3An Ethylene-inhibited NF-YC Transcription Factor RhNF-YC9 Regulates Petal Expansion in Rose显示文摘The speed of flower opening is closely related to their ornamental period.Ethylene functions as a negative regulator involved in the regulation of the petal expansion process.In this study,we isolated a NF-YC transcription factor gene,RhNF-YC9,fromrose petals.RhNF-YC9 expression was induced at the early stages of flower opening but was inhibited by ethylene treatment.Silencing RhNF-YC9 decreased the speed of petal expansion from stage 2 to stage 5.The expressions of 11 cell expansion-related genes involved in cell wall loosening,cell turgor modulation,and cytoskeleton remodeling were significantly down-regulated in RhNF-YC9-silenced petals.We also found that silencing RhNF-YC9 decreased the expression of gibberellin acid(GA)biosynthetic gene RhGA20ox while significantly increasing the transcripts of GA catabolic gene RhGA2ox,reducing the accumulation of GA4 and GA7.The influence of ethylene treatment on the expression of RhGA20ox and RhGA2ox showed the same trend.These results together suggested that RhNF-YC9 positively regulated the speed of petal expansion and mediated the crosstalk between ethylene and GA.Our findings revealed a new insight into the function of NF-YC transcription factors involved in ethylene-regulated petal expansion.Changxi Chen Nisar Hussain Yaru Wang Mingtong Li Lin Liu Meizhu Qin Nan Ma Junping Gao Xiaoming Sun 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,6:9
4Design,methodology,and baseline of whole city‑million scale children and adolescents myopia survey(CAMS)in Wenzhou,China显示文摘Background:Myopia is the most common visual impairment in children and adolescents worldwide.This study described an economical and effective population-based screening pipeline and performed the project of a million scale children and adolescents myopia survey(CAMS),which will shed light on the further study of myopia from the level of epidemiology and precision medicine.Methods:We developed a novel population-based screening pattern,an intelligent screening process and internetbased information transmission and analysis system to carry out the survey consisting of school children in Wenzhou,China.The examination items include unaided distance visual acuity,presenting distance visual acuity,and noncycloplegic autorefraction.Myopia and high myopia were defined as spherical equivalent(SE)≤−1.00 diopters(D)and SE≤−6.00 D,respectively.Next,the reports of the vision checking were automatically sent to parents and the related departments.The CAMS project will be done two to four times annually with the support of the government.An online eyesight status information management system(OESIMS)was developed to construct comprehensive and efficient electronic vision health records(EVHRs)for myopia information inquiry,risk pre-warning,and further study.Results:The CAMS completed the first-round of screening within 30 days for 99.41%of Wenzhou students from districts and counties,in June 2019.A total of 1,060,925 participants were eligible for CAMS and 1,054,251(99.37%participation rate)were selected through data quality control,which comprised 1305 schools,and 580,609,251,050 and 170,967 elementary,middle,and high school students.The mean age of participants was 12.21±3.32 years(6-20 years),the female-to-male ratio was 0.82.The prevalence of myopia in elementary,middle,and high school students was 38.16%,77.52%,and 84.00%,respectively,and the high myopia incidence was 0.95%,6.90%,and 12.98%.Conclusions:The CAMS standardized myopia screening model involves automating large-scale information collection,data transmission,data analysis and early warning,thereby supporting myopia prevention and control.The entire survey reduced 90%of staff,cost,and time consumption compared with previous surveys.This will provide new insights for decision support for public health intervention.Liangde Xu Youyuan Zhuang Guosi Zhang Yunlong Ma Jian Yuan Changseng Tu MiaoMiao Li Wencan Wang Yaru Zhang Xiaoyan Lu Jing Li Xinting Liu Zhengbo Xue Meng Zhou Jie Sun Jinhua Bao Ming Li Fan Lu Hong Wang Jianzhong Su Jia Qu 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:7
5The influence of intimacy on the ’iterative reactions’ during OX-ZEO process for aromatic production显示文摘The oxide-zeolite process provides a promising way for one-step production of aromatics from syngas,whereas the reasons for the dramatic effect of intimacy between oxide and zeolite in the composite catalyst on the product selectivity are still unclear. In order to explore the optimal intimacy and the essential influence factors, ZnCrOxcombined with ZSM-5 are employed to prepare the composite catalysts with different distances between the two components by changing the mixing methods. An aromatic selectivity of 74%(with CO conversion to be 16%) is achieved by the composite catalyst when the intimacy is in the range of nanometer. A so-called ‘iterative reactions’ mechanism of intermediates over oxides is then proposed and studied: the intermediate chemical can undergo a hydrogenation reaction on oxide.So the shorter the intermediates stay on oxide, the more of chance for C-C coupling takes place on zeolite to form aromatics. Moreover, the aero-environments of reaction is found to impact on the extent of iterative reaction as well. Therefore, when the intimacy between the two components changes, the extent of iterative reactions vary, resulting in alteration of product distribution. 