2Research advances in magnesium and magnesium alloys worldwide in 2020显示文摘Research on magnesium alloys continues to attract great attention,with more than 3000 papers on magnesium and magnesium alloys published and indexed in SCI in 2020 alone.The results of bibliometric analyses show that microstructure control and mechanical properties of Mg alloys are continuously the main research focus,and the corrosion and protection of Mg alloys are still widely concerned.The emerging research hot spots are mainly on functional magnesium materials,such as Mg ion batteries,hydrogen storage Mg materials,and bio-magnesium alloys.Great contributions to the research and development of magnesium alloys in 2020 have been made by Chongqing University,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Central South University,Shanghai Jiaotong University,Northeastern University,Helmholtz Zentrum Geesthacht,etc.The directions for future research are suggested,including:1)the synergistic control of microstructures to achieve high-performance magnesium alloys with concurrent high strength and superior plasticity along with high corrosion resistance and low cost;2)further development of functional magnesium materials such as Mg batteries,hydrogen storage Mg materials,structural-functional materials and bio-magnesium materials;3)studies on the effective corrosion protection and control of degradation rate of magnesium alloys;4)further improvement of advanced processing technology on Mg alloys.Yan Yang Xiaoming Xiong Jing Chen Xiaodong Peng Daolun Chen Fusheng Pan 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,3:52

6A novel approach of testability modeling and analysis for PHM systems based on failure evolution mechanism显示文摘Prognostics and health management (PHM) significantly improves system availability and reliability, and reduces the cost of system operations. Design for testability (DFT) developed concurrently with system design is an important way to improve PHM capability. Testability modeling and analysis are the foundation of DFT. This paper proposes a novel approach of testability modeling and analysis based on failure evolution mechanisms. At the component level, the fault progression-related information of each unit under test (UUT) in a system is obtained by means of failure modes, evolution mechanisms, effects and criticality analysis (FMEMECA), and then the failure-symptom dependency can be generated. At the system level, the dynamic attributes of UUTs are assigned by using the bond graph methodology, and then the symptom-test dependency can be obtained by means of the functional flow method. Based on the failure-symptom and symptom-test dependencies, testability analysis for PHM systems can be realized. A shunt motor is used to verify the application of the approach proposed in this paper. 11Test selection and optimization for PHM based on failure evolution mechanism model显示文摘The test selection and optimization(TSO) can improve the abilities of fault diagnosis, prognosis and health-state evaluation for prognostics and health management(PHM) systems. Traditionally, TSO mainly focuses on fault detection and isolation, but they cannot provide an effective guide for the design for testability(DFT) to improve the PHM performance level. To solve the problem, a model of TSO for PHM systems is proposed. Firstly,through integrating the characteristics of fault severity and propagation time, and analyzing the test timing and sensitivity, a testability model based on failure evolution mechanism model(FEMM) for PHM systems is built up. This model describes the fault evolutiontest dependency using the fault-symptom parameter matrix and symptom parameter-test matrix. Secondly, a novel method of inherent testability analysis for PHM systems is developed based on the above information. Having completed the analysis, a TSO model, whose objective is to maximize fault trackability and minimize the test cost, is proposed through inherent testability analysis results, and an adaptive simulated annealing genetic algorithm(ASAGA) is introduced to solve the TSO problem. Finally, a case of a centrifugal pump system is used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed models and methods. 12Heat shock protein 90 promotes RNA helicase DDX5 accumulation and exacerbates hepatocellular carcinoma by inhibiting autophagy显示文摘Objective:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),the main type of liver cancer,has a high morbidity and mortality,and a poor prognosis.RNA helicase DDX5,which acts as a transcriptional co-regulator,is overexpressed in most malignant tumors and promotes cancer cell growth.Heat shock protein 90(HSP90)is an important molecular chaperone in the conformational maturation and stabilization of numerous proteins involved in cell growth or survival.Methods:DDX5 m RNA and protein expression in surgically resected HCC tissues from 24 Asian patients were detected by quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot,respectively.The interaction of DDX5-HSP90 was determined by molecular docking,immunoprecipitation,and laser scanning confocal microscopy.The autophagy signal was detected by Western blot.The cell functions and signaling pathways of DDX5 were determined in 2 HCC cell lines.Two different murine HCC xenograft models were used to determine the function of DDX5 and the therapeutic effect of an HSP90 inhibitor.Results:HSP90 interacted directly with DDX5 and inhibited DDX5 protein degradation in the AMPK/ULK1-regulated autophagy pathway.The subsequent accumulation of DDX5 protein induced the malignant phenotype of HCC by activating theβ-catenin signaling pathway.The silencing of DDX5 or treatment with HSP90 inhibitor both blocked in vivo tumor growth in a murine HCC xenograft model.High levels of HSP90 and DDX5 protein were associated with poor prognoses.Conclusions:HSP90 interacted with DDX5 protein and subsequently protected DDX5 protein from AMPK/ULK1-regulated autophagic degradation.DDX5 and HSP90 are therefore potential therapeutic targets for HCC.Ting Zhang Xinrui Yang Wanping Xu Jing Wang Dawei Wu Zhixian Hong Shengxian Yuan Zhen Zeng Xiaodong Jia Shanshan Lu Rifaat Safadi Sen Han Zhihong Yang Leonard M.Neckers Suthat Liangpunsakul Weiping Zhou Yinying Lu 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,3:7
