2Numerical Prediction and Performance Experiment in a Deep-well Centrifugal Pump with Different Impeller Outlet Width显示文摘The existing research of the deep-well centrifugal pump mainly focuses on reduce the manufacturing cost and improve the pump performance,and how to combine above two aspects together is the most difficult and important topic.In this study,the performances of the deep-well centrifugal pump with four different impeller outlet widths are studied by the numerical,theoretical and experimental methods in this paper.Two stages deep-well centrifugal pump equipped with different impellers are simulated employing the commercial CFD software to solve the Navier-Stokes equations for three-dimensional incompressible steady flow.The sensitivity analyses of the grid size and turbulence model have been performed to improve numerical accuracy.The flow field distributions are acquired and compared under the design operating conditions,including the static pressure,turbulence kinetic energy and velocity.The prototype is manufactured and tested to certify the numerical predicted performance.The numerical results of pump performance are higher than the test results,but their change trends have an acceptable agreement with each other.The performance results indicted that the oversize impeller outlet width leads to poor pump performances and increasing shaft power.Changing the performance of deep-well centrifugal pump by alter impeller outlet width is practicable and convenient,which is worth popularizing in the engineering application.The proposed research enhances the theoretical basis of pump design to improve the performance and reduce the manufacturing cost of deep-well centrifugal pump.SHI Weidong ZHOU Ling LU Weigang PEI Bing LANG Tao 2013Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2013,26,1:20

7Is tailored therapy based on antibiotic susceptibility effective?A multicenter,open-label,randomized trial显示文摘An effective eradication therapy of Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)should be used for the first time.In this study,we assessed whether tailored therapy based on antibiotic susceptibility testing is more effective than traditional therapy.We also evaluated the factors that cause treatment failure in high-resistance areas.For this multicenter trial,we recruited 467 H.pylori-positive patients.The patients were randomly assigned to receive tailored triple therapy(TATT),tailored bismuth-containing quadruple therapy(TABQT),or traditional bismuthcontaining quadruple therapy(TRBQT).For the TATT and TABQT groups,antibiotic selection proceeded via susceptibility testing using an agar-dilution test.The patients in the TRBQT group were given amoxicillin,clarithromycin,esomeprazole,and bismuth.Successful eradication was defined as a negative 13C-urea breath test at least eight weeks after the treatment ended.Susceptibility testing was conducted using an agar-dilution test.The eradication rate was examined via intention-to-treat(ITT)and per-protocol(PP)analyses.The clarithromycin,levofloxacin,and metronidazole resistance rates were 26.12%,28.69%,and 96.79%,respectively.Resistance against amoxicillin and furazolidone was rare.The eradication rates for TATT,TRBQT,and TABQT were 67.32%,63.69%,and 85.99%in the ITT analysis(P<0.001)and 74.64%,68.49%,and 91.22%in the PP analysis(P<0.001),respectively.The efficacy of TABQTwas affected by clarithromycin resistance,and bismuth exerted a direct influence on TATT failure.TABQT was the most efficacious regimen for use in high-resistance regions,especially among clarithromycin-susceptible patients.Jie Pan Zhengchao Shi Dingsai Lin Ningmin Yang Fei Meng Lang Lin Zhencheng Jin Qingjie Zhou Jiansheng Wu Jianzhong Zhang Youming Li 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,1:10
8Icariside Ⅱ inhibits lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammation and amyloid production in rat astrocytes by regulating IKK/IκB/NF-κB/BACE1 signaling pathway显示文摘β-amyloid(Aβ)is one of the inducing factors of astrocytes activation and neuroinflammation,and it is also a crucial factor for the development of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Icariside II(ICS II)is an active component isolated from a traditional Chinese herb Epimedium,which has shown to attnuate lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced neuroinflammation through regulation of NF-κB signaling pathway.In this study we investigated the effects of ICS II on