3100 Hertz frame-rate switching threedimensional orbital angular momentum multiplexing holography via cross convolution显示文摘The orbital angular momentum(OAM)of light has been implemented as an information carrier in OAM holography.Holographic information can be multiplexed in theoretical unbounded OAM channels,promoting the applications of optically addressable dynamic display and high-security optical encryption.However,the frame-rate of the dynamic extraction of the information reconstruction process in OAM holography is physically determined by the switching speed of the incident OAM states,which is currently below 30 Hz limited by refreshing rate of the phase-modulation spatial light modulator(SLM).Here,based on a cross convolution with the spatial frequency of the OAM-multiplexing hologram,the spatial frequencies of an elaborately-designed amplitude distribution,namely amplitude decoding key,has been adopted for the extraction of three-dimensional holographic information encoded in a specific OAM information channel.We experimentally demonstrated a dynamic extraction frame rate of 100 Hz from an OAM multiplexing hologram with 10 information channels indicated by individual OAM values from-50 to 50.The new concept of cross convolution theorem can even provide the potential of parallel reproduction and distribution of information encoded in many OAM channels at various positions which boosts the capacity of information processing far beyond the traditional decoding methods.Thus,our results provide a holographic paradigm for high-speed 3D information processing,paving an unprecedented way to achieve the high-capacity short-range optical communication system.Weijia Meng Yilin Hua Ke Cheng Baoli Li Tingting Liu Qinyu Chen Haitao Luan Min Gu Xinyuan Fang 2022Opto-Electronic Science2022,1,9:2

7Image Generation of Tomato Leaf Disease Identification Based on Small-ACGAN显示文摘Plant diseases have become a challenging threat in the agricultural field.Various learning approaches for plant disease detection and classification have been adopted to detect and diagnose these diseases early.However,deep learning entails extensive data for training,and it may be challenging to collect plant datasets.Even though plant datasets can be collected,they may be uneven in quantity.As a result,the problem of classification model overfitting arises.This study targets this issue and proposes an auxiliary classifier GAN(small-ACGAN)model based on a small number of datasets to extend the available data.First,after comparing various attention mechanisms,this paper chose to add the lightweight Coordinate Attention(CA)to the generator module of Auxiliary Classifier GANs(ACGAN)to improve the image quality.Then,a gradient penalty mechanism was added to the loss function to improve the training stability of the model.Experiments show that the proposed method can best improve the recognition accuracy of the classifier with the doubled dataset.On AlexNet,the accuracy was increased by 11.2%.In addition,small-ACGAN outperformed the other three GANs used in the experiment.Moreover,the experimental accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 scores of the five convolutional neural network(CNN)classifiers on the enhanced dataset improved by an average of 3.74%,3.48%,3.74%,and 3.80%compared to the original dataset.Furthermore,the accuracy of MobileNetV3 reached 97.9%,which fully demonstrated the feasibility of this approach.The general experimental results indicate that the method proposed in this paper provides a new dataset expansion method for effectively improving the identification accuracy and can play an essential role in expanding the dataset of the sparse number of plant diseases.Huaxin Zhou Ziying Fang Yilin Wang Mengjun Tong 2023Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,7:1
8Genome-wide Analysis of a Plant AT-rich Sequence and Zinc-binding Protein (PLATZ) in Triticum Aestivum显示文摘Plant AT-rich sequence and zinc-binding protein(PLATZ)is a plant transcription factor that has been studied in corn.PLATZ can non-specifically bind to sequences rich in A/T bases to induce transcriptional repression.It is involved in the regulation of dehydration tolerance in seeds.In this study,we performed bioinformatics analysis to identify and characterize wheat PLATZ(TaPLATZ)genes.We identified 49 wheat PLATZ genes by searching the wheat genome by using known PLATZ gene sequences from rice,Arabidopsis,and maize.Phylogenetic analysis on PLATZ gene sequences from different species was performed.We found