1Field experiment on a robust hierarchical metropolitan quantum cryptography network显示文摘A hierarchical metropolitan quantum cryptography network upon the inner-city commercial telecom fiber cables is reported in this paper. The seven-user network contains a four-node backbone net with one node acting as the subnet gateway, a two-user subnet and a single-fiber access link, which is realized by the Faraday-Michelson interferometer set-ups. The techniques of the quantum router, optical switch and trusted relay are assembled here to guarantee the feasibility and expandability of the quantum cryptography network. Five nodes of the network are located in the government departments and the secure keys generated by the quantum key distribution network are utilized to encrypt the instant video, sound, text messages and confidential files transmitting between these bureaus. 2Multiple stochastic paths scheme on partially-trusted relay quantum key distribution network显示文摘Quantum key distribution (QKD) technology provides proven unconditional point-to-point security based on fundamental quantum physics. A QKD network also holds promise for secure multi-user communications over long distances at high-speed transmission rates. Although many schemes have been proposed so far, the trusted relay QKD network is still the most practical and flexible scenario. In reality, the insecurity of certain relay sections cannot be ignored, so to solve the fatal security problems of partially-trusted relay networks we suggest a multiple stochastic paths scheme. Its features are: (i) a safe probability model that may be more practical for real applications; (ii) a multi-path scheme with an upper bound for the overall safe probability; (iii) an adaptive stochastic routing algorithm to generate sufficient different paths and hidden routes. 6Can climate change influence agricultural GTFP in arid and semi-arid regions of Northwest China?显示文摘There are eight provinces and autonomous regions(Gansu Province,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,Tibet Autonomous Region,Qinghai Province,Shanxi Province,and Shaanxi Province)in Northwest China,most areas of which are located in arid and semi-arid regions(northwest of the 400 mm precipitation line),accounting for 58.74%of the country's land area and sustaining approximately 7.84×10^6 people.Because of drought conditions and fragile ecology,these regions cannot develop agriculture at the expense of the environment.Given the challenges of global warming,the green total factor productivity(GTFP),taking CO2 emissions as an undesirable output,is an effective index for measuring the sustainability of agricultural development.Agricultural GTFP can be influenced by both internal production factors(labor force,machinery,land,agricultural plastic film,diesel,pesticide,and fertilizer)and external climate factors(temperature,precipitation,and sunshine duration).In this study,we used the Super-slacks-based measure(Super-SBM)model to measure agricultural GTFP during the period 2000-2016 at the regional level.Our results show that the average agricultural GTFP of most provinces and autonomous regions in arid and semi-arid regions underwent a fluctuating increase during the study period(2000-2016),and the fluctuation was caused by the production factors(input and output factors).To improve agricultural GTFP,Shaanxi,Shanxi,and Gansu should reduce agricultural labor force input;Shaanxi,Inner Mongolia,Gansu,and Shanxi should decrease machinery input;Shaanxi,Inner Mongolia,Xinjiang,and Shanxi should reduce fertilizer input;Shaanxi,Xinjiang,Gansu,and Ningxia should reduce diesel input;Xinjiang and Gansu should decrease plastic film input;and Gansu,Shanxi,and Inner Mongolia should cut pesticide input.Desirable output agricultural earnings should be increased in Qinghai and Tibet,and undesirable output(CO2 emissions)should be reduced in Inner Mongolia,Xinjiang,Gansu,and Shaanxi.Agricultural GTFP is influenced not only by internal production factors but also by external climate factors.To determine the influence of climate factors on GTFP in these provinces and autonomous regions,we used a Geographical Detector(Geodetector)model to analyze the influence of climate factors(temperature,precipitation,and sunshine duration)and identify the relationships between different climate factors and GTFP.We found that temperature played a significant role in the spatial heterogeneity of GTFP among provinces and autonomous regions in arid and semi-arid regions.For Xinjiang,Inner Mongolia,and Tibet,a suitable average annual temperature would be in the range of 7℃-9℃;for Gansu,Shanxi,and Ningxia,it would be 11℃-13℃;and for Shaanxi,it would be 15℃-17℃.Stable climatic conditions and more efficient production are prerequisites for the development of sustainable agriculture.Hence,in the agricultural production process,reducing the redundancy of input factors is the best way to reduce CO2 emissions and to maintain temperatures,thereby improving the agricultural GTFP.The significance of this study is that it explores the impact of both internal production factors and external climatic factors on the development of sustainable agriculture in arid and semi-arid regions,identifying an effective way forward for the arid and semi-arid regions of Northwest China.FENG Jian ZHAO Lingdi ZHANG Yibo SUN Lingxiao YU Xiang YU Yang 2020Journal of Arid Land2020,12,5:6