6Matrix stiffness modulates tip cell formation through the p-PXN-Rac1-YAP signaling axis显示文摘Endothelial tip cell outgrowth of blood-vessel sprouts marks the initiation of angiogenesis which is critical in physiological and pathophysiological procedures.However,how mechanical characteristics of extracellular matrix(ECM)modulates tip cell formation has been largely neglected.In this study,we found enhanced CD31 expression in the stiffening outer layer of hepatocellular carcinoma than in surrounding soft tissues.Stiffened matrix promoted sprouting from endothelial cell(EC)spheroids and upregulated expressions of tip cell-enriched genes in vitro.Moreover,tip cells showed increased cellular stiffness,more actin cytoskeleton organization and enhanced YAP nuclear transfer than stalk and phalanx ECs.We further uncovered that substrate stiffness regulates FAK and Paxillin phosphorylation in focal adhesion of ECs promoting Rac1 transition from inactive to active state.YAP is subsequently activated and translocated into nucleus,leading to increased tip cell specification.p-Paxillin can also loosen the intercellular connection which also facilitates tip cell specification.Collectively our present study shows that matrix stiffness modulates tip cell formation through p-PXN-Rac1-YAP signaling axis,shedding light on the role of mechanotransduction in tip cell formation.This is of special significance in biomaterial design and treatment of some pathological situations.Yaru Guo Feng Mei Ying Huang Siqin Ma Yan Wei Xuehui Zhang Mingming Xu Ying He Boon Chin Heng Lili Chen Xuliang Deng 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,1:4
7Investigation of Linarinic acid and one of its derivatives against cerebral ischemia in mice显示文摘The study aims to investigate the effects of(-)-Linarinic acid(LA) and one of its derivatives(LAd) on brain injury induced by ischemia. Malonaldehyde(MDA) is determined as an index for lipid peroxidation both in vitro and vivo. Mice were pre-treated with LA and LAd for 3 d.Thereafter, they were induced to have incomplete cerebral ischemia with both bilateral carotid artery occlusion and hypotension(BCAOH). In the first part of the in vivo experiment, mice were divided into four groups: sham(control), ischemia, ischemia + LA(200 mg/kg, i.g.) and ischemia + LAd(200 mg/kg, i.g.). In the second part, the dose-response of LAd was investigated at 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg i.g., respectively. A modified neurological severity score was developed for evaluating behavioral deficits of the mice with ischemia. Brains of the mice were excised in order to determinate MDA after ischemia for 6 h. Survival time, survival rate, neurological injury score and MDA level in brains were observed. Results were: 1) The data in vitro showed that both LA and LAd could inhibit the generation of MDA. 8Global searches of frozen orbits around an oblate Earth-like planet显示文摘A frozen orbit is beneficial for observation owing to its stationary apsidal line.The traditional gravitational field model of frozen orbits only considers the main zonal harmonic terms J_(2) and limited high-order terms,which cannot meet the stringent demands of all missions.In this study,the gravitational field is expanded to J_(15) terms and the Hamiltonian canonical form described by the Delaunay variables is used.The zonal harmonic coefficients of the Earth are chosen as the sample.Short-periodic terms are eliminated based on the Hori-Lie transformation.An algorithm is developed to solve all equilibrium points of the Hamiltonian function.A stable frozen orbit with an argument of perigee that equals neither 90°nor 270°is first reported in this paper.The local stability and topology of the equilibrium points are obtained from their eigenvalues.The bifurcations of the equilibrium points are presented by drawing their global long-term evolution of frozen orbits and their orbital periods.The relationship between the terms of the gravitational field and number of frozen points is addressed to explain why only limited frozen orbits are found in the low-order term case.The analytical results can be applied to other Earth-like planets and asteroids.Yuechen Ma Yanchao He Ming Xu Yaru Zheng 2022Astrodynamics2022,6,3:0

12Outage Performance and Optimal Design of MIMO-NOMA Enhanced Small Cell Networks with Imperfect Channel-State Information显示文摘This paper focuses on boosting the performance of small cell networks(SCNs)by integrating multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)and nonorthogonal multiple access(NOMA)in consideration of imperfect channel-state information(CSI).The estimation error and the spatial randomness of base stations(BSs)are characterized by using Kronecker model and Poisson point process(PPP),respectively.The outage probabilities of MIMO-NOMA enhanced SCNs are first derived in closed-form by taking into account two grouping policies,including random grouping and distance-based grouping.It is revealed that the average outage probabilities are irrelevant to the intensity of BSs in the interference-limited regime,while the outage performance deteriorates if the intensity is sufficiently low.Besides,as the channel uncertainty lessens,the asymptotic analyses manifest that the target rates must be restricted up to a bound to achieve an arbitrarily low outage probability in the absence of the inter-cell interference.Moreover,highly correlated estimation error ameliorates the outage performance under a low quality of CSI,otherwise it behaves oppositely.Afterwards,the goodput is maximized by choosing appropriate precoding matrix,receiver filters and transmission rates.In the end,the numerical results verify our analysis and corroborate the superiority of our proposed algorithm.Zheng Shi Hong Wang Yaru Fu Guanghua Yang Shaodan Ma Xinrong Ye 2021China Communications2021,18,10:0
