1Carboniferous Post-collisional Rift Volcanism of the Tianshan Mountains, Northwestern China显示文摘The Tianshan Carboniferous post-collisional rift volcanic rocks occur in northwestern China as a large igneous province. Based on petrogeochemical data, the Tianshan Carboniferous post-collisional rift basic lavas can be classified into two major magma types: (1) the low-Ti/Y type situated in the eastern-central Tianshan area, which exhibits low Ti/Y (<500), Ce/Yb (<15) and SiO2 (43-55%), and relatively high Fe2O3T (6.4-11.5%); (2) the high-Ti/Y type situated in the western Tianshan area, which has high Ti/Y (>500), Ce/Yb (>11) and SiO2 (49-55%), and relatively low Fe2O3T (5.8-7.8%). Elemental data suggest that chemical variations of the low-Ti/Y and high-Ti/Y lavas cannot be explained by fractional crystallization from a common parental magma. The Tianshan Carboniferous basic lavas originated most likely from an OIB-like asthenospheric mantle source (87Sr/86Sr(t) ≈ 0.703-0.705, εNd(t) ≈ +4 to +7). The crustal contamination and continental lithospheric mantle have also contributed significantly to the formation of the basic lavas of the Tianshan Carboniferous post-collisional rift. The silicic lavas were probably generated by partial melting of the crust. The data of this study show that spatial petrogeochemical variations exist in the Carboniferous post-collisional rift volcanics province in the Tianshan region. Occurrence of the thickest volcanics dominated by tholeiitic lavas may imply that the center of the mantle-melting anomaly (mantle plume) was in the eastern Tianshan area at that time. The basic volcanic magmas in the eastern Tianshan area were generated by a relatively high degree of partial melting of the mantle source around the spinel-garnet transition zone, whereas the alkaline basaltic lavas are of the dominant magma type in the western Tianshan area, which were generated by a low degree of partial melting of the mantle source within the stable garnet region, thus the basic lavas of the western Tianshan area might have resulted from relatively thick lithosphere and low geothermal gradient.XIA Linqi, XU Xueyi, XIA Zuchun, LI Xiangmin, MA Zhongping and WANG Lishe Xi’an Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources, China Geological Survey, Xi’an, Shaanxi 710054 E-mail: geologyx@pub.xaonline.com. 2Reassessment of petrogenesis of Carboniferous—Early Permian rift-related volcanic rocks in the Chinese Tianshan and its neighboring areas显示文摘The Carboniferous Early Permian rill-related volcanic successions.covering large areas in the Chinese Tianshan and its adjacent areas.make up a newly recognized important Phanerozoic large igneous province in the world.which can be further divided into two sub-provinces:Tianshan and Tarim. The regional unconformity of Lower Carboniferous upon basement or pre-Carboniferous rocks.the ages (360—351 Ma) of the youngest ophiolite and the peak of subduction metamorphism of high pressure-low temperature metamorphic belt and the occurrence of Ni-Cu-bearing mafic-ultramatic intrusion with age of—352 Ma and A-type granite with age of~358 Ma reveal that the final closure of the Paleo Asian Ocean might lake place in the Early Mississippian.Our summation shows that at least four criteria.being normally used to identify ancient asthenosphere upwelling(or mantle plumes),are met for this large igneous province:(1) surface uplift prior to magmatism:(2) being associated with continental ifting and breakup events:(3) chemical characteristics of asthenosphere(or plume) derived basalts;(4) close links to large-scale minerali/alion and the uncontaminaled basalts,being analogous to those of many 'ore-bearing' large igneous provinces.display Sr-Nd isotopic variations between plume and EMI geochemical signatures.These suggest that a Carboniferous asthenosphere upwelling and an Early Permian plume played the central role in the generation of the Tianshan—Tarim(central Asia) large igneous province.Linqi Xia Xueyi Xu Xiangmin Li Zhongping Ma Zuchun Xia 2012Geoscience Frontiers2012,3,4:30

4Mid—Late Neoproterozoic rift-related volcanic rocks in China:Geological records of rifting and break-up of Rodinia显示文摘Early Cambrian and Mid-Late Neoproterozoic volcanic rocks in China are widespread on several Precambrian continental blocks,which had aggregated to form part of the Rodinia supercontinent by ca.900 Ma.On the basis of petrogeochemical data,the basic lavas can be classified into two major magma types:HT(Ti/Y>500) and LT(Ti/Y<500) that can be further divided into HT1 (Nb/La>0.85) and HT2(Nb/La≤0.85),and LT1(Nb/La>0.85) and LT2(Nb/La≤0.85) subtypes, respectively.The geochemical variation of the HT2 and LT2 lavas can be accounted for by lithospheric contamination of asthenosphere-(or plume-) derived magmas,whereas the parental magmas of the HT1 and LT1 lavas did not undergo,during their ascent,pronounced lithospheric contamination.These volcanics exhibit at least three characteristics:(1) most have a compositional bimodality;(2) they were formed in an intracontinental rift setting;and(3) they are genetically linked with mantle plumes or a mantle surperplume.This rift-related volcanism at end of the MidNeoproterozoic and Early Cambrian coincided temporally with the separation between AustraliaEast Antarctica,South China and Laurentia and between Australia and Tarim,respectively. 