8Dimericbiscognienynes B and C: New diisoprenyl-cyclohexene-type meroterpenoid dimers from Biscogniauxia sp.显示文摘Dimericbiscognienynes B and C(1 and 2), two new diisoprenyl-cyclohexene-type meroterpenoid dimers,were isolated from Biscogniauxia sp. 71-10-1-1. Their structures, including the absolute configurations,were determined by spectroscopic analyses and ECD experiments. Meroterpenoids are special natural products that originate from mixed terpenoid-nonterpenoid pathway. As a member of meroterpenoid family, diisoprenyl-cyclohexene/ane-type meroterpenoids composed of two isoprenyl chains(C5 unit)and a cyclohexene/ane moiety(C6 unit), featuring diverse skeleton structures with wide range of bioactivities. In these reported diisoprenyl-cyclohexene/ane-type meroterpenoids, only three dimers were identified. 9Differences in the Tectonic Evolution of Basins in the CentralSouthern South China Sea and their Hydrocarbon Accumulation Conditions显示文摘To reveal the causes of differences in the hydrocarbon accumulation in continental marginal basins in the centralsouthern South China Sea,we used gravity-magnetic,seismic,drilling,and outcrop data to investigate the tectonic histories of the basins and explore how these tectonic events controlled the hydrocarbon accumulation conditions in these basins.During the subduction of the Cenozoic proto-South China Sea and the expansion of the new South China Sea,the continental margin basins in the central-southern South China Sea could be classified as one of three types of epicontinental basins:southern extensional-foreland basins,western extensional-strike slip basins,and central extensional-drift basins.Because these basins have different tectonic and sedimentary histories,they also differ in their accumulated hydrocarbon resources.During the Cenozoic,the basin groups in the southern South China Sea generally progressed through three stages:faulting and subsidence from the late Eocene to the early Miocene,inversion and uplift in the middle Miocene,and subsidence since the late Miocene.Hydrocarbon source rocks with marine-continental transitional facies dominated byⅡ-Ⅲkerogen largely developed in extremely thick Miocene sedimentary series with the filling characteristics being mainly deep-water deposits in the early stage and shallow water deposits in the late stage.With well-developed sandstone and carbonate reservoirs,this stratum has a strong hydrocarbon generation potential.During the Cenozoic,the basin groups in the western South China Sea also progressed through the three developmental stages discussed previously.Hydrocarbon source rocks with lacustrine facies,marine-continental transitional facies,and terrigenous marine facies dominated byⅡ2-Ⅲkerogen largely developed in the relatively thick stratum with the filling characteristics being mainly lacustrine deposits in the early stage and marine deposits in the late stage.As a reservoir comprised of self-generated and self-stored sandstone,this unit also has a high hydrocarbon generation potential.Throughout those same three developmental stages,the basin groups in the central South China Sea generated hydrocarbon source rocks with terrigenous marine facies dominated byⅢkerogen that have developed in a stratum with medium thicknesses with the filling characteristics being mainly sandstone in the early stage and carbonate in the late stage.This reservoir,which is dominated by lower-generation and upper-storage carbonate rocks,also has a high hydrocarbon generation potential.TANG Wu ZHAO Zhigang SONG Shuang WANG Yibo XIE Xiaojun LIU Shixiang 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,1:3

11A review of in situ upgrading technology for heavy crude oil显示文摘With the growing demand of oil worldwide,heavy oil has increasingly become vital in the world energy market.However,further development of heavy oil reservoirs are limited by regular enhanced oil recovery(EOR)methods.In situ upgrading technology provides potential for the development of heavy oil and bitumen reservoirs.This study reviews three categories of in situ upgrading methods:solvent-based,in situ combustion(ISC),and catalytic.Solvent-based methods,including cyclic solvent injection,vapor extraction,and hybrid processes,have recently received attention and have been progressed in both laboratory and field applications.However,high solvent costs in relation to the low price of heavy oil have continued to limit the field applications of these techniques.ISC,which may have the potential to develop particularly harsh reservoirs with extremely viscous crude oil,involves complex reaction mechanisms and consists of three main steps:oxidation,combustion,and gas flooding.Yet,complex operating conditions and a low success rate have restricted its application.Catalytic methods,which have demonstrated the potential to refine and upgrade crude oil in a more economic and environmentally friendly way,are often accompanied by conventional thermal EOR methods,such as steam flooding and ISC,and involve a series of hydroprocessing or hydrotreating reactions,such as hydrocracking,hydrodesulfurization,hydrodenitrogenation,hydrodeoxygenation,and hydrodemetallization.However,the high cost and complexity of the reaction mechanisms have limited their applications.Yibo Li Zhiqiang Wang Zhiming Hu Yalong Li Wanfen Pu Jinzhou Zhao 2021Petroleum2021,7,2:2
