Geological Characteristics and Zircon U-Pb Dating of Volcanic Rocks from the Beizhan Iron Deposit in Western Tianshan Mountains, Xinjiang, NW China显示文摘The Beizhan large iron deposit located in the east part of the Awulale metallogenic belt in the western Tianshan Mountains is hosted in the Unit 2 of the Dahalajunshan Formation as lens, veinlets and stratoid, and both of the hanging wall and footwall are quartz-monzonite; the dip is to the north with thick and high-grade ore bodies downwards. Ore minerals are mainly magnetite with minor sulfides, such as pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite. Skarnization is widespread around the ore bodies, and garnet, diopside, wollastonite, actinolite, epidote, uralite, tourmaline sericite and calcite are ubiquitous as gangues. Radiating outwards from the center of the ore body the deposit can be classified into skarn, calcite, serpentinite and marble zones. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating of the rhyolite and dacite from the Dahalajunshan Formation indicates that they were formed at 301.3±0.8 Ma and 303.7±0.9 Ma, respectively, which might have been related to the continental arc magmatism during the late stage of subduction in the western Tianshan Mountains. Iron formation is genetically related with volcanic eruption during this interval. The Dahalajunshan Formation and the quartz-monzonite intrusion jointly control the distribution of ore bodies. Both ore textures and wall rock alteration indicate that the Beizhan iron deposit is probably skarn type. | ZHANG Zuoheng HONG Wei JIANG Zongsheng DUAN Shigang XU Lingang LI Fengming GUO Xincheng ZHAO Zhengang | 2012 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2012,86,3: | 29
The Coix Genome Provides Insights into Panicoideae Evolution and Papery Hull Domestication显示文摘Coix is a grass crop domesticated as early as the Neolithic era.It is still widely cultivated for both highly nutritional food and medicinal use. However, the genetic study and breeding of this crop are hindered by the lack of a sequenced genome. Here,we report de novo sequencing and assembly of the 1619-Mb genome of Coix, and annotation of 75.39%repeats and 39629 protein-coding genes.Comparative genomics analysis showed that Coix is more closely related to sorghum than maize, but intriguingly only Coix and maize had a recent genome duplication event, which was not detected in sorghum. We further constructed a genetic map and mapped several important traits, especially the strength of hull.Selection of papery hull(thin:easy dehulling)from the stony hull(thick:difficult dehulling)in wild progenitors was a key step in Coix domestication. The papery hull makes seed easier to process and germinate.Anatomic and global transcriptome analysis revealed that the papery hull is a result of inhibition of cell division and wall biogenesis. We also successfully demonstrated that seed hull pressure resistance is controlled by two major quantitative trait loci(QTLs),which are associated with hull thickness and color, respectively. The two QTLs were further fine mapped within intervals of 250 kb and 146 kb,respectively. These resources provide a platform for evolutionary studies and will facilitate molecular breeding of this important crop. | Chao Guo Yanan Wang Aiguo Yang Jun He Chaowen Xiao Shanhua Lv Fengming Han Yibing Yuan Yuan Yuan Xiaolong Dong Juan Guo YawenYang-Hailan Liu Ningzhi Zuo Yaxi Hu Kangxu Zhao Zhengbo Jiang Xing Wang Tingting Jiang Yaou Sherf Moju Cao Yuan Wang Zhaobo Long Tingzhao Rong Luqi Huang Shufeng Zhou | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,2: | 11
AntarcticaLC2000:The new Antarctic land cover database for the year 2000显示文摘Antarctica plays a key role in global energy balance and sea level change. It has been conventionally viewed as a whole ice body with high albedo in General Circulation Models or Regional Climate Models and the differences of land cover has usually been overlooked.Land cover in Antarctica is one of the most important drivers of changes in the Earth system.Detailed land cover information over the Antarctic region is necessary as spatial resolution improves in land process models. However, there is a lack of complete Antarctic land cover dataset derived from a consistent data source. To fill this data gap,we have produced a database named Antarctic Land Cover Database for the Year 2000(AntarcticaLC2000) using Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus(ETM+) data acquired around 2000 and Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer(MODIS) images acquired in the austral summer of 2003/2004 according to the criteria for the 1:100000-scale.Three land cover types were included in this map,separately,ice-free rocks, blue ice,and snow/firn.This classification legend was determined based on a review of the land cover systems in Antarctica(LCCSA) and an analysis of different land surface types and the potential of satellite data.Image classification was conducted through a combined usage of computer-aided and manual interpretation methods.A total of 4067 validation sample units were collected through visual interpretation in a stratified random sampling manner. An overall accuracy of 92.3%and the Kappa coefficient of 0.836 were achieved. Results show that the areas and percentages of ice-free rocks, blue ice,and snow/firn are 73268.81 km2(0.537%),225937.26 km2(1.656%),and 13345460.41 km2(97.807%),respectively.The comparisons with other different data proved a higher accuracy of our product and a more advantageous data quality. These indicate that AntarcticaLC2000,the new land cover dataset for Antarctica entirely derived from satellite data,is a reliable product for a broad spectrum of applications. | HUI FengMing KANG Jing LIU Yan CHENG Xiao GONG Peng WANG Fang LI Zhan YE YuFang GUO ZiQi | 2017 | Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,4: | 5
An improved Landsat Image Mosaic of Antarctica显示文摘A revised Landsat Image Mosaic of Antarctica (LIMA) is presented, using the 1073 multi-band scenes of the original Landsat-7 ETM+ LIMA image collection available at the United States Geological Survey (USGS: http://gffzza64998f73d704ee0h055xk9o6pqxx66nq.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/). Three improvements have been applied during the data processing: (1) DN saturation is adjusted by adopting a linear regression, which has a lower root mean square error than the ratio regression used by LIMA; (2) solar elevation angle is calculated using pixel-level latitude/longitude and the acquisition time and date of the central pixel of the scene, improving slightly upon the bilinear interpolation of the solar elevation angles of scene corners applied in LIMA; and (3) two additional image bands, Band 5 and Band 7, are sharpened using the panchromatic band (Band 8) and a Gram-Schmidt Spectral Sharpening algorithm to more easily distinguish snow, cloud and exposed rocks. The final planetary reflectance product is stored in 16-bit bands to preserve the full radiometric content of the scenes. A comparative statistical analysis among 12 sample regions indicates that the new mosaic has enhanced visual qualities, information entropy, and information content for land cover classification relative to LIMA. | HUI FengMing CHENG Xiao LIU Yan ZHANG YanMei YE YuFang WANG XianWei LI Zhan WANG Kun ZHAN ZhiFei GUO JianHong HUANG HuaBing LI XiuHong GUO ZiQi GONG Peng | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,1: | 4
Severe human infection with a novel avian-origin influenza A(H7N4) virus显示文摘Human infections with influenza H7 subtypes, such as H7N9, have raised concerns worldwide. Here, we report a human infection with a novel influenza A(H7N4) virus. A 68 years-old woman with cardiovascular and cholecystic comorbidities developed rapidly progressed pneumonia with influenza-like-illness as initial symptom, recovered after 23 days-hospitalization including 8 days in ICU. Laboratory indicators for liver and blood coagulation dysfunction were observed. Oseltamivir phosphate, glucocorticoids and antibiotics were jointly implemented, with nasal catheterization of oxygen inhalation for this patient. We obtained the medical records and collected serial respiratory and blood specimens from her. We collected throat, cloacal and/or feces samples of poultry and wild birds from the patient's backyard, neighborhood, local live poultry markets(LPMs) and the nearest lake. All close contacts of the patient were followed up and sampled with throat swabs and sera. Influenza viruses and other respiratory pathogens were tested by real-time RT-PCR, viral culturing and/or sequencing for human respiratory and bird samples. Micro-neutralizing assay was performed for sera. A novel reassortant wild bird-origin H7N4 virus is identified from the patient and her backyard poultry(chickens and ducks) by sequencing, which is distinct from previously-reported avian H7N4 and H7N9 viruses. At least four folds increase of neutralizing antibodies to H7N4 was