that PLATZs could be divided into three groups.The chromosome(chr)distribution analysis revealed that the 49 identified wheat PLATZ genes are distributed in 15 chrs.Gene structure and motif analyses indicated that most PLATZ genes possess conserved exon/intron arrangements and motif compositions.Our analysis of transcriptional data indicated that several wheat PLATZ genes may play an important role in abiotic stress resistance given that they are expressed under salt stress.The results of qRT-PCR further confirmed that TaPLATZ is involved in plant abiotic stress and is also related to the cell differentiation of plant tissues.Our results lay the foundation for further studies on the function of the wheat PLATZ gene family.Xiaohang He Minjie Liu Zhengwu Fang Dongfang Ma Yilin Zhou Junliang Yin 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,3:1
9Ionic liquids in transdermal drug delivery system: Current applications and future perspectives显示文摘The transdermal drug delivery(TDD) shows considerable advantages over other administration pathways.However, conventional enhancing permeation methods face a series of challenges owing to barrier function provided by the skin, of which enhancing abilities either are so strong that it results in toxicity and irritation, or too weak to achieve desirable therapeutical effects. To address these issues, it is an urgent need to develop a novel method to overcome the limitations of current measures. Fortunately, in the preceding decades, ionic liquids(ILs) have been extensively studied and increasingly applied in pharmaceutical drug delivery due to their unique physicochemical and biological properties. What is more, tunability of structure resolves the challenges in processing active pharmaceutical ingredient(API) formulation, such as polymorphism and poor solubility of drugs. Thus, the presence of ILs provides an ample design space for the transdermal drug delivery system(TDDS). This review discusses the shortcomings of conventional enhancing permeation methods and introduces the application of ILs in transdermal delivery from three aspects: i) ILs are applied as enhancers to weaken the barrier function of the stratum corneum(SC). ii) As counterions, ILs are combined with API to modify the physicochemical properties of drugs. iii) ILs assist in the design of transdermal preparation for perfecting formulation. 10Antibacterial mechanism of kojic acid and tea polyphenols against Escherichia coli O157:H7 through transcriptomic analysis显示文摘Escherichia coli O157:H7 is one of the major foodborne pathogenic bacterial that cause infectious diseases in humans.The previous found that a combination of kojic acid and tea polyphenols exhibited better activity against E.coli O157:H7 than using either alone.This study aimed to explore responses underlying the antibacterial mechanisms of kojic acid and tea polyphenols from the gene level.The functional enrichment analysis by comparing kojic acid and tea polyphenols individually or synergistically against E.coli O157:H7 found that acid resistance systems in kojic acid were activated,and the cell membrane and genomic DNA were destructed in the cells,resulting in“oxygen starvation”.The oxidative stress response triggered by tea polyphenols inhibited both sulfur uptake and the synthesis of ATP,which affected the bacteria's life metabolic process.Interestingly,we found that kojic acid combined with tea polyphenols hindered the uptake of iron that played an essential role in the synthesis of DNA,respiration,tricarboxylic acid cycle.The results suggested that the iron uptake pathways may represent a novel approach for kojic acid and tea polyphenols synergistically against E.coli O157:H7 and provided a theoretical basis for bacterial pathogen control in the food industry.Yilin Lin Ruifei Wang Xiaoqing Li Keren Agyekumwaa Addo Meimei Fang Yehui Zhang Yigang Yu 2024Food Science and Human Wellness2024,13,2:1

