2A review on tribology of polymer composite coatings显示文摘Self-lubricating polymer composite coatings,with tailorable tribological and mechanical properties,have been widely employed on mechanical parts to reduce friction and wear,which saves energy and improves the overall performance for applications such as aerospace satellite parts,shafts,gears,and bushings.The addition of functional fillers can overcome the limitations of single-polymer coatings and extend the service life of the coatings by providing a combination of low friction,high wear resistance,high load bearing,high temperature resistance,and high adhesion.This paper compares the heat resistance,and the tribological and mechanical properties of common polymer matrices,as well as the categories of functional fillers that improve the coating performance.Applicable scopes,process parameters,advantages,and limitations of the preparation methods of polymer coatings are discussed in detail.The tribological properties of the composite coatings with different matrices and fillers are compared,and the lubrication mechanisms are analyzed.Fillers reduce friction by promoting the formation of transfer films or liquid shear films.Improvement of the mechanical properties of the composite coatings with fillers of different morphologies is described in terms of strengthening and toughening mechanisms,including a stress transfer mechanism,shear yielding,crack bridging,and interfacial debonding.The test and enhancement methods for the adhesion properties between the coating and substrate are discussed.The coating adhesion can be enhanced through mechanical treatment,chemical treatment,and energy treatment of the substrate.Finally,we propose the design strategies for high-performance polymer composite coating systems adapted to specific operating conditions,and the limitations of current polymer composite coating research are identified.Yilong REN Lin ZHANG Guoxin XIE Zhanbo LI Hao CHEN Hanjun GONG Wenhu XU Dan GUO Jianbin LUO 2021Friction2021,9,3:13
3Mechanical and tribological properties of nanocomposites incorporated with two-dimensional materials显示文摘In recent years, attempts to improve the mechanical properties of composites have increased remarkably owing to the inadequate utilization of matrices in demanding technological systems where efficiency, durability, and environmental compatibility are the key requirements. The search for novel materials that can potentially have enhanced mechanical properties continues. Recent studies have demonstrated that two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials can act as excellent reinforcements because they possess high modulus of elasticity, high strength, and ultralow friction. By incorporating 2D nanomaterials in a composite, 2D nanomaterial-based composites (2DNBCs) have been developed. In view of this, a critical review of recent mechanical and tribological studies based on 2DNBCs has been undertaken. Matrices such as polymers, ceramics, and metals, as well as most of the representative 2D nanomaterial reinforcements such as graphene, boron nitride (BN), molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), and transition metal carbides and nitrides (MXenes) have been included in this review. Their preparation strategies, intrinsic mechanical properties, friction and lubrication performances, strengthening mechanisms, influencing factors, and potential applications have been comprehensively discussed. 4Ultralow friction polymer composites incorporated with mono-dispersed oil microcapsules显示文摘Ultralow friction polymer composites were prepared by adding oil-loaded microcapsules into epoxy(EP)resin.Mono-dispersed polystyrene(PS)/poly alpha olefin(PAO)microcapsules with a diameter of~2μm and a shell thickness of~30 nm were prepared by solvent evaporation method in an oil-in-water emulsion.The lubrication behaviors of the EP resin composites with oil-loaded microcapsules have been investigated under different loads and sliding speeds.As compared with the pure EP resin,the friction coefficient of the composite could be reduced to 4%(from 0.71 to 0.028)and the wear rate could be decreased up to two orders of magnitude.It was demonstrated that the released PAO oil from the microcapsules during the friction process produced a boundary lubricating film,which could prevent the direct contact of two rubbing surfaces,and thus leading to an extremely low friction coefficient and wear rate.Moreover,the composites with microcapsules could achieve comparable lubrication properties to the case under the external lubrication condition,while the former case could effectively minimize the lubricant leakage and improve the lubrication efficiency.Lin ZHANG Guoxin XIE Shuai WU Shiguang PENG Xiaoqing ZHANG Dan GUO Shizhu WEN Jianbin LUO 2021Friction2021,9,1:3
