1Effects of Corridor Networks on Plant Species Composition and Diversity in an Intensive Agriculture Landscape显示文摘The development of modern agriculture has resulted in much homogenization of the landscape consisting of large patches of farmland,so small remnant non-crop habitats especially linear corridors play an important role in the conservation of species and the maintenance of ecosystem functions.However,little attention has been paid to the effects of corridors structural characteristics on the plant species restricted to such habitats.In this study,we selected three types of corridors including ditch,hedgerow and road,and analyzed their structural characteristics.The plant species presented in these corridors were investigated,and the species diversity,abundance and frequency were estimated.Moreover,spatial arrangements of corridors were classified into different types to discuss whether there were significant effects of corridor network on plant distribution.The results show that three types of corridors have different effects on plant species composition and diversity.The one-one combined corridor networks and total network associated by three corridors have more complex structural features than each single type of corridor.However,there is no strong correlation between the corridor networks with their plant species.We suggest that carrying out a pointed vegetation survey at corridor intersections to further test the relationships between structural features of corridor and plants is necessary.TANG Qian LIANG Guofu LU Xunling DING Shengyan 2014Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,1:6

3Source-type solutions of heat equations with convection in several variables space显示文摘In this paper we study the source-type solution for the heat equation with convection: ut = △u + ■·▽un for (x,t) ∈ ST→ RN × (0,T] and u(x,0) = δ(x) for x ∈ RN, where δ(x) denotes Dirac measure in = RN,N 2,n 0 and b = (b1,...,bN) ∈ RN is a vector. It is shown that there exists a critical number pc = N+2 such that the source-type solution to the above problem exists and is unique if 0 N n < pc and there exists a unique similarity source-type solution in the case n = N+1 , while such a solution does not exist N if n > pc. Moreover, the asymptotic behavior of the solution near the origin is studied. 7Ferroelectricity in dopant-free HfO_(2) thin films prepared by pulsed laser deposition显示文摘As a high-k material,hafnium oxide(HfO_(2))has been used in gate dielectrics for decades.Since the discovery of polar phase in Si-doped HfO_(2) films,chemical doping has been widely demonstrated as an effective approach to stabilize the ferroelectric phase in HfO_(2) based thin films.However,the extra capping layer deposition,post-growth annealing and wake-up effect are usually required to arouse the ferroelectricity in HfO_(2) based thin films,resulting in the increase of complexity for sample synthesis and the impediment of device application.In this study,the ferroelectricity is observed in non-capped dopant-free HfO_(2) thin films prepared by pulsed laser deposition(PLD)without post-growth annealing.By adjusting the deposited temperature,oxygen pressure and thickness,the maximum polarization up to 14.7 m C/cm^(2) was obtained in 7.4 nm-thick film.The fraction of orthorhombic phase,concentrations of defects and size effects are considered as possible mechanisms for the influences of ferroelectric prop-erties.This study indicates that PLD is an effective technique to fabricate high-quality ferroelectric HfO_(2) thin films in the absence of chemical doping,capping layer deposition and post-growth annealing,which may boost the process of nonvolatile memory device application.Yongjian Luo Zhenxun Tang Xiaozhe Yin Chao Chen Zhen Fan Minghui Qin Min Zeng Guofu Zhou Xingsen Gao Xubing Lu Jiyan Dai Deyang Chen Jun-Ming Liu 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,2:1

10Development of taxonomic rRNA-targeted probes of two harmful algae: Prorocentrum minimum and Karenia mikimotoi by fluorescence in situ hybridization显示文摘Harmful algal blooms recently have been under the spotlight throughout the world, because of their negative impact on the marine environment, aquaculture, fisheries as well as public health. The development of methods for rapid and precise identification and quantification of causative species is essential for the warning and monitoring of blooms, among which the techniques based on taxonomic probes are the most favored. In this study, two harmful algae, i.e., Prorocentrum minimum and Karenia mikimotoi were taken into consideration. The partial large subunit rDNA (D1-D2) of both species were firstly PCR-amplified, cloned and sequenced. The obtained sequences were then introduced to carry out alignment analysis for gene specific regions. Three respective candidate probes for each species were designed and used to screen the optimal probe by performing fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) tests. The results showed that the probes Pmin0443 and Kmik0602 displayed the best hybridization for P. minimum and K. mikimotoi, respectively. Both the specific (taxonomic) (Pmin0443 and Kmik0602) and the control probes (UniC0512 and UniR0499) were used for cross-reactivity tests with other microalgae in our laboratory. The probes Pmin0443 and Kmik0602 are specific and could be served as taxonomic probes introduced into the techniques targeting rRNA, such as FISH, sandwich hybridization, and DNA-microarray assay of P. minimum and K. mikimotoi in the future. Finally, FISH analyses with both probes were performed on the simulated field samples. The probes could hybridize exclusively with the target cells well, and no significant difference (p >0.05) was observed in the cell densities of the samples determined by FISH and light microscopy (LM). 