LPS-induced astrocytes activation and Aβaccumulation.Primary rat astrocytes were pretreated with ICS II(5,10,and 20μM)or dexamethasone(DXMS,1μM)for 1 h,thereafter,treated with LPS for another 24 h.We found that ICS II pretreatment dose dependently mitigated the levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β),inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS),cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)in the astrocytes.Moreover,ICS II not only exerted the inhibitory effect on LPS-induced IκB-αdegradation and NF-κB activation,but also decreased the levels of Aβ1–40,Aβ1–42,amyloid precursor protein(APP)and beta secretase 1(BACE1)in the astrocytes.Interestingly,molecular docking revealed that ICS II might directly bind to BACE1.It is concluded that ICS II has potential value as a new therapeutic agent to treat neuroinflammation-related diseases,such as AD.Yong Zheng Yan Deng Jian-mei Gao Chun Lv Ling-hu Lang Jing-shan Shi Chang-yin Yu Qi-hai Gong 2020Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2020,41,2:8
9Effects of Jian Pi Qu Shi Formula on intestinal bacterial flora in patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy:A prospective randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:The incidence of idiopathic nlembranous nephropathy(IMN)has recently increased remarkably.Immune dysfunction caused by disordered intestinal flora might be an important factor affecting IMN.The Jian Pi Qu Shi Formula(JPQSF)shows promise in treating IMN.Here,we sequenced 16S rRNA genes to compare intestinal flora between patients with IMN and healthy persons.We also conducted a randomized controlled clinical trial to further compare the intestinal flora of patients with IMN treated with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)and western medicine(WM).Methods:Among 40 patie nls with IMN treated at Department of Nephrology in Xiyuan Hospital,Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine between July 2016 and December 2018,we compared 30 of them with 10 healthy persons(controls).The IMN group was randomly assigned to receive JPQSF(TCM)or immunosuppressant WM therapy in(n=15 per group)for 6 months.Intestinal microbiota diversity was analyzed using alpha diversity and beta diversity.Intestinal flora that significantly differed between the groups was analyzed using MetaStat.The effects and safety of the therapies were determined based on the values for plasma albumin,24-h urine protein excretion,serum creatinine,urea nitrogen,estimate glomerular filtration rate(eGFR),complete blood count,and liver enzymes.All data were statistically analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS)20.0 statistical software.Results:Baseline characteristics did not significanlly differ between the IMN and healthy groups,or the TCM and WM groups.After six months of treatment,24-h urinary protein significantly declined in the TCM and WM groups(before and after treatment:3.24±1.74 vs.1.73±1.85 g,P<0.05 and 3.94±1.05 vs.1.91±1.18 g,P<0.05,respectively).Plasma albumin was significantly increased in the TCM group(before vs.after treatment:32.44±9.04 vs.39.99±7.03 g/L,P<0.05),but did not significantly change in the WM group(31.55±4.23 vs.34.83±9」4 g/L,P>0.05).Values for urea nitrogen,serum creatinine,and eGFR did not significanlly change in either group.The alpha diversity index for intestinal flora differed between the IMN and healthy groups,and the TCM and WM groups.Comparisons of multiple samples(beta diversity)revealed differences in intestinal flora between the IMN and healthy groups,and the TCM and WM groups.The Metastat analysis findings showed that the main genera that differed between the IMN group before treatment and the healthy group were Christensenellaceae_R-7_group,Bifidobacterium(77),Dorea,Escherichia-Shigella,Parabacteroides,Bifidobacterium,and Coprococcus_3.AfterTCM therapy,the main differential genera were Butyricimonas,Bacteroides,Alistipes,and Lachnospira,and after WM therapy,these were Ruminococcus_2,Lachnospiraceae_ND3007_group,Lachnospira,Bifidobacterium,Alistipes,and[Eubacterium]_ventriosum_group.Conclusion:Patients with IMN might have disordered intestinal flora,and JPQSF can regulate intestinal flora in patienls with IMN.Rui Lang Xin-Hui Wang Ai-Feng Li Ying Liang Bao-Chen Zhu Bin Shi Yong-Qiu Zheng Ren-Huan Yu 2020Chronic Diseases and Translational Medicine2020,6,2:8