5Effect of Laminarin on Growth and Immunity of Pearl Gentian Grouper显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to study the effects of laminarin on growth performance and immunity of pearl gentian groupers. [Method] Four separate30 m2 concrete pools were used as a closed circulating water aquaculture system for the experiment. Simultaneously,approximately 1 800 groupers were placed in each of the two pools for treatment or control. The initial weight of the individual fish was( 275. 55 ± 29. 79) g. They were fed with either a control diet or one containing 0. 6% laminarin in the pools for 66 d. [Result]At the end of the feeding trial,the weight gain of the groupers in treatment group was increased by 29. 03%( P <0. 05),the specific growth ratio was increased by 23. 88%( P <0. 05),and the feed conversion rate was decreased by 15. 20%( P <0. 05) compared to control group,while there was no significant difference in muscle nutritional components between treatment group and control group( P > 0. 05). For each kilogram weight gain of an individual fish,the cost of the treatment diet was 1. 96 yuan less than that of control diet,i. e.,a reduction of 12. 54%. On the other hand,the activities of alkaline phosphatase( AKP),lysozyme( LZM) and total superoxide dismutase( T-SOD) of the groupers in treatment group were significantly higher than those in control group( P < 0. 05). 9Dgcr8 deletion in the primitive heart uncovered novel microRNA regulating the balance of cardiac-vascular gene program显示文摘Primitive mammalian heart transforms from a single tube to a four-chambered muscular organ during a short developmental window.We found that knocking out global microRNA by deleting Dgcr8 microprocessor in Mespl cardiovascular progenitor cells lead to the formation of extremely dilated and enlarged heart due to defective cardiomyocyte(CM)differentiation.Transcriptome analysis revealed unusual upregulation of vascular gene expression in Dgcr8 cKO hearts.Single cell RNA sequencing study further confirmed the increase of angiogenesis genes in single Dgcr8 cKO CM.We also performed global microRNA profiling of E9.5 heart for the first time,and identified that miR-541 was transiently highly expressed in E9.5 hearts.Interestingly,introducing miR-541 back into microRNA-free CMs partially rescued their defects,downregulated angiogenesis genes and significantly upregulated cardiac genes.Moreover,miR-541 can target Ctgf and inhibit endothelial function.Our results suggest that micro-RNAs are required to suppress abnormal angiogenesis gene program to maintain CM differentiation.Xi Chen Lin Wang Rujin Huang Hui Qiu Peizhe Wang Daren Wu Yonglin Zhu Jia Ming Yangming Wang Jianbin Wang Jie Na 2019Protein & Cell2019,10,5:1
10Nucleic acids analysis显示文摘Nucleic acids are natural biopolymers of nucleotides that store, encode, transmit and express genetic information, which play central roles in diverse cellular events and diseases in living things. The analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acids-based analysis have been widely applied in biological studies, clinical diagnosis, environmental analysis, food safety and forensic analysis.During the past decades, the field of nucleic acids analysis has been rapidly advancing with many technological breakthroughs.In this review, we focus on the methods developed for analyzing nucleic acids, nucleic acids-based analysis, device for nucleic acids analysis, and applications of nucleic acids analysis. The representative strategies for the development of new nucleic acids analysis in this field are summarized, and key advantages and possible limitations are discussed. 14N-doped CoAl oxides from hydrotalcites with enhanced oxygen vacancies for excellent low-temperature propane oxidation显示文摘A series of nitrogen-doped CoAlO(N-CoAlO)were constructed by a hydrothermal route combined with a controllable NH_(3) treatment strategy.The effects of NH_(3) treatment on the physico-chemical properties and oxidation activities of N-Co AlO catalysts were investigated.In comparison to CoAlO,a smallest content decrease in surface Co^(3+)(serving as active sites)while a largest increased amount of surface Co^(2+)(contributing to oxygen species)are obtained over N-Co AlO/4h among the N-CoAlO catalysts.Meanwhile,a maximum N doping is found over N-CoAlO/4h.As a result,N-CoAlO/4h(under NH_(3) treatment at 400℃ for 4 hr)with rich oxygen vacancies shows optimal catalytic activity,with a T90(the temperature required to reach a 90% conversion of propane)at 266℃.The more oxygen vacancies are caused by the co-operative effects of N doping and suitable reduction of Co^(3+) for NCoAlO/4h,leading to an enhanced oxygen mobility,which in turn promotes C_(3)H_(8) total oxidation activity dominated by Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism.Moreover,in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTs)analysis shows that N doping facilities the decomposition of intermediate species(propylene and formate)into CO_(2)over the catalyst surface of N-CoAlO/4h more easily.Our reported design in this work will provide a promising way to develop abundant oxygen vacancies of Co-based catalysts derived from hydrotalcites by a simple NH_(3) treatment.Enhui Wu Daifeng Lin Yinye Chen Xiaoshan Feng Kui Niu Yongjin Luo Baoquan Huang Jianbin Qiu Qingrong Qian Qinghua Chen 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,6:0

17Safety and Current Status of the COVID-19 Vaccine among Patients with Breast cancer: A Cross-Sectional Study from China显示文摘In this study,we aimed to explore the safety and vaccination coverage data of Chinese patients with breast cancer receiving coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)vaccination.The patients were recruited from 41 hospitals across 20 Chinese provinces.The vaccination coverage was approximately 22.4%,and the frequency of total adverse events was 13.3%after the first dose and 9.9%after the second dose.The most frequent adverse reaction within 14 days of the first dose was local pain(5.7%).Unvaccinated patients were very likely to reject the vaccine rather than be hesitant in patients with old age(odds ratio[OR],1.238;95%confidence interval[CI],1.101-1.391),chronic disease history(OR,1.189;95%CI,1.057-1.337),and cancer relapse(OR,1.398;95%CI,1.233-1.585).Of the unvaccinated patients with breast cancer,54.1%opted to receive COVID-19 vaccines if more data were available.Considering the safety but low vaccination coverage for breast cancer,increased positive attitudes and acceptance toward COVID-19 vaccines are important.Shaohua Zhang Jianbin Li Ruonan Xu Qianjun Chen Gang Sun Ying Lin Feng Jin Xinlan Liu Zhimin Fan Yiding Chen Yali Cao Xinzheng Li Jianyun Nie Guiying Xu Xiaojia Wang Yuee Teng Tao Sun Hong Liu Jing Luo Cuizhi Geng Man Li Ting Luo Yinhua Liu Fu-Sheng Wang Zefei Jiang 2023Infectious Diseases & Immunity2023,3,3:0