5Relationships between Basic and Silicic Magmatism in Continental Rift Settings:A Petrogeochemical Study of Carboniferous Post-collisional Rift Silicic Volcanics in Tianshan,NW China显示文摘Petrogeochemical data are reported for silicic volcanic rocks from the Tianshan Carboniferous rift, with the aim of discussing the petrogenesis of silicic magmas. Incompatible element vs. incompatible element diagrams display smooth positive trends for the Tianshan Carboniferous rift-related volcanic rocks; the isotope ratios of the silicic lavas [87Sr/86Sr(t)=0.69988–0.70532; εNd(t)=4.76–8.00; 206Pb/204Pb(t)=17.435–18.017; 207Pb/204Pb(t)=15.438–15.509; 208Pb/204Pb(t) = 37.075–37.723] encompass those of the basic lavas. These data suggest a genetic link between rhyolites and basalts, but are not definitive in establishing whether silicic rocks are related to basalts through fractional crystallization or partial melting. Geochemical modeling of incompatible vs. compatible elements excludes the possibility that silicic melts are generated by the melting of basaltic rocks, and indicates a derivation by fractional crystallization plus moderate assimilation of wall rocks (AFC) starting from intermediate rocks to silicic rocks. Continuous AFC from basalt to rhyolite, with small rates of crustal assimilation, best explains the geochemical data. The presence or absence of bimodal volcanism (the “Daly Gap”) might be related to cooling rates of magma chambers. In central and eastern Tianshan, the crust was thinner and the cooling rates of the magma chamber within the crust were greater. 6Establishing a human pancreatic stem cell line and transplanting induced pancreatic islets to reverse experimental diabetes in rats显示文摘The major obstacle in using pancreatic islet transplantation to cure type I and some type II diabetes is the shortage of the donors. One of ways to overcome such obstacle is to isolate and clone pancreatic stem cells as 'seed cells' and induce their differentiation into functional islets as an abundant trans-plantation source. In this study, a monoclonal human pancreatic stem cell (mhPSC) line was obtained from abortive fetal pancreatic tissues. Pancreatic tissues were taken from abortive fetus by sterile procedures, and digested into single cells and cell clusters with 0.1% type IV collagenase. Cultured in modified glucose-low DMEM with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS), these single cells and cell clusters adhered to culture dishes, and then primary epidermal-like pancreatic stem cells started to clone. After digesting with 0.25% trypsin and 0.04% EDTA, fibroblasts and other cells were gradually eliminated and epithelioid pancreatic stem cells were gradually purified during generations. Using clone-ring selection, the mhPSCs were obtained. After addition of 10 ng/mL epidermal growth factor (EGF) in cell culture medium, the mhPSCs quickly grew and formed a gravelstone-like monolayer. Continuously proliferated, a mhPSC line, which was derived from a male abortive fetus of 4 months old, has been passed through 50 generations. More than 1×109 mhPSCs were cryo-preserved in liquid nitrogen. Karyotype analysis showed that the chromosome set of the mhPSC line was normal diploid. Immunocytochemistry results demonstrated that the mhPSC line was positive for the pdx1, glucagon, nestin and CK19, and negative for the insulin, CD34, CD44 and CD45 protein expression. RT-PCR revealed further that the mhPSCs expressed transcription factors of the pdx1, glucagon, nestin and CK19. Also, in vitro induced with β-mercaptoethanol, the mhPSCs differentiated into nerve cells that expressed the NF protein. Induced with nicotinamide, the mhPSCs differentiated into functional islet-like clusters, as identified by di-thizone staining, which expressed the transcription factor of the insulin and secreted the insulin and C-peptide. 