1Effects of vegetation height and density on soil temperature variations显示文摘Reduction in vegetation cover caused by human activities has a great impact on soil temperature. It is important to assess how soil temperature responds to reduction of vegetation height and density. In this paper we first report the trends of mean annual soil surface and air temperatures recorded at the meteorological stations near the Ecological Research Station for Grassland Farming (ERSGF) from 1961 to 2007, then we setup an experiment using reed (Phragmites australis) stalks with different heights and densities to simulate effects of different vegetation height and density on soil and air temperatures. The warming rates of the mean annual soil and air temperatures were 0.043 and 0.041C a 1 , respectively. Changes of soil temperature were characterized by both increased mean annual maximum and minimum soil temperatures. At the experimental site, mean daily temperature, mean daily maximum soil and air temperatures increased significantly. In contrast, mean daily minimum soil temperature increased significantly while mean daily minimum air temperature decreased significantly as the height and density of reed stalks reduced during the experimental period. Mean diurnal soil temperature ranges were smaller than mean diurnal air temperature ranges. 2Effects of fencing on vegetation and soil restoration in a degraded alkaline grassland in northeast China显示文摘In order to restore a degraded alkaline grassland, the local government implemented a large restoration project using fences in Changling county, Jilin province, China, in 2000. Grazing was excluded from the protected area, whereas the grazed area was continuously grazed at 8.5 dry sheep equivalent(DSE)/hm2. In the current research, soil and plant samples were taken from grazed and fenced areas to examine changes in vegetation and soil properties in 2005, 2006 and 2008. Results showed that vegetation characteristics and soil properties improved significantly in the fenced area compared with the grazed area. In the protected area the vegetation cover, height and above- and belowground biomass increased significantly. Soil pH, electrical conductivity and bulk density decreased significantly, but soil organic carbon and total nitrogen concentration increased greatly in the protected area. By comparing the vegetation and soil characteristics with pre-degraded grassland, we found that vegetation can recover 6 years after fencing, and soil pH can be restored 8 years after fencing. However, the restoration of soil organic carbon, total nitrogen and total phosphorus concentrations needed 16, 30 and 19 years, respectively. It is recommended that the stocking rate should be reduced to 1/3 of the current carrying capacity, or that a grazing regime of 1-year of grazing followed by a 2-year rest is adopted to sustain the current status of vegetation and soil resources. 3Hybrid Field-Effect Transistors and Photodetectors Based on Organic Semiconductor and CsPbI_3 Perovskite Nanorods Bilayer Structure显示文摘The outstanding performances of nanostructured allinorganic CsPbX_3(X = I, Br, Cl) perovskites in optoelectronic applications can be attributed to their unique combination of a suitable bandgap, high absorption coefficient, and long carrier lifetime, which are desirable for photodetectors. However, the photosensing performances of the CsPbI_3 nanomaterials are limited by their low charge-transport efficiency. In this study, a phototransistor with a bilayer structure of an organic semiconductor layer of 2,7-dioctyl [1] benzothieno[3,2-b] [1] benzothiophene and CsPbI_3 nanorod layer was fabricated. The high-quality CsPbI_3 nanorod layer obtained using a simple dip-coating method provided decent transistor performance of the hybrid transistor device.The perovskite layer efficiently absorbs light, while the organicsemiconductor layer acts as a transport channel for injected photogenerated carriers and provides gate modulation. 