Traditional Chinese medicine integrated with chemotherapy for stage Ⅳ non-surgical gastric cancer: a retrospective clinical analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) is regarded as an important treatment for gastric cancer patients, especially for those in advanced stage. To evaluate the effects of TCM treatment on gastric cancer patients, the authors performed a retrospective study to report the result of the integrated treatment of TCM with chemotherapy for stage IV non-surgical gastric cancer.METHODS: In this study, 182 patients with stage IV and non-surgical gastric cancer were retrospectively analyzed to evaluate the effects of TCM integrated with chemotherapy. Among the 182 cases, 88 cases received integrated therapy consisting of TCM and chemotherapy, while 94 cases received chemotherapy alone. The overall survival and Karnofsky performance status(KPS) score were measured as the main outcome.RESULTS: The median overall survival of the integrated therapy group and chemotherapy group were 16.9 and 10.5 months, respectively. The 1-, 3-and 5-year survival rates of integrated therapy group vs. chemotherapy group were 70% vs. 32%, 18% vs. 4%, and 11% vs. 0%, respectively. There was a significant difference between the two groups(χ2 = 42.244, P < 0.001). After six-month treatment, KPS scores of the integrated therapy group and the chemotherapy group were 75.00 ± 14.78 and 60.64 ± 21.39, respectively(P < 0.001). The Cox regression analysis showed that TCM treatment is a protective factor for patients' overall survival. CONCLUSION: This study demonstrated that TCM integrated with chemotherapy may prolong overall survival and improve survival rate and life quality of patients with stage IV non-surgical gastric cancer. | xuan liu li-juan xiu jian-peng jiao jing zhao ying zhao ye lu jun shi yong-jin li min ye yu-fang gu xiao-wei wang jing-yu xu ci-an zhang yong-ying liu yun luo xiao-qiang yue | 2017 | Journal of Integrative Medicine2017,15,6: | 18
effective treatment of post-intubation subglottic stenosis in children with holmium laser therapy and cryotherapy via flexible bronchoscopy显示文摘Importance:Post-intubation subglottic stenosis(SGS)in children can be life threatening.Definitive treatment varies and lacks a universally accepted approach. Objective:We performed a prospective study to assess the safety and feasibility of holmium laser combined with cryotherapy delivered via flexible bronchoscopy for the treatment of post-intubation SGS in children. Methods:This study involved all patients with post-intubation SGS seen at the Interventional Pulmonology Department of Beijing Children's Hospital between July 2014 and December 2016.Holmium laser treatment and cryotherapy was then performed under flexible bronchoscopy, whose parents refused to accept the alternative standard treatment of tracheotomy and balloon dilation under direct laryngoscopy.results:Sixteen patients with post-intubation SGS were included in this study.Ages ranged from 2 months to 12.25 years old.According to the Cotton-Myer grading system, three cases were Grade II,12 cases were Grade III,and one case was Grade IV.According to the McCaffrey system, eight cases were Stage 1,two cases were Stage 2,and six cases were Stage 3.The average number of procedures was 4.88.Fifteen of the 16 patients achieved clinical cure. One patient achieved clinical improvement. The average treatment course duration was 55.31 days.No severe complications were seen.Post-treatment clinical symptoms, endoscopic findings and quality of life showed marked improvement.Interpretation:Our study supports the conclusion that holmium laser treatment combined with cryotherapy via flexible bronchoscopy appears to be a safe and feasible treatment for post-intubation SGS in children. | Anxia Jiao Fang Liu Andrew D.Lerner Xiaochun Rao Yan Guo Chenfang Meng Yuena Pan Gan Li Zheng Li Fang Wang Jing Zhao Yuyan Ma Xicheng Liu Xin Ni Kunling Shen | 2019 | Pediatric Investigation2019,3,1: | 10
Resequencing of 145 Landmark Cultivars Reveals Asymmetric Sub-genome Selection and Strong Founder Genotype Effects on Wheat Breeding in China显示文摘Controlled pedigrees and the multi-decade timescale of national crop plant breeding programs offer a unique experimental context for examining how selection affects plant genomes.More than 3000 wheat cultivars have been registered, released, and documented since 1949 in China. In this study,a set of 145 elite cultivars selected from historical points of wheat breeding in China were re-sequenced.A total of 43.75 Tb of sequence data were generated with an average read depth of 17.94x for each cultivar, and more than 60.92 million SNPs and 2.54 million InDels were captured, based on the Chinese Spring RefSeq genome v1.0.Seventy years of breeder-driven selection led to dramatic changes in grain yield and related phenotypes, with distinct genomic