72D Layered Double Hydroxide Nanosheets and Their Derivatives Toward E cient Oxygen Evolution Reaction显示文摘Layered double hydroxides(LDHs)have attracted tremendous research interest in widely spreading applications.Most notably,transition-metal-bearing LDHs are expected to serve as highly active electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)due to their layered structure combined with versatile com-positions.Furthermore,reducing the thickness of platelet LDH crystals to nanometer or even molecular scale via cleavage or delamination provides an important clue to enhance the activity.In this review,recent progresses on rational design of LDH nanosheets are reviewed,including direct synthesis via traditional coprecipitation,homogeneous precipitation,and newly developed topochemical oxidation as well as chemical exfoliation of parent LDH crystals.In addition,diverse strategies are introduced to modulate their electrochemical activity by tuning the composition of host metal cations and intercalated counter-anions,and incorporating dopants,cavi-ties,and single atoms.In particular,hybridizing LDHs with conductive components or in situ growing them on conductive substrates to produce freestanding electrodes can further enhance their intrinsic catalytic activity.A brief discussion on future research directions and prospects is also summarized.Xueyi Lu Hairong Xue Hao Gong Mingjun Bai Daiming Tang Renzhi Ma Takayoshi Sasaki 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,7:8
8Growth and characterization ofβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films grown on off-angled Al_(2)O_(3)substrates by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition显示文摘Beta-gallium oxide(β-Ga_(2)O_(3))thin films were deposited on c-plane(0001)sapphire substrates with different mis-cut angles along<>by metal-organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD).The structural properties and surface morphology of as-grownβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films were investigated in detail.It was found that by using thin buffer layer and mis-cut substrate technology,the full width at half maximum(FWHM)of the()diffraction peak of theβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)film is decreased from 2°on c-plane(0001)Al_(2)O_(3)substrate to 0.64°on an 8°off-angled c-plane(0001)Al_(2)O_(3)substrate.The surface root-mean-square(RMS)roughness can also be improved greatly and the value is 1.27 nm for 8°off-angled c-plane(0001)Al_(2)O_(3)substrate.Room temper-ature photoluminescence(PL)was observed,which was attributed to the self-trapped excitons formed by oxygen and gallium vacancies in the film.The ultraviolet-blue PL intensity related with oxygen and gallium vacancies is decreased with the increas-ing mis-cut angle,which is in agreement with the improved crystal quality measured by high resolution X-ray diffraction(HR-XRD).The present results provide a route for growing high qualityβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)film on Al_(2)O_(3)substrate.Yabao Zhang Jun Zheng Peipei Ma Xueyi Zheng Zhi Liu Yuhua Zuo Chuanbo Li Buwen Cheng 2022Journal of Semiconductors2022,43,9:3
9Hyperglycemia induces protein nonenzymeatic glycosylation in brain neurons of diabetic rats at early stage显示文摘BACKGROUND: Protein nonenzymatic glycosylation is supposed to be one of mechanisms for chronic complications development in diabetes mellitus, and therefore, might play an important role in the neuronal degeneration. OBJECTIVE: To study the protein nonenzymatic glycosylation in brain neurons of diabetic rats, and to analyze the pathway of neuronal degeneration at the early stage of hyperglymecia. DESIGN: Randomized controlled animal experiment. SETTING: Department of Endocrinology, First hospital Affiliated to General Hospital of Chinese PLA and Beijing Laboratory for Brain Aging, Xuanwu Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University. MATERIALS: Thirty-five male Wistar rats (grade Ⅱ), aged 3 months old, and 11 male purebred Kunming mice (grade Ⅲ) without special pathogen, aged 3 months old, were provided by the Animal Room of Capital Medical University. METHODS: This experiment was carried out in the Beijing Laboratory for Brain Aging, Xuanwu Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University in 1998. The rats in the diabetic model group were intraperitoneally injected into 10 g/L STZ according to 60 mg/kg to establish rat models of diabetes mellitus. The blood glucose and body mass of rats in each group were determined respectively at 1, 2 and 3 months after modeling. The antibodies of advanced glycosylation end products (AGEs) of bovine serum albumin (anti-BSA) were self-prepared: ①The antigen of AGEs-BSA was prepared.②Eleven male Kuming mice (grade Ⅱ) of 3 months old without special pathogen were selected to inoculate AGEs-BSA. ③ The animals were immunized. ④Primary purification and detection of poly-antibodies of AGEs: the AGEs were performed immunohistochemical examination at 1 month after diabetic modeling by ELISA method. