| 3 | Effect of potential HONO sources on peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)formation in eastern China in winter显示文摘As an important secondary photochemical pollutant,peroxyacetyl nitrate(PAN)has been studied over decades,yet its simulations usually underestimate the corresponding observations,especially in polluted areas.Recent observations in north China found unusually high concentrations of PAN during wintertime heavy haze events,but the current model still cannot reproduce the observations,and researchers speculated that nitrous acid(HONO)played a key role in PAN formation.For the first time we systematically assessed the impact of potential HONO sources on PAN formation mechanisms in eastern China using the Weather Research and Forecasting/Chemistry(WRF-Chem)model in February of 2017.The results showed that the potential HONO sources significantly improved the PAN simulations,remarkably accelerated the RO x(sum of hydroxyl,hydroperoxyl,and organic peroxy radicals)cycles,and resulted in 80%–150%enhancements of PAN near the ground in the coastal areas of eastern China and 10%–50%enhancements in the areas around 35–40°N within 3 km during a heavy haze period.The direct precursors of PAN were aldehyde and methylglyoxal,and the primary precursors of PAN were alkenes with C>3,xylenes,propene and toluene.The above results suggest that the potential HONO sources should be considered in regional and global chemical transport models when conducting PAN studies. | Jingwei Zhang Yitian Guo Yu Qu Yong Chen Ruipeng Yu Chaoyang Xue Rui Yang Qiang Zhang Xingang Liu Yujing Mu Jing Wang Can Ye Haihan Zhao Qiangqiang Sun Ziwen Wang Junling An | 2020 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,8: | 3 |
| 4 | Growth–climate response and drought reconstruction from tree-ring of Mongolian pine in Hulunbuir,Northeast China显示文摘Aims Drought affected by atmosphere–ocean cycle is a dominant factor influencing tree radial growth of sandy Mongolian pine(Pinus sylvestris var.mongolica)and regional vegetation dynamics in Hulunbuir,China.However,historical droughts and its correlations with tree radial growth and atmosphere–ocean cycle in this area have been little tested.Methods We developed tree-ring chronologies of Mongolian pine from Hulunbuir,Inner Mongolia,China and analyzed the correlations between tree-ring width index,the normalized difference vegetation index and Palmer drought severity index(PDSI),then developed a linear model to reconstruct the drought variability from 1829 to 2009.Long-term trends and its linkages with atmosphere–ocean cycle were performed by the power spectral,wavelet and teleconnection analysis.Important Findings The local moisture variations affected largely the regional vegetation dynamics and tree-ring growth of Mongolia pine in the forest–grassland transition.Using tree-ring width chronology of Mongolian pine,the reconstruction explains 49.2%of PDSI variance during their common data period(1951–2005).The reconstruction gives a broad-scale regional representation of PDSI in the Hulunbuir area,with drought occurrences in the 1850s,1900s,1920s,mid-1930s and at the turn of the 21st century.Comparisons with other treering drought reconstructions and historical records reveal some common drought periods and drying trends in recent decades at the northern margin zones of the East Asian summer monsoon(EASM).The drying trends in these zones occurred earlier than weakening of the EASM.A REDFIT spectral analysis shows significant peaks at 7.2,3.9,2.7–2.8,2.4 and 2.2 years with a 0.05 significance level,and 36.9,18.1 and 5.0 years with 0.1 significance level.Wavelet analysis also shows similar cycles.Drought variations in the study area significantly correlated with sea surface temperatures in the western tropical Pacific Ocean and middle and northern Indian Ocean,and the Pacific Decadal Oscillation and North Atlantic Oscillation.This suggests a possible linkage with the El Niño-Southern Oscillation,the EASM and the Westerlies. | Zhongjie Shi Lihong Xu Linshui Dong Jixi Gao Xiaohui Yang Shihai Lü Chaoyang Feng Aiyun Song Hao Guo Xiao Zhang | 2016 | Journal of Plant Ecology2016,9,1: | 3 |

| 6 | Acute kidney injury following adult lung transplantation显示文摘Background:Acute kidney injury(AKI)is a common and serious complication following lung transplantation(LTx),and it is associated with high mortality and morbidity.This study assessed the incidence of AKI after LTx and analyzed the associated perioperative factors and clinical outcomes.Methods:This retrospective study included all adult LTx recipients at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing between March 2017 and December 2019.The outcomes were AKI incidence,risk factors,mortality,and kidney recovery.Multivariate analysis was performed to identify independent risk factors.Survival analysis was presented using the Kaplan-Meier curves.Results:AKI occurred in 137 of the 191 patients(71.7%),with transient AKI in 43(22.5%)and persistent AKI in 94(49.2%).AKI stage 1 occurred in 27/191(14.1%),stage 2 in 46/191(24.1%),and stage 3 in 64/191(33.5%)of the AKI patients.Renal replacement therapy(RRT)was administered to 35/191(18.3%)of the patients.Male sex,older age,mechanical ventilation(MV),severe hypotension,septic shock,multiple organ dysfunction(MODS),prolonged extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO),reintubation,and nephrotoxic agents were associated with AKI(P<0.050).Persistent AKI was independently associated with pre-operative pulmonary hypertension,severe hypotension,post-operative MODS,and nephrotoxic agents.Severe hypotension,septic shock,MODS,reintubation,prolonged MV,and ECMO during or after LTx were related to severe AKI(stage 3)(P<0.050).Patients with persistent and severe AKI had a significantly longer duration of MV,longer duration in the intensive care unit(ICU),worse downstream kidney function,and reduced survival(P<0.050).Conclusions:AKI is common after LTx,but the pathogenic mechanism of AKI is complicated,and prerenal causes are important.Persistent and severe AKI were associated with poor short-and long-term kidney function and reduced survival in LTx patients. | Lei Jing Wenhui Chen Li Zhao Lijuan Guo Chaoyang Liang Jingyu Chen Chen Wang | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,2: | 2 |