regions and phenotypes tar-geted by different breeders across the decades. There are very clear instances illustrating how introduced Italian and otherforeign germplasm was integrated into Chinese wheat programs and reshaped the genomic landscape of local modern cultivars.Importantly, the resequencing data also highlighted significant asymmetric breeding selec-tion among the three sub-genomes:this was evident in both the collinear blocks for homeologous chromosomes and among sets of three homeologous genes.Accumulation of more newly assembled genes in newer cultivars implied the potential value of these genes in breeding.Conserved and extended sharing of linkage disequilibrium(LD)blocks was highlighted among pedigree-related cultivars,in which fewer haplotype differences were detected.Fixation or replacement of haplotypes from founder genotypes after generations of breeding was related to their breeding value.Based on the haplotype frequency changes in LD blocks of pedigree-related cultivars,we propose a strategy for evaluating the breeding value of any given line on the basis of the accumulation(pyramiding)of bene-ficial haplotypes.Collectively, our study demonstrates the influence of 'founder genotypes' on the output of breeding efforts over many decades and also suggests that founder genotype perspectives are in fact more dy-namic when applied in the context of modern genomics-informed breeding. | Chenyang Hao Chengzhi Jiao Jian Hou Tian Li Hongxia Liu Yuquan Wang Jun Zheng Hong Liu Zhihong Bi Fengfeng Xu Jing Zhao Lin Ma Yamei Wang Uzma Majeed Xu Liu Rudi Appels Marco Maccaferri Roberto Tuberosa Hongfeng Lu Xueyong Zhang | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,12: | 9
Curcumenol triggered ferroptosis in lung cancer cells via lncRNA H19/miR-19b-3p/FTH1 axis显示文摘Curcumenol,an effective ingredient of Wenyujin, has been reported that exerted its antitumor potential in a few cancer types. However, the effect and molecular mechanism of curcumenol in lung cancer are largely unknown. Here,we found that curcumenol induced cell death and suppressed cell proliferation in lung cancer cells.Next,we demonstrated that ferroptosis was the predominant method that contributed to curcumenol-induced cell death of lung cancer in vitro and vivo for the first time.Subsequently, using RNA sequencing,we found that the long non-coding RNA H19(lncRNA H19)was significantly downregulated in lung cancer cells treated with curcumenol, when compared to untreated controls.Overexpression of lncRNA H19 eliminated the anticancer effect of curcumenol, while lncRNA H19 knockdown promoted ferroptosis induced by curcumenol treatment.Mechanistically,we showed that lncRNA H19 functioned as a competing endogenous RNA to bind to miR-19b-3p,thereby enhanced the transcription activity of its endogenous target, ferritin heavy chain 1(FTH1),a marker of ferroptosis. In conclusion, our data show that the natural product curcumenol exerted its antitumor effects on lung cancer by triggering ferroptosis, and the lncRNA H19/miR-19b-3p/FTH1 axis plays an essential role in curcumenol-induced ferroptotic cell death. Therefore, our findings will hopefully provide a valuable drug for treating lung cancer patients. | Ruonan Zhang Ting Pan Yu Xiang Mingming Zhang Han Xie Zimao Liang Bi Chen Cong Xu Jing Wang Xingxing Huang Qianru Zhu Ziming Zhao Quan Gao Chengyong Wen Wencheng Liu Weirui Ma Jiao Feng Xueni Sun Ting Duan Elaine Lai-Han Leung Tian Xie Qibiao Wu Xinbing Sui | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,7: | 8
Comparison of nonhuman primates identified the suitable model for COVID-19显示文摘Identification of a suitable nonhuman primate(NHP)model of COVID-19 remains challenging. Here,we characterized severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection in three NHP species:Old World monkeys Macaca mulatta(M.mulatta)and Macaca fascicularis(M.fascicularis)and New World monkey Callithrix jacchus(C.jacchus).Infected M.mulatta and M.fascicularis showed abnormal chest radiographs,an increased body temperature and a decreased body weight.Viral genomes were detected in swab and blood samples from all animals.Viral load was detected in the pulmonary tissues of M.mulatta and M.fascicularis but not C.jacchus.Furthermore,among the three animal species,M.mulatta showed the strongest response to SARS-CoV-2,including increased inflammatory cytokine expression and pathological changes in the pulmonary tissues.Collectively, these data revealed the different susceptibilities of Old World and New World monkeys to SARS-CoV-2 and identified M.mulatta as the most suitable for modeling COVID-19. | Shuaiyao Lu Yuan Zhao Wenhai Yu Yun Yang Jiahong Gao Junbin Wang Dexuan Kuang Mengli Yang Jing Yang Chunxia Ma Jingwen Xu Xingli Qian Haiyan Li Siwen Zhao Jingmei Li Haixuan Wang Haiting Long Jingxian Zhou Fangyu Luo Kaiyun Ding Daoju Wu Yong Zhang Yinliang Dong Yuqin Liu Yinqiu Zheng Xiaochen Lin Li Jiao Huanying Zheng Qing Dai Qiangming Sun Yunzhang Hu Changwen Ke Hongqi Liu Xiaozhong Peng | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 5
