2Improved image resolution on thoracic carcinomas by quantitative 18F-FDG coincidence SPECT/CT in comparison to 18F-FDG PET/CT显示文摘Currently,18F-FDG coincidence SPECT(Co-SPECT)/CT scan still serves as an important tool for diagnosis,staging,and evaluation of cancer treatment in developing countries.We implemented full physical corrections(FPC) to Co-SPECT(quantitative Co-SPECT) to improve the image resolution and contrast along with the capability for image quantitation.FPC included attenuation,scatter,resolution recovery,and noise reduction.A standard NEMA phantom filled with 10:1 F-18 activity concentration ratio in spheres and background was utilized to evaluate image performance.Subsequently,15 patients with histologically confirmed thoracic carcinomas were included to undergo a 18 F-FDG Co-SPECT/CT scan followed by a 18 F-FDG PET/CT scan.Functional parameters as SUVmax,SUVmean,SULpeak,and MTV from both quantitative Co-SPECT and PET were analyzed.Image resolution of Co-SPECT for NEMA phantom was improved to reveal the smallest sphere from a diameter of 28 mm to 22 mm(17 mm for PET).The image contrast was enhanced from 1.7 to 6.32(6.69 for PET) with slightly degraded uniformity in background(3.1% vs.6.7%)(5.6% for PET).Patients’ SUVmax,SUVmean,SULpeak,and MTV measured from quantitative Co-SPECT were overall highly correlated with those from PET(r=0.82-0.88).Adjustment of the threshold of SUVmax and SUV to determine SUVmean and MTV did not further change the correlations with PET(r=0.81-0.88).Adding full physical corrections to Co-SPECT images can significantly improve image resolution and contrast to reveal smaller tumor lesions along with the capability to quantify functional parameters like PET/CT.Yuming Zheng Chaoling Jin Huijuan Cui Haojie Dai Jue Yan Pingping Han Bailing Hsu 2020The Journal of Biomedical Research2020,34,4:2

4Enhanced thermal conductivity of epoxy composites with core-shell SiC@SiO_(2) nanowires显示文摘Electronic packaging materials and thermal interface materials(TIMs)are widely used in thermal management.In this study,the epoxy composites with core-shell structure SiC@SiO_(2) nanowires(SiC@SiO_(2) NWs)as fillers could effectively enhance the thermal conductivity of epoxy composites.The unique structure of fillers results in a high thermal conductivity of epoxy composites,which is attributed to good interfacial compatibility epoxy matrix and bridging connections of SiC@SiO_(2) NWs.From neat epoxy to 2.5 wt%loading of SiC@SiO_(2) NWs,the thermal conductivity is significantly increased from 0.218 to 0.391 W m^(−1) K^(−1),increased by 79.4%.In addition,the composite with 2.5 wt%filler possess lower coefficient of thermal expansion and better thermal stability than that of neat epoxy.All these outstanding properties imply that epoxy/SiC@SiO_(2) NWs composites could be the ideal candidate for TIM.Dianyu Shen Mengjie Wang Yuming Wu Zhiduo Liu Yong Cao Ting Wang Xinfeng Wu Qingtang Shi Kuan W.A.Chee Wen Dai Hua Bai Dan Dai Jilei Lyu Nan Jiang Cheng-Te Lin Jinhong Yu 2017High Voltage2017,2,3:1
5A low-energy ion spectrometer with half-space entrance for three-axis stabilized spacecraft显示文摘A low-energy ion spectrometer(LEIS) for use aboard three-axis stabilized spacecraft has been developed to measure ion energy per charge distribution in three-dimensional space with good energy-, angular-and temporal-resolutions. For the standard top-hat electrostatic analyzer used widely in space plasma detection, three-axis stabilized spacecraft makes it difficult to obtain complete coverage of all possible ion arrival directions. We have designed angular scanning deflectors supplementing to a cylindrically symmetric top-hat electrostatic analyzer to provide a half-space field of view as 360°×90°(–45°–+45°), and fabricated the LEIS flight model for detecting magnetospheric ions in geosynchronous orbit. The performance of this payload has been evaluated in detail by a series of simulation and environmental tests, and the payload has also been calibrated through laboratory experiments using a low-energy ion source. 