1Migration and accumulation of natural gas in Kela-2 gas field显示文摘With the guidance of petroleum system theory,the dynamic filling history of natural gas in the Kela-2 gasfield is analyzed by using a large suite of oil and gas geo-chemistry evidence in combination with the tectonic evolu-tion history and reservoir evolution history. It concludes thatthe Kela-2 gas field was formed by capturing the gas gener-ated during the main gas generation period, while the latekerogen cracking gas contributed a little to the gas field. Itsuggests that the gas generated during the main gas genera-tion accumulated in the early-formed wide-gentle anticline,which is the necessary condition for natural gas to re-migrateand enrich late to form the large-scale gas reservoir. 2Identification of the novel recessive gene pi55(t) conferring resistance to Magnaporthe oryzae显示文摘The elite rice cultivar Yuejingsimiao 2 (YJ2) is characterized by a high level of grain quality and yield, and resistance against Magnaporthe oryzae. YJ2 showed 100% resistance to four fungal populations collected from Guangdong, Sichuan, Liaoning, and Heilongjiang Provinces, which is a higher frequency than that shown by the well-known resistance (R) gene donor cultivars such as Sanhuangzhan 2 and 28zhan. Segregation analysis for resistance with F 2 and F 4 populations indicated the resistance of YJ2 was controlled by multiple genes that are dominant or recessive. The putative R genes of YJ2 were roughly tagged by SSR markers, located on chromosomes 2, 6, 8, and 12, in a bulked-segregant analysis using genome-wide selected SSR markers with F 4 lines that segregated into 3 resistant (R):1 susceptible (S) or 1R:3S. The recessive R gene on chromosome 8 was further mapped to an interval 1.9 cM/152 kb in length by linkage analysis with genomic position-ready markers in the mapping population derived from an F 4 line that segregated into 1R:3S. Given that no major R gene was mapped to this interval, the novel R gene was designated as pi55(t). 5A trilogy antimicrobial strategy for multiple infections of orthopedic implants throughout their life cycle显示文摘Bacteria-associated infection represents one of the major threats for orthopedic implants failure during their life cycles.However,ordinary antimicrobial treatments usually failed to combat multiple waves of infections during arthroplasty and prosthesis revisions etc.As these incidents could easily introduce new microbial pathogens in/onto the implants.Herein,we demonstrate that an antimicrobial trilogy strategy incorporating a sophisticated multilayered coating system leveraging multiple ion exchange mechanisms and fine nanotopography tuning,could effectively eradicate bacterial infection at various stages of implantation.Early stage bacteriostatic effect was realized via nano-topological structure of top mineral coating.Antibacterial effect at intermediate stage was mediated by sustained release of zinc ions from doped CaP coating.Strong antibacterial potency was validated at 4 weeks post implantation via an implanted model in vivo.Finally,the underlying zinc titanate fiber network enabled a long-term contact and release effect of residual zinc,which maintained a strong antibacterial ability against both Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli even after the removal of top layer coating.Moreover,sustained release of Sr2+and Zn2+during CaP coating degradation substantially promoted implant osseointegration even under an infectious environment by showing more peri-implant new bone formation and substantially improved bone-implant bonding strength.Yikai Wang Wangsiyuan Teng Zengjie Zhang Xingzhi Zhou Yuxiao Ye Peng Lin An Liu Yan Wu Binghao Li Chongda Zhang Xianyan Yang Weixu Li Xiaohua Yu Zhongru Gou Zhaoming Ye 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:3
6Performance analysis of LTE-U coexistence network with WiFi using queueing model显示文摘The unforeseen mobile data explosion as well as the scarce of spectrum resource pose a major challenge to the performance of today's cellular networks which are in urgent need of novel solutions to handle such voluminous mobile data. Long term evolution-unlicensed(LTE-U), which extends the LTE standard operating on the unlicensed band, has been proposed to improve system throughput. In LTE-U system, arriving users will contend the unlicensed spectrum resource with wireless fidelity(WiFi) users to transmit data information. Nevertheless, there is no clear consensus as to the benefits of transmission using unlicensed bands for LTE users. To this end, in this paper an analytical model is presented based on a queue system to understand the performance achieved by unlicensed based LTE system taking quality of services(Qo S) and LTE-U users' behaviors into account. To obtain the stead-state solutions of the queue system, a matrix geometric method is used to solve it. Then, the average delay and utilization of unlicensed band for the LTE-U users is derived by using the queuing model. 