Mesenchymal stem cell treatment improves outcome of COVID-19 patients via multiple immunomodulatory mechanisms显示文摘The infusion of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients with mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)potentially improves clinical symptoms, but the underlying mechanism remains unclear. We conducted a randomized,single-blind,placebo-controlled(29 patients/group)phase II clinical trial to validate previous findings and explore the potential mechanisms.Patients treated with umbilical cord-derived MSCs exhibited a shorter hospital stay(P=0.0198)and less time required for symptoms remission(P=0.0194)than those who received placebo.Based on chest images, both severe and critical patients treated with MSCs showed improvement by day 7(P=0.0099)and day 21(P=0.0084).MSC-treated patients had fewer adverse events.MSC infusion reduced the levels of C-reactive protein, proinflammatory cytokines, and neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)and promoted the maintenance of SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies. To explore how MSCs modulate the immune system,we employed single-cell RNA sequencing analysis on peripheral blood. Our analysis identified a novel subpopulation of VNN2+hematopoietic stem/progenitorlike(HSPC-like)cells expressing CSF3R and PTPRE that were mobilized following MSC infusion.Genes encoding chemotaxis factors—CX3CR1 and L-selectin—were upregulated in various immune cells.MSC treatment also regulated B cell subsets and increased the expression of costimulatory CD28 in T cells in vivo and in vitro. In addition,an in vivo mouse study confirmed that MSCs suppressed NET release and reduced venous thrombosis by upregulating kindlin-3 signaling.Together, our results underscore the role of MSCs in improving COVID-19 patient outcomes via maintenance of immune homeostasis. | Rongjia Zhu Tingdong Yan Yingmei Feng Yan Liu Hongcui Cao Gongxin Peng Yanlei Yang Zhen Xu Jingqi Liu Wei Hou Xiaoyue Wang Zhe Li Luchan Deng Shihua Wang Jing Li Qin Han Hongling Li Guangliang Shan Yinghao Cao Xingyan An Jianshe Yan Zhonghui Zhang Huafei Li Xuebin Qu Jiaqi Zhu Shumin Zhou Jiao Wang Fengchun Zhang Jinming Gao Ronghua Jin Dayong Xu Yan-Qing Ma Tao Huang Shuang Peng Zhi Zheng Ilia Stambler Eric Gilson Lee Wei Lim Alexey Moskalev Antonio Cano Sasanka Chakrabarti Brun Ulfhake Huanxing Su Haoying Xu Sihuan Xu Feng Wei Holly MBrown-Borg Kyung-Jin Min Georgina Ellison-Hughes Calogero Caruso Kunlin Jin Robert Chunhua Zhao | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,12: | 5
Impact of Heat Shield Structure in the Growth Process of Czochralski Silicon Derived from Numerical Simulation显示文摘Further development of the photovoltaic industry is restricted by the productivity of mono-crystalline silicon technology due to its requirements of low cost and high efficient photocells. The heat shield is not only the important part of the thermal field in Czochralski(Cz)mono-crystalline silicon furnace, but also one of the most important factors influencing the silicon crystal growth.Large-diameter Cz-Si crystal growth process is taken as the study object.Based on FEM numerical simulation, different heat shield structures are analyzed to investigate the heater power, the melt-crystal interface shape, the argon flow field, and the oxygen concentration at the melt-crystal interface in the process of large Cz-Si crystal growth. The impact of these factors on the growth efficiency and crystal quality are analyzed. The results show that the oxygen concentration on the melt-crystal interface and the power consumption of the heater stay high due to the lack of a heat shield in the crystal growth system.Argon circumfluence is generated on the external side of the right angle heat shield.By the right-angle heat shield, the speed of gas flow is lowered on the melt free surface, and the temperature gradient of the free surface is increased around the melt-crystal interface. It is not conducive for the stable growth of crystal. The shape of the melt-crystal interface and the argon circulation above the melt free surface are improved by the inclined heat shield.Compared with the others, the system pulling rate is increased and the lowest oxygen concentration is achieved at the melt-crystal interface with the composite heat shield.By the adoption of the optimized composite heat shield in experiment, the real melt-crystal interface shapes and its deformation laws obtained by Quick Pull Separation Method at different pulling rates agree with the simulation results. The results show that the method of simulation is feasible. The proposed research provides the theoretical foundation for the thermal field design of the large diameter Cz-Si monocrystalline growth. | ZHANG Jing LIU Ding ZHAO Yue JIAO Shangbin | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,3: | 4