4Textbook Outcome as a measure of surgical quality assessment and prognosis in gastric neuroendocrine carcinoma:A large multicenter sample analysis显示文摘Objective:Quality assurance is crucial for oncological surgical treatment assessment.For rare diseases,singlequality indicators are not enough.We aim to develop a comprehensive and reproducible measurement,called the'Textbook Outcome'(TO),to assess the quality of surgical treatment and prognosis of gastric neuroendocrine carcinoma(G-NEC)patients.Methods:Data from patients with primary diagnosed G-NEC included in 24 high-volume Chinese hospitals from October 2005 to September 2018 were analyzed.TO included receiving a curative resection,≥15 lymph nodes examined,no severe postoperative complications,hospital stay≤21 d,and no hospital readmission≤30 d after discharge.Hospital variation in TO was analyzed using a case mix-adjusted funnel plot.Prognostic factors of survival and risk factors for non-Textbook Outcome(non-TO)were analyzed using Cox and logistic models,respectively.Results:TO was achieved in 56.6%of 860 G-NEC patients.TO patients had better overall survival(OS),disease-free survival(DFS),and recurrence-free survival(RFS)than non-TO patients(P<0.05).Moreover,TO patients accounted for 60.3%of patients without recurrence.Multivariate Cox analysis revealed non-TO as an independent risk factor for OS,DFS,and RFS of G-NEC patients(P<0.05).Increasing TO rates were associated with improved OS for G-NEC patients,but not hospital volume.Multivariate logistic regression revealed that nonlower tumors,open surgery,and>200 mL blood loss were independent risk factors for non-TO patients(P<0.05).Conclusions:TO is strongly associated with multicenter surgical quality and prognosis for G-NEC patients.Factors predicting non-TO are identified,which may help guide strategies to optimize G-NEC outcomes.Qiyue Chen Zhongliang Ning Zhiyu Liu Yanbing Zhou Qingliang He Yantao Tian Hankun Hao Wei Lin Lixin Jiang Gang Zhao Ping Li Chaohui Zheng Changming Huang on behalf of the Study Group for Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumors 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,4:2
5Multi-centric clinical study of the effect of intervention time on efficacy of gastroparesis external application prescription treatment of gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis显示文摘Objective:This intervention has been shown to be clinically efficacious and safe.The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different intervention times on the efficacy of gastroparesis external application prescription versus placebo for the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor postoperative,postsurgical gastroparesis.Methods:A multicenter,randomized,double-blind,placebo controlled phaseⅢclinical trial was designed to demonstrate superiority and conducted at four grade 3A hospitals in Beijing.Patients diagnosed with gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis and local cold syndrome in the abdomen were enrolled and received conventional treatment(nutritional support,gastrointestinal decompression,and prokinetic medication).Treatment and control groups respectively received gastroparesis external application prescription or placebo acupoint application over a treatment course of 14 days or until the primary efficacy endpoint(clinical efficiency)was achieved.Results:A total of 120 patients were enrolled in the treatment and control groups(n Z 60 per group),and 15 patients dropped out of the study because of skin allergies(n Z 7)or poor efficacy(nZ8).The efficacy among patients in Class B of Group A(treatment group)was marginally better than that of Group B(control group)(64.28%vs.55.56%)although the difference between the two groups was not significant.However,the efficacy among patients in Class C of Group A was significantly better than that of Group B(79.49%vs.43.33%).For Group A,the time for patients in the three classes to achieve the efficacy endpoint increased significantly with disease progression(3.00,6.78,and 8.29 days for Class A,B,and C,respectively).Conclusions:Gastroparesis external application prescription can effectively treat gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis and may be more efficacious in progressive disease compared placebo.Patients with gastrointestinal tumor postsurgical gastroparesis should therefore undergo intervention at an earlier stage.Qin Zhou Minghuan Zuo Yantao Tian Yanbin Wang Yingjiang Ye Chao An Tian Zhou Chuanbo Liu Kaiwen Hu Quanwang Li 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2016,3,4:2