detected in her convalescent sera. No samples from close contacts, wild birds or other poultry were tested positive for H7N4 by real-time RT-PCR. | Xiang Huo Lun-biao Cui Cong Chen Dayan Wang Xian Qi Ming-hao Zhou Xiling Guo Fengming Wang William J. | 7 | An ethnobotanical study of forage plants in Zhuxi County in the Qinba mountainous area of central China显示文摘In the Qinba mountainous area of Central China, pig farming has a significant impact on the growth of the rural economy and has substantially increased farmer incomes.Traditional knowledge plays an important role in the selection of forage plant species for pig farming by local people. This study aimed to identify the forage plants used for pig feeding and to catalog indigenous knowledge regarding their use.During 2016 and 2017,ethnobotanical surveys and inventories were conducted in Zhuxi County,Hubei Province,China.Data were collected using semi-structured interviews, key informant reports, free listings, guided field walks, and participatory observations with 77 households in 16 villages in 13 towns/townships.The obtained data were analyzed using a relative frequency citation(RFC)index.Overall,145 wild forage plants from 91 genera and 31 families were recorded. The most cited families were Asteraceae,Polygonaceae,Urticaceae,Amaranthaceae,Fabaceae,Cruciferae,Caryophyllaceae, and Lamiaceae.Whole plants(75.9%)and tender leaves(12.4%)were the most frequently used parts of the plants. Most of the forage plants were herbaceous(88.9%).Almost all forage plants could be collected throughout the year(62.7%).Raw and cooked were the two main preparation methods. The most frequently cited species were Taraxacum mongolicum,Bidens pilosa,Sonchus oleraceus,Pilea verrucosa, and Pilea pumila var.obtusifolia.A total of 14 species were identified as the top forage plants in Zhuxi County based on their RFC values(RFC value greater than 0.5).Local people possess rich traditional knowledge about the utilization and management of forage plants for pig feeding. However, the maintenance of this traditional knowledge may be seriously threatened by changes in pig feeding modes and the lack of successors.Appropriate strategies and action plans have been suggested for the conservation of traditional knowledge associated with biodiversity and the sustainable use of forage species resources. These include 1)taking targeted measures to protect forage resources and associated traditional knowledge;2)strengthening research on the forage plants with the highest RFC values for nutritional value, digestibility, other functions, and ecological status;and 3)enhancing the identification of poisonous forage plants. | Jun Yang Jifeng Luo Qiliang Gan Leiyu Ke Fengming Zhang Hairu Guo Fuwei Zhao Yuehu Wang | 2021 | Plant Diversity2021,43,3: | 3
A comprehensive analysis of the Bencao(herbal)small RNA Atlas reveals novel RNA therapeutics for treating human diseases显示文摘Cross-kingdom herbal mi RNA was first reported in 2012.Using a modified herbal extraction protocol,we obtained 73,677,287sequences by RNA-seq from 245 traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),of which 20,758,257 were unique sequences. We constructed a Bencao(herbal)small RNA(s RNA)Atlas(http://gffzz4a3adbfa122d4a47h055xk9o6pqxx66nq.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn),annotated the sequences by sequence-based clustering, and created a nomenclature system for Bencao s RNAs.The profiles of 21,757 mi RNAs in the Atlas were highly consistent with those of plant mi RNAs in mi RBase.Using software tools, our results demonstrated that all human genes might be regulated by s RNAs from the Bencao s RNA Atlas, part of the predicted human target genes were experimentally validated, suggesting that Bencao s RNAs might be one of the main bioactive components of herbal medicines. We established roadmaps for oligonucleotide drugs development and optimization of TCM prescriptions. Moreover, the decoctosome,a lipo-nano particle consisting of 0.5%–2.5%of the decoction, demonstrated potent medical effects. We propose a Bencao(herbal)Index, including small-molecule compounds(SM),protein peptides(P),nucleic acid(N),non-nucleic and non-proteinogenic large-molecule compounds(LM)and elements from Mendeleev's periodic table(E),to quantitatively measure the medical effects of botanic medicine. The Bencao s RNA Atlas is a resource for developing gene-targeting oligonucleotide drugs and optimizing botanical medicine, and may provide potential remedies for the theory and practice of one medicine. | Yinghao Cao Yexuan Lin Na Sun Xinyi Du Yixin Dong Song Mei Xingyu Deng Xiaobei Li Shaoting Guo Kegong Tang Jiaqi Liu Xiangyu Qiao Dandan Zhao Yuhao Qin Cong Zhang Tianyi Xin Xiaohu Shi Congzhao Zhou Tao Dong De-an Guo Benedikt MKessler Dong Xu Jingyuan Song Fengming Huang Xiaoyue Wang Chengyu Jiang | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,10: | 2
