| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 3 | Synthesis of Mg-Al-carbonate layered double hydroxide by an atom-economic reaction显示文摘A clean method for preparing layered double hydroxides (LDHs) has been developed, featured by using the hydroxides of two different metals as starting materials by atom-economic reactions. The reactions were carried out under hydrothermal conditions in either a high pressure autoclave or a microwave digester. The compositions, structural parameters and thermal behavior of the resulting LDHs are very similar to those of materials produced by using the separate nucleation and aging steps (SNAS) method. The major advantage of the new method is that no by-product is produced, so that filtration and washing processes are unnecessary. | 11 | A novel method for solving shortest tool length based on compressing 3D check surfaces relative to tool postures显示文摘Solving the shortest tool length quickly under a known tool trajectory in multi-axis machining of complex channel parts is an urgent problem in industrial production. To solve this problem, a novel and efficient method is proposed which is featured by extracting only a few necessary curves from the check surface instead of sampling the entire surface. By rotating and compressing the 3 D check surface relative to all tool postures, the boundaries of the area occupied by the 2 D compressed surfaces are the essential elements for determining the shortest tool length. A tracking-based numerical algorithm is introduced to efficiently solve the silhouette curves which are formed in compressing. To define the multi-taper shaped tool holding system(THS) which is commonly used in production, a characterization model for THS profile is established. A model for solving the shortest tool length is finally constructed based on the critical interference relationship between the THS profile and all compressed boundary curves. For acceleration, the boundary splines are segmented according to their knot vectors. Then a new concept called the axis-aligned tool length box(AATB) is introduced,which can provide a conservative range of tool length for a spline segment. By scanning the AATBs of all spline segments, the very few effective spline segments that may ultimately determine the shortest tool length are filtered out. This acceleration method makes the solution for the shortest tool length more focused and efficient. | 12 | Determination of bemegride and its Salts in Cosmetics by HPLC and Their Verification by HPLC-MS/MS显示文摘A high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method has been developed for the determination of bemegride and its salts in cosmetics. A high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS) method was used for the verification of the analytical results. Cosmetic samples were ultrasonically extracted with methanol, centrifuged and filtered by microporous membrane filter prior to instrumental analysis. The chromatographic separation of the analytes was performed using a Symmetry C18 (4.6 mm × 250 mm, 5 μm) column. The quantitation was carried out by external standard method. The experimental results indicated that the limit of quantitation (LOQ) for bemegride and its salts was 0.5 mg/kg. The mean recoveries at three spiked levels ranged from 85.1% to 107.4% with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) between 3.7% and 9.3%. The suspected positive samples were subjected to further verification by HPLC-MS/ MS. | 14 | Gli1 promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition and metastasis of non-small cell lung carcinoma by regulating snail transcriptional activity and stability显示文摘Metastasis is crucial for the mortality of non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC) patients.The epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT) plays a critical role in regulating tumor metastasis.Glioma-associated oncogene 1(Gli1) is aberrantly active in a series of tumor tissues. However, the molecular regulatory relationships between Gli1 and NSCLC metastasis have not yet been identified. Herein,we reported Gli1 promoted NSCLC metastasis. High Gli1 expression was associated with poor survival of NSCLC patients. Ectopic expression of Gli1 in low metastatic A549 and NCI-H460 cells enhanced their migration, invasion abilities and facilitated EMT process, whereas knock-down of Gli1 in high metastatic NCI-H1299 and NCI-H1703 cells showed an opposite effect. Notably, Gli1 overexpression accelerated the lung and liver metastasis of NSCLC in the intravenously injected metastasis model. Further research showed that Gli1 positively regulated Snail expression by binding to its promoter and enhancing its protein stability, thereby facilitating the migration, invasion and EMT of NSCLC. In addition, administration of GANT-61, a Gli1 inhibitor, obviously suppressed the metastasis of NSCLC. | 17 | Ancestral function but divergent epigenetic regulation of HAIKU2 reveals routes of seed developmental evolution显示文摘Evolution is driven by various mechanisms.A directional increase in the embryo to endosperm ratio is an evolutionary trend within the angiosperms.The endosperm constitutes a major portion of the seed volume in Poales and some dicots.However,in other dicots such as Arabidopsis and soybean,the endosperm proliferates early,followed by embryo growth to replace the endosperm.The Arabidopsis leucine-rich repeat receptor protein kinase AtHAIKU2(AtIKU2)is a key regulator of early endosperm proliferation.In this study,we found that IKU2s from Brachypodium,rice,and soybean can complement the abnormal seed developmental phenotype of Atiku2,while AtIKU2 also rescues the defective endosperm proliferation in the Brachypodium BdIKU2 knockout mutant seeds.AtIKU2 and soybean GmIKU2 are actively expressed a few days after fertilization.Thereafter,expression of AtIKU2 is suppressed by the FIS-PRC2 complex-mediated H3K27me3.The soybean GmIKU2 locus is also enriched with H3K27me3 marks.The histone methyltransferase AtMEA is unique to Brassicaceae,but one GmSWN in soybean plays a similar role in seed development as AtMEA.By contrast,the BdIKU2 and rice OsIKU2 loci are continuously expressed and are devoid of H3K27me3 marks.Taken together,these results suggest that IKU2 genes retain an ancestral function,but the duration of their expression that is controlled by PRC2-mediated epigenetic silencing contributes to silenced or persistent endosperm proliferation in different species.Our study reveals an epigenetic mechanism that drives the development of vastly different seed ontogenies. | Di Wu Yiming Wei Xiangyu Zhao Boka Li Huankai Zhang Gang Xu Juntong Lv Dajian Zhang Xiansheng Zhang Min Ni | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,10: | 0 |