13Clinical features and the traditional Chinese medicine therapeutic characteristics of 293 COVID-19 inpatient cases显示文摘Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is now pandemic worldwide and has heavily overloaded hospitals in Wuhan City, China during the time between late January and February. We reported the clinical features and therapeutic characteristics of moderate COVID-19 cases in Wuhan that were treated via the integration of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Western medicine. We collected electronic medical record (EMR) data, which included the full clinical profiles of patients, from a designated TCM hospital in Wuhan. The structured data of symptoms and drugs from admission notes were obtained through an information extraction process. Other key clinical entities were also confirmed and normalized to obtain information on the diagnosis, clinical treatments, laboratory tests, and outcomes of the patients. A total of 293 COVID-19 inpatient cases, including 207 moderate and 86 (29.3%) severe cases, were included in our research. Among these cases, 238 were discharged, 31 were transferred, and 24 (all severe cases) died in the hospital. Our COVID-19 cases involved elderly patients with advanced ages (57 years on average) and high comorbidity rates (61%). Our results reconfirmed several well-recognized risk factors, such as age, gender (male), and comorbidities, as well as provided novel laboratory indications (e.g., cholesterol) and TCM-specific phenotype markers (e.g., dull tongue) that were relevant to COVID-19 infections and prognosis. In addition to antiviral/antibiotics and standard supportive therapies, TCM herbal prescriptions incorporating 290 distinct herbs were used in 273 (93%) cases. The cases that received TCM treatment had lower death rates than those that did not receive TCM treatment (17/273= 6.2% vs. 7/20= 35%, P = 0.0004 for all cases;17/77= 22% vs. 7/9= 77.7%, P = 0.002 for severe cases). The TCM herbal prescriptions used for the treatment of COVID-19 infections mainly consisted of Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Radix Scutellariae, Rhizoma Pinellia, and their combinations, which reflected the practical TCM principles (e.g., clearing heat and dampening phlegm). Lastly, 59% of the patients received treatment, including antiviral, antibiotics, and Chinese patent medicine, before admission. This situation might have some effects on symptoms, such as fever and dry cough. By using EMR data, we described the clinical features and therapeutic characteristics of 293 COVID-19 cases treated via the integration of TCM herbal prescriptions and Western medicine. Clinical manifestations and treatments before admission and in the hospital were investigated. 15Remaining useful life prediction based on variation coefficient consistency test of a Wiener process显示文摘High-cost equipment is often reused after maintenance, and whether the information before the maintenance can be used for the Remaining Useful Life(RUL) prediction after the maintenance is directly determined by the consistency of the degradation pattern before and after the maintenance.Aiming at this problem, an RUL prediction method based on the consistency test of a Wiener process is proposed.Firstly, the parameters of the Wiener process estimated by Maximum Likelihood Estimation(MLE) are proved to be biased, and a modified unbiased estimation method is proposed and verified by derivation and simulations.Then, the h statistic is constructed according to the reciprocal of the variation coefficient of the Wiener process, and the sampling distribution is derived.Meanwhile, a universal method for the consistency test is proposed based on the sampling distribution theorem, which is verified by simulation data and classical crack degradation data.Finally, based on the consistency test of the degradation model, a weighted fusion RUL prediction method is presented for the fuel pump of an airplane, and the validity of the presented method is verified by accurate computation results of real data, which provides a theoretical and practical guidance for engineers to predict the RUL of equipment after maintenance.Juan LI Bo JING Hongde DAI Xiaoxuan JIAO Xiaodong LIU 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,1:5
16120 mm Single-crystalline perovskite and wafers: towards viable applications显示文摘As the large single-crystalline silicon wafers have revolutionized many industries including electronics and solar cells, it is envisioned that the availability of large single-crystalline perovskite crystals and wafers will revolutionize its broad applications in photovoltaics, optoelectronics, lasers, photodetectors, light emitting diodes(LEDs), etc. Here we report a method to grow large single-crystalline perovskites including single-halide crystals: CH3NH3PbX3(X=I, Br, Cl), and dual-halide ones:CH3NH3Pb(ClxBr1.x)3 and CH3NH3Pb(BrxI1.x)3, with the largest crystal being 120 mm in length. Meanwhile, we have advanced a process to slice the large perovskite crystals into thin wafers. It is found that the wafers exhibit remarkable features:(1)its trap-state density is a million times smaller than that in the microcrystalline perovskite thin films(MPTF);(2) its carrier mobility is 410 times higher than its most popular organic