12Control factors of reservoir oil-bearing difference of Cretaceous Mishrif Formation in the H oilfield, Iraq显示文摘To reveal the law of oiliness of the Upper Cretaceous carbonate reservoirs in the Middle East and factors controlling the oiliness, the Mishrif Formation of the H oilfield in Iraq was examined comprehensively. Based on core observation and description, casting thin section analysis, and statistics of physical property and pore-throat structure parameter, etc., in combination with previous achievements and understanding, it is pointed out that the coring interval of Mishrif Formation has strong oiliness heterogeneity, and can be divided into 4 grades, oil rich, oil immersed, oil spot, and oil trace; the oil-bearing grade has obvious facies-controlled characteristic in macroscopic view; and in different oil-bearing grades, relatively oil-rich sections present higher karst development intensity, better physical properties and pore-throat structure characteristics. It is concluded through the study that the sedimentary microenvironment and eogenetic karstification determine the macroscopic oiliness of the reservoir in Mishrif Formation of H Oilfield, and the improvement of pore-throat structure caused by eogenetic karstification is the decisive factor of the micro oil-bearing difference of the reservoir. 13Supramolecular assembly of Cp1-11 peptide and insulin for rapid-acting formulation显示文摘In order to improve the life quality of diabetic patients,it is very important to develop rapid-acting insulin formulations that can mimic the physiological meal-time secretion profile of insulin in healthy people.Although several insulin analogues have been designed to provide postprandial glycemic control,still there are some serious disadvantages.A supramolecular strategy is presented here to inhibit insulin aggregation and improve its bioactivity by using Cp1-11 peptide.As a fragment of C-peptide in proinsulin,Cp1-11 peptide was found to influence insulin oligomerization by supramolecular interactions.This work demonstrates that the Cp1-11 peptide can interact with oligomeric insulin and facilitate its disaggregation into the physiologically active monomeric form.Computer simulation indicates that Cp1-11 can insert into the space between the C-terminal tail and the N-terminal helix of the B-chain of insulin,causing dissociation of the insulin dimer.The supramolecular assembly of Cp1-11 and insulin can improve the bioavailability and therapeutic effect of insulin on the control of in vivo blood glucose levels.These results suggest that Cp1-11 peptide can modulate the intermolecular interaction of aggregated insulin and prevent the transition from monomeric to multimeric states,and shows great potential for the development of an effective rapid-acting strategy to treat diabetes.Weigang Wang Sheyu Li Zhouxiang Zhao Anna Zhou Yanpeng Liu Yantao Chen Mingchang Lin Guosong Chen Chunmei Ding Jianshu Li 2017Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2017,2,3:0

15Evaluation of trap effi ciency for the Asian longhorned beetle,Anoplophora glabripennis显示文摘The Asian longhorned beetle(ALB),Anoplophora glabripennis,is a well-known stem borer with high polyphagous properties causing frequent outbreaks in northeast China.An attractant-based trap is needed to improve the sensitivity,reliability,and effi ciency for detection of the beetle.In this study,the eff ects of attractants,trap types and color synergy of a trapping system were evaluated.Attractant blends comprised of the male-produced,two-component pheromone plus plant volatiles were used in the fi eld in Hengshui city.Plant volatiles(e.g.,1-pentanol,and 2-pentanol)in combination with male pheromones increased the mean number of trapped ALB compared to the pheromone alone.Males responded better than females to traps baited with plant volatiles alone,whereas traps emitting plant volatiles plus pheromone,regardless of trap type,captured more females than males.The ALB-trapping effi ciency of a modifi ed fl ight intercept panel trap was more than ten times as high as a woodborer panel trap and 1.2 times a fl ight intercept panel trap.The 1-pentanol and 2-pentanol attractants alone or in combination with male-produced pheromone were more eff ective for monitoring ALB than common lures.In laboratory Y-tube olfactometer experiments,the color brown was better at increasing attraction of both males and females to 1-pentanol,2-pentanol,1-pentanol+pheromone,and 2-pentanol+pheromone compared to the clear-glass control arm.The fi ndings provide a reliable and eff ective trap system to monitor ALB infestations.Junxin Yan Yantao Zhou Dun Jiang Yaru Lü Yingsheng Liu Mengmeng Yu Aijun Zhang Shanchun Yan 2023Journal of Forestry Research2023,34,4:0