13Label-free breast cancer detection and classification by convolutional neural network-based on exosomes surface-enhanced raman scattering显示文摘Because the breast cancer is an important factor that threatens women's lives and health,early diagnosis is helpful for disease screening and a good prognosis.Exosomes are nanovesicles,secreted from cells and other body fluids,which can reflect the genetic and phenotypic status of parental cells.Compared with other methods for early diagnosis of cancer(such as circulating tumor cells(CTCs)and circulating tumor DNA),exosomes have a richer number and stronger biological stability,and have great potential in early diagnosis.Thus,it has been proposed as promising biomarkers for diagnosis of early-stage cancer.However,distinguishing different exosomes remain is a major biomedical challenge.In this paper,we used predictive Convolutional Neural model to detect and analyze exosomes of normal and cancer cells with surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS).As a result,it can be seen from the SERS spectra that the exosomes of MCF-7,MDA-MB-231 and MCF-10A cells have similar peaks(939,1145 and 1380 cm^(-1)).Based on this dataset,the predictive model can achieve 95%accuracy.Compared with principal component analysis(PCA),the trained CNN can classify exosomes from different breast cancer cells with a superior performance.The results indicate that using the sensitivity of Raman detection and exosomes stable presence in the incubation period of cancer cells,SERS detection combined with CNN screening may be used for the early diagnosis of breast cancer in the future.Xiao Ma Honglian Xiong Jinhao Guo Zhiming Liu Yaru Han Mingdi Liu Yanxian Guo Mingyi Wang Huiqing Zhong Zhouyi Guo 2023Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,2:0
14Pb(II)adsorption by biochar from co-pyrolysis of corn stalks and alkali-fused fly ash显示文摘Numerous studies have reported the potential of silica as a biochar(BC)modifier.However,despite its high silica content,fly ash is rarely used for BC modification.Herein,modified BCs were produced by co-pyrolysis of corn stalks with alkali-fused fly ash(AFFA)at 200 and 600℃(denoted as AFFA/BC).The Pb(Ⅱ)adsorption mechanism and adsorption performance were investigated.The AFFA/BC had larger specific surface areas than the pure BC samples(2.54-137 vs.0.50 m2 g^(−1))owing to their stable carbon structure.The Pb(Ⅱ)adsorption capacity of AFFA/BC in water was approximately 6%higher than that of BC owing to the increased cation(Na+)exchange and new bonding sites,such as C-O and Si-O.AFFA/BC exhibited good Pb(Ⅱ)adsorption performance in high-concentration simulated wastewater(pH 4-6),with a maximum adsorption capacity of 110.29 mg g^(−1).The Pb(Ⅱ)adsorption mechanism was in accordance with the pseudo-second-order kinetic and Langmuir isotherm models.At 25℃and pH 5,the theoretical Pb(Ⅱ)adsorption capacities of AFFA200/BC and AFFA600/BC were 201.66 and 186.81 mg g^(−1),respectively,compared to 145.98 mg g^(−1)of BC.Physical adsorption,precipitation,cation exchange,and complexation were identified as the main Pb(Ⅱ)adsorption mechanisms through X-ray photoelectron spectrometry.Xiaotong Yun Yan Ma Hao Zheng Yaru Zhang Biying Cui Baoshan Xing 2022Biochar2022,4,1:0

18Distinct roles of pH and organic ligands in the dissolution of goethite by cysteine显示文摘Electron shuttles such cysteine play an important role in Fe cycle and its availability in soils,while the roles of pH and organic ligands in this process are poorly understood.Herein,the reductive dissolution process of goethite by cysteine were explored in the presence of organic ligands.Our results showed that cysteine exhibited a strong reactivity towards goethite-a typical iron minerals in paddy soils with a rate constant ranging from 0.01 to0.1 hr^(-1).However,a large portion of Fe(Ⅱ) appeared to be 'structural species' retained on the surface.The decline of pH was favorable to generate more Fe(Ⅱ) ions and enhancing tendency of Fe(Ⅱ) release to solution.The decline of generation of Fe(Ⅱ) by increasing pH was likely to be caused by a lower redox potential and the nature of cysteine pH-dependent adsorption towards goethite.Interestingly,the co-existence of oxalate and citrate ligands also enhanced the rate constant of Fe(Ⅱ) release from 0.09 to 0.15 hr-1;nevertheless,they negligibly affected the overall generation of Fe(Ⅱ) in opposition to the pH effect.Further spectroscopic evidence demonstrated that two molecules of cysteine could form disulfide bonds(S-S) to generate cystine through oxidative dehydration,and subsequently,inducing electron transfer from cysteine to the structural Fe(Ⅲ) on goethite;meanwhile,those organic ligands act as Fe(Ⅱ) 'strippers'.The findings of this work provide new insights into the understanding of the different roles of pH and organic ligands on the generation and release of Fe induced by electron shuttles in soils.Ji Li Chenlu Shi Wenbin Zeng Yaru Wang Zebin Hong Yibing Ma Liping Fang 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,3:0
