| 15 | New Dead⁃zone Compensation Approach for Proportional Flow Valve显示文摘To solve the dead⁃zone in the output flow curve of the proportional flow valve without displacement sensor,a dead⁃zone compensation approach is proposed in this paper.Instead of detection and feedback of the valve spool position,the proposed approach adopted the pressure drop across the valve metering orifice to accomplish the dead⁃zone compensation.The first step was to test and get the_(max)imum output flow,Q_(max),at a preset reference pressure drop,such asΔP_(0).The next step was to construct the target compensation flow curve,which is a line through(0,0)and(ΔP_(0),Q_(max)).Then a compensation law was designed to approach the target curve.However,the research results show that the above strategy caused over⁃compensation once the actual pressure drop deviated fromΔP_(0).Thus a correction coefficient,β,was presented to correct the initial compensation law as the pressure drop deviated fromΔP_(0).For example,the test results indicate that the corrected compensation approach could reduce the dead⁃zone from 53.9%to 3.5%at a pressure drop of 1 MPa;as the pressure drop was increased to 5 MPa,the dead⁃zone was reduced from 51.7%to 3.5%.Therefore,the following conclusions can be drawn:the proposed compensation approach is feasible,which can effectively reduce the dead⁃zone and improve the output flow static performance of the proportional flow valve without spool displacement feedback. | Qiang Wu Xingyu Ji He Wang Huimin Hao Jiahai Huang | 2022 | Journal of Harbin Institute of Technology(New Series)2022,29,1: | 0 |

| 19 | DDB1-and CUL4-associated factor 8 plays a critical role in spermatogenesis显示文摘Cullin-RING E3 ubiquitin ligase(CRL)-4 is a member of the large CRL family in eukaryotes.It plays important roles in a wide range of cellular processes,organismal development,and physiological and pathological conditions.DDB1-and CUL4-associated factor 8(DCAF8)is a WD40 repeat-containing protein,which serves as a substrate receptor for CRL4.The physiological role of DCAF8 is unknown.In this study,we constructed Dcaf8 knockout mice.Homozygous mice were viable with no noticeable abnormalities.However,the fertility of Dcaf8-deficient male mice was markedly impaired,consistent with the high expression of DCAF8 in adult mouse testis.Sperm movement characteristics,including progressive motility,path velocity,progressive velocity,and track speed,were significantly lower in Dcaf8 knockout mice than in wild-type(WT)mice.However,the total motility was similar between WT and Dcaf8 knockout sperm.More than 40%of spermatids in Dcaf8 knockout mice showed pronounced morphological abnormalities with typical bent head malformation.The acrosome and nucleus of Dcaf8 knockout sperm looked similar to those of WT sperm.In vitro tests showed that the fertilization rate of Dcaf8 knockout mice was significantly reduced.The results demonstrated that DCAF8 plays a critical role in spermatogenesis,and DCAF8 is a key component of CRL4 function in the reproductive system. | Xiuli Zhang Zhizhou Xia Xingyu Lv Donghe Li Mingzhu Liu Ruihong Zhang Tong Ji Ping Liu Ruibao Ren | 2021 | Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,2: | 0 |
| 20 | Assessing the role of mineral particles in the atmospheric photooxidation of typical carbonyl compound显示文摘Mineral particles are ubiquitous in the atmosphere and exhibit an important effect on the photooxidation of volatile organic compounds(VOCs).However,the role of mineral particles in the photochemical oxidation mechanism of VOCs remains unclear.Hence,the photooxi-dation reactions of acrolein(ARL)with OH radical(OH)in the presence and absence of SiO_(2) were investigated by theoretical approach.The gas-phase reaction without SiO_(2) has two distinct pathways(H-abstraction and OH-addition pathways),and carbonyl-H-abstraction is the dominant pathway.In the presence of SiO_(2),the reaction mechanism is changed,i.e.,the dominant pathway from carbonyl-H-abstraction to OH-addition to carbonyl C-atom.The energy barrier of OH-addition to carbonyl C-atom deceases 21.33 kcal/mol when SiO_(2) is added.Carbonyl H-atom of ARL is occupied by SiO_(2) via hydrogen bond,and carbonyl C-atom is ac-tivated by SiO_(2).Hence,the main product changes from H-abstraction product to OH-adduct in the presence of SiO_(2).The OH-adduct exhibits a thermodynamic feasibility to yield HO_(2) radical and carboxylic acid via the subsequent reactions with O_(2),with implications for O 3 formation and surface acidity of mineral particles. | Yongpeng Ji Xingyu Chen Yuqi Xiao Yuemeng Ji Weina Zhang Jiaxin Wang Jiangyao Chen Guiying Li Taicheng An | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,7: | 0 |