15Chemical vapor deposition of monolayer WS2 nano- sheets on Au foils toward direct application in hydrogen evolution显示文摘Monolayer tungsten disulfide (WS2), a typical member of the semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenide family has drawn considerable interest because of its unique properties. Intriguingly the edge of WS2 exhibits an ideal hydrogen binding energy which makes WS2 a potential alternative to Pt-based electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Here, we demonstrate for the first time the successful synthesis of uniform monolayer WS2 nanosheets on centimeter- scale Au foils using a facile, low-pressure chemical vapor deposition method. The edge lengths of the universally observed triangular WS2 nanosheets are tunable from -100 to N1,000 nm. The WS2 nanosheets on Au foils featuring abundant edges were then discovered to be efficient catalysts for the HER, exhibiting a rather high exchange current density of -30.20 μA/cm2 and a small onset potential of Nl10 mV. The effects of coverage and domain size (which correlate closely with the active edge density of WS2) on the electrocatalytic activity were investigated. 17Metabonomics delineates allergic reactions induced by Shuang-huang-lian injection in rats using ultra performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry显示文摘Shuang-huang-lian Injection(SHLI) is the first successfully developed drug from traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) powder for injection,since its use for the treatment of acute respiratory tract infection,pneumonia,influenza,etc.At the same time,its allergic reactions have also emerged,which limits clinical applications.However,few scholars pay attention to the mechanism of allergic reactions.In this present study,metabonomics technology was used to explore the changes in endogenous metabolites in urine of the rat model of SHLI induced allergic reaction;we and analyzed the metabolites,metabolic pathway,and the mechanism which were closely related to the allergic reactions.The levels of serum histamine and tryptase were examined and changes in histomorphology were also observed.Based on the UPLC-Q-TOF/MS metabonomics,we carried out the pattern recognition analysis,selected potential biomarkers associated with allergic reactions,and explored the pathological mechanism for SHLI induced allergic reaction,which laid the foundation for the safety research of SHLI.Our results showed that SHLI increased the levels of serum histamine and tryptase in rats with allergic reaction;we determined 15 biomarkers in rat allergic reaction model induced by SHLI and found multiple metabolic pathways involved,such as metabolism of linolenic acid,phenylalanine,amino acid,2-oxo acid,and purine and other metabolic pathways.GU Yuan-Yuan SHI Lang ZHANG Dan-Dan HUANG Xin CHEN Da-Zhong 2018Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2018,16,8:5

19Improving the performance of all-solid-state supercapacitors by modifying ionic liquid gel electrolytes with graphene nanosheets prepared by arc-discharge显示文摘Ionic liquid gel polymers have widely been used as the electrolytes in all-solid-state supercapacitors,but they suffer from low ionic conductivity and poor electrochemical performance.Arc discharge is a fast,low-cost and scalable method to prepare multi-layered graphene nanosheets,and as-made graphene nanosheets(denoted as ad-GNSs) with few defects,high electrical conductivity and high thermal stability should be favorable conductive additive materials.Here,a novel ionic liquid gel polymer electrolyte based on an ionic liquid(EMIMNTF_2) and an copolymer(P(VDF-HFP)) was modified by the addition of ad-GNSs as an ionic conducting promoter.This modified gel electrolyte shows excellent thermal stability up to 400℃ and a wide electrochemical window of 3 V.An all-solid-state supercapacitor based on commercial activated carbon was fabricated using this modified ionic liquid gel polymer electrolyte,which shows obviously improved electrochemical behaviors compared with those of the corresponding all-solid-state supercapacitor using pure ionic liquid gel polymer electrolyte.Specially,smaller internal resistance,higher specific capacitance,better rate performance and cycling stability are achieved.These results indicate that the ionic liquid gel polymers modified by ad-GNSs would be promising and suitable gel electrolytes for high performance all-solid-state electrochemical devices.Min-Jie Shi Sheng-Zhong Kou Bao-Shou Shen Jun-Wei Lang Zhi Yang Xing-Bin Yan 2014Chinese Chemical Letters2014,25,6:4