Marangoni effect of cracked liquid film of an aqueous electrolyte flowing over a vertical heated plate显示文摘An experimental investigation was performed on Marangoni effect of cracked liquid film of aqueous Na_2SO_4 flowing over a vertical heated plate by using a sensitive infrared imaging technique. The results show that the thermal and solutal Marangoni effects, which result from the non-uniform distributions of surface temperature and concentration of the film, respectively, occur in the streamwise and transverse directions of the film, generating different influences on the film heat transfer. Taking account of the Marangoni number (Ma) and the solution concentration (c_0), a correlation of the Nusselt number (Nu) for the cracked liquid film is proposed. | ZHAO XianGuang ZHANG Feng PENG Jing GENG Jiao ZHANG ZhiBing | 2007 | Chinese Science Bulletin2007,52,21: | 4

Fast integration and accumulation of beneficial breeding alleles through an AB–NAMIC strategy in wheat显示文摘Wheat(Triticum aestivum)is among the most important staple crops for safeguarding the food security of the growing world population. To bridge the gap between genebank diversity and breeding programs,we developed an advanced backcross-nested association mapping plus inter-crossed population(AB-NAMIC)by crossing three popular wheat cultivars as recurrent founders to 20 germplasm lines from a mini core collection.Selective backcrossing combined with selection against undesirable traits and extensive crossing within and between sub-populations created new opportunities to detect unknown genes and increase the frequency of beneficial alleles in the AB-NAMIC population. We performed phenotyping of 590 AB-NAMIC lines and a natural panel of 476 cultivars for six consecutive growing seasons and genotyped these 1066 lines with a 660K SNP array.Genome-wide association studies of both panels for plant development and yield traits demonstrated improved power to detect rare alleles and loci with medium genetic effects in AB-NAMIC.Notably,genome-wide association studies in AB-NAMIC detected the candidate gene TaSWEET6-7B(TraesCS7B03G1216700),which has high homology to the rice SWEET6b gene and exerts strong effects on adaptation and yield traits. The commercial release of two derived AB-NAMIC lines attests to its direct applicability in wheat improvement.Valuable information on genome-wide association studymapping, candidate genes, and their haplotypes for breeding traits are available through WheatGAB.Our research provides an excellent framework for fast-tracking exploration and accumulation of beneficial alleles stored in genebanks. | Chengzhi Jiao Chenyang Hao Tian Li Abhishek Bohra Lanfen Wang Jian Hou Hongxia Liu Hong Liu Jing Zhao Yamei Wang Yunchuan Liu Zhiwei Wang Xin Jing Xiue Wang Rajeev K.Varshney Junjie Fu Xueyong Zhang | 2023 | Plant Communications2023,4,3: | 3
Development of a polycaprolactone/poly(p-dioxanone)bioresorbable stent with mechanically self-reinforced structure for congenital heart disease treatment显示文摘Recent progress in bioresorbable stents(BRSs)has provided a promising alternative for treating coronary artery disease. However, there is still lack of BRSs with satisfied compression and degradation performance for pediatric patients with congenital heart disease, leading to suboptimal therapy effects. Here,we developed a mechanically self-reinforced composite bioresorbable stent(cBRS)for congenital heart disease application. The cBRS consisted of poly(p-dioxanone)monofilaments and polycaprolactone/poly(p-dioxanone)core-shell composite yarns.Interlacing points in cBRS structure were partially bonded, offering the cBRS with significantly higher compression force compared to typical braids and remained good compliance. The suitable degradation profile of the cBRS can possibly preserve vascular remodeling and healing process. In addition, the controllable structural organization provides a method to customize the performance of the cBRS by altering the proportion of different components in the braids. The in vivo results suggested the cBRS supported the vessel wall similar to that of metallic stent. In both abdominal aorta and iliac artery of porcine,cBRS was entirely endothelialized within 1 month and maintained target vessels with good patency in the 12-month follow-up.The in vivo degradation profile of the cBRS is consistent with static degradation results in vitro. It is also demonstrated that there is minimal impact of pulsatile pressure of blood flow and variation of radial force on the degradation rate of the cBRS.Moreover, the lumen of cBRS implanted vessels were enlarged after 6 months, and significantly larger than the vessels implanted with metallic stent in 12 months. | Fan Zhao Jing Sun Wen Xue Fujun Wang Martin W.King Chenglong Yu Yongjie Jiao Kun Sun Lu Wang | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,9: | 3
