1Comorbid Chronic Diseases and Acute Organ Injuries Are Strongly Correlated with Disease Severity and Mortality among COVID-19 Patients: A Systemic Review and Meta-Analysis显示文摘The recent outbreak of COVID-19 has been rapidly spreading on a global scale.To date,there is no specific vaccine against the causative virus,SARS-CoV-2,nor is there an effective medicine for treating COVID-19,thus raising concerns with respect to the effect of risk factors such as clinical course and pathophysiological parameters on disease severity and outcome in patients with COVID-19.By extracting and analyzing all available published clinical data,we identified several major clinical characteristics associated with increased disease severity and mortality among patients with COVID-19.Specifically,preexisting chronic conditions such as hypertension,cardiovascular disease,chronic kidney disease,and diabetes are strongly associated with an increased risk of developing severe COVID-19;surprisingly,however,we found no correlation between chronic liver disease and increased disease severity.In addition,we found that both acute cardiac injury and acute kidney injury are highly correlated with an increased risk of COVID-19-related mortality.Given the high risk of comorbidity and the high mortality rate associated with tissue damage,organ function should be monitored closely in patients diagnosed with COVID-19,and this approach should be included when establishing new guidelines for managing these high-risk patients.Moreover,additional clinical data are needed in order to determine whether a supportive therapy can help mitigate the development of severe,potentially fatal complications,and further studies are needed to identify the pathophysiology and the mechanism underlying this novel coronavirus-associated infectious disease.Taken together,these findings provide new insights regarding clinical strategies for improving the management and outcome of patients with COVID-19.Xinhui Wang Xuexian Fang Zhaoxian Cai Xiaotian Wu Xiaotong Gao Junxia Min Fudi Wang 2020Research2020,,1:13

3Research on a soft-measurement model of gasification temperature based on recurrent neural network显示文摘Gasification temperature measurement is one of the most challenging tasks in an entrained-flow gasifier and often requires indirect calculation using the soft-sensor method,a parameter prediction method using other parameters that are more easily measurable and using correlation equations that are widely accepted in the gasification field for the temperature data.Machine learning is a non-linear prediction method that can adequately act as a soft sensor.Furthermore,the recurrent neural network(RNN)has the function of memorization,which makes it capable of learning how to deal with temporal order.In this paper,the oxygen-coal ratio,CH_(4)content and CO_(2)content determined through the process analysis of a 3000-t/d coal-water slurry gasifier are used as input parameters for the soft sensor of the gasification temperature.The RNN model and back propagation(BP)neural network model are then established with training-set data from gasification results.Compared with prediction set data from the gasification results,the RNN model is found to be much better than the BP neural network based on important indexes such as the mean square error(MSE),mean absolute error(MAE)and standard deviation(SD).The results show that the MSE of the prediction set of the RNN model is 6.25℃,the MAE is 10.33℃and the SD is 3.88℃,respectively.The overall accuracy,the average accuracy and the stability effects are well within the accepted ranges for the results as such.Haiquan An Xinhui Fang Zhen Liu Ye Li 2022Clean Energy2022,6,1:2

9Composite Eu-MOF@CQDs“off&on”ratiometric luminescent probe for highly sensitive chiral detection of l-lysine and 2-methoxybenzaldehyde显示文摘The high amount of l-lysine can increase the potential risk of cardiovascular disease.Additionally,2-methoxy benzaldehyde(2-MB)has high toxicity and can easily pollute the environment.In this work,carbon quantum dots(CQDs)can be encapsulated into Eu-BTB(H_(3)BTB=1,3,5-tri(4-carboxyphenyl)benzene),forming the multi-emission composite material Eu-BTB@CQDs.It has two emissions peaks(617 nm for Eu and 470 nm for CQDs).Eu-BTB@CQDs can be applied as bi-functional ratiometric“off&on”luminescent sensor for l-lysine and 2-MB with high sensitivity and selectivity,the low limit of detection(LOD)for l-lysine is 3.68μmol/L and for 2-MB is 0.54μmol/L,respectively.Additionally,Eu-BTB@CQDs can quantitatively discriminate l-lysine in the mixed d-and l-lysine water solutions(five different concentrations ratio of l/d-lysine has been set)makes the chiral detection of l-lysine are more meaningful.On the other hand,Eu-BTB@CQDs also can detect 2-MB over 4-methoxybenzaldehyde(4-MB)with high selectivity.Further the detection of 2-MB and l-lysine in the lake water real samples with the reasonable recovery rate.Finally,the detection mechanisms for l-lysine and 2-MB were also investigated and discussed in detail.Yupeng Jiang Xinhui Fang Ziqing Zhang Xiaomeng Guo Jianzhong Huo Qian Wang Yuanyuan Liu Xinrui Wang Bin Ding 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,11:0
10Achieving 16.68% efficiency ternary as-cast organic solar cells显示文摘State-of-the-art organic solar cells(OSCs)often require the use of high-boiling point additive or post-treatment such as temperature annealing and solvent vapor annealing to achieve the best efficiency.However,additives are not desirable in largescale industrial printing process,while post-treatment also increases the production cost.In this article,we report highly efficient ternary OSCs based on PM6:BTP-Cl Br1:BTP-2O-4Cl-C12(weight ratio=1:1:0.2),with 16.68%power conversion efficiency(PCE)for as-cast device,relatively close to its annealed counterpart(17.19%).Apart from obvious energy tuning effect and complementary absorption spectra,the improved PCE of ternary device is mainly attributed to improved morphological properties including the more favorable materials miscibility,crystallinity,domain size and vertical phase separation,which endorse suppressed recombination.The result of this work provides understanding and guidance for high-performance as-cast OSCs through the ternary strategy.Ruijie Ma Yang Tao Yuzhong Chen Tao Liu Zhenghui Luo Yuan Guo Yiqun Xiao Jin Fang Guangye Zhang Xiaojun Li Xia Guo Yuanping Yi Maojie Zhang Xinhui Lu Yongfang Li He Yan 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,4:0

13RcSPL1-RcTAF15b regulates the flowering time of rose (Rosa chinensis)显示文摘Rose(Rosa chinensis),which is an economically valuable floral species worldwide,has three types,namely once-flowering(OF),occasional or re-blooming(OR),and recurrent or continuous flowering(CF).However,the mechanism underlying the effect of the age pathway on the duration of the CF or OF juvenile phase is largely unknown.In this study,we observed that the RcSPL1 transcript levels were substantially upregulated during the floral development period in CF and OF plants.Additionally,accumulation of RcSPL1 protein was controlled by rch-miR156.The ectopic expression of RcSPL1 in Arabidopsis thaliana accelerated the vegetative phase transition and flowering.Furthermore,the transient overexpression of RcSPL1 in rose plants accelerated flowering,whereas silencing of RcSPL1 had the opposite phenotype.Accordingly,the transcription levels of floral meristem identity genes(APETALA1,FRUITFULL,and LEAFY)were significantly affected by the changes in RcSPL1 expression.RcTAF15b protein,which is an autonomous pathway protein,was revealed to interact with RcSPL1.The silencing and overexpression of RcTAF15b in rose plants led to delayed and accelerated flowering,respectively.Collectively,the study findings imply that RcSPL1–RcTAF15b modulates the flowering time of rose plants.Rui Yu Zhiying Xiong Xinhui Zhu Panpan Feng Ziyi Hu Rongxiang Fang Yuman Zhang Qinglin Liu 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,6:0
