| 1 | The tomato HIGH PIGMENT1/DAMAGED DNA BINDING PROTEIN 1 gene contributes to regulation of fruit ripening显示文摘Fleshy fruit ripening is governed by multiple external and internal cues and accompanied by changes in color,texture,volatiles,and nutritional quality traits.While extended shelf-life and increased phytonutrients are desired,delaying ripening via genetic or postharvest means can be accompanied by reduced nutritional value.Here we report that the high pigment 1(hp1)mutation at the UV-DAMAGED DNA BINDING PROTEIN 1(DDB1)locus,previously shown to influence carotenoid and additional phytonutrient accumulation via altered light signal transduction,also results in delayed ripening and firmer texture,resulting at least in part from decreased ethylene evolution.Transcriptome analysis revealed multiple ethylene biosynthesis and signaling-associated genes downregulated in hp1.Furthermore,the hp1 mutation impedes softening of the pericarp,placenta,columella as well as the whole fruit,in addition to reduced expression of the FRUITFUL2(FUL2)MADS-box transcription factor and xyloglucan endotransglucosylase/hydrolase 5(XTH5).These results indicate that DDB1 influences a broader range of fruit development and ripening processes than previously thought and present an additional genetic target for increasing fruit quality and shelf-life. | Anquan Wang Danyang Chen Qiyue Ma Jocelyn K.C.Rose Zhangjun Fei Yongsheng Liu James J.Giovannoni | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 3 |
| 2 | Multi-label learning algorithm with SVM based association显示文摘Multi-label learning is an active research area which plays an important role in machine learning. Traditional learning algorithms, however, have to depend on samples with complete labels. The existing learning algorithms with missing labels do not consider the relevance of labels, resulting in label estimation errors of new samples. A new multi-label learning algorithm with support vector machine(SVM) based association(SVMA) is proposed to estimate missing labels by constructing the association between different labels. SVMA will establish a mapping function to minimize the number of samples in the margin while ensuring the margin large enough as well as minimizing the misclassification probability. To evaluate the performance of SVMA in the condition of missing labels, four typical data sets are adopted with the integrity of the labels being handled manually. | 4 | What kind of optical model potentials should be used for deuteron stripping reactions?显示文摘This paper presents the results of a study that compares CTOM, a microscopic optical model potential(OMP), which is an optical model co-created by the China Nuclear Data Center & Tuebingen University, to CH89, which is a typical phenomenological OMP.The respective OMPs were tested by applying them to the modelling of nucleon elastic scattering and(d,p) transfer reactions involving14C,36S, and58Ni targets at both low and relatively high energies. The results demonstrated that although both potentials successfully accounted for the angular distributions of both the elastic scattering and transfer cross sections, the absolute values of the transfer cross sections calculated using CTOM were approximately 25% larger than those calculated using CH89. This increased transfer cross sections allowed CTOM to produce single particle strength reduction factors for the three reactions that were consistent with those extracted from(e,e′p) reactions as well as with more recent(p,2p) and(p,pn) reactions. Notch tests suggested that nucleon elastic scattering and transfer reactions are sensitive to different regions of the OMP;accordingly,phenomenological OMPs, which are constrained only by elastic scattering cross sections, may not be sufficient for nucleon transfer reactions. | 6 | Research on Low Energy Consumption Distributed Fault Detection Mechanism in Wireless Sensor Network显示文摘Wireless sensor network is an important technical support for ubiquitous communication. For the serious impacts of network failure caused by the unbalanced energy consumption of sensor nodes, hardware failure and attacker intrusion on data transmission, a low energy consumption distributed fault detection mechanism in wireless sensor network(LEFD) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the time correlation information of nodes is used to detect fault nodes in LEFD, and then the spatial correlation information is adopted to detect the remaining fault nodes, so as to check the states of nodes comprehensively and improve the efficiency of data transmission. In addition, the nodes do not need to exchange information with their neighbor nodes in the initial detection process since LEFD adopts the data sensed by node itself to detect some types of faults, thus reducing the energy consumption of nodes effectively. Finally, LEFD also considers the nodes that may have transient faults. | 9 | Intensified risk to ecosystem productivity under climate change in the arid/humid transition zone in northern China显示文摘Assessing the climate change risk faced by the ecosystems in the arid/humid transition zone(AHTZ)in northern China holds scientific significance to climate change adaptation.We simulated the net primary productivity(NPP)for four representative concentration pathways(RCPs)using an