12Ultrathin salt-free polymer-in-ceramic electrolyte for solid-state sodium batteries显示文摘The practical energy density of solid-state batteries remains limited,partly because of the lack of a general method to fabricate thin membranes for solid-state electrolytes with high ionic conductivity and low area-specific resistance(ASR).Herein,we use an ultrahigh concentration of a ceramic ion conductor(Na_(3)SbS_(4))to build an ionconduction“highway”,and a polymer(polyethylene oxide,2 wt%)as a flexible host to prepare a polymer-inceramic ion-conducting membrane of approximately 40μm.Without the use of any salt(e.g.,NaPF_(6)),the resulting membrane exhibits a threefold increase in electronic ASR and a twofold decrease in ionic ASR compared with a pure ceramic counterpart.The activation energy for sodium-ion transport is only 190 meV in the membrane,similar to that in pure ceramic,suggesting ion transport predominantly occurs through a percolated network of ion-conducting ceramic particles.The salt-free design also provides an opportunity to suppress dendritic metal electrodeposits,according to a recently refined chemomechanical model of metal deposition.Our work suggests that salt is not always necessary in composite solid-state electrolytes,which broadens the choice of polymers to allow the optimization of other desired attributes,such as mechanical strength,chemical/electrochemical stability,and cost.Bin Tang Yibo Zhao Zhiyi Wang Shiwei Chen Yifan Wu Yuming Tseng Lujiang Li Yunlong Guo Zhen Zhou Shou-Hang Bo 2021eScience2021,1,2:2
13Luminescent single-molecule magnet of metallofullerene DyErScN@Ih-C80显示文摘Magneto-luminescent molecules have significant applications in data storage and quantum computing.However,design of these bi-functional molecules coupled with magnetic behavior and photoluminescence is still challenging.In this work,we report a metallofullerene DyErScN @In-C80 exhibiting single-molecule magnet (SMM) behavior and near-infrared emission.For DyErScN @Ih-C80,two functional lanthanide metal ions of Dy^3+(SMM function) and Er^3+(luminescent function) are integrated inside a fullerene cage using a trimetallic nitride template,and its structure has been unambiguously characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.Magnetic measurements revealed that DyErScN @Ih-C80 behaves as a SMM with a blocking temperature up to 9 K resulting from the intramolecular magnetic interaction between Dy^3+ and Er^3+ ions.Moreover,DyErScN @In-C80 exhibits temperature-dependent near-infrared emission around 1.5 pm with multiple splitting peaks from Er^3+,which arises from the influence of Dy^3+ ion.This study provides a new strategy to synthesize new magneto-luminescent molecule materials.Mingzhe Nie Jin Xiong Chong Zhao Haibing Meng Kun Zhang Yibo Han Jie Li Bingwu Wang Lai Feng Chunru Wang Taishan Wang 2019Nano Research2019,12,7:2

16A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. 19The gradual subduction-collision evolution model of Proto-South China Sea and its control on oil and gas显示文摘This study involved outcrop,drilling,seismic,gravity,and magnetic data to systematically document the geological records of the subduction process of Proto-South China Sea(PSCS)and establish its evolution model.The results indicate that a series of arc-shaped ophiolite belts and calcalkaline magmatic rocks are developed in northern Borneo,both of which have the characteristics of gradually changing younger from west to east,and are direct signs of subduction and collision of PSCS.At the same time,the subduction of PSCS led to the formation of three accretion zones from the south to the north in Borneo,the Kuching belt,Sibu belt,and Miri belt.The sedimentary formation of northern Borneo is characterized by a three-layer structure,with the oceanic basement at the bottom,overlying the deep-sea flysch deposits of the Rajang–Crocker group,and the molasse sedimentary sequence that is dominated by river-delta and shallow marine facies at the top,recording the whole subduction–collision–orogeny process of PSCS.Further,seismic reflection and tomography also confirmed the subduction and collision of PSCS.Based on the geological records of the subduction and collision of PSCS,combined with the comprehensive analysis of segmented expansion and key tectonic events in the South China Sea,we establish the“gradual”subduction-collision evolution model of PSCS.During the late Eocene to middle Miocene,the Zengmu,Nansha,and Liyue–Palawan blocks were separated by West Baram Line and Balabac Fault,which collided with the Borneo block and Kagayan Ridge successively from the west to the east,forming several foreland basin systems,and PSCS subducted and closed from the west to the east.The subduction and extinction of PSCS controlled the oil and gas distribution pattern of southern South China Sea(SSCS)mainly in three aspects.First,the“gradual”closure process of PSCS led to the continuous development of many large deltas in SSCS.Second,the deltas formed during the subduction–collision of PSCS controlled the development of source rocks in the basins of SSCS.Macroscopically,the distribution and scale of deltas controlled the distribution and scale of source rocks,forming two types of source rocks,namely,coal measures and terrestrial marine facies.Microscopically,the difference of terrestrial higher plants carried by the delta controlled the proportion of macerals of source rocks.Third,the difference of source rocks mainly controlled the distribution pattern of oil and gas in SSCS.Meanwhile,the difference in the scale of source rocks mainly controlled the difference in the amount of oil and gas discoveries,resulting in a huge amount of oil and gas discoveries in the basin of SSCS.Meanwhile,the difference of macerals of source rocks mainly controlled the difference of oil and gas generation,forming the oil and gas distribution pattern of“nearshore oil and far-shore gas”.Xiaojun Xie Wu Tang Gongcheng Zhang Zhigang Zhao Shuang Song Shixiang Liu Yibo Wang Jia Guo 2023Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,3:1