18Qingchi San(青赤散)treats ulcerative colitis in mice by inhibiting the nuclear factor-kappa B signaling pathway and Nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain,leucine-rich repeat and pyrin domain-containing 3 inflammasome formation显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Qingchi San(青赤散,QCS),a preparation of Traditional Chinese Medicine,on ulcerative colitis(UC)in mice by inhibiting the nuclearfactor-kappa B(NF-κB)signaling pathway and nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain,leucine-rich repeat and pyrin domain-containing 3(NLRP3)inflammasome formation.METHODS:The UC model was established with male C57BL/6J as the animal model.Bodyweight,Disease Activity Index(DAI),colon length and weight were detected.Furthermore,colonic histology was performed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining.interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),myeloperoxidase(MPO)and superoxide dismutase(SOD)were performed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Cyclooxygenase 2(COX2)and inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)mRNA expression were conducted by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR).NF-κB,inhibitor of NF-κBα(iκBα),Phosphorylated inhibitor of NF-κBα(p-iκBα),caspase-1,NLRP3 and Apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain(ASC)protein expression were conducted by Western blotting.RESULTS:Compared with UC model group,Bodyweight was significantly increased in QCS treatment.At the same time,DAI was significantly decreased in QCS treatment.Colon length and weight and colonic histology were significantly improved in QCS treatment.Furthermore,the expression of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α,MPO,SOD,COX2,and iN OS were significantly decreased in QCS treatment.Finally,the expression of NF-κB signaling pathway-related proteins NF-κB,iκBα,p-iκBα,and the expression of NLRP3 inflammasome related proteins caspase-1,NLRP3 and ASC were significantly decreased in QCS treatment.CONCLUSION:Traditional Chinese drug QCS could treat UC by inhibiting the NF-κB signaling pathway and NLRP3 inflammasome formation in mice.ZHOU Zhenghua JI Jianbin WANG Hongxia YAN Lin KANG Hongchang 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1:0
19In situ biosynthesis of bacterial cellulose hydrogel spheroids with tunable dimensions显示文摘Bacterial cellulose(BC)hydrogel spheroid plays a significant role in diverse fields due to its spatial 3D structure and properties.In the present work,a series of BC spheroids with controllable size and shape was obtained via an in situ biosynthesis.Crucial factors for fabricating BC spheroid in-cluding inoculum concentration of 1.35×10^(3)CFU/mL,shaking speeds at 100 r/min,and 48-96 h incubation time during the biosynthetic process,were comprehensively established.An operable mechanism model for tuning the size of BC spheroids from 0.4 to 5.0 mm was proposed with a fresh feeding medium strategy of dynamic culture.The resulting BC spheroids exhibit an inter-active 3D network of nanofibers,a crystallinity index of 72.3%,a specific surface area of 91.2 m^(2)/g,and good cytocompatibility.This study reinforces the understanding of BC spheroid forma-tion and explores new horizons for the design of BC spheroids-derived functional matrix materials for medical care.Bianjing Sun Ping Wang Jingang Zhang Jianbin Lin Lingling Sun Xiaokun Wang Chuntao Chen Dongping Sun 2024Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2024,9,1:0
20Classification of Rice Yield Using UAV-Based Hyperspectral Imagery and Lodging Feature显示文摘High-yield rice cultivation is an effective way to address the increasing food demand worldwide.Correct classification of high-yield rice is a key step of breeding.However,manual measurements within breeding programs are time consuming and have high cost and low throughput,which limit the application in large-scale field phenotyping.In this study,we developed an accurate large-scale approach and presented the potential usage of hyperspectral data for rice yield measurement using the XGBoost algorithm to speed up the rice breeding process for many breeders.In total,13 japonica rice lines in regional trials in northern China were divided into different categories according to the manual measurement of yield.Using an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)platform equipped with a hyperspectral camera to capture images over multiple time series,a rice yield classification model based on the XGBoost algorithm was proposed.Four comparison experiments were carried out through the intraline test and the interline test considering lodging characteristics at the midmature stage or not.The result revealed that the degree of lodging in the midmature stage was an important feature affecting the classification accuracy of rice.Thus,we developed a low-cost,high-throughput phenotyping and nondestructive method by combining UAV-based hyperspectral measurements and machine learning for estimation of rice yield to improve rice breeding efficiency.Jian Wang Bizhi Wu Markus VKohnen Daqi Lin Changcai Yang Xiaowei Wang Ailing Qiang Wei Liu Jianbin Kang Hua Li Jing Shen Tianhao Yao Jun Su Bangyu Li Lianfeng Gu 2021Plant Phenomics2021,3,1:0