improved Lund-Potsdam-Jena model.Then a method was established based on the NPP to identify the climate change risk level.From the midterm period(2041–2070)to the long-term period(2071–2099),the risks indicated by the negative anomaly and the downward trend of the NPP gradually extended and increased.The higher the scenario emissions,the more serious the risk.In particular,under the RCP8.5 scenario,during 2071–2099,the total risk area would be 81.85%,that of the high-risk area would reach 54.71%.In this high-risk area,the NPP anomaly would reach–96.00±46.95 gC·m-2·a-1,and the rate of change of the NPP would reach–3.56±3.40 gC·m-2·a-1.The eastern plain of the AHTZ and the eastern grasslands of Inner Mongolia are expected to become the main risk concentration areas.Our results indicated that the management of future climate change risks requires the consideration of the synergistic effects of warming and intensified drying on the ecosystem. | YIN Yunhe DENG Haoyu MA Danyang WU Shaohong | 2021 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2021,31,9: | 0 |

| 11 | Enhanced monopole transition strength from the cluster decay of ^(13)C显示文摘The inelastic excitations and cluster decay of ^(13)C have been measured using the reaction,9Be(^(13)C, ^(13)C* →~9Be + α)~9Be. We observe strong excitation to the 14.3-MeV(1/2-) resonant state from the cluster-decay channel, leading to an enhanced monopole matrix element of(6.3 ± 0.6) fm^2. This large cluster-related monopole strength is a clear indication of the cluster-structure domination of this state and is consistent with the recent prediction of the orthogonality condition model(OCM). | 12 | A nomogram-based immune-serum scoring system predicts overall survival in patients with lung adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective:The immunoscore,which is used to quantify immune infiltrates,has greater relative prognostic value than tumor,node,and metastasis(TNM)stage and might serve as a new system for classification of colorectal cancer.However,a comparable immunoscore for predicting lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)prognosis is currently lacking.Methods:We analyzed the expression of 18 immune features by immunohistochemistry in 171 specimens.The relationship of immune marker expression and clinicopathologic factors to the overall survival(OS)was analyzed with the Kaplan-Meier method.A nomogram was developed by using the optimal features selected by least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)regression in the training cohort(n=111)and evaluated in the validation cohort(n=60).Results:The indicators integrated in the nomogram were TNM stage,neuron-specific enolase,carcino-embryonic antigen,CD8 center of tumor(CT),CD8 invasive margin(IM),Fox P3 CT,and CD45 ROCT.The calibration curve showed prominent agreement between the observed 2-and 5-year OS and that predicted by the nomogram.To simplify the nomogram,we developed a new immune-serum scoring system(I-SSS)based on the points awarded for each factor in the nomogram.Our I-SSS was able to stratify same-stage patients into different risk subgroups.The combination of I-SSS and TNM stage had better prognostic value than the TNM stage alone.Conclusions:Our new I-SSS can accurately and individually predict LUAD prognosis and may be used to supplement prognostication based on the TNM stage. | Qiujuan Huang Tongyuan Qu Lisha Qi Changxu Liu Yuhong Guo Qianru Guo Guangning Li Yalei Wang Wenshuai Zhang Wei Zhao Danyang Ren Leina Sun Shengguang Wang Bin Meng Baocun Sun Bin Zhang Wenjuan Ma Wenfeng Cao | 2021 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,2: | 0 |
| 13 | Enhance the performance of polymer solar cells via extension of the flanking end groups of fused ring acceptors显示文摘Two new fused ring electron acceptors(FREAs)IDT-IC-T and IDT-IC-B with thienyl or phenyl substituents at the terminal INCN unit are synthesized.Theoretical calculations indicate that the two acceptors dominantly favor an intermolecularπ-πstacking between the flanking terminal groups.The twist angle between the aryl substituent and INCN unit has a significant influence on theπ-πstacking distance of terminal unit.IDT-IC-T with a smaller twist angle has a shorterπ-πstacking distance than that of IDT-IC-B with a larger twist angle.In addition,extending the conjugation also affects the blend film morphology.IDT-IC-T and IDT-IC-B based photoactive films show appropriate nanoscale phase separations;whereas,blend films based on the parent compound IDT-IC show large-size acceptor domains.As expected,PBDB-T:IDT-IC-T blend films show higher and more balanced electron and hole mobilities.Moreover,these two acceptors present a good charge-transport connectivity arising from the extended conjugation and the increased intermolecular overlapping.Ultimately,IDT-IC-T demonstrates the highest electron mobility(1.47×10^(-4)cm^2V^(-1)s^(-1))and the best power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 9.43%.As for IDT-IC,which only shows an electron mobility of 7.33×10^(-5)cm^2V^(-1)s^(-1)and a PCE of 5.82%.These findings provide a facile and effective way to improve the photovoltaic performance. | Shiyu Feng Danyang Ma Liangliang Wu Yahui Liu Cai'e Zhang Xinjun Xu Xuebo Chen Shouke Yan Zhishan Bo | 2018 | Science China Chemistry2018,61,10: | 0 |