Anomaly detection in smart grid based on encoder-decoder framework with recurrent neural network显示文摘Anomaly detection in smart grid is critical to enhance the reliability of power systems.Excessive manpower has to be involved in analyzing the measurement data collected from intelligent motoring devices while performance of anomaly detection is still not satisfactory. This is mainly because the inherent spatio-temporality and multi-dimensionality of the measurement data cannot be easily captured. In this paper,we propose an anomaly detection model based on encoder-decoder framework with recurrent neural network(RNN).In the model,an input time series is reconstructed and an anomaly can be detected by an unexpected high reconstruction error. Both Manhattan distance and the edit distance are used to evaluate the difference between an input time series and its reconstructed one. Finally,we validate the proposed model by using power demand data from University of California,Riverside(UCR) time series classification archive and IEEE 39 bus system simulation data. Results from the analysis demonstrate that the proposed encoder-decoder framework is able to successfully capture anomalies with a precision higher than 95%. | Zheng Fengming Li Shufang Guo Zhimin Wu Bo Tian Shiming Pan Mingming | 2017 | The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications2017,24,6: | 2
An invasive zone in human liver cancer identified by Stereo-seq promotes hepatocyte–tumor cell crosstalk, local immunosuppression and tumor progression显示文摘Dissecting and understanding the cancer ecosystem, especially that around the tumor margins, which have strong implications for tumor cell infiltration and invasion, are essential for exploring the mechanisms of tumor metastasis and developing effective new treatments.Using a novel tumor border scanning and digitization model enabled by nanoscale resolution-SpaTial Enhanced REsolution Omics-sequencing(Stereo-seq),we identified a 500µm-wide zone centered around the tumor border in patients with liver cancer, referred to as“the invasive zone”.We detected strong immunosuppression, metabolic reprogramming, and severely damaged hepatocytes in this zone.We also identified a subpopulation of damaged hepatocytes with increased expression of serum amyloid A1 and A2(referred to collectively as SAAs)located close to the border on the paratumor side.Overexpression of CXCL6 in adjacent malignant cells could induce activation of the JAK-STAT3 pathway in nearby hepatocytes, which subsequently caused SAAs’overexpression in these hepatocytes.Furthermore, overexpression and secretion of SAAs by hepatocytes in the invasive zone could lead to the recruitment of macrophages and M2 polarization, further promoting local immunosuppression, potentially resulting in tumor progression.Clinical association analysis in additional five independent cohorts of patients with primary and secondary liver cancer(n=423)showed that patients with overexpression of SAAs in the invasive zone had a worse prognosis.Further in vivo experiments using mouse liver tumor models in situ confirmed that the knockdown of genes encoding SAAs in hepatocytes decreased macrophage accumulation around the tumor border and delayed tumor growth. The identification and characterization of a novel invasive zone in human cancer patients not only add an important layer of understanding regarding the mechanisms of tumor invasion and metastasis, but may also pave the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies for advanced liver cancer and other solid tumors. | Liang Wu Jiayan Yan Yinqi Bai Feiyu Chen Xuanxuan Zou Jiangshan Xu Ao Huang Liangzhen Hou Yu Zhong Zehua Jing Qichao Yu Xiaorui Zhou Zhifeng Jiang Chunqing Wang Mengnan Cheng Yuan Ji Yingyong Hou Rongkui Luo Qinqin Li Liang Wu Jianwen Cheng Pengxiang Wang Dezhen Guo Waidong Huang Junjie Lei Shang Liu Yizhen Yan Yiling Chen Sha Liao Yuxiang Li Haixiang Sun Na Yao Xiangyu Zhang Shiyu Zhang Xi Chen Yang Yu Yao Li Fengming Liu Zheng Wang Shaolai Zhou Huanming Yang Shuang Yang Xun Xu Longqi Liu Qiang Gao Zhaoyou Tang Xiangdong Wang Jian Wang Jia Fan Shiping Liu Xinrong Yang Ao Chen Jian Zhou | 2023 | Cell Research2023,33,8: | 1