Genomic footprints of wheat evolution in China reflected by a Wheat660K SNP array显示文摘Common wheat(Triticum aestiuum L.)is one of the most important crops because it provides about 20%of the total calories for humans.T.aestiuum is an excellent modern species for studying concerted evolution of sub-genomes in polyploid species, because of its large chromosome size and three well-known genome donors.Establishment of common wheat genome reference sequence and development of high-density SNP chips provide an excellent foundation to answer questions of wheat evolution and breeding at the genomic level.By genotyping more than 600 accessions of common wheat and their diploid and tetraploid ancestors using a Wheat660 K SNP array,we found dramatic genome changes due to tetraploidization and hexaploidization,in contrast to weaker influences of domestication and breeding on them.Further, since common wheat was introduced in China in 1500 BCE,Chinese landraces formed two subgroups(T.aestiuum-L1 and T.aestiuum-L2)with considerably diverse geographic distributions and agronomic traits.T.aestiuum-L2,mainly distributed in central and east China is found to have more but smaller oval grains with early maturity characteristics. We found that variation and selection in intergenic regions of the A and B sub-genomes dominated this differentiation,in which chromosomes 7 A and 3 B took the leading roles due to the existence of putative genes related to defense responses and environmental adaption in the highly differentiated regions.Large haplotype blocks were detected on 3 B(232.6-398.3 Mb)and 7 A(211.7-272.9 Mb)in the landraces, forming two distinct haplotypes, respectively. We discovered that artificial crosses in breeding promoted recombination in the whole genome, however, this recombination and differentiation was highly asymmetric among the three sub-genomes in homoeologous regions. In addition,we found that the wide use of European and northern American cultivars in breeding at early era,led dramatic changes in Chinese wheat genome, whereas, the recent breeding functioned to optimize it.This study will provide the insight for reconsideration of wheat evolution and breeding, and a new strategy for parent selection in breeding. | Zhiwei Wang Chenyang Hao Jing Zhao Chang Li Chengzhi Jiao Wei Xi Jian Hou Tian Li Hongxia Liu Xueyong Zhang | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,1: | 2
Visual detection of rice rows based on Bayesian decision theory and robust regression least squares method显示文摘Paddy field management is complicated and labor intensive.Correct row detection is important to automatically track rice rows.In this study,a novel method was proposed for accurate rice row recognition in paddy field transplanted by machine before the disappearance of row information.Firstly,Bayesian decision theory based on the minimum error was used to classify the period of collected images into three periods(T1:0-7 d;T2:7-28 d;T3:28-45 d),and resulting in the correct recognition rate was 97.03%.Moreover,secondary clustering of feature points was proposed, which can solve some problems such as row breaking and tilting. Then, the robust regression least squares method(RRLSM)for linear fitting was proposed to fit rice rows to effectively eliminate interference by outliers. Finally,a credibility analysis of connected region markers was proposed to evaluate the accuracy of fitting lines. When the threshold of credibility was set at 40%,the correct recognition rate of fitting lines was 96.32%.The result showed that the method can effectively solve the problems caused by the presence of duckweed,high-density inter-row weeds, broken rows,tilting(±60°),wind and overlap. | Jing He Ying Zang Xiwen Luo Runmao Zhao Jie He Jinkang Jiao | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1: | 2

Synergistic effects of silver nanoparticles and cisplatin in combating inflammation and hyperplasia of airway stents显示文摘Anti-inflammatory and antihyperplasia activities are essential requirements for the successful use of airway stents. In this work, silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)and cisplatin(DDP)were combined in a synergistic modification strategy to improve the surface function of airway stents.Using polycaprolactone(PCL)as a drug carrier,a dual-functional PCL-AgNPs-DDP fiber film-coated airway stent was fabricated by electrospinning. The physicochemical and biological properties of the obtained fiber films were examined. The ATR-FTIR,XPS,SEM-EDS and TEM results suggested that AgNPs and DDP could be successfully immobilized onto the airway stent surface. The drug release and surface degradation results revealed that AgNPs and DDP can undergo