| 2 | N‑Doped Graphene‑Decorated NiCo Alloy Coupled with Mesoporous NiCoMoO Nano‑sheet Heterojunction for Enhanced Water Electrolysis Activity at High Current Density显示文摘Developing highly effective and stable non-noble metalbased bifunctional catalyst working at high current density is an urgent issue for water electrolysis(WE).Herein,we prepare the N-doped graphene-decorated NiCo alloy coupled with mesoporous NiCoMoO nano-sheet grown on 3D nickel foam(NiCo@C-NiCoMoO/NF)for water splitting.NiCo@C-NiCoMoO/NF exhibits outstanding activity with low overpotentials for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reaction(HER:39/266 mV;OER:260/390 mV)at±10 and±1000 mA cm^(−2).More importantly,in 6.0 M KOH solution at 60℃ for WE,it only requires 1.90 V to reach 1000 mA cm−2 and shows excellent stability for 43 h,exhibiting the potential for actual application.The good performance can be assigned to N-doped graphene-decorated NiCo alloy and mesoporous NiCoMoO nano-sheet,which not only increase the intrinsic activity and expose abundant catalytic activity sites,but also enhance its chemical and mechanical stability.This work thus could provide a promising material for industrial hydrogen production. | Guangfu Qian Jinli Chen Tianqi Yu Lin Luo Shibin Yin | 2021 | Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,5: | 7 |

| 4 | Three-Phase Heterojunction NiMo-Based Nano-Needle for Water Splitting at Industrial Alkaline Condition显示文摘Constructing heterojunction is an effective strategy to develop high-performance non-preciousmetal-based catalysts for electrochemical water splitting(WS).Herein,we design and prepare an N-doped-carbon-encapsulated Ni/MoO_(2) nano-needle with three-phase heterojunction(Ni/MoO_(2)@CN)for accelerating the WS under industrial alkaline condition.Density functional theory calculations reveal that the electrons are redistributed at the three-phase heterojunction interface,which optimizes the adsorption energy of H-and O-containing intermediates to obtain the best ΔG_(H*) for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and decrease the ΔG value of ratedetermining step for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),thus enhancing the HER/OER catalytic activity.Electrochemical results confirm that Ni/MoO_(2)@CN exhibits good activity for HER(ƞ_(-10)=33 mV,ƞ_(-1000)=267 mV)and OER(ƞ_(10)=250 mV,ƞ_(1000)=420 mV).It shows a low potential of 1.86 V at 1000 mA cm^(−2) for WS in 6.0 M KOH solution at 60℃ and can steadily operate for 330 h.This good HER/OER performance can be attributed to the three-phase heterojunction with high intrinsic activity and the self-supporting nano-needle with more active sites,faster mass diffusion,and bubbles release.This work provides a unique idea for designing high efficiency catalytic materials for WS. | Guangfu Qian Jinli Chen Tianqi Yu Jiacheng Liu Lin Luo Shibin Yin | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,1: | 4 |
| 5 | A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. | 6 | Dual interfacial engineering for efficient Cs_(2)AgBiBr_(6) based solar cells显示文摘The emerging lead-free halide double perovskite solar cells have attracted widespread attentions due to their long-term stability and non-toxicity, but suffer from the low device performance. One efficiencylimiting factor is the improper contacts between the halide double perovskite and anode/cathode electrodes. Here, we improve the efficiency and stability of the bismuth-halide double perovskite based solar cells by a synergistic interface design for both electron and hole transport layers(ETL/HTL). The results show that the modification of the TiO_2 ETL with a thin hydrophobic C60 layer and replacement of the lithium-doped small molecule HTL with an un-doped conjugated polymer lead to higher surface quality of perovskite film and better energy-level alignment at the contacts. As a result, the optimized device shows reduced trap density, suppressed charge recombination and enhanced charge extraction, leading to an increase of 69% in device efficiency. In addition, the device also exhibits superior stability in ambient environment, heat stress and light bias after interface optimization. | 8 | Notch signaling leads to a slower progression of embryonic myogenic differentiation in Landrace than in Langtang pigs显示文摘Delving into porcine embryonic myogenesis is the key to elucidate the complex regulation of breed-specific differences in growth performance and meat production.Increasing evidence proves that pigs with less meat production show earlier embryonic myogenesis,but little is known about the underlying mechanisms.In this study,we examine the longissimus dorsi muscle(LDM)by immunohistochemistry and confirm that the differentiation of myogenic progenitors is increased(P<0.05)in Lantang(LT,fatty)pigs compared with that in Landrace(LR,lean)pigs,which results in more(P<0.001)differentiated myoblasts(Pax7-/MyoD^(+))and less(P<0.001)myogenic progenitors(Pax7^(+)/MyoD^(-))in LT pigs at 35 days post-conception(35dpc).Additionally,embryonic myogenic progenitors isolated from LT pigs show greater(P<0.001)differentiation capacity with earlier expression of MyoD compared with those from LR pigs.Moreover,Notch signaling is more active(P<0.05)in LR pig myogenic progenitors than in LT pig myogenic progenitors.Inhibition of Notch signaling in LR myogenic progenitors suppresses Pax7 expression and increases MyoD expression,thus promoting myogenic differentiation.Consistently,the process of myogenic progenitors differentiating into myoblasts in ex vivo embryo limbs is accelerated when Notch signaling is inhibited.These results indicate that Notch signaling facilitates the maintenance of myogenic progenitors and antagonizes myogenic differentiation by promoting Pax7 expression and preventing MyoD expression in LR pigs. | Shufang Cai Bin Hu Qi Zhu Tianqi Duo Xiaoyu Wang Xian Tong Xiaorong Luo Renqiang Yuan Yaosheng Chen Jing Wang Chenglong Luo Baosong Xing Delin Mo | 2022 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,8: | 0 |