12Elastic and Thermo-physical Properties of Stannite-type Cu_2ZnSnS_4 and Cu_2ZnSnSe_4 from First-principles Calculations显示文摘Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) and Cu2ZnSnSe4 (CZTSe) with optimum band gaps about 1.5 eV are important absorbers for solar cells. The elastic constants and the thermo-physical properties of the stannite-type CZTS and CZTSe are calculated by using density-functional theory (DFT) and the quasi-harmonic Debye model. The bonding strength along the [100] and [010] directions is the same to that along the [001] direction and the shear elastic properties of the {001} plane are anisotropic for CZTS and CZTSe. Both compounds exhibit ductile behavior due to their high ratio of bulk modulus to shear modulus (K/G). The values of thermal capacity are close to 200 J/(mol·K) at above 300 K, and the thermal expansion coefficients decrease with increasing pressure at same temperature. The entropy is variable by power-exponent, and the internal energy is almost linear with increasing temperature for CZTS and CZTSe. The Gibbs energy of CZTS is lower than that of CZTSe under same temperature and pressure. 14Entropy-driven self-assembly of tethered Janus nanoparticles on a sphere显示文摘Understanding the effect of curvature and topological frustration on self-assembly yields insight into the mechanistic details of the ordering of identical subunits in curved spaces,such as the assembly of viral capsids,growth of solid domains on vesicles,and the self-assembly of molecular monolayers.However,the self-assembly of nanoparticles with anisotropic surface topology and compartmentalization on curved surfaces remains elusive.By combining large-scale molecular simulations as well as theoretical analysis,we demonstrate here that the interplay among anisotropy,curvature,and chain conformation induces tethered Janus nanoparticles to self-assemble into diverse novel structures on a sphere,including binary nanocluster(C_(B)),trinary nanocluster(C_(T)),nanoribbon(R_(N))and hexagon with centered reverse(HR),which are mapped on a phase diagram related to the length asymmetry of tethered chains and Janus balance of the nanoparticles.The dynamical mechanism for the formation of these structure states is analyzed by examining the detailed kinetic pathways as well as free energy.We also show that the centered-reverse state is more prone to emerging around the topological defects,indicating the defect-enhanced entropy effect on a curved surface.Finally,the analytical model that rationalizes the regimes of these structure states is developed and fits simulations reasonably well,resulting in a mechanistic interpretation based on the order through entropy.Our findings shed light on curvature engineering as a versatile strategy to tailor the superstructures formed by anisotropic building blocks toward unique properties.Guolong Zhu Yuming Wang Lijuan Gao Ziyang Xu Xuanyu Zhang Xiaobin Dai Lijun Dai Cuiling Hou Li-Tang Yan 2021Fundamental Research2021,1,5:0
15Effect of complexing agent concentration on properties of CdZnS thin films in ammonia-thiourea system显示文摘In this paper,the effects of different concentrations of complexing agent(ammonia)on the surface morphology,composition,structure and photoelectric properties of Cd Zn S films were studied.The results of X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and UV-visible spectrum showed that the surface morphology of the films became worse and the content of zinc decreased significantly with the increase of ammonia concentration.The crystalline phase of Cd Zn S films was not influenced by the ammonia concentration.Because the film has good absorbance,transmittance greater than 70%and band gap width between 3.5 eV and 3.07 eV,it is suitable to be used as a buffer layer for solar cells.Cd S,Zn O and Zn(OH)_(2) were found in the precipitates at the bottom of the solution,and the formation of these precipitates affected the properties of the Cd Zn S films.Lü Chaoqun XUE Yuming DAI Hongli WANG Luoxin WANG Yifan XIE Xin 2023Optoelectronics Letters2023,19,4:0
