Research on solar aided coal-fired power generation system and performance analysis显示文摘Integrating solar power utilization systems with coal-fired power units, the solar aided coal-fired power generation (SACPG) shows a significant prospect for the large-scale utilization of solar energy and energy saving of thermal power units. The methods and mechanism of system integration were studied. The parabolic trough solar collectors were used to collect solar energy and the integration scheme of SACPG system was determined considering the matching of working fluid flows and energy flows. The thermodynamic characteristics of solar thermal power generation and their effects on the performance of thermal power units were studied, and based on this the integration and optimization model of system structure and parameters were built up. The integration rules and coupling mecha- nism of SACPG systems were summarized in accordance with simulation results. The economic analysis of this SACPG system showed that the solar LEC of a typical SACPG system, considering CO2 avoidance, is 0.098 $/kW·h, lower than that of SEGS, 0.14 $/kW·h. | YANG YongPing CUI YingHong HOU HongJuan GUO XiYan YANG ZhiPing WANG NinLing | 2008 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,8: | 30
Evaluation of solar aided biomass power generation systems with parabolic trough field显示文摘Solar and biomass are both renewable energy resources.Using biomass as fuel is becoming more and more attractive after governments increase the tariff for the electricity from the renewable sources. However the costs of power from a biomass power generation plant depend greatly on the availability and quality of the biomass resource. The commercialization of solar alone thermal power generation is hindered by its high initial investment and low thermal efficiency. In this paper,a concept of integrating solar into a biomass power generation system is put forward. In the system the oil heated by a parabolic trough solar field is used to replace the extraction steam to preheat the feed water(entering a biomass boiler) and the previous extraction steam thus saved can continue to do work in the lower stages of turbine. The performance of the hybrid system with different replacements is analyzed and compared through two typical solar aided biomass generating units. The results show that the integration not only reduces the consumption of biomass fuel(at the same generation capacity) but is also proved to be an efficient way to convert solar thermal energy into power. The results also show that with the same solar aperture area, the higher the grade of the replaced extraction steam, the better the thermal performance and economy. | HOU HongJuan YANG YongPing HU Eric SONG JiFeng DONG ChangQing MAO Jian | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,6: | 15
Liquefaction macrophenomena in the great Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘On May 12,2008 at 14:28,a catastrophic magnitude Ms 8.0 earthquake struck the Sichuan Province of China. The epicenter was located at Wenchuan(31.00oN,103.40oE).Liquefaction macrophenomena and corresponding destruction was observed throughout a vast area of 500 km long and 200 km wide following the earthquake. This paper illustrates the geographic distribution of the liquefaction and the relationship between liquefaction behavior and seismic intensity, and summarizes the liquefaction macrophenomena, including sandboils and waterspouts, ground subsidence, ground fi ssures etc.,and relevant liquefaction features.A brief summary of the structural damage caused by liquefaction is presented and discussed.Based on comparisons with liquefaction phenomena observed in the 1976 Tangshan and 1975 Haicheng earthquakes, preliminary analyses were performed, which revealed some new features of liquefaction behavior and associated issues arising from this event. The site investigation indicated that the spatial non-uniformity of liquefaction distribution was obvious and most of the liquefi ed sites were located in regions of seismic intensity VIII.However, liquefaction phenomena at ten different sites in regions of seismic intensity VI were also observed for the fi rst time in China mainland.Sandboils and waterspouts ranged from centimeters to tens of meters, with most between 1 m to 3 m.Dramatically high water/sand ejections,e.g.,more than 10 m,were observed at four different sites. The sand ejections included silty sand,fi ne sand, medium sand, course sand and gravel, but the ejected sand amount was less than that in the 1976 Tangshan earthquake.Possible liquefaction of natural gravel soils was observed for the fi rst time in China mainland. | Chen Longwei Yuan Xiaoming Cao Zhenzhong Hou Longqing Sun Rui Dong Lin Wang Weiming Meng Fanchao Chen Hongjuan | 2009 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2009,8,2: | 14
