| 1 | Epidermal self-powered sweat sensors for glucose and lactate monitoring显示文摘Sweat could be a carrier of informative biomarkers for health status identification;therefore,wearable sweat sensors have attracted significant attention for research.An external power source is an important component of wearable sensors,however,the current power supplies,i.e.,batteries,limit further shrinking down the size of these devices and thus limit their application areas and scenarios.Herein,we report a stretchable self-powered biosensor with epidermal electronic format that enables the in situ detec-tion of lactate and glucose concentration in sweat.Enzymatic biofuel cells serve as self-powered sensing modules allowing the sweat sensor to exhibit a determination coefficient(R2)of 0.98 with a sensitivity of 2.48 mV/mM for lactate detection,and R2 of 0.96 with a sensitivity of 0.11 mV/μM for glucose detection.The microfluidic channels developed in an ultra-thin soft flexible polydimethylsiloxane layer not only enable the effective collection of sweat,but also provide excellent mechanical properties with stable performance output even under 30%stretching.The presented soft sweat sensors can be integrated at nearly any location of the body for the continuous monitoring of lactate and glucose changes during normal daily activities such as exercise.Our results provide a promising approach to develop next-generation sweat sensors for real-time and in situ sweat analysis. | Xingcan Huang Jiyu Li Yiming Liu Tszhung Wong Jingyou Su Kuanming Yao Jingkun Zhou Ya Huang Hu Li Dengfeng Li Mengge Wu Enming Song Shijiao Han Xinge Yu | 2022 | Bio-Design and Manufacturing2022,5,1: | 3 |
| 2 | Design and Validity Study on Oral English Assessment in Graduate Students显示文摘To explore the adoption of formative assessment in oral English test Validity study of oral test scores was performed in PhD candidates of 2011.Through linear relevance analysis,it is concluded that the relevance coefficient between oral score and overall score is 0.751 (P <0.001),the relevance coefficient between oral score and listening score is 0.530 (P <0.001),and the results indicate overall score and listening score have a positive relevancy with oral score.The result showed a positive correlation of oral test scores with written examination scores.Questionnaires modeled with the 5-point Likert Scale revealed a moderate supportive attitude of students on this formative assessment.The results are:80.1% of students indicated they feel satisfied and very satisfied with such oral English evaluation form,77.9% of students consider this oral score reflects their real oral English proficiency.This indicates that most students feel satisfied about the form and score in this oral exam.Through effective combination between formative evaluation method and summative evaluation method,it can effectively coordinate the relation between teaching and learning in oral English teaching practice,stimulate students'study initiative,and play a positive role in improving students'overall oral English proficiency. | Zhang Yan Jia Linyu Hu Jiyue | 2013 | 学术界2013,,2: | 2 |
| 3 | English Forum on Medical Humanities of SMMU:An interdisciplinary innovative teaching practice显示文摘To conform to the college English teaching reform from English for General Purposes (EGP) to English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in the vital transfer era, the Foreign Language Department of Second Military Medical University (SMMU) launched an English for Medical Academic Purpose (EMAP) curriculum with English Forum on Medical Humanities (EFMH), a project-based teaching practice. Based on Rogers' learner-centered humanistic teaching approach which emphasizes students' involvement and experiences in learning, EFMH puts students and their practice in a central place. After four-year exploration and operation, the Forum has developed from a small-scaled embryo into an internationalized, standardized and professionalized event, having produced fruitful outcomes. | 8 | Favorable prognostic role of IL-26 in HCC patients associated with JAK-STAT3-dependent autophagy显示文摘Interleukin-26(IL-26),originally called AK155,is one of the cytokines of the IL-10 cytokine family,and its gene is located in human chromosome region 12q15.IL-26 signals through the receptors IL-20R1 and IL-10R2,which form a heterodimer,targets specific cells and induces activation of the JAK-STAT pathway,allowing the rapid phosphorylation of STAT1 and STAT3 and the initiation of their effects.1 This signaling plays an important role in the