13CEO Age, Earnings Management and Mergers & Acquisitions Evidence from China显示文摘This paper explores the relationship between CEO age in target firms, earnings management, mergers and acquisitions decision-making, and performance by using a sample of Chinese firms from 2008 to 2017. We found that CEO age is negatively correlated with M&A decision-making and target firms engage in a higher degree accrual-based earnings management(AEM) than non-target firms. In addition, target firms with young CEOs exhibit a greater extent of AEM in the pre-M&A period. We also found that the relationship between CEO age and M&A performance is inverted U-shaped. 14A preliminary site selection system for underground hydrogen storage in salt caverns and its application in Pingdingshan,China显示文摘Large‐scale underground hydrogen storage(UHS)provides a promising method for increasing the role of hydrogen in the process of carbon neutrality and energy transition.Of all the existing storage deposits,salt caverns are recognized as ideal sites for pure hydrogen storage.Evaluation and optimization of site selection for hydrogen storage facilities in salt caverns have become significant issues.In this article,the software CiteSpace is used to analyze and filter hot topics in published research.Based on a detailed classification and analysis,a“four‐factor”model for the site selection of salt cavern hydrogen storage is proposed,encompassing the dynamic demands of hydrogen energy,geological,hydrological,and ground factors of salt mines.Subsequently,20 basic indicators for comprehensive suitability grading of the target site were screened using the analytic hierarchy process and expert survey methods were adopted,which provided a preliminary site selection system for salt cavern hydrogen storage.Ultimately,the developed system was applied for the evaluation of salt cavern hydrogen storage sites in the salt mines of Pingdingshan City,Henan Province,thereby confirming its rationality and effectiveness.This research provides a feasible method and theoretical basis for the site selection of UHS in salt caverns in China.Liangchao Huang Yanli Fang Zhengmeng Hou Yachen Xie Lin Wu Jiashun Luo Qichen Wang Yilin Guo Wei Sun 2024Deep Underground Science and Engineering2024,3,1:0

17Acoustic Characteristics of Advertisement Calls in Babina adenopleura显示文摘Acoustic communication is the most important form of communication in anuran amphibians. To understand the acoustic characteristics of male Babina adenopleura, we recorded advertisement calls and analyzed their acoustic parameters during the breeding season. Male B. adenopleura produced calls with a variable number of notes(1–5), and each note contained harmonics. Although 6% of call notes did not exhibit frequency modulation(FM), two call note FM patterns were observed:(1) upward FM;(2) upward–downward FM. With the exception of 1- and 5- note calls, the duration of successive notes decreased monotonically. With the exception of 1 note calls, the fundamental frequency of the first note was lowest, then increased; the greatest change in the fundamental frequency was always between notes 1 and 2. The dominant frequency varied between calls. For example for the first call note the dominant frequency occurred in some cases in the first harmonic(located in the 605.320 ± 64.533 Hz frequency band), the second harmonic(918 ± 9 Hz band), the fourth harmonic(1712 ± 333 Hz band), the sixth harmonic(the 2165 ± 152 Hz band), the seventh harmonic(the 2269 ± 140 Hz band), the eighth harmonic(the 2466 ± 15 Hz band) or the ninth harmonic(the 2636 ± 21 Hz band). 20Decade Milestone Advancement of Defect-Engineered g-C_(3)N_(4) for Solar Catalytic Applications显示文摘Over the past decade, graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)) has emerged as a universal photocatalyst toward various sustainable carbo-neutral technologies. Despite solar applications discrepancy, g-C_(3)N_(4) is still confronted with a general fatal issue of insufficient supply of thermodynamically active photocarriers due to its inferior solar harvesting ability and sluggish charge transfer dynamics. Fortunately, this could be significantly alleviated by the “all-in-one” defect engineering strategy, which enables a simultaneous amelioration of both textural uniqueness and intrinsic electronic band structures. To this end, we have summarized an unprecedently comprehensive discussion on defect controls including the vacancy/non-metallic dopant creation with optimized electronic band structure and electronic density, metallic doping with ultraactive coordinated environment(M–N_(x), M–C_(2)N_(2), M–O bonding), functional group grafting with optimized band structure, and promoted crystallinity with extended conjugation π system with weakened interlayered van der Waals interaction. Among them, the defect states induced by various defect types such as N vacancy, P/S/halogen dopants, and cyano group in boosting solar harvesting and accelerating photocarrier transfer have also been emphasized. More importantly, the shallow defect traps identified by femtosecond transient absorption spectra(fs-TAS) have also been highlighted.