| 7 | Reversal of the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment via platinum-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy in cervical cancer显示文摘Background Immunotherapy favors patients with tumors;however,only 3-26.3%of patients with cervical cancer benefit from single-agent immune checkpoint inhibitors.Combined immunotherapy and chemotherapy has been explored against tumor;however,the combination remains controversial.This study aimed to investigate the tumor immune microenvironment(TIME)and the effects of platinum-based neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NACT)in cervical cancer to identify the clinical value of combining chemotherapy with immunotherapy.Methods Multiplex immunohistochemistry(IHC)with 11 markers(cluster of differentiation[CD]3,CD8,CD4,CD11c,CD68,forkhead box P3[Foxp3],programmed cell death 1[PD-1],programmed cell death 1 ligand 1[PD-L1],indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase[IDO],cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A[p16],and cytokeratin[CK])was performed to evaluate TIME from 108 matched pre-and post-NACT cervical cancer samples.The mechanism of antitumor immunity triggered by NACT was explored using RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)from four paired samples and subsequently verified in 41 samples using IHC.Results The infiltration rate of the CD8^(+)T cells in treatment-naive cervical cancer was 0.73%,and those of Foxp3^(+)regulatory T cells(Tregs)and IDO^(+)cells were 0.87%and 17.15%,respectively.Moreover,immunoreactive T cells,dendritic cells,and macrophages were more in the stromal than the intratumor region.NACT increased dendritic,CD3^(+)T,CD8^(+)T,and CD4^(+)T cells and decreased Tregs.The aforementioned alterations occurred predominantly in the stromal region and were primarily in responders.Non-responders primarily showed decreased Tregs and no increase in CD8^(+)T or dendritic cell infiltration.Furthermore,dendritic cells interacted more closely with CD3^(+)T cells after NACT,an effect primarily observed in responders.RNA-seq data revealed activation of the antigen receptor-mediated signaling pathway and upregulation of major histocompatibility complex(MHC)I and MHC II after chemotherapy,validated using IHC.Conclusions NACT can reduce Tregs,and when tumor cells are effectively killed,antigen presentation is enhanced,subsequently activating antitumor immunity finitely.Our study provides the molecular characteristics and theoretical basis for the simultaneous or sequential combination of platinum-based NACT and immunotherapy for cervical cancer. | Xue Feng Xiaolin Meng Dihong Tang Shuaiqingying Guo Qiuyue Liao Jing Chen Qin Xie Fengyuan Liu Yong Fang Chaoyang Sun Yingyan Han Jihui Ai Kezhen Li | 2024 | Cancer Pathogenesis and Therapy2024,2,1: | 1 |

| 9 | Trusted autonomic service cooperation model and application development framework显示文摘To achieve the dynamical on-requirement self-organization and self-evolution of virtual organizations(VOs) by autonomic service cooperation is an excellent approach for developing assembled serviceoriented application software systems in the Internet computing environment. However,this approach,due to the fact that the autonomic individual behaviors are difficult to be predicted and controlled,encounters the 'trust' crisis of cooperation effect. In order to solve the above crisis,this paper proposes a model of Norm-Governed and Policy-Driven autonomic service cooperation(NGPD) . The key idea of NGPD is to constrain and govern the cooperation behaviors and their evolutions of autonomic individuals by formulating systematic standards of social structures and the coupling norms of cooperation behaviors,and thereby the cooperation behaviors(i.e. behaviors for providing and requiring services) of autonomic individuals and the cooperation effect can be controlled,predicted,and then become trusted. Furthermore,NGPD provides the 'macro-micro' link mode to support the operationlevel implementation of macro-government and creates the policy-driven self-management mechanism for individual behaviors to achieve the mapping from the macro-government to the micro-behaviors. Thus,the effect of the macro-government can be exerted to autonomic individuals so that they can exhibit the intellect for conforming to service contracts and cooperation behavior norms,but still keep high autonomy again. Along with the settlement of this 'trust' crisis,NGPD can overcome the limitation introduced by non-autonomic service cooperation,and thus make the autonomy and change-response ability of service cooperation exhibit the advantages of robustness and intelligence which cannot be reached by traditional service cooperation techniques. Furthermore,NGPD also establishes the solid foundation for developing the norm-driven and contract-ensured self-organization of hierarchical cooperation and the cooperation self-adaptation and self-evolution driven by contract-performing circumstance. The precoder and decoder matrices are optimized in terms of sum mean squared error(MSE) and capacity, respectively. For the MSE minimization problem, we present an alternative transceiver optimization algorithm. While for the non-convex capacity maximization problem, we decompose the primal problem into a sequence of standard convex quadratic programs for efficient optimization. | 20 | An Efficient Substation Placement and Sizing Strategy Based on GIS Using Semi-supervised Learning显示文摘As load and renewable penetration continues to grow,optimal placement and sizing of substations is becoming increasingly important in distribution system planning.This paper presents an improved methodology to solve the substation siting and sizing problem based on geographic information and supervised learning.The proposed approach can optimize the locations,capacities,and power supply ranges of substations with minimum investment and annual operation costs.Capital cost of land adds complexity and difficulty to the substation placement problem,especially for highly developed urban areas.This paper presents a theoretical framework to determine the optimal location of substations considering the cost of land.The state-of-the-art parallel computing techniques are employed so that co-optimization for substations of multiple voltage levels can be directly conducted in a computational efficient way.Case studies are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. | Li Yu Di Shi Xiaobin Guo Zhen Jiang Guangyue Xu Ganyang Jian Jinyong Lei Chaoyang Jing | 2018 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,3: | 0 |