regulation of host defense and inflammatory diseases.However,whether the role of IL-26 in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)occurs via autophagy remains unclear.Here,we analyzed the association between IL-26 levels and the clinicopathological characteristics of 115 patients with HCC and found that IL-26 levels were particularly associated with tumor stage and survival.We found that IL-26 levels were associated with the prognosis of HCC patients.Furthermore,we found that increased autophagy by IL-26 was dependent on the JAK-STAT3 signaling pathway,which could result in the inhibition of the migration and invasion abilities of these HCC cells.These findings suggest that the levels of IL-26 may be a useful prognostic marker for HCC patients and may offer insights into the clinical application of IL-26 in the future. | Qihong Zhao Chen Wang Kexin Wang Yue He Anla Hu Min Tang Wanshui Yang Jiyu Cao Dexiang Xu Hua Wang | 2022 | Genes & Diseases2022,9,1: | 0 |

| 10 | Identification of candidate genes that regulate the trade-off between seedling cold tolerance and fruit quality in melon (Cucumis melo L.)显示文摘Trade-offs between survival and growth are widely observed in plants.Melon is an annual,trailing herb that produces economically valuable fruits that are traditionally cultivated in early spring in China.Melon seedlings are sensitive to low temperatures,and thus usually suffer from cold stress during the early growth period.However,little is known about the mechanism behind the trade-offs between seedling cold tolerance and fruit quality in melon.In this study,a total of 31 primary metabolites were detected from the mature fruits of eight melon lines that differ with respect to seedling cold tolerance;these included 12 amino acids,10 organic acids,and 9 soluble sugars.Our results showed that concentrations of most of the primary metabolites in the cold-resistant melons were generally lower than in the cold-sensitive melons;the greatest difference in metabolite levels was observed between the cold-resistant line H581 and the moderately cold-resistant line HH09.The metabolite and transcriptome data for these two lines were then subjected to weighted correlation network analysis,resulting in the identification of five key candidate genes underlying the balancing between seedling cold tolerance and fruit quality.Among these genes,CmEAF7 might play multiple roles in regulating chloroplast development,photosynthesis,and the ABA pathway.Furthermore,multi-method functional analysis showed that CmEAF7 can certainly improve both seedling cold tolerance and fruit quality in melon.Our study identified an agriculturally important gene,CmEAF7,and provides a new insight into breeding methods to develop melon cultivars with seedling cold tolerance and high fruit quality. | Lili Li Qiong Li Bin Chen Jiyu Wang Fei Ding Panqiao Wang Xiuyue Zhang Juan Hou Renren Luo Xiang Li Jingwen Zheng Sen Yang Luming Yang Lei Zhu Shouru Sun Changsheng Ma Qin Li Ying Li Jianbin Hu | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,7: | 0 |

| 13 | Efficient separation of C_(4) olefins using tantalum pentafluor oxide anion-pillared hybrid microporous material显示文摘With the increasing demand for synthetic rubber,the purification of 1,3-butadiene(C_(4)H_(6))is of great industrial significance.Herein,the successful removal of n-butene(n-C_(4)H_(8))and iso-butene(iso-C_(4)H_(8))from 1,3-butadiene(C_(4)H_(6))was realized by synthesizing a novel TaOF_(5)^(2-) anion-pillared ultramicroporous material TaOFFIVE-3-Ni(also referred to as ZU-96,TaOFFIVE=TaOF_(5)^(2-),3=pyrazine).Single-component adsorption isotherms show that TaOFFIVE-3-Ni can achieve the exclusion of n-C_(4)H_(8) and iso-C_(4)H_(8) in the low pressure region(0–30 kPa),and uptake C_(4)H_(6) with a high capacity of 92.78 cm^(3)·cm^(-3)(298 K and 100 kPa).The uptake ratio of C_(4)H_(6)/iso-C_(4)H_(8) on TaOFFIVE-3-Ni was 20.83(298 K and 100 kPa),which was the highest among the state-of-the-art adsorbents reported so far.With the rotation of anion and pyrazine ring,the pore size changes continuously,which makes smaller-size C_(4)H_(6) enter the channel while larger-size n-C_(4)H_(8) and iso-C_(4)H_(8) are completely blocked.The excellent breakthrough performance of TaOFFIVE-3-Ni shows great potential in industrial separation of C4 olefins.The specific adsorption binding sites within ZU-96 was further revealed through the modeling calculation. | Bin Gao Zhaoqiang Zhang Jianbo Hu Jiyu Cui Liyuan Chen Xili Cui Huabin Xing | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,2: | 0 |