7Haplotype-resolved genome of diploid ginger (Zingiber officinale) and its unique gingerol biosynthetic pathway显示文摘Ginger(Zingiber officinale),the type species of Zingiberaceae,is one of the most widespread medicinal plants and spices.Here,we report a high-quality,chromosome-scale reference genome of ginger‘Zhugen’,a traditionally cultivated ginger in Southwest China used as a fresh vegetable,assembled from PacBio long reads,Illumina short reads,and high-throughput chromosome conformation capture(Hi-C)reads.The ginger genome was phased into two haplotypes,haplotype 1(1.53 Gb with a contig N50 of 4.68 M)and haplotype 0(1.51 Gb with a contig N50 of 5.28 M).Homologous ginger chromosomes maintained excellent gene pair collinearity.In 17,226 pairs of allelic genes,11.9%exhibited differential expression between alleles.Based on the results of ginger genome sequencing,transcriptome analysis,and metabolomic analysis,we proposed a backbone biosynthetic pathway of gingerol analogs,which consists of 12 enzymatic gene families,PAL,C4H,4CL,CST,C3’H,C3OMT,CCOMT,CSE,PKS,AOR,DHN,and DHT.These analyses also identified the likely transcription factor networks that regulate the synthesis of gingerol analogs.Overall,this study serves as an excellent resource for further research on ginger biology and breeding,lays a foundation for a better understanding of ginger evolution,and presents an intact biosynthetic pathway for species-specific gingerol biosynthesis.Hong-Lei Li Lin Wu Zhaoming Dong Yusong Jiang Sanjie Jiang Haitao Xing Qiang Li Guocheng Liu Shuming Tian Zhangyan Wu Bin Wu Zhexin Li Ping Zhao Yan Zhang Jianmin Tang Jiabao Xu Ke Huang Xia Liu Wenlin Zhang Qinhong Liao Yun Ren Xinzheng Huang Qingzhi Li Chengyong Li Yi Wang Baskaran Xavier-Ravi Honghai Li Yang Liu Tao Wan Qinhu Liu Yong Zou Jianbo Jian Qingyou Xia Yiqing Liu 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:2
8Improving throughput through dynamically tuning contention window size in dense wireless network显示文摘With the boom of wireless devices, the number of wireless users under wireless local area networks(WLANs) has increased dramatically. However, the standard backoff mechanism in IEEE 802.11 adopts fixed initial contention window(CW) size without considering changes of network load, which leads to a high collision probability and low channel utilization in bursty arrivals. In this paper, a novel CW dynamic adjustment scheme is proposed to achieve high throughput performance in dense user environment. In the proposed scheme, the initial CW size is dynamically adjusted to optimum according to the measured packet collision probability. 10A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. 16Estimation of the Postmortem Interval by Measuring Blood Oxidation‑reduction Potential Values显示文摘Accurate estimation of the postmortem interval(PMI)is an important task in forensic practice.In the last half-century,the use of postmortem biochemistry has become an important ancillary method in determining the time of death.The present study was carried out to determine the correlation between blood oxidation-reduction potential(ORP)values and PMIs,and to develop a three-dimensional surface equation to estimate the PMI under various temperature conditions.A total of 48 rabbits were placed into six groups and sacrificed by air embolism.Blood was obtained from the right ventricle of each rabbit,and specimens were stored at 10℃,15℃,20℃,25℃,30℃,and 35℃.At different PMIs(once every 4 h),the blood ORP values were measured using a PB-21 electrochemical analyzer.Statistical analysis and curve fitting of the data yielded cubic polynomial regression equations and a surface equation at different temperatures.Result:The results showed that there was a strong positive correlation between the blood ORP values at different temperatures and the PMI.This study provides another example of using a three-dimensional surface equation as a tool to estimate the PMI at various temperature conditions.Zhuqing Jiang Meng You Xu Wang Di Lu Haidong Zhang Shengli Di Fengqin Zhang Zhaoming Guo Xiaofei E Lin Chang Jian Xiang Rufeng Bai Tiantong Yang 2016Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2016,2,1:0
