1Chemical and optical properties of aerosols and their interrelationship in winter in the megacity Shanghai of China显示文摘A field campaign on air quality was carried out in Shanghai in winter of 2012. The concentrations of NO, NO2, NOx, SO2, CO, and PM2.5increased during haze formation. The average masses of SO42-, NO3-and NH4+were 10.3, 11.7 and 6.7 μg/m3 during the haze episodes, which exceeded the average(9.2, 7.9, and 3.4 μg/m3) of these components in the non-haze days. The mean values for the aerosol scattering coefficient(b sp), aerosol absorption coefficient(b ap) and single scattering albedo(SSA) were 288.7, 27.7 and0.91 Mm-1, respectively. A bi-peak distribution was observed for the mass concentrations of CO, NO, NO2, and NOx. More sulfate was produced during daytime than that in the evening due to photochemical reactions. The mass concentration of NH4+achieved a small peak at noontime. NO3-showed lower concentrations in the afternoon and higher concentrations in the early morning. There were obvious bi-peak diurnal patterns for b sp and b ap as well as SSA. b sp and b ap showed a positive correlation with PM2.5mass concentration.(NH4)2SO4, NH4NO3, organic mass, elemental carbon and coarse mass accounted for 21.7%, 19.3%, 31.0%, 9.3% and 12.3% of the total extinction coefficient during non-haze days, and 25.6%, 24.3%, 30.1%, 8.1% and 8.2% during hazy days. Organic matter was the largest contributor to light extinction. 2Climatic and lake environmental changes in the Serling Co region of Tibet over a variety of timescales显示文摘The Serling Co region is located at the transitional zone of the interaction between the Indian monsoon and the westerlies over the Tibetan Plateau. The Serling Co lake covers a water area of2,389 km2(June 2017) in a 45,530 km2drainage basin. 3Broken Rotor Bar Fault Diagnosis of Induction Motors Using a Hybrid Bare-bones Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm显示文摘在传统定子电流频谱分析中,感应电机转子断条故障特征经常被基波分量淹没而无法准确检测。针对该问题,提出一种基于混合骨干微粒群优化算法的转子断条故障诊断新方法。该方法首先根据电流信号与单位余弦基函数的内积最大准则,利用混合骨干微粒群算法强大的全局搜索能力,准确估计出基波波形参数;然后利用波形参数构造出基波表达式,并将其从原电流信号中剔除,达到突出故障特征的目的。针对微粒群算法在进化后期收敛缓慢的缺点,通过K–均值聚类方式,引入单纯形法对其进行改进,使整个算法的广度探索与深度开发能力得到了有效均衡。最后,对模拟数据和实测信号进行实验,结果验证了所提方法的有效性和优越性。WANG Panpan SHI Liping ZHANG Yong HAN Li 2012中国电机工程学报2012,32,30:10
4Pd/activated carbon sorbents for mid-temperature capture of mercury from coal-derived fuel gas显示文摘Higher concentrations of Hg can be emitted from coal pyrolysis or gasification than from coal combustion, especially elemental Hg. Highly efficient Hg removal technology from coal-derived fuel gas is thus of great importance. Based on the very excellent Hg removal ability of Pd and the high adsorption abilities of activated carbon(AC) for H2 S and Hg, a series of Pd/AC sorbents was prepared by using pore volume impregnation, and their performance in capturing Hg and H2 S from coal-derived fuel gas was investigated using a laboratory-scale fixed-bed reactor. The effects of loading amount, reaction temperature and reaction atmosphere on Hg removal from coal-derived fuel gas were studied. The sorbents were characterized by N2 adsorption, X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The results indicated that the efficiency of Hg removal increased with the increasing of Pd loading amount, but the effective utilization rate of the active component Pd decreased significantly at the same time. High temperature had a negative influence on the Hg removal. The efficiency of Hg removal in the N2–H2S–H2–CO–Hg atmosphere(simulated coal gas) was higher than that in N2–H2S–Hg and N2–Hg atmospheres, which showed that H2 and CO, with their reducing capacity, could benefit promote the removal of Hg. 6The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 7Study on the quantitative structureactivity relation-ship of C-10 substituted artemisinin(QHS)’s derivatives using rough set theory显示文摘The structure-activity relationship study of C-10 substituted artemisinin (QHS) derivatives that are used as antimalarial was performed with the RS (rough sets) method. An RS process is a concise nonlinear process, and it has broad application foreground in the data mining of nonlinear life courses. In this work, initially the parameters of C-10 substituted QHS’s derivatives were computed with the quantum chemistry method, and the information table was constructed from the parameters (condition attributes) and biological activity (decision attributes). Based on the analysis of rough set theory, the core and reduction of attributes sets were obtained. Then the decision rules were extracted and the struc-ture-activity relationship was analyzed. As a nonlinear system, RS theory can extract the special rela-tion in the database. 