| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 3 | Peripheral CD4^(+) T cell signatures in predicting the responses to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 monotherapy for Chinese advanced non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Limited benefit population of immune checkpoint inhibitors makes it urgent to screen predictive biomarkers for stratifying the patients.Herein,we have investigated peripheral CD4^(+) T cell signatures in advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients receiving anti-PD-1/PD-L1 treatments.It was found that the percentages of IFN-γand IL-17A secreting naïve CD4^(+) T cells(Tn),and memory CD4^(+) T cells(Tm)expressing PD-1,PD-L1 and CTLA-4 were significantly higher in responder(R)than non-responder(NonR)NSCLC patients associated with a longer progression free survival(PFS).Logistic regression analysis revealed that the baseline IFN-γ-producing CD4^(+) Tn cells and PD-1^(+)CD4^(+) Tm cells were the most significant signatures with the area under curve(AUC)value reaching 0.849.This was further validated in another anti-PD-1 monotherapy cohort.Conversely,high percentage of CTLA-4^(+)CD4^(+) Tm cells was associated with a shorter PFS in patients receiving anti-PD-L1 monotherapy.Our study therefore elucidates the significance of functional CD4^(+) Tn and Tm subpopulations before the treatment in predicting the responses to anti-PD-1 treatment in Chinese NSCLC patients.The fact that there display distinct CD4^(+) T cell signatures in the prediction to anti-PD-1 and anti-PD-L1 monotherapy from our study provides preliminary evidence on the feasibility of anti-PD-1 and anti-PD-L1 combination therapy for advanced NSCLC patients. | Liliang Xia Hui Wang Mingjiao Sun Yi Yang Chengcheng Yao Sheng He Huangqi Duan Weimin Xia Ruiming Sun Yaxian Yao Zhiwei Chen Qiong Zhao Hong Li Shun Lu Ying Wang | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,10: | 7 |
| 4 | Simulation and assessment of sludge concentration and rheology in the process of waste activated sludge treatment显示文摘The process of using flat-sheet membrane for simultaneous sludge thickening and digestion (MSTD) was employed. The variations of sludge concentration and rheology were characterized and simulated. Based on mass balance analysis, mathematical models were developed and successfully used to predict and evaluate the variations of sludge concentration and the digestion effciency in the MSTD process. The apparent viscosity of sludge could be modeled as functions of mixed liquor suspended solids and shear rates. The sludge in the MSTD process showed both shear-thinning and viscoplastic behaviour, and under various shear rates different rheological models could be chosen to predict their flow behaviour. | 5 | Channel morphologic processes of a highly sinuous bend approaching neck cutoff by bank erosion in the middle Yangtze River显示文摘The distal reach of the Lower Jingjiang River(LJR)in the middle of the Yangtze River consists of five adjacent bends,among which the Qigongling Bend is a U-shaped meander with a mean sinuosity of 2.2 and the narrowest neck 525 m in width.This bend is slowly approaching neck cutoff owing to progressive bank erosion.An abnormal phenomenon has occurred in this bend since the Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR)began to operate in 2003 which is erosion in the inner bank zone and deposition in the outer bank zone.This problem has not been fully understood because of the interplay of changes in water-sediment,bank erosion,and artificial bank revetment.In this study,aerial and remote sensing images,hydrological data,channel topography,and an existing bank erosion model are used to reveal channel morphodynamics of this bend and the trend of the potential neck cutoff induced by bank erosion.The study results show that the clear water released from the TGR has provided by forcefully eroded the point bar of inner bank but failed to scour the outer bank due to the protection of bank revetment since the 1990 s.Thus far,the outer bank zone near the bend apex has increasingly widened in conjunction with the formation of 2 emerging sand bars.Consequently,the thalweg of the main channel has laterally shifted toward the inner bank by roughly 800 m.More severely,the rate of bank retreat on the upstream side of the bend neck was about 4.5 m/yr in 2010-2019,but the downstream side of this neck was experienced slight deposition.Bank erosion could be accelerated by progressively increasing erosion and eventually trigger the occurrence of neck cutoff in the next few decades,thereby significantly altering the quasi-equilibrium regime of channel morphodynamics in the LJR. | Zhiwei Li Hanyuan Yang Junqiang Xia Meirong Zhou Shanshan Deng Yingzhen Wang | 2021 | International Journal of Sediment Research2021,36,4: | 5 |