sustained release from films for 30 d,and the weight loss was approximately 50%after 35 d.In addition, the dual-functional fiber film suppressed human embryonic lung fibroblast growth and exhibited excellent antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans.Furthermore, the effectiveness of the dual-functional fiber film-coated airway stent was evaluated by application to the trachea of New Zealand rabbits. The in vivo results indicated that PCL-AgNPs-DDP fiber film-coated airway stent can significantly inhibit granulation tissue formation and collagen deposition, reduced the expression of IL-8,TNF-α,IL-1α,PCNA,α-SMA and CD68,and ultimately achieved anti-inflammatory and antihyperplasia effects.Hence, this study provides a dual-functional surface-coated airway stent to address the clinical complications associated with respiratory tract inflammation and granulation tissue hyperplasia, thus inhibiting tracheal stenosis. | Zhaonan Li Chuan Tian Dechao Jiao Jing Li Yahua Li Xueliang Zhou Huiping Zhao Yanan Zhao Xinwei Han | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,3: | 1

Exploring the genomic signatures of soybean evolution is crucial for breeding varieties with improved adaptability to environmental extremes. We analyzed the genome sequences of 2,214 soybeans and proposed a soybean evolutionary route, i.e., the expansion of annual wild soybean(Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.) from southern China and its domestication in central China, followed by the expansion and local breeding selection of its landraces(G. max(L.) Merr.). We observed that the genetic introgression in soybean landraces was mostly derived from sympatric rather than allopatric wild populations during the geographic expansion. Soybean expansion and breeding were accompanied by the positive selection of flowering time genes, including GmSPA3c. | 19 | Local dry vitrectomy combined with segmental scleral buckling and viscoelastic tamponade for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with vitreous traction显示文摘AIM:To demonstrate local dry vitrectomy combined with segmental scleral buckling and viscoelastic tamponade for the treatment of partial rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD)with local vitreous traction in patients at high-risk for proliferative vitreoretinopathy(PVR).METHODS:Eleven eyes of 11 patients were retrospectively studied, including 5 retinal dialysis and 6 retinal detachment(RD;5 eyes with peripheral retinal hole and I eye with giant tear). All patients exhibited partial RD and local vitreous traction.Combined local dry vitrectomy without conventional infusion and segmental scleral buckling was performed.Viscoelastic fluid was injected into the vitreous cavity if needed Demographic information, preoperative and postoperative complications, and outcomes were recorded.RESULTS:The mean age of the patients at presentation was 26.55±13.52y.All 11 patients obtained retinal reattachment after a single surgical intervention.Postoperative visual acuities were improved or remained stable in all patients.None of them developed complications, except for temporary mildly increased intraocular pressure in 3 cases.CONCLUSION:Combined local dry vitrectomy and segmental scleral buckling are effective for patients of RRD with local vitreous traction. The technique avoids many complications associated with regular surgery and was minimally invasive to both the external and internal eye. | Ping Fei Hai-Ying Jin Qi Zhang Jie Peng Jia-Kai Li Jiao Lyu Tian Tian Zu-Peng Lu Jing Li Pei-Quan Zhao | 2020 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2020,13,11: | 1 |
MTT法抗肿瘤药物敏感试验过程中的影响因素分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of the study was to evaluate the impact of the chemosensitivity assay in vitro and establish a standard process of measuring the anti-cancer drug sensitivity with MTT assay. Methods: Some influencing factors of MTT assay in studying the sensitivity of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) to anti-cancer drugs were observed, including red blood cells, platelets, three different kinds of DMSO and different concentrations of MTT. Meanwhile the stability of tumor drug-coated plate was monitored. Results: The red blood cells and platelets may affect the results at a certain range of concentration. Analytical pure DMSO, both imported and domestic reagents showed the same color with MTT, and the A values of the reaction were dependent on MTT dose. The stability of the freeze-drying drug-coated plates was superior to non freeze-drying ones. Conclusion: To make clear and definite all kinds of influencing factors might contribute to a kind of standard MTT assay for drug sensitivity test in vitro. | Mancang Zhao Wenqing Wei Jing Liu Yan Zhang Juan Jiao Yao Fu Ping An | 2009 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2009,8,9: | 1
