| 1 | Elevated plasma levels of selective cytokines in COVID-19 patients reflect viral load and lung injury显示文摘A recent outbreak of pneumonia in Wuhan,China was found to be caused by a 2019 novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV or SARS-CoV-2 or HCoV-19).We previously reported the clinical features of 12 patients with2019-n Co V infections in Shenzhen,China.To further understand the pathogenesis of COVID-19 and find better ways to monitor and treat the disease caused by 2019-n Co V,we measured the levels of 48 cytokines in the blood plasma of those 12 COVID-19 patients.Thirty-eight out of the 48 measured cytokines in the plasma of 2019-n Co V-infected patients were significantly elevated compared to healthy individuals.Seventeen cytokines were linked to 2019-nCoV loads.Fifteen cytokines,namely M-CSF,IL-10,IFN-α2,IL-17,IL-4,IP-10,IL-7,IL-1 ra,G-CSF,IL-12,IFN-γ,IL-1α,IL-2,HGF and PDGF-BB,were strongly associated with the lung-injury Murray score and could be used to predict the disease severity of2019-n Co V infections by calculating the area under the curve of the receiver-operating characteristics.Our results suggest that 2019-nCoV infections trigger extensive changes in a wide array of cytokines,some of which could be potential biomarkers of disease severity of 2019-n Co V infections.These findings will likely improve our understanding of the immunopathologic mechanisms of this emerging disease.Our results also suggest that modulators of cytokine responses may play a therapeutic role in combating the disease once the functions of these elevated cytokines have been characterized. | Yingxia Liu Cong Zhang Fengming Huang Yang Yang Fuxiang Wang Jing Yuan Zheng Zhang Yuhao Qin Xiaoyun Li Dandan Zhao Shunwang Li Shuguang Tan Zhaoqin Wang Jinxiu Li Chenguang Shen Jianming Li Ling Peng Weibo Wu Mengli Cao Li Xing Zhixiang Xu Li Chen Congzhao Zhou William J Liu Lei Liu Chengyu Jiang | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,6: | 6 |

| 4 | A chromosome-scale genome assembly of Dasypyrum villosum provides insights into its application as a broad-spectrum disease resistance resource for wheat improvement显示文摘Dasypyrum villosum is one of the most valuable gene resources in wheat improvement,especially for disease resistance.The mining of favorable genes from D.villosum is frustrated by the lack of a whole genome sequence.In this study,we generated a doubled-haploid line,91C43^(DH),using microspore culture and obtained a 4.05-GB high-quality,chromosome-scale genome assembly for D.villosum.The assembly contains39727 high-confidence genes,and 85.31% of the sequences are repetitive.Two reciprocal translocation events were detected,and 7VS-4VL is a unique translocation in D.villosum.The prolamin seed storage protein-coding genes were found to be duplicated;in particular,the genes encoding low-molecular-weight glutenin at the Glu-V3 locus were significantly expanded.RNA sequencing(RNA-seq)analysis indicated that,after Blumeria graminearum f.sp tritici(Bgt)inoculation,there were more upregulated genes involved in the pattern-triggered immunity and effector-triggered immunity defense pathways in D.villosum than in Triticum urartu.MNase hypersensitive sequencing(MH-seq)identified two Bgt-inducible MH sites(MHSs),one in the promoter and one in the 3'terminal region of the powdery mildew resistance(Pm)gene NLR1-V.Each site had two subpeaks and they were termed MHS1(MHS1.1/1.2)and MHS2(MHS2.1/2.2).Bgt-inducible MHS2.2 was uniquely present in D.villosum,and MHS1.1 was more inducible in D.villosum than in wheat,suggesting that MHSs may be critical for regulation of NLR1-V expression and plant defense.In summary,this study provides a valuable genome resource for functional genomics studies and wheat-D.villosum introgression breeding.The identified regulatory mechanisms may also be exploited to develop new strategies for enhancing Pm resistance by optimizing gene expression in wheat. | Xu Zhang Haiyan Wang Haojie Sun Yingbo Li Yilong Feng Chengzhi Jiao Mengli Li Xinying Song Tong Wang Zongkuan Wang Chunxia Yuan Li Sun Ruju Lu Wenli Zhang Jin Xiao Xiue Wang | 2023 | Molecular Plant2023,16,2: | 1 |

| 9 | Dynamical analysis of an SDOF quasi‐linear system with jump noises and multitime‐delayed feedback forces显示文摘In this paper,stochastic dynamics of a single degree‐of‐freedom quasi‐linear system with multitime delays and Poisson white noises are investigated using an approximate procedure based on the stochastic averaging method.The simplified equations,including the averaged stochastic differential equation and the averaged generalized Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equation,are obtained to calculate the probability density functions(PDFs)to explore stationary responses.The expression of the Lyapunov exponent is presented to examine the asymptotic stochastic Lyapunov stability.An illustrative example of a quasi‐linear oscillator with two Poisson white noises controlled by two time‐delayed feedback forces is worked out to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.The approximate stationary PDFs of stochastic responses and asymptotic stochastic stability are demonstrated numerically and theoretically.The results show that the Gaussian white noise has a stronger influence on the dynamics than the Poisson white noise with a small mean arrival rate.Moreover,the influence of the time delay and noise parameters on stochastic dynamics is investigated.It is found that the PDFs under the Poisson white noise approach those under Gaussian white noise as the mean arrival rate increases.The time delay can induce stochastic P‐bifurcation of the system.It is also found that the increase of time delay and the mean arrival rates of the Poisson white noises will broaden the unstable parameter region.The comparison between numerical and theoretical results shows the effectiveness of the proposed method. | Wantao Jia Mingxia Luo Mengli Hao Yong Xu | 2022 | International Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics2022,2,2: | 0 |