| 13 | Much enhanced electromagnetic wave absorbing properties from the synergistic effect of graphene/γ-graphyne heterostructure in both gigahertz and terahertz band ranges显示文摘Exploring advanced electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbers is one of the most feasible ways to solve the increasing electromagnetic pollution in both military and civil fields.In this work,γ-graphyne(γ-GY)is synthesized by a mechanochemical route using CaC2 and hexabromobenzene(PhBr6).Then three-dimensional(3D)reduced graphene oxide/γ-GY(RGO/GY)heterostructures are prepared through facile solvothermal self-assembly and subsequent thermal reduction.The influences of calcination temperature and the content ofγ-GY of the composite on EMW absorption performance are fully investigated.The minimum reflection loss(RL)value of the RGO/GY composite foam is−71.73 dB at 10.48 GHz with the matching thickness of 3.54 mm,and the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)less than−10 dB is 7.36 GHz.Moreover,excellent terahertz(THz)absorption property is also obtained at 0.2–1.6 THz.The RL of 84.08 dB is acquired,and the EAB covers 100%of the entire measured bandwidth.In addition,the composite is also a promising anticorrosive EMW absorber.This work provides encouraging findings,which are also instructive for the potential advantages of graphyne-based materials as highly efficient EMW absorbers in both gigahertz and terahertz band ranges. | Zhiwei Zhang Zhuo Li Lun Xia Ruofeng Wang Yishu Cao Zheng Cheng Yi Huang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 2 |

Firstly, we pioneer the operation loop recommendation problem with operation ring quality as the objective and closed-loop time as the constraint, and construct the corresponding planning model.Secondly, considering the case where there are multiple decision objectives for the combat ring recommendation problem,we propose for the first time a multi-objective optimization algorithm, the multi-objective ant colony evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition(MOACEA/D), which integrates the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition(MOEA/D) with the ant colony algorithm. The MOACEA/D can converge the optimal solutions of multiple single objectives nondominated solution set for the multi-objective problem. | 18 | Dietary supplementation with 2-hydroxy-4-methyl(thio)butanoic acid and DL-methionine improves productive performance,egg quality and redox status of commercial laying ducks显示文摘This experiment aimed to study the effects of supplemental methionine sources,2-hydroxy-4 methyl(thio)butanoic acid(HMTBa)and DL-Methionine(DL-Met),on productive performance,egg quality,and redox status of laying ducks.A total of 792 healthy 25-wk-old Longyan laying ducks with similar body weights were randomly allotted to 11 treatment groups.Each treatment group had 6 replicates of 12 ducks.The trial lasted for 16 wk.Ducks were fed a basal deficient diet(Met:0.24%;Met+Cys:0.51%)or supplemented with DL-Met or HMTBa at 0.05%,0.12%,0.19%,0.26%,and 0.33%of diet,respectively.Compared with the basal diet,supplementation with either DL-Met or HMTBa increased the average egg weight,egg mass,and decreased feed to egg ratio during the whole trial period(P<0.05).Albumen weight and its ratio to total egg weight were increased,but yolk and shell ratio,albumen height,Haugh unit and shell breaking strength were decreased(P<0.05).Dietary DL-Met or HMTBa supplementation increased taurine,methionine,leucine,tryptophan and arginine content,and decreased serine and lysine content in plasma(P<0.05).The redox status of laying ducks was improved by enhancing the glutathione peroxidase and catalase activities,glutathione content and its ratio relative to glutathione(oxidized)content and decreasing malondialdehyde content and increasing mRNA expression of superoxide dismutase-1,glutathione peroxidase-1,hemeoxygenase-1 and nuclear factor-like 2 in liver and ileum with the supplementation of DL-Met or HMTBa(P<0.05).Liver health status measured by average area proportion lipid droplet was improved with supplementation of DL-Met or HMTBa(P<0.05).Villus height and villus height to crypt depth ratio in the ileum and the ileal gene expression of tight junction protein and occludin were increased with DL-Met or HMTBa supplementation(P<0.05).Taken together,these results suggested that the efficacy of dietary supplementation of HMTBa was similar to DL-Met,and it ranged from 98%to 100%for productive performance and egg albumen ratio in laying ducks(25 to 41 wk). | Yanan Zhang Zhiwei Zhuang Tahir Mahmood Yves Mercier Yongyan Jin Xuebing Huang Kaichao Li Shuang Wang Weiguang Xia Shenglin Wang Miao Yu Wei Chen Chuntian Zheng | 2023 | Animal Nutrition2023,,3: | 1 |