Comprehensive test stand for high-intensity cyclotron development显示文摘A comprehensive test stand for high-intensity cyclotron development,a 10 MeV 430 μA cyclotron, has been successfully constructed at China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) for the experimental verification of the viability of a 100 MeV high-intensity cyclotron (CYCIAE-100) being constructed at CIAE.The verification includes the overall design technology, detail design and engineering technology for the crucial parts of the machine,e.g.main magnet and beam diagnostics. It will also pave the way for future enhancement of the beam intensity. The test stand consists of a H-ion source, axial injection system, central region, main magnet and coil,RF resonator, stripping extraction, and auxiliary systems, which include the RF power amplifier, high voltage and DC power supplies, electric apparatus, beam diagnostics, control, vacuum, water cooling, pneumatic system, and safety interlock. This paper presents the work regarding the design and sub-system development of the test sand, and the results of the beam commissioning of the machine. | ZHANG TianJue LI ZhenGuo CHU ChengJie XING JianSheng GUAN FengPing ZHONG JunQing JI Bin GE Tao YIN ZhiGuo HOU ShiGang PAN GaoFeng YAO HongJuan LU YinLong WANG ZhenHui WU LongCheng LIN Jun JIA XianLu WEI SuMin WEN LiPeng WANG Feng XIA Le CAI HongRu XIE HuaiDong CHEN RongFan ZHANG Yan ZHANG SuPing LIU GengShou ZOU Jian AN ShiZhong YANG JianJun BI YuanJie YANG Fang | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,3: | 3
Performance analysis of a solar-aided power generation(SAPG) plant using specific consumption theory显示文摘In contrast to a traditional coal-fired power generation plant where steam extracted from a turbine is used to preheat the feedwater in all preheating stages, a solar-aided power generation(SAPG) plant uses solar heat to replace a part or all of the extracted steam in one or more preheating stages. The performance of an SAPG plant with different replacements is investigated in this study by using specific consumption theory(SCT). Fuel-specific and cost-specific consumption models for SAPG plants are built based on the SCT. A typical 330 MW coal-fired power plant is used as the study case. The performance of the SAPG plant in terms of specific consumption, with steam obtained from the first through the eighth(except for the fourth) stages of extraction replaced by solar heat, is compared with that of the reference coal-fired power plant. The fuel-specific consumption of the SAPG plant is determined to be lower than that of the reference coal-fired power plant. The fuel-specific consumption accrual distribution in SAPG plants is used to assess the effect of each individual replacement. Effective strategies to reduce the specific costs of the SAPG and coal-fired power plants are proposed based on the results of this study. | HOU HongJuan WANG MengJiao YANG YongPing CHEN Si HU Eric | 2016 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2016,59,2: | 2
The influence of nitrified supernate’s recycle ratio on the removal of coking wastewater显示文摘The influence of the recycle ratio on the removal of coking wastewater has been researched using the anaerobic-anoxic-aerobic (A/A/O) biofilm process. The research indicates that the concentrations of chemical oxygen demand (COD) and NO3-N in the water are the lowest when the recycle ratio is 3∶1,but the removal efficiency of total cyanide (TCN) is the highest when the recycle ratio is 1∶1.The removal efficiency of NH+4-N is more than 99% at all three different recycle ratios.Compared with Grade A of the National Discharge Standard (GB 8978—1996),the effluent NH+4-N is standard, but COD and TCN can not meet the requirements and further treatment processes are needed. | HOU Hongjuan DONG Xiaodan SHAO Lixian | 2009 | Baosteel Technical Research2009,3,1: | 1

Design of the reactive dyes containing large planar multi-conjugated systems and their application in non-aqueous dyeing显示文摘The development of pollution-free dyeing technology, including anhydrous dyeing and non-aqueous dyeing technologies, has always been an important way and research hot in energy conservation and emission reduction. Designing new structural dye molecules is the key to water-saving dyeing processes.Herein, three reactive dyes were designed and synthesized, which contained large planar multiconjugated systems and multi-reactive groups. The designed reactive dyes are expected to have high affinity and high fixations in non-aqueous or small bath dyeing processes. The reactive dyes were applied in the decamethylcyclopentasiloxane(DMCS) reverse micelle dyeing for cotton fabric. High exhaustion rate of 99.35%, 98.10% and 98.80%, and fixation rate of 95.15%, 96.34% and 94.40% for three dyes, R1,R2 and R3, could be respectively obtained. The dyes can be fully utilized and had excellent dyeing performance, fastness and levelling properties under the revere micelle dyeing. The cotton fabric is like an oil-water separator in the dyeing process, where the dye micelles rapidly absorb and permeate into the cotton fibers. DMCS circulates around the fabric to transfer mass and energy. After dyeing, the solvent can be separated quickly and reused. The new reactive dyes containing large planar and multi-conjugated systems have potential application in green and sustainable dyeing technology with less wastewater and