Revisiting the dependence of thermocline-dwelling foraminiferal B/Ca on temperature and [CO32-], and its application in reconstruction of the subsurface carbonate system in the tropical western Pacific since 24 ka显示文摘The B/Ca ratio of planktonic foraminifer shells has been used as a proxy for reconstructing past ocean carbonate chemistry. However, recent studies have revealed significant uncertainties associated with this proxy, such as whether seawater temperature or [CO^2-3 ] is the dominant control on the partition coefficient (KD) of planktonic foraminiferal B/Ca. To address these uncertainties and thus improve our understanding of the planktonic foraminiferal B/Ca proxy, we analysed B/Ca ratios in the tests of Neogloboquadrina dutertrei (300- 355 μm) and Pulleniatina obliquiloculata (355- 400 μm) in surface sediment samples from the tropical western Pacific and South China Sea. The relationship between these B/Ca ratios and bottom water calcite saturation states (Δ[CO^2-3 ]) is weak, thus suggesting only a small dissolution effect on the B/Ca of the two species. The correlation coefficients (R2) between the B/Ca ratios of N. dutertrei and P. obliquiloculata and environmental parameters (e.g., temperature, salinity, phosphate, DIC and ALK) in the tropical western Pacific and South China Sea are not high enough to justify using B/Ca ratios as a palaeoenvironmental proxy in the study areas. The significant correlation between KD values of N. dutertrei and P. obliquiloculata and carbonate system parameters (e.g.,[CO^2-3 ], DIC, ALK, pH and [HCO^-3 ]) in the study area reflect chemical links between the KD denominator and these variables. Based on our surface sediment calibration, an empirical relationship between the KD of N. dutertrei and temperature is proposed in the tropical western Pacific. We also generated a record of B/Ca ratios in N. dutertrei (300 -355 μm) from Core MD06-3052 in the tropical western Pacific over the past 24 ka to evaluate the application of the revised B/Ca proxy method. Based on the reconstructed empirical relationship for B/Ca and subsurface seawater ALK, we estimated subsurface seawater carbonate system parameters in the tropical western Pacific since 24 ka. In general, the estimated subsurface seawater pH and [CO^2-3 ] show an increase with time, and the record of subsurface seawater pCO2 shows a decrease with time, in the tropical western Pacific over the past 24 ka. The consistent trends in subsurface seawater pCO2 and opal flux during deglaciation may imply that the reported increase in subsurface water pCO2 in the study area was promoted by enhanced upwelling in the Southern Ocean. | Jingteng Guo Tiegang Li Zhifang Xiong Xiaohua Qiu Fengming Chang | 2019 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,9: | 1

FATIGUE LIFE PREDICTION OF SUS 630(H900) STEEL UNDER HIGH CYCLE LOADING显示文摘The fatigue life prediction of high strength steel SUS 630(H900)under high cycle loading is conducted with consideration of a characteristic fatigue length of material.Based on the Whler curve of smooth materials,a modified method for fatigue life prediction is approached. The characteristic fatigue length of material under cyclic loading is associated with the polycrystalline material.Rather than the stress at a point, the average stress within the characteristic fatigue length is implemented for the fatigue life prediction. The method can be applied to both the smooth and the defected material. The fatigue life prediction is also verified experimentally by specimens with various small circular holes.Through the comparison,it is found that the method can be adopted to predict the fatigue lives with diferent size efects. | Fengming Guo Miaolin Feng Defu Nie Jinquan Xu Md.Shahnewaz Bhuiyan Yoshiharu Mutoh | 2013 | Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2013,26,6: | 1
