1Correlation between women's sub-health and reproductive diseases with pregnancies and labors显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate whether female sub-health conditions and reproductive diseases areassociated with pregnancies and labors.METHODS: A cross-sectional survey was performed by using a structured questionnaire. A total of 1343 women aged 35 years or younger in six urban areas of Chengdu were included in the study.According to the Screening Criteria of sub-health conditions, these women were categorized into three groups: postpartum healthy group,sub-healthy group, and reproductive disease group. Data were double-entered using EpiData and the nanalyzed by SPSS.RESULTS: Pregnancy and labor were correlated with postpartum sub-health conditions. The number of pregnancies was negatively correlated with women's postnatal health but was positively correlated with the incidence of postpartum reproductive diseases.CONCLUSION: The number of pregnancies and labors is probably an important factor leading to sub-health conditions and the occurrence of reproductive diseases in women. 3Source apportionment of PM_(2.5)light extinction in an urban atmosphere in China显示文摘Haze in China is primarily caused by high pollution of atmospheric fine particulates(PM2.5).However, the detailed source structures of PM2.5 light extinction have not been well established, especially for the roles of various organic aerosols, which makes haze management lack specified targets. This study obtained the mass concentrations of the chemical compositions and the light extinction coefficients of fine particles in the winter in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, using high time resolution aerosol observation instruments. We combined the positive matrix factor(PMF) analysis model of organic aerosols and the multiple linear regression method to establish a quantitative relationship model between the main chemical components, in particular the different sources of organic aerosols and the extinction coefficients of fine particles with a high goodness of fit(R^2= 0.953). The results show that the contribution rates of ammonium sulphate,ammonium nitrate, biomass burning organic aerosol(BBOA), secondary organic aerosol(SOA) and black carbon(BC) were 48.1%, 20.7%, 15.0%, 10.6%, and 5.6%, respectively. It can be seen that the contribution of the secondary aerosols is much higher than that of the primary aerosols(79.4% versus 20.6%) and are a major factor in the visibility decline. BBOA is found to have a high visibility destroying potential, with a high mass extinction coefficient, and was the largest contributor during some high pollution periods. 4Development of an on-line measurement system for water-soluble organic matter in PM_(2.5) and its application in China显示文摘Water-soluble organic matter(WSOM) represents a critical fraction of fine particles(PM_(2.5))in the air, but its changing behaviors and formation mechanisms are not well understood yet, partly due to the lack of fast techniques for the ambient measurements. In this study,a novel system for the on-line measurement of water-soluble components in PM_(2.5), the particle-into-liquid sampler(PILS)–Nebulizer–aerosol chemical speciation monitor(ACSM), was developed by combining a PILS, a nebulizer, and an ACSM. High time resolution concentrations of WSOM, sulfate, nitrate, ammonium, and chloride, as well as mass spectra, can be obtained with satisfied quality control results. The system was firstly applied in China for field measurement of WSOM. The mass spectrum of WSOM was found to resemble that of oxygenated organic aerosol, and WSOM agreed well with secondary inorganic ions. All evidence collected in the field campaign demonstrated that WSOM could be a good surrogate of secondary organic aerosol(SOA). 5HIV-1 Vif suppresses antiviral immunity by targeting STING显示文摘HIV-1 infection-induced cGAS–STING–TBK1–IRF3 signaling activates innate immunity to produce type I interferon(IFN).The HIV-1 nonstructural protein viral infectivity factor(Vif)is essential in HIV-1 replication,as it degrades the host restriction factor APOBEC3G.However,whether and how it regulates the host immune response remains to be determined.In this study,we found that Vif inhibited the production of type I IFN to promote immune evasion.HIV-1 infection induced the activation of the host tyrosine kinase FRK,which subsequently phosphorylated the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif(ITIM)of Vif and enhanced the interaction between Vif and the cellular tyrosine phosphatase SHP-1 to inhibit type I IFN.Mechanistically,the association of Vif with SHP-1 facilitated SHP-1 recruitment to STING