counterpart P3HT;(3) its optical absorption is expanded to as high as910 nm comparing to 797 nm for the MPTF;(4) while MPTF decomposes at 150 °C, the wafer is stable at high temperature up to270 °C;(5) when exposed to high humidity(75% RH), MPTF decomposes in 5 h while the wafer shows no change for overnight;(6) its photocurrent response is 250 times higher than its MPTF counterpart. A few electronic devices have been fabricated using the crystalline wafers. Among them, the Hall test gives low carrier concentration with high mobility. The trap-state density is measured much lower than common semiconductors. Moreover, the large SC-wafer is found particularly useful for mass production of integrated circuits. By adjusting the halide composition, both the optical absorption and the light emission can be fine-tuned across the entire visible spectrum from 400 nm to 800 nm. It is envisioned that a range of visible lasers and LEDs may be developed using the dual-halide perovskites. 17Investigation of straightforward impedance eduction method on single-degree-of-freedom acoustic liners显示文摘In order to address the current aircraft noise problem, the knowledge of impedance of acoustic liners subjected to high-intensity sound and grazing flow is of crucial importance to the design of high-efficiency acoustic nacelles. To this end, the present study is twofold. Firstly, the StraightForward impedance eduction Method(SFM) is evaluated by the strategy that the impedance of a liner specimen is firstly experimentally educed on a flow duct using the SFM, and then its accuracy is checked by comparing the numerical prediction with the measured wall sound pressure of the flow duct. Secondly, the effects of grazing flow and high-intensity sound on the impedance behavior of two single-layer liners are investigated based on comparisons between educed impedance and predictions by three impedance models. The performance of the SFM is validated by showing that the educed impedance leads to excellent agreement between the simulation and the measured wall sound pressure for different grazing flow Mach numbers and Sound Pressure Levels(SPLs) and over a frequency range from 3000 Hz down to 500 Hz. The grazing flow effect generally has the tendency that the acoustic resistance exhibits a slight decrease before it increases linearly with an increase in Mach,predicted successfully by the sound-vortex interaction theoretical model and the Kooi semi-empirical impedance model. However, the Goodrich semi-empirical impedance model gives only a simple linear relation of acoustic resistance starting from Mach zero. Additionally, when the SPL increases from 110 to 140 d B in the present investigation, the acoustic resistance exhibits a significant increase at all frequencies in the absence of flow; however, the resistance decreases slightly under a grazing flow of Mach 0.117. 19Study on in-situ Mg_2Si/Al-Si composites with different compositions显示文摘Effects of chemical composition and heat treatment on microstructures and mechanical properties of in-situ Mg2Si/Al-Si composites were investigated.It was found that,in the microstructure of an Al-5.7wt% Mg2Si composite with 8.2wt% extra Si,the binary eutectic Mg2Si locates at the grain boundaries with an undeveloped Chinese script-like morphology,and the primary α-Al is formed into a cell structure due to the selective modif ication effect of the modif iers of mischmetal and Strontium salt;whereas in the composite with a near Al-Mg2Si eutectic composition and little extra Si content,the intercrescence eutectic Mg2Si formed with the binary eutectic α-Al grows into integrated Chinese script-like shape.As Si content increases,the eutectic Mg2Si dendrite becomes coarser in morphology but less in volume fraction.Hardness and tensile strength of the cast Mg2Si/Al-Si composites do not increase with increasing of Mg content,but they are related to the size and morphology of the eutectic and primary Mg2Si phases.Heat treatment with optimal parameters is an effective way to improve the properties of the in-situ composites.Jing Qingxiu Zhang Caixia Huang Xiaodong 2009China Foundry2009,6,2:4
20Influence of liquid water on coalbed methane adsorption:An experimental research on coal reservoirs in the south of Qinshui Basin显示文摘Using Isothermal Adsorption/Desorption System Model IS-100 and Electrohydraulic Servo Rock System Model MTS815 as the main apparatuses and collecting samples from the major coal reservoirs in the south of Qinshui Basin, a hot point region of coalbed methane exploration, the paper carries out systematical comparisons of the isothermal adsorption experimental data for injection water coal samples, equilibrium moisture samples and dry coal samples, probes and establishes an experimental method of injection water coal sample preparation and isothermal experiment to simulate real reservoir conditions, and then summaries the experimental regulations and discusses the mechanism of liquid water influencing coal methane adsorption. Results of the experiment indicate that: The Langmuir volume of injection water coal samples is notably larger than that of equilibrium moisture samples, as well as larger than or equivalent to that of dry coal samples; the Langmuir pressure of injection water coal samples is the highest, the next is equilibrium moisture samples, while the dry samples is the lowest, of which the experimental results of injection water samples to simulate real reservoir conditions are more close to the fact. Under the conditions of in-position reservoirs, liquid water in coals has evident influence on methane adsorption ability of coal matrix, which can increase the adsorbability of coal and make the adsorption regulation fit to Langmuir model better. Its major reason is the increase of wetting coal matrix adsorbability.