9Loss of Wip1 aggravates brain injury after ischaemia/reperfusion by overactivating microglia显示文摘Background and purpose The inflammatory response mediated by microglia/macrophages is closely related to cerebral ischaemia/reperfusion injury.Wild-type p53-induced protein phosphatase 1(Wip1),a serine/threonine phosphatase,is expressed in various tissues.A growing number of reports have suggested that Wip1 is a negative regulator of inflammation in peripheral tissue;however,its role in the central nervous system(CNS)remains unclear.This study aimed to clarify whether Wip1 can inhibit CNS inflammation by regulating microglia/macrophage functions after ischaemic injury.Methods A model of middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion was established in mice.CNS inflammation was simulated by lipopolysaccharide treatment of primary microglia.Laser speckle imaging was used to monitor regional cerebral blood flow.Behavioural outcomes were assessed with a TreadScan gait analysis system.TTC staining was used to evaluate the infarct volume,and western blotting and immunofluorescence staining were applied to detect the phenotypical transformation of microglia.ELISA was performed to detect the levels of inflammatory factors.Results Wip1 expression was increased after ischaemia/reperfusion.Wip1-knockout(KO)mice displayed more severe brain injury than wild-type mice,as indicated by aggravated motor dysfunction,greater brain infarct volumes and higher expression of inflammatory cytokines(interleukin-6 and tumour necrosis factor alpha)in the brain.We also found that Wip1 depletion increased microglial/macrophage activation in both in vitro and in vivo models,which all showed activation of microglia/macrophages.Lentivirus-Ppm1d reversed the injury induced by Wip1-KO.Conclusions Our results suggest that Wip1 may inhibit neuroinflammation by inhibiting microglial/macrophage activation after brain ischaemia/reperfusion injury.Feng Yan Xiang Cheng Ming Zhao Shenghui Gong Ying Han Liping Ding Di Wu Yumin Luo Wei Zuo Lingling Zhu Ming Fan Xunming Ji 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,3:4
10δ^(13)C and water-use efficiency indicated by δ^(13)C of different plant functional groups on Changbai Mountains, Northeast China显示文摘Leaf δ13C of different plant functional groups (trees, shrubs and forbs; evergreen and deciduous; annual, biennial and perennial) were examined on the Changbai Mountains, China. Life form has a significant influence on plant δ13C, suggesting that leaf δ13C is also ideal for distinguishing functional groups species in temperate and frigid zones with high humidity. Additionally, the difference of water-use efficiency (WUE) is significant among different plant functional groups. δ13C and WUE are in the following order of forbs < shrubs < trees. Within shrubs, δ13C and WUE are higher for evergreen shrubs than deciduous shrubs. 11Effects of ultrasound on the desulfurization performance of hot coal gas over Zn-Mn-Cu supported on semi-coke sorbent prepared by high-pressure impregnation method显示文摘Zn-Mn-Cu/SC(U) sorbent was hydrothermally synthesized by ultrasound-assisted high-pressure impregnation method with semi-coke(SC)as support and the mixed solution of zinc nitrate,manganese nitrate and copper nitrate as active component precursors.The desulfurization performances of hot coal gas on the prepared sorbent at a mid-temperature of 500°C were tested in fixed-bed reactor.Morphology and pore structure of the prepared sorbent were also characterized by TEM,N2adsorption/desorption isotherms and XRD.For comparison,the sorbent of Zn-Mn-Cu/SC prepared by conventional high-pressure impregnation was also evaluated and characterized in order to study the effects of ultrasound treatment.Zn-Mn-Cu/SC(U) sorbent prepared by high-pressure impregnation under ultrasound-assisted condition showed a better desulfurization performance than Zn-Mn-Cu/SC.It could remove H2 S from 1000×10-6m3/m3 to 0.1×10-6m3/m3 at 500°C and maintained for 12.5 h with the sulfur capacity of 7.74%,in which both the breakthrough time and sulfur capacity were about 32% and 51% higher than those of Zn-Mn-Cu/SC sorbent.The introduction of ultrasound during high-pressure impregnation process greatly improved the morphology and pore structure of the sorbent.The ultrasonic treatment made particle size of active components smaller and made them more evenly disperse on semi-coke support,which provided more opportunities to contact with H2S in coal-based gases.However,there were no any difference in compositions and existing forms of active components on the Zn-Mn-Cu/SC and Zn-Mn-Cu/SC(U) sorbents.Xiaoyang Zhang Xianrong Zheng Peng Han Ze Liu Liping Chang 2015Journal of Energy Chemistry2015,24,3:4
12Effects of Shuyusan on monoamine neurotransmitters expression in a rat model of chronic stress-induced depression显示文摘Shuyusan, a traditional Chinese medicine, was shown to improve depression symptoms and behavioral scores, as well as increase 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid, and 5-hydroxytryptophan levels, in a rat model of chronic stress-induced depression. However, dopamine, noradrenalin, and 3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenylglycol expressions remained unchanged following Shuyusan treatment. Compared with the model group, the number of 5-HT-positive neurons in layers 4-5 of the frontal cortex, as well as hippocampal CA1 and CA3 regions, significantly increased following Shuyusan treatment. 