16Structural,electrochemical and cycling properties of Nb^(5+)doped LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)cathode materials at different calcination temperatures for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)cathode material is prepared by sol-gel method and the effects of Nb^(5+)doping and different calcination temperatures on cathode materials were deeply investigated.Structural and morphological characterizations revealed that the optimal content of 1 mol%Nb^(5+)can stabilize layered structures,mitigate Ni^(2+)migration to Li layers,improve lithium diffusion capacity,and reduce lattice expansion/shrinkage while cycling.And calcination temperature at 800℃can not only ensure good morphology,but also suppress the mixed discharge of lithium and nickel in the internal structure.Electrochemical performance evaluation revealed that Nb^(5+)doping improves the discharge-specific capacity of the material,which is conducive to ameliorating its rate capability and cycle performance.And the material at 800℃exhibits the highest discharge specific capacity,the best magnification performance,low polarizability,and the best cycle reversibility.WANG Jiangchao XUE Yuming DAI Hongli WANG Luoxin ZHANG Jiuchao HU Zhaoshuo 2023Optoelectronics Letters2023,19,9:0
17Effect of solvent on Se-modified ruthenium/carbon catalyst for oxygen reduction显示文摘Se-modified ruthenium supporting on carbon(Sex–Ru/C) electrocatalyst was prepared by solvothermal one-step synthesis method. The reaction mechanism was revealed after discussing impact of different solvents(i-propanol and EG) in solvotermal reaction. The result showed that the grain size of Se-modified ruthenium electrocatalyst was as small as 1 to 3 nm and highly dispersed on carbon surface. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) presented that selenium mainly existed in the catalyst in the form of elemental selenium and selenium oxides when the solvent was EG and i-propanol, respectively. 18High-throughput genome editing in rice with a virus-based surrogate system显示文摘With the widespread use of clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats(CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated nuclease(Cas) technologies in plants, large-scale genome editing is increasingly needed. Here, we developed a geminivirus-mediated surrogate system, called Wheat Dwarf Virus-Gate(WDV-surrogate), to facilitate high-throughput genome editing.WDV-Gate has two parts: one is the recipient callus from a transgenic rice line expressing Cas9 and a mutated hygromycin-resistant gene(HygM) for surrogate selection;the other is a WDV-based construct expressing two single guide RNAs(sgRNAs) targeting HygM and a gene of interest, respectively. We evaluated WDV-Gate on six rice loci by producing a total of 874 T_0 plants. Compared with the conventional method, the WDV-Gate system, which was characterized by a transient and high level of sgRNA expression, significantly increased editing frequency(66.8% vs. 90.1%), plantlet regeneration efficiency(2.31-fold increase), and numbers of homozygous-edited plants(36.3%vs. 70.7%). Large-scale editing using pooled sg RNAs targeting the SLR1 gene resulted in a high editing frequency of 94.4%, further demonstrating its feasibility. We also tested WDVGate on sequence knock-in for protein tagging.By co-delivering a chemically modified donor DNA with the WDV-Gate plasmid, 3xFLAG peptides were successfully fused to three loci with an efficiency of up to 13%. 20Effect of preheating and annealing temperature on the microstructure and optoelectronic properties of CZTS films prepared by sol-gel method显示文摘The effects of different preheating and annealing temperatures on the surface morphology,microstructure,and optical properties of Cu_(2)ZnSnS_(4)(CZTS) thin films are investigated by controlling the preheating and annealing temperatures.The prepared thin films were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and ultra-violet-visible(UV-Vis) spectroscopy techniques.XRD and Raman spectroscopy showed that a Kesterite structure with a selective orientation along the(112) peak was generated,and the thin films produced at a preheating temperature of 300℃ and annealing temperature of 570℃ had fewer secondary phases,which was beneficial for improving the performance of the solar cells.SEM confirms that the crystallite size increases and then decreases as the temperature increases,and the largest and most uniform crystallite size with the smoothest surface is generated at the above preheating and annealing temperatures.UV-Vis measurements show that the thin films generated at the above temperature have the lowest transmittance and the lowest optical band gap value of 1.46 e V,which is close to the optimal band gap value for solar cells and is suitable as an absorber layer material.HU Zhaoshuo XUE Yuming DAI Hongli WANG Luoxin ZHANG Jiuchao WANG Jiangchao 2023Optoelectronics Letters2023,19,7:0