higher utilization. | Aiqin Gao Xiang Luo Huanghuang Chen Aiqin Hou Hongjuan Zhang Kongliang Xie | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,54,2: | 0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 11 | Synthesis of Fe_3O_4@SiO_2-Au/Cu magnetic nanoparticles and its efficient catalytic performance for the Ullmann coupling reaction of bromamine acid显示文摘Novel magnetic core/shell bimetallic Au/Cu nanoparticles(Fe_3O_4@SiO_2-Au/Cu NPs) were prepared using SiO_2-coated iron oxide(Fe_3O_4@SiO_2) as a supported material. The magnetic Fe_3O_4 colloidal nanocrystal clusters(CNCs) as nano-core were modified with a silica coating for improvement stability and superficial area of the Au-Cu particles. The morphological structure and chemical composition of the Fe_3O_4@SiO_2-Au/Cu NPs were characterized with high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM), energy-dispersive X-ray(EDX) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analyses. The Au and Cu NPs were deposited on the SiO_2 surface in a highly dense and well dispersed manner with an average size of approximately 5 nm. The Fe_3O_4@SiO_2-Au/Cu NPs as magnetic nano-catalysts were applied to the Ullmann coupling reaction of bromamine acid to synthesize 4,40-diamino-1,10-dianthraquinonyl-3,30-disulfonic acid(DAS). The prepared Fe_3O_4@SiO_2-Au/Cu NPs exhibited efficient catalytic activity with higher conversion and selectivity. A bromamine acid conversion of 97.35% and selectivity for DAS of 88.67% were obtained in aqueous medium. The magnetic nano-catalysts can be readily separated from the reaction system and reused. This new nano-catalytic reaction represents a useful and attractive cleaner production system. The new catalyst system has important and potential applications in dye and pigment industry. | Aiqin Gao Hui Liu Liu Hu Hongjuan Zhang Aiqin Hou Kongliang Xie | 2018 | Chinese Chemical Letters2018,29,8: | 0
Effects of Bending-torsional Duct-induced Swirl Distortion on Aerodynamic Performance of a Centrifugal Compressor显示文摘A turbocharger compressor working in commercial vehicles, especially in some passenger cars, often works together with some pipes with complicated geometry as an air intake system, due to limit of available space in internal combustion engine compartments. These pipes may generate various distortions of physical parameters of the air at the inlet of the compressor and therefore the compressor aerodynamic performance deteriorates. Sometimes, the turbocharging engine fails to work at some operation points. This paper investigates the effects of various swirl distortions induced by different bending-torsional intake ducts on the aerodynamic performance of a turbocharger compressor by both 3D numerical simulations and experimental measurements. It was found that at the outlet of the pipes the different inlet ducts can generate different swirl distortions, twin vortices and bulk-like vortices with different rotating directions. Among them, the bulk-like vortices not only affect seriously the pressure distribution in the impeller domain, but also significantly deteriorate the compressor performance, especially at high flow rate region. And the rotating direction of the bulk-like vortices is also closely associated with the efficiency penalty. Besides the efficiency, the transient flow rate through a single impeller channel, or the asymmetric mass flow crossing the whole impeller, can be influenced by two disturbances. One is from the upstream bending-torsional ducts; other one is from the downstream volute. | HOU Hongjuan WANG Leilei WANG Rui YANG Yanzhao | 2017 | Journal of Thermal Science2017,26,2: | 0
Treatment of the wastewater from the sintering flue gas desulfurization process显示文摘The limestone-gypsum flue gas desulfurization(FGD)process has become the most widespread process in the world for sulfur removal. The swirl-et-absorbing wet limestone-gypsum sintering FGD technology was developed for sintering flue gas desulfurization, and this process produces volumes of wastewater with various contaminants that requires treatment before disposal or reuse. In this study, the wastewater quality from three different sintering FGD systems at Baosteel Group was investigated and compared with wastewater from power plant FGD.A treatment process was proposed which is suitable for sintering FGD wastewater. After treatment with a neutralization, coagulation and sedimentation process, heavy metals in the sintering FGD wastewater were reduced to a level meeting the relevant emission standards, but the pH and ammonia concentration were too high, and a further treatment process was needed.Due to certain similarities and complementarities between sintering FGD wastewater and coking wastewater,it is entirely feasible to mix the pretreated sintering FGD wastewater into a biological coking wastewater treatment system. This study indicates that it is entirely feasible to mix pretreated sintering FGD wastewater into the biological treatment systems used for coking wastewater from the iron and steel industries. | HOU Hongjuan LI Enchao YIN Tingting | 2013 | Baosteel Technical Research2013,7,4: | 0