and inhibited the K63-linked ubiquitination of STING at Lys337 by dephosphorylating STING at Tyr162.However,the FRK inhibitor D-65495 counteracted the phosphorylation of Vif to block the immune evasion of HIV-1 and antagonize infection.These findings reveal a previously unknown mechanism through which HIV-1 evades antiviral immunity via the ITIM-containing protein to inhibit the posttranslational modification of STING.These results provide a molecular basis for the development of new therapeutic strategies to treat HIV-1 infection.Yu Wang Gui Qian Lingyan Zhu Zhuo Zhao Yinan Liu Wendong Han Xiaokai Zhang Yihua Zhang Tingrong Xiong Hao Zeng Xianghui Yu Xiaofang Yu Xiaoyan Zhang Jianqing Xu Quanming Zou Dapeng Yan 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,1:2
6KLF2 inhibits TGF-β-mediated cancer cell motility in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Feedback regulation plays a pivotal role in determining the intensity and duration of TGF-p signaling and subsequently affecting the pathophysiological roles of TGF-p,including those in liver malignancy.KLF2,a member of the Kruppel-like factor(KLF)fam ily transcription factors,has been implicated in impeding hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)development.However,the underlying molecular mechanisms are not fully understood.In the present study,we found that TGF-p stimulates the expression of KLF2 gene in several HCC cell lines.KLF2 protein is able to inhibit TGF-p/Smad signaling in HCC cells as assessed by luciferase reporter assay.Further studies indicated that KLF2 inhibits the transcriptional activity of Smad2/3 and Smad4 and ameliorates TGF-p-induced target gene expression,therefore creating a novel negative feedback loop in TGFp signaling.Functionally,stably expression of KLF2 in HCCLM3 cells attenuated TGF-卜induced cancer cell motility in wound-healing and transwell assays by interfering with TGF-p-mediated upregulation of MMP2.Together,our results revealed that KLF2 protein has a tumor-suppressive function in HCC through a negative feedback loop over TGF-p signaling.Yining Li Shuo Tu Yi Zeng Cheng Zhang Tian Deng Weicheng Luo Lingyan Lian Ling Chen Xiangyang Xiong Xiaohua Yan 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,5:2
7Dynamic phenotypic heterogeneity and the evolution of multiple RNA subtypes in hepatocellular carcinoma:the PLANET study显示文摘Intra-tumor heterogeneity(ITH) is a key challenge in cancer treatment, but previous studies have focused mainly on the genomic alterations without exploring phenotypic(transcriptomic and immune)heterogeneity. Using one of the largest prospective surgical cohorts for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)with multi-region sampling, we sequenced whole genomes and paired transcriptomes from 67 HCC patients(331 samples). We found that while genomic ITH was rather constant across stages, phenotypic ITH had a very different trajectory and quickly diversified in stage Ⅱ patients. Most strikingly, 30% of patients were found to contain more than one transcriptomic subtype within a single tumor. Such phenotypic ITH was found to be much more informative in predicting patient survival than genomic ITH and explains the poor efficacy of single-target systemic therapies in HCC. 10Industrial-scale investigations on effects of tertiary-air declination angle on combustion and steam temperature characteristics in a 350-MW supercritical down-fired boiler显示文摘Industrial-scale experiments were conducted to study the effects of tertiary air declination angle(TDA)on the coal combustion and steam temperature characteristics in the first 350-MW supercritical down-fired boiler in China with the multiple-injection and multiple-staging combustion(MIMSC)technology at medium and high loads.The experimental results indicated that as the TDA increased from 0°to 15°,the overall gas temperature in the lower furnace rose and the symmetry of temperature field was enhanced.The ignition distance of the fuel-rich coal/air flow decreased.In near-burner region,the concentration of O2 decreased while the concentrations of CO and NO increased.The concentration of NO decreased in near-tertiary-air region.The carbon in fly ash decreased significantly from 8.40%to 6.45%at a load of 260 MW.At a TDA of 15°,the ignition distances were the shortest(2.07 m and 1.73 m)at a load of 210 MW and 260 MW,respectively.The main and reheat steam temperatures were the highest(557.2℃ and 559.4℃ at a load of 210 MW,558.4℃ and 560.3℃ at a load of 260 MW).The carbon in fly ash was the lowest(4.83%)at a load of 210 MW.On changing the TDA from 15°to 25°,the flame kernel was found to move downward and the main and reheat steam temperatures dropped obviously.The change of TDA has little effect on NO_(x) emissions(660–681 mg/m^(3) at 6%O_(2)).In comprehensive consideration of the pulverized coal combustion characteristics and the unit economic performance,an optimal TDA of 15°is recommended.Xiaoguang LI Lingyan ZENG Hongye LIU Yao LI Yifu LI Yunlong ZHAO Bo JIAO Minhang SONG Shaofeng ZHANG Zhichao CHEN Zhengqi LI 2021Frontiers in Energy2021,15,1:0

