those in wild marine organisms, which is probably due to the effect of growth dilution. | 16 | Wear-resistant Ag-MAX phase 3D interpenetrating-phase composites:Processing,structure,and properties显示文摘Electrical contact materials are generally Ag-or Cu-based composites and play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical equipments and electronic instruments.The MAX(M is an early transition metal,A is an element from III or IV main groups,and X is carbon or/and nitrogen)phase ceramics display a unique combination of properties and may serve as an ideal reinforcement phase for electrical contact materials.The biological materials evolved in nature generally exhibit three-dimensional(3D)interpenetrating-phase architectures,which may offer useful inspiration for the architectural design of electrical contact materials.Here,a series of bi-continuous Ag-Ti_(3)SiC_(2) MAX phase composites with high ceramic contents exceeding 50 vol.%and having micron-and ultrafine-scaled 3D interpenetrating-phase architectures,wherein both constituents were continuous and mutually interspersed,were exploited by pressureless infiltration of Ag melt into partially sintered Ti_(3)SiC_(2) scaffolds.The mechanical and electrical properties as well as the friction and wear performance of the composites were investigated and revealed to be closely dependent on the ceramic contents and characteristic structural dimensions.The composites exhibited a good combination of properties with high hardness over 2.3 GPa,high flexural strength exceeding 530 MPa,decent fracture toughness over 10 MPa·m^(1/2),and good wear resistance with low wear rate at an order of 10^(-5)mm^(3)/(N·m),which were much superior compared to the counterparts made by powder metallurgy methods.In particular,the hardness,electrical conductivity,strength,and fracture toughness of the composites demonstrated a simultaneous improvement as the structure was refined from micron-to ultrafine-scales at equivalent ceramic contents.The good combination of properties along with the facile processing route makes the Ag-Ti_(3)SiC_(2)3D interpenetrating-phase composites appealing for electrical contact applications. | Yu Guo Xi Xie Zengqian Liu Longchao Zhuo Jian Zhang Shaogang Wang Qiqiang Duan Qing Jia Dake Xu Weihai Xue Deli Duan Filippo Berto Zhefeng Zhang Rui Yang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,2: | 1 |