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: ① Detection results of blood glucose and body mass of rats in two groups at different time points. ② Determination of polyclonal antibody titer of AGEs-BSA. ③ Changes in immunohistochemical image of AGEs in brain tissue of rats in two groups. RESULTS: Thirteen rats in the diabetic model group and fifteen rats in the normal model group entered the stage of final analysis. ①Changes of blood glucose and body mass: At 1, 2 and 3 months after modeling, the blood glucose of rats in the diabetic model group were respectively(28.8±2.8),(23.1±5.5),(25.4± 5.1) mmol/L, which were significantly higher than those in the normal control group [(6.2±0.9),(6.1±0.8), (6.1±0.7) mmol/L,P < 0.01]; At 1, 2 and 3 months after modeling, the body mass of rats in the diabetic model group were respectively (250.1±52.2),(263.8±50.0),(261.5±42.6) g, which were significantly lower than those in the normal control group [(422.6±36.2),(462.6±39.0),(485.0±28.8) g,P < 0.01]. ②Determination of antibody titer of immune serum: The mice were treated by AGEs-BSA of different concentrations twice. After that, the titer of AGEs -BSA was determined, and the results of which indicated that a higher absorbance existed at 1∶1 000. ③Determination of antigen concentration: The final titer of antibody in the abdominal dropsy was determined, and the results of which suggested that there was a much higher absorbance in the AGEs-BSA at the concentration of 5–50 mg/L. ④Determination of antibody titer in abdominal dropsy: The antibody titer in abdominal dropsy was detected by ELISA method with antigen at 20 mg/L, which indicated that the maximum absorbance (1.265±0.039) existed at 1∶4 000, and very larger absorbance (0.982±0.067) at 1∶20 000. The polyclonal antibody of AGEs-BSA was successfully prepared. ⑤Immunohistochemical detection results: The immunohistochemical staining of AGEs showed there were positive neurons in the first month in the diabetic model group, whereas it was not significant in the normalcontrol group. The positive substances were found mainly in the cytoplasm. CONCLUSION: Hyperglycemia at the early stage of diabetes mellitus (1 month after modeling) can lead to protein nonenzymeatic glycosylation in brain neurons, and no obvious reactions mentioned above are found in the normal control group. 13Development and Analysis of the Magnetic Circuit on Double-Radial Permanent Magnet and Salient-Pole Electromagnetic Hybrid Excitation Generator for Vehicles显示文摘With the improvement of vehicles electrical equipment, the existing silicon rectification generator and permanent magnet generator cannot meet the requirement of the electric power consumption of the modern vehicles electrical equipment. It is di cult to adjust the air gap magnetic field of the permanent magnet generator. Consequently, the output voltage is not stable. The silicon rectifying generator has the problems of low e ciency and high failure rate.In order to solve these problems, a new type of hybrid excitation generator is developed in this paper. The developed hybrid excitation generator has a double-radial permanent magnet, a salient-pole electromagnetic combined rotor,and a fractional slot winding stator, where each rotor pole corresponds to 4.5 stator teeth. The equivalent magnetic circuit diagram of permanent magnet rotor and magnetic rotor is established. Magnetic field finite element analysis(FEA) software is used to conduct the modeling and simulation analysis on double-radial permanent magnet magnetic field, salient-pole electro-magnetic magnetic field and hybrid magnetic field. The magnetic flux density mold value diagram and vector diagram are obtained. The diagrams are used to verify the feasibility of this design. The designed electromagnetic coupling regulator controller can ensure the stable voltage export by changing the magnitude and direction of the excitation current to adjust the size of the air gap magnetic field. 14Highly reinforce the interface stability using 2-Phenyl-1H-imidazole-1-sulfonate electrolyte additive to enhance the high temperature performance of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)/graphite batteries显示文摘This work develops 2-Phenyl-1H-imidazole-1-sulfonate(PHIS)as a multi-functional electrolyte additive for H2O/HF scavenging and film formation to improve the high temperature performance of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)/graphite batteries.After 450 cycles at room temperature(25℃),the discharge capacity retentions of batteries with blank and PHIS-containing electrolyte are 56.03%and 94.92%respectively.After 230 cycles at high temperatures(45℃),their values are 75.30%and 88.38%respectively.The enhanced electrochemical performance of the batteries with PHIS-containing electrolyte is supported by the spectroscopic characterization and theoretical calculations.It is demonstrated that this PHIS electrolyte additive can facilitate the construction of the electrode interface films,remove the H2O/HF in the electrolyte,and improve the electrochemical performance of the batteries.This work not only develops a sulfonate-based electrolyte but also can stimulate new ideas of functional additives to improve the battery performance.Xin He Yiting Li Wenlian Wang Xueyi Zeng Huilin Hu Haijia Li Weizhen Fan Chaojun Fan Jian Cai Zhen Ma Junmin Nan 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,5:0