12Construction of a Three-dimensional Covalent Organic Framework via the Linker Exchange Strategy显示文摘Covalent organic framework(COF)is a porous crystalline material with a well-controlled structure and a wide range of potential applications.However,the construction of new COF faces huge challenges,including the design and synthesis of structural unit monomers,the choice of reaction solvent system,and the study of reaction time and temperature.So,it’s particularly important to widen the application scope of synthetic methods and further promote the development of COFs.Here,we performed structural transformations in a three-dimensional(3D)COF(COF-300),and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),power X-ray diffraction analysis(PXRD)and nitrogen adsorption isotherms confirmed the chemical principles and the successful realization of these exchanges.At the same time,we found that the interpenetrating structure in 3D COF can be changed through the conversion of linkers.The structure simulation successfully proved the transformation of COF from five-fold to seven-fold interpenetration.In addition,in order to prove the versatility of this strategy,we used the same method to convert COF-300 into a high crystallinity 3D COF(TJNU-COF-302)that is also seven-fold interpenetrating and has not been reported.This simple strategy not only makes it easy to obtain a 3D COF connected with imines,which greatly promotes the development of COF,but also provides a new way to develop 3D COFs with complex interpenetrating structures.CUI Yumeng MIAO Zhuang LIU Qi JIN Fenchun ZHAI Yufeng ZHANG Lingyan WANG Wenli WANG Ke LIU Guiyan ZENG Yongfei 2022Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2022,38,2:0
13Antagonizing exosomal miR-18a-5p derived from prostate cancer cells ameliorates metastasis-induced osteoblastic lesions by targeting Hist1h2bc and activating Wnt/β-catenin pathway显示文摘More than 50%of prostate cancer(PCa)patients have bone metastasis with osteo-blastic lesions.MiR-18a-5p is associated with the development and metastasis of PCa,but it remains unclear whether it is involved in osteoblastic lesions.We first found that miR-18a-5p was highly expressed in the bone microenvironment of patients with PCa bone metastases.To address how miR-18a-5p affects PCa osteoblastic lesions,antagonizing miR-18a-5p in PCa cells or pre-osteoblasts inhibited osteoblast differentiation in vitro.Moreover,injection of PCa cells with miR-18a-5p inhibition improved bone biomechanical properties and bone mineral mass in vivo.Furthermore,miR-18a-5p was transferred to osteoblasts by exosomes derived from PCa cells and targeted the Hist1h2bc gene,resulting in Ctnnb1 up-regulation in the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.Translationally,antagomir-18a-5p significantly improved bone biomechanical properties and alleviated sclerotic lesions from osteoblastic me-tastases in BALB/c nude mice.These data suggest that inhibition of exosome-delivered miR-18a-5p ameliorates PCa-induced osteoblastic lesions.Fanchun Zeng Chunrong Zhao Rujie Wang Lingyan Ren Hao Qiu Zhi Zou Haibin Ding Zhongyi Sun Jianmei Li Shiwu Dong 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,4:0
14Investigation on microstructure and internal friction for low density TiB_2/ZL114 composites显示文摘TiB2/ZL114 composites with the density of 2.733 g/cm3 were fabricated through reaction of K2TiF4 and KBF4 (LSM method). The composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The internal friction measurements were performed on DTM-II-J dynamic modulus damping analyzer and the mechanisms were investigated. Experimental results indicate that reinforced particles are well-distributed in the matrix and the internal friction value of TiB2/ZL114 composites is up to a maximum of 9.04×10-3, almost twice that of ZL114. The internal friction results form dislocation vibration within the material, the sliding of grain boundary and phase interface, and together with the micro-plastic deformation caused by difference in coeffcients of thermal expansion and elasticity modulus of various phases. The average internal friction values of samples with the sizes of 40 mm×4 mm×2 mm, 40 mm×8 mm×2 mm and 40 mm×25 mm×2 mm are 8.83×10-3, 8.89×10-3, and 8.93×10-3, respectively.
