| 1 | Pose Planning for the End-effector of Robot in the Welding of Intersecting Pipes显示文摘All-position robots are widely applied in the welding of complicated parts.Welding of intersecting pipes is one of the most typical tasks.The welding seam is a complicated saddle-like space curve,which puts a great challenge to the pose planning of end-effector.The special robots designed specifically for this kind of tasks are rare in China and lack sufficient theoretical research.In this paper,a systematic research on the pose planning for the end-effectors of robot in the welding of intersecting pipes is conducted. First,the intersecting curve of pipes is mathematically analyzed.The mathematical model of the most general intersecting curve of pipes is derived,and several special forms of this model in degraded situations are also discussed.A new pose planning approach of bisecting angle in main normal plane(BAMNP) for the welding-gun is proposed by using differential geometry and the comparison with the traditional bisecting angle in axial rotation plane(BAARP) method is also analytically conducted.The optimal pose of the welding-gun is to make the orientation posed at the center of the small space formed by the two cylinders and the intersecting curve to help the welding-pool run smoothly.The BAMNP method can make sure the pose vertical to the curve and center between the two cylinders at the same time,therefore its performance in welding-technique is superior to the BAARP method.By using the traditional BAARP method,the robot structure can become simpler and easier to be controlled,because one degree of freedom(DOF) of the robot can be reduced.For the special case of perpendicular intersecting,an index is constructed to evaluate the quality of welding technique in the process of welding.The effect of different combination of pipe size on this index is also discussed.On the basis of practical consideration,selection principle for BAARP and BAMNP is described.The simulations of those two methods for a serial joint-type robot are made in MATLAB,and the simulation results are consistent to the analysis.The mathematical model and the proposed new pose-planning method will lay a solid foundation for future researches on the control and design of all-position welding robots. | LIU Yu ZHAO Jing LU Zhenyang CHEN Shujun | 2011 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,2: | 7 |
| 2 | Topographic species-habitat associations of tree species in a heterogeneous tropical karst seasonal rain forest, China显示文摘Aims Tropical and subtropical karst forests of south China are under increas-ing pressure from over-exploitation causing widespread habitat degra-dation and biodiversity loss.Previous research has demonstrated that topography,as a proxy for resource availability,plays an important role in shaping tree species distributions in tropical forests.However,the association between growth stages and habitats types has not been considered in this analysis.Our aim was to examine the differences among different habitat types to determine whether tree species show similar species-habitat associations at young and mature life stages.Methods We used multivariate regression tree analysis to examined species-habitat associations among eight topographically defined habitats.The results were tested with a torus-translation test and canonical correspondence analysis(CCA)for 74 species in a 15 ha karst tropi-cal seasonal rain forest at the Nonggang National Natural Reserve in south China.We considered two life stages(young and mature)of trees species that showed a positive association with topography.Important Findings We found marked differences in community characteristics and number of associations among the eight habitats.Of the 74 species subjected to torus-translation test,63 had significant positive and 70 had significant negative associations with one or more of the eight habitats.Positive associations were more frequent in higher elevation habitats and negative associations were more frequent in lower eleva-tion habitats.This suggests that edaphic and hydrological variation related to topography play important roles in habitat partitioning in heterogeneous karst forests.For the 63 tree species with significant positive associations to at least one habitat,40 of them had the same positive association at young and mature life stages.The CCA revealed that the six topographic variables considered had consistent relation-ships with species distribution among all individuals and their two life stages.This indicates that most of the karst forest tree species show consistent associations with a single habitat throughout their life.We conclude that niche differentiation plays an important role in main-taining the diversity of this heterogeneous species-rich karst forest. | Yili Guo Bin Wang Azim U.Mallik Fuzhao Huang Wusheng Xiang Tao Ding Shujun Wen Shuhua Lu Dongxing Li Yunlin He Xiankun Li | 2017 | Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,3: | 6 |
| 3 | MIMO-DCSK communication scheme and its performance analysis over multipath fading channels显示文摘The differential chaotic shift keying(DCSK) communication in multiple input multiple output(MIMO) multipath fading channels is considered. A simple MIMO-DCSK communication scheme based on orthogonal multi-codes(OMCs) and equal gain combination(EGC) is proposed, in which OMCs are used to spread the same information bit at each transmitting antenna and the information bit is detected by EGC at receiving antenna. The OMCs are constructed from one chaotic sequence by means of othogonal space-time block coding(OSTBC). The output signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) after EGC is given based on central limit theory(CLT),and it can effectively exploit the spatial diversity of the underlying MIMO system. | 4 | Experimental research of active vibration and noise control of electrically controlled rotor显示文摘Electrically Controlled Rotor(ECR),also called as swashplateless rotor,applies blade pitch inputs via trailing-edge flaps system instead