14Identification of Nonstructural Protein 8 as the N-Terminus of the RNA-Dependent RNA Polymerase of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus显示文摘Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) is a member within the family Arteriviridae of the order Nidovirales. Replication of this positive-stranded RNA virus within the host cell involves expression of viral replicase proteins encoded by two ORFs, namely ORF1 a and ORF1 b. In particular, translation of ORF1 b depends on a-1-ribosomal frameshift strategy. Thus, nonstructural protein 9 (nsp9), the first protein within ORF1 b that specifies the function of the viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, is expressed as the C-terminal extension of nsp8, a small nsp that is encoded by ORF1 a. However, it has remained unclear whether the mature form of nsp9 in virus-infected cells still retains nsp8,addressing which is clearly critical to understand the biological function of nsp9. By taking advantage of specific antibodies to both nsp8 and nsp9, we report the following findings. (1) In infected cells, PRRSV nsp9 was identified as a major product with a size between 72 and 95 k Da (72–95 KDa form), which exhibited the similar mobility on the gel to the in vitro expressed nsp8–9 ORF1 b, but not the ORF1 b-coded portion (nsp9 ORF1 b). (2) The antibodies to nsp8, but not to nsp7 or nsp10, could detect a major product that had the similar mobility to the 72–95 KDa form of nsp9. Moreover, nsp9 could be co-immunoprecipitated by antibodies to nsp8, and vice versa. (3) Neither nsp4 nor nsp2 PLP2 was able to cleave nsp8–nsp9 in vitro. 17Tribological study of N-containing borate derivatives and their synergistic antioxidation effects with T531显示文摘Two N-containing borates, BTES and BMES, were synthesized with dodecyl phenol, 2-(N-containing heterocyclic) ethan-1-ol, boric acid, and dibutylamine, and their tribological properties in rapeseed oil(RSO) were investigated using a four-ball tester. The results showed that the load-carrying ability(P_B value) of RSO can be improved by 40.9% and 67.9%, respectively, when using 0.5 wt% BTES and BMES. Moreover, the antiwear and friction-reducing performances of the additive-containing oils increased with the additive concentration. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results of the worn steel ball surfaces showed that BTES and BMES formed protective films, which contained boron oxide, iron oxide, ferrous sulfate, ferrous sulfide(for BMES), and other organic nitrogen compounds, on the metal surfaces. The better load-carrying and antiwear performances of BMES than those of BTES might be due to their different sulfur contents, which result in different tribochemical reaction films on the contact surfaces. 18Sustained co-delivery of gemcitabine and cis-platinum via biodegradable thermo-sensitive hydrogel for synergistic combination therapy of pancreatic cancer显示文摘Pancreatic cancer is one of the most devastating cancers with poor prognosis and no significant change in the survival rate over the past decades.Localized targeted drug delivery through interventional endoscopic ultrasonography-guided fine-needle injection (EUS-FNI) is an attractive and minimally invasive strategy for inoperable pancreatic cancer.An injectable in-situ formed long-lasting drug delivery system is a promising alternative for the localized treatment of pancreatic cancer via EUS-FNI.Here,a biodegradable thermo-sensitive copolymer hydrogel for the co-delivery of anticancer agents gemcitabine (GEM) and cis-platinum (DDP) was developed.This hydrogel is a free flowable liquid at room temperature that changes into a semi-solid hydrogel following injection in response to the physiological temperature.Both in vitro and in vivo drug release behaviors indicate sustained drug release of this delivery system.Synergistic cellular proliferation inhibition and desirable apoptosis promotion have been found when pancreatic cancer Bxpc-3 cells were co-cultured with this GEM-DDP/hydrogel system.After a single intratumoral injection,the dual-drug loaded hydrogel formulation exhibited superior anti-tumor efficacy and minimized systemic side effect on pancreatic cancer xenograft mouse model in comparison to the intravenously injected free GEM and DDP combination.In addition,a strong synergistic therapeutic effect of the GEM-DDP/hydrogel system against pancreatic cancer has been found in vitro and in vivo compared to the single-drug loaded hydrogel composites.The obtained findings suggest this developed thermo-sensitive copolymer hydrogel system as a potential universal carrier for the localized targeted delivery of multi-drugs,for use in a variety of inoperable solid tumors.Kun Shi Bingxin Xue Yanpeng Jia Liping Yuan Ruxia Han Fan Yang Jinrong Peng Zhiyong Qian 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:3

20Effect of pulsatile perfusion during cardiopulmonary bypass in terms of radial artery sphygmogram显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate a quantitative method for using radial artery pulse waveforms to assess the effect of pulsatile flow during cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).METHODS: A total of 34 adults with heart disease who underwent open-heart surgery between April2010 and January 2011 were randomized into a pulsatile perfusion group(n=17) and a non-pulsatile perfusion group(n=17). Radial arterial pulse waveforms of pulsatile and non-pulsatile perfusion patients were observed and compared before and during CPB.RESULTS: No pulse waveform could be detected at patients' radial artery in both groups when the aorta was cross-clamped. Pulse waveforms could be detected at pulsatile perfusion patients' radial artery, but could not be detected at non-pulsatile perfusion patients' radial artery during CPB.