Therapeutic Effect and Mechanism of Caulophyllum robustum Maxim Extract on Adjuvant Arthritis Rats显示文摘[Objectives]To study the anti-inflammation and anti-swelling effect of Caulophyllum robustum Maxim( CRM) extract on secondary lesions of adjuvant arthritis( AA),associated inflammatory factors of AA rats and mice immune function. [Methods]Rats were divided into high, middle and low dose CRM extract groups( 69. 23,34. 61,17. 31 mg/kg),methotrexate group( 0. 68 mg/kg),triptolide group( 7. 88 mg/kg),model group and normal control group. The AA rat model was induced by intradermal injection of Freund's complete adjuvant( FCA). After the AA model was established successfully, the paw swelling of AA rats was observed and recorded. The levels of interleukin-1β( IL-1β),interleukin-4( IL-4),interleukin-10( IL-10),Tumor Necrosis Factor-α( TNF-α),interleukin 17( IL-17),interferon( IFN-γ),granulocyte colony-stimulating factor( G-CSF) and transforming growth factor( TGF-β) in the serum of AA rats were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA). The spleen was removed and weighed for detecting the drug influence on the immune organs.Impacts were observed by gavage administration at different dosages of 25 mg/kg,50 mg/kg,100 mg/kg for seven days, adopting carbon granules clearance test,delayed-type hypersensitivity induced by dinitrofluorobenzene( DNFB) coupled with flow cytometry evaluating lymphocytes( CD3^+,CD4^+,CD8^+) activation and serolysin test. [Results] Compared with the model group, the joint swelling, spleen index and inflammatory cytokines( IL-1β,IL-4,IL-10,TNF-α,IL-17,IFN-γ,G-CSF,TGF-β) were reduced significantly( P < 0. 05,P < 0. 01). And the activity of CRM was significantly superior to methotrexate and triptergium. Moreover, the results indicated that different dosages of 25 mg/kg,50 mg/kg,100 mg/kg of CRM could significantly reduce the carbon granules clearance index( K) and phagocytic index( a),inhibit the phagocytosis of mononuclear macrophages, reduce the mice swelling extent and inhibit DTH in mice induced by DNFB,decrease the quantity of serum hemolysin. Percentage of CD3^+,CD4^+,and the ratio of CD4^+,CD8^+ notably decreased, whereas CD8^+ obviously increased. Intragastrica dose of 50 mg/kg,100 mg/kg were acknowledged as more objective inhibiting effect compared with a dosage of 25 mg/kg.[Conclusions] Decreasing inflammatory cytokines content,non-specific immune, humoral immune and cellular immune function may be the therapeutic mechanism for rheumatoid arthritis( RA). | Shaowa LU Hong SU Fengming YU Qiushi WANG Yuyan GUO Guoyu LI Haixue KUANG | 2018 | Medicinal Plant2018,9,1: | 1

Mevalonate improves anti-PD-1/PD-L1 efficacy by stabilizing CD274 mRNA显示文摘Mevalonate metabolism plays an important role in regulating tumor growth and progression;however, its role in immune evasion and immune checkpoint modulation remains unclear. Here,we found that non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients with higher plasma mevalonate response better to antiPD-(L)1 therapy,as indicated by prolonged progression-free survival and overall survival.Plasma mevalonate levels were positively correlated with programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1)expression in tumor tissues. In NSCLC cell lines and patient-derived cells, supplementation of mevalonate significantly upregulated the expression of PD-L1,whereas deprivation of mevalonate reduced PD-L1 expression.Mevalonate increased CD274 mRNA level but did not affect CD274 transcription.Further,we confirmed that mevalonate improved CD274 mRNA stability.Mevalonate promoted the affinity of the AU-rich elementbinding protein HuR to the 3'-UTR regions of CD274 mRNA and thereby stabilized CD274 mRNA.By in vivo study,we further confirmed that mevalonate addition enhanced the anti-tumor effect of anti-PD-L1,increased the infiltration of CD8^(+)T cells, and improved cytotoxic function of T cells.Collectively, our findings discovered plasma mevalonate levels positively correlated with the therapeutic efficacy of anti-PD-(L)1 antibody, and provided the evidence that mevalonate supplementation could be an immunosensitizer in NSCLC. | Wenxin Zhang Xiaohui Pan Yanjun Xu Hongjie Guo Mingming Zheng Xi Chen Honghai Wu Fengming Luan Qiaojun He Ling Ding Bo Yang | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6: | 0
Weipixiao ameliorates gastric precancerous lesions in a rat's model by regulating GSK3β and C-myc显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the mechanism underlying the action of Weipixiao(WPX) in a rat's model with ameliorating gastric precancerous lesions(GPL).METHODS: HPLC analysis was performed to identify the chemical constituents of WPX preparation.Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned into control group, model group, vitacoenzyme group,high-dose WPX group(H-WPX), medium-dose WPX group(M-WPX) and low-dose WPX group(L-WPX).After modeling, the treated rats were administrated WPX or vitacoenzyme intragastrically for consecutive 10 weeks. Gene and protein expressions ofGSK3β, C-myc, Cylin E were evaluated by quantitative real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR) and immunohistochemistry, respectively.RESULTS: WPX could efficiently attenuate the pathological alterations of 'non-progressive GPL' in rats.As expected, mRNA and protein levels of C-myc and Cylin E were up-regulated in model rats, while GSK3β expression down-regulated(P < 0.01). WPX treatment, especially at low dose, could significantly down-regulate the m RNA as well as protein levels of C-myc, and could lead to remarkable up-regulation of mRNA and protein levels of GSK3β in GPL rats(P < 0.05). However, no significant changes were observed in WPX-treated rats.CONCLUSION: Our findings suggested that WPX-mediated attenuation of GPL pathological alterations might be due to its regulatory effect on the expressions of GSK3β and C-myc, and on the dysregulation of Wnt/GSK3β pathway. | Zeng Jinhao Pan Huafeng Guo Jing Gong Daoyin Cai Tiantian Chen Xiaodong Zhang Yi You Fengming Chen Longhui Zhao Ziming Liang Chao | 2018 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,5: | 0
Reconfigurable logic and in-sensor encryption operations in an asymmetrically tunable van der Waals heterostructure显示文摘Reconfigurable devices can be used to achieve multiple logic operation and intelligent optical sensing with low power consumption, which is promising candidates for new generation electronic and optoelectronic integrated circuits. However, the versatility is still limited and need to be extended by the device architectures design. Here,we report an asymmetrically gate two-dimensional(2D)van der Waals heterostructure with hybrid dielectric layer SiO_(2)/hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN),which enable rich function including reconfigurable logic operation and in-sensor information encryption enabled by both volatile and non-volatile optoelectrical modulation. When the partial gate is grounded, the non-volatile light assisted electrostatic doping endowed partially reconfigurable doping between n-type and p-type,which allow the switching of logic XOR and not implication(NIMP).When the global gate is grounded, additionally taking the optical signal as another input signal, logic AND and OR is realized by combined regulation of the light and localized gate voltage.Depending on the high on/off current ratio approaching 105 and reliable&switchable logic gate,in-sensor information encryption and decryption is demonstrated by manipulating the logic output.Hence, these results provide strong extension for current reconfigurable electronic and optoelectronic devices. | Fan Gong Wenjie Deng Yi Wu Fengming Liu Yihao Guo Zelin Che Jingjie Li Jingzhen Li Yang Chai Yongzhe Zhang | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,4: | 0
Liposome cocktail activator modulates hepatocytes and remodels the microenvironment to mitigate acute liver failure显示文摘Acute liver failure(ALF)is a mortal and critical hepatic disease,in which oxidative stress, inflammation storm and hepatocyte death are crucial in the pathogenesis.Hence,in contrast to the control of a single link,a combination therapy targeting multiple pathogenic links of the disease will be a favorable means to control the progression of the disease. In this study,we constructed dimethyl itaconate-loaded liposomes modified with dodecyl gallate as a cocktail activator to investigate its functional role in acetaminophen(APAP)-induced ALF.Our results demonstrated that the cocktail activator acted on hepatocytes and triggered cocktail efficacy, thereby simultaneously attenuating APAP-induced hepatocyte damage and remodeling the damage microenvironment. The cocktail activator could effectively scavenge reactive oxygen species, inhibit excessive inflammatory responses and reduce cell death in impaired hepatocytes for detoxification.More importantly, the cocktail activator could remodel the damage microenvironment, thus further promoting hepatocyte expansion and specifically switching macrophages from the M1 to M2 phenotype for a favorable liver regeneration of ALF.Furthermore,in APAP-induced ALF mouse model, the cocktail activator improved liver function, alleviated histopathological damage and increased survival rate.In summary, these findings indicate that the cocktail activator may provide a promising therapeutic approach for ALF treatment as a nanomedicine. | Na Yin Wenjun Zhang Runxiu Wei Qiang Yang Fengming He Ling Guo Min Feng | 2022 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2022,17,6: | 0