of traditional swashplate mechanism.In addition to primary control,rotor vibration reduction and noise alleviation are also achievable via applying higher harmonic control inputs with the trailing-edge flaps.In this paper,the feasibility of ECR to reduce vibration and noise actively is verified experimentally.Firstly,the test scheme of ECR active vibration and noise control is proposed,and the ECR test platform is modified according to the test scheme.Then,an adaptive control algorithm based on Kalman filter is developed.Lastly,hover and wind tunnel tests is performed to verify the feasibility of ECR active vibration and noise control.The results demonstrate that the ECR are effective for reducing rotor vibration and noise simultaneously.In the hover condition,the ECR can reduce the in-plane hub vibration by 42%and the inplane noise by 4dB.In wind tunnel condition,ECR can reduce the hub vibration by 75%and the BVI noise by 3dB. | Jinchao MA Yang LU Taoyong SU Shujun GUAN | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,11: | 3 |
| 5 | Efficacy and safety of chemotherapy combined with bevacizumab in Chinese patients with metastatic colorectal cancer:A prospective,multicenter,observational,non-interventional phaseⅣtrial显示文摘Objective:Bevacizumab has an important and evolving role in improving outcomes in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC)worldwide and was approved in China in 2010.However,there are limited real-world data on the efficacy and safety of chemotherapy regimens combined with bevacizumab in Chinese patients with mCRC.This observational,phase IV trial study aimed to obtain more experience on the efficacy and safety of bevacizumab combined with chemotherapy in Chinese mCRC patients.Methods:Between September 2013 and November 2016,patients with histologically confirmed mCRC were enrolled in a prospective,multicenter,observational,non-interventional phase IV trial at 26 centers across China.Eligible patients received different chemotherapeutic regimens combined with bevacizumab.The efficacy and safety data in the intention-to-treat study population were analyzed.Results:A total of 611 patients were included in the efficacy analysis.The median overall survival and median progression-free survival was 18.00 and 10.05 months,respectively.The objective response rate was 21.00%and disease control rate was 89.40%.In subgroup analyses,the survival differences were observed according to metastatic status,duration of treatment and elevation in blood pressure.A total of 613 patients were evaluable for safety assessments.And 569(92.82%)patients reported at least one adverse event(AE),and 151(24.63%)experienced grade 3 or higher AEs.The incidence of bevacizumab-associated AEs of special interest was reported in 31(5.06%)patients with hypertension(n=12),abscesses and fistulae(n=7),bleeding(n=6),proteinuria(n=3),gastrointestinal perforation(n=2)and venous thrombotic events(n=1).Conclusions:This observational phase IV trial broadens our experience and knowledge of bevacizumab in the Chinese population and provides a good indication of its overall efficacy and safety.Bevacizumab in combination with chemotherapy offers clinical benefits to Chinese patients with mCRC and has an acceptable and manageable safety profile. | Fenghua Wang Guanghai Dai Yanhong Deng Yong Tang Wei Wang Zuoxing Niu Feng Bi Liangjun Zhu Zengqing Guo Jin Yan Bing Hu Min Tao Shujun Yang Suzhan Zhang Lu Wen Ruihua Xu | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,4: | 2 |

| 8 | Coronavirus disease 2019 epidemic prediction in Shanghai under the “dynamic zero-COVID policy”using time-dependent SEAIQR model显示文摘It’s urgently needed to assess the COVID-19 epidemic under the“dynamic zero-COVID policy”in China,which provides a scientific basis for evaluating the effectiveness of this strategy in COVID-19 control.Here,we developed a time-dependent susceptible-exposed-asymptomatic-infected-quarantined-remov ed(SEAIQR)model with stage-specific interventions based on recent Shanghai epidemic data,considering a large number of asymptomatic infectious,the changing parameters,and control procedures.The data collected from March 1st,2022 to April 15th,2022 were used to fit the model,and the data of subsequent 7 days and 14 days were used to evaluate the model performance of forecasting.We then calculated the effective regeneration number(Rt)and analyzed the sensitivity of different measures scenarios.Asymptomatic infectious accounts for the vast majority of the outbreaks in Shanghai,and Pudong is the district with the most positive cases.The peak of newly confirmed cases and newly asymptomatic infectious predicted by the SEAIQR model would appear on April 13th,2022,with 1963 and 28,502 cases,respectively,and zero community transmission may be achieved in early to mid-May.The prediction errors for newly confirmed cases were considered to be reasonable,and newly asymptomatic infectious were considered to be good between April 16th to 22nd and reasonable between April 16th to 29th.The final ranges of cumulative confirmed cases and cumulative asymptomatic infectious predicted in this round of the epidemic were 26,477~47,749 and 402,254~730,176,respectively.At the beginning of the outbreak,Rt was 6.69.Since the implementation of comprehensive control,Rt showed a gradual downward trend,dropping to below 1.0 on April 15th,2022.With the early implementation of control measures and the improvement of quarantine rate,recovery rate,and immunity threshold,the peak number of infections will continue to decrease,whereas the earlier the control is implemented,the earlier the turning point of the epidemic will arrive.The proposed time-dependent SEAIQR dynamic model fits and forecasts the epidemic well,which can provide a reference for decision making of the“dynamic zero-COVID policy”. | Yifei Ma Shujun Xu Qi An Mengxia Qin Sitian Li Kangkang Lu Jiantao Li Lijian Lei Lu He Hongmei Yu Jun Xie | 2022 | Journal of Biosafety and Biosecurity2022,4,2: | 1 |

| 12 | A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation.
