2Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. 3Impending HRT wave precursors to the Wenchuan M_s8.0 earthquake and methods of earthquake impending prediction by using HRT wave显示文摘We deployed four geo-electric monitoring stations in Sichuan and Yunnan provinces from 2004, using the new generation of equipment (PS-100) and technologies to capture the HRT wave earthquake precursor. Before the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake, we recorded the HRT wave precursor at the only operating station in Hongge (HG, Δ=465 km) and found that significant impending signal had been recorded at the station in the early morning ( 0―5 am) of 12th of May, 2008. The precursor for this earthquake is consistent with precursors recorded for other strong earthquakes. The measured physical properties (geo-resistivity and telluric-current) show tidal wave period oscillations from several days to several months before the earthquakes and the amplitude of such HT oscillation increases significantly towards the occurrence of an earthquake. These HT and RT waves from the epicenter have a causal relationship with the earthquakes that happened several days later. The arrival time of two RT waves is proportional to the distance from the station to the epicenter. The estimated natural decay of the amplitude is correlated with the natural period (T0) of the earthquake fault, which is proportional to the fault length. From this relationship, we can predict the earthquake magnitude. For magnitude 6―9 earthquakes, the natural period is about 1―6 hours. Such oscillation comes from the epicenter area and they can propagate several thousand kilometers in the Earth's crust. Before a strong earthquake in the shallow crust, the conductive pore fluid will experience major changes before the fault rapture. Such fluid change will emit an oscillation in the pore fluid pressure. This is the mechanism for the HRT wave generation. Since the China Earthquake Administration funded the HRT wave short-term earth-quake prediction project in 2003, the first record of HRT precursor wave has been recorded from the 2004-12-26 Sumatra Mw9.0 earthquake with the largest epicentre distance Δ=2900 km. Thereafter, we have captured HRT waves from more than twenty strong earthquakes, which are well-matched and show repeatability, consistency and regularity. All our observation with the HRT waves demonstrate that HRT wave precursors to earthquakes indeed exist. Strong earthquakes can be predicted and short-term and impending earthquake prediction is achievable in the very near future. 6Systematic study on the mechanical and electric behaviors of the nonbuckling interconnect design of stretchable electronics显示文摘Recently, we developed a nonbuckling interconnect design that provides an effective approach to simultaneously achieving high elastic stretchability, easiness for encapsulation, and high electric performance for stretchable electronics. This paper aims to systematically study its mechanical and electric behaviors, including comparisons of the nonbuckling and buckling interconnect designs on stretchability, effects of the thickness on electric performance, and modeling and experimental investigations on the finite deformation mechanics. It is found that the results on stretchability depend on the layouts. Long straight segments and small arc radii for nonbuckling interconnects yield an enhancement of stretchability, which is much better than that of buckling designs. On the other hand, shorter straight segments or thicker interconnects are better to lower the resistances of interconnects.Therefore, optimization of the designs needs to balance the requirements of both the mechanical and electric performances. The finite deformation of interconnects during stretching is analyzed. The established analytic model is well validated by both the finite element modeling and experimental investigations. 8Spotlight SAR sparse sampling and imaging method based on compressive sensing显示文摘Spotlight synthetic aperture radar(SAR)emits a chirp signal and the echo bandwidth can be reduced through dechirp processing,where the A/D sampling rate decreases accordingly at the receiver.Compressive sensing allows the compressible signal to be reconstructed with a high probability using only a few samples by solving a linear program problem.This paper presents a novel signal sampling and imaging method for application to spotlight SAR based on compressive sensing.The signal is randomly sampled after dechirp processing to form a low-dimensional sample set,and the dechirp basis is imported to reconstruct the dechirp signal.Matching pursuit(MP)is used as a reconstruction algorithm.The reconstructed signal uses polar format algorithm(PFA)for imaging.Although our novel mechanism increases the system complexity to an extent,the data storage requirements can be compressed considerably.Several simulations verify the feasibility and accuracy of spotlight SAR signal processing via compressive sensing,and the method still obtains acceptable imaging results with 10%of the original echo data.XU HuaPing YOU YaNan LI ChunSheng ZHANG LvQian 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,8:3

13Worst-case tolerance analysis on array antenna based on chaos-genetic algorithm显示文摘This paper studies the effect of amplitude-phase errors on the antenna performance. Via builting on a worst-case error tolerance model, a simple and practical worst error tolerance analysis based on the chaos-genetic algorithm (CGA) is proposed. The proposed method utilizes chaos to optimize initial population for the genetic algorithm (GA) and introduces chaotic disturbance into the genetic mutation, thereby improving the ability of the GA to search for the global optimum. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the accuracy and stability of the worst-case analysis of the proposed approach are superior to the GA. 14A Novel Wavenumber Domain SAR Imaging Algorithm Based on the Fractional Fourier Transform显示文摘The conventional Wavenumber domain algorithm(WDA) employs Fast Fourier transform(FFT) to implement matched filter. It is characterized by its high precision SAR imaging. Compared with FFT, Fractional Fourier transform(Fr FT) can provide lower and narrower sidelobes when it is applied to compress chirp signals at the optimal transform. This paper proposed a novel SAR imaging algorithm, termed Fr WDA which replaces FFT in WDA with Fr FT. The Fr WDA was derived and its implementation was presented. How to choose the optimal transformation order was given subsequently. The Fr WDA preserves high precision focusing, and has better performance on sidelobe suppression. The Fr WDA is more suitable for the high precision SAR imaging, especially in target detection and recognition. 17Dendritic tellurides acting as antioxidants显示文摘We have described the synthesis of a series of poly(aryl ether) dendrimers with telluride in the core and oligo(ethylene oxide) chains at the pe- riphery which act as glutathione peroxidase (GPx) mimics. These series of compounds were well characterized by H-NMR, 1 13C-NMR and ESI-MS. Using different ROOH (H2O2, cumene hydroperoxide) for testing the antioxidizing properties of these com- pounds, we have found that from generation 0 to 2, the activity of the dendritic GPx mimics first de- creased and then increased. This can be explained on the basis of a greater steric hindrance, going from generation 0 to 1, and stronger binding interactions going from generation 1 to 2.