11The optimization of replica distribution in the unstructured overlays显示文摘Replication is a widely used technique in unstructured overlays to improve content availability or system performance. A fundamental question often addressed by previous work focused on: how many replicas ought to be allocated for each data item given the fixed query rates and limited storage capability? In this paper, we have put forth two optimal replica distributions to achieve the highest success rate and the lowest message consumption. Especially, we have investigated the influence of item size on replica distribution. Our results show that Square-Root Replication, which is traditionally considered to be optimal, is not always the best choice. 12Source-type solution to nonlinear Fokker-Planck equation in one dimension显示文摘In this paper, we consider the following equation ut=(um)xx+(un)x, with the initial condition as Dirac measure. Attention is focused on existence, nonexistence, uniqueness and the asymptotic behavior near (0,0) of solution to the Cauchy's problem. The special feature of this equation lies in nonlinear convection effect, i.e., the equation possesses nonlinear hyperbolic character as well as degenerate parabolic one. The situation leads to a more sophisticated mathematical analysis. To our knowledge, the solvability of singular solution to the equation has not been concluded yet. 16Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector.Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements,such as its low-energy threshold,high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors,and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors.In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable,assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition,approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected.This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter,which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle.Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better,depending on the central value,and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND 19Versatile SrFeO_(x) for memristive neurons and synapses显示文摘Spiking neural network(SNN)consisting of memristor-based artificial neurons and synapses has emerged as a compact and energy-efficient hardware solution for spatiotemporal information processing.However,it is challenging to develop memristive neurons and synapses based on the same material system because the required resistive switching(RS)characteristics are different.Here,it is shown that SrFeO_(x)(SFO),an intriguing material system exhibiting topotactic phase transformation between insulating brownmillerite(BM)SrFeO_(2).5 phase and conductive perovskite(PV)SrFeO_(3) phase,can be engineered into both neuronal and synaptic devices.Using a BM-SFO single layer as the RS medium,the Au/BM-SFO/SrRuO_(3)(SRO)memristor exhibits nonvolatile RS behavior originating from the formation/rupture of PV-SFO filaments in the BM-SFO matrix.By contrast,using a PV-SFO(matrix)/BM-SFO(interfacial layer)bilayer as the RS medium,the Au/PV-SFO/BM-SFO/SRO memristor exhibits volatile RS behavior originating from the interfacial BM-PV phase transformation.Synaptic and neuronal characteristics are further demonstrated in the Au/BM-SFO/SRO and Au/PV-SFO/BM-SFO/SRO memristors,respectively.Using the SFO-based synapses and neurons,fully memristive SNNs are constructed by simulation,which show good performance on unsupervised image recognition.Our study suggests that SFO is a versatile material platform on which both neuronal and synaptic devices can be developed for constructing fully memristive SNNs.Kaihui Chen Zhen Fan Jingjing Rao Wenjie Li Deming Wang Changjian Li Gaokuo Zhong Ruiqiang Tao Guo Tian Minghui Qin Min Zeng Xubing Lu Guofu Zhou Xingsen Gao Jun-Ming Liu 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,5:0
20Experimental search for high-performance ferroelectric tunnel junctions guided by machine learning显示文摘Ferroelectric tunnel junction(FTJ)has attracted considerable attention for its potential applications in nonvolatile memory and neuromorphic computing.However,the experimental exploration of FTJs with high ON/OFF ratios is a challenging task due to the vast search space comprising of ferroelectric and electrode materials,fabrication methods and conditions and so on.Here,machine learning(ML)is demonstrated to be an effective tool to guide the experimental search of FTJs with high ON/OFF ratios.A dataset consisting of 152 FTJ samples with nine features and one target attribute(i.e.,ON/OFF ratio)is established for ML modeling.Among various ML models,the gradient boosting classification model achieves the highest prediction accuracy.Combining the feature importance analysis based on this model with the association rule mining,it is extracted that the utilizations of{graphene/graphite(Gra)(top),LaNiO_(3)(LNO)(bottom)}and{Gra(top),Ca_(0.96)Ce_(0.04)MnO_(3)(CCMO)(bottom)}electrode pairs are likely to result in high ON/OFF ratios in FTJs.Moreover,two previously unexplored FTJs:Gra/BaTiO_(3)(BTO)/LNO and Gra/BTO/CCMO,are predicted to achieve ON/OFF ratios higher than 1000.Guided by the ML predictions,the Gra/BTO/LNO and Gra/BTO/CCMO FTJs are experimentally fabricated,which unsurprisingly exhibit≥1000 ON/OFF ratios(~8540 and~7890,respectively).This study demonstrates a new paradigm of developing high-performance FTJs by using ML.Jingjing Rao Zhen Fan Qicheng Huang Yongjian Luo Xingmin Zhang Haizhong Guo Xiaobing Yan Guo Tian Deyang Chen Zhipeng Hou Minghui Qin Min Zeng Xubing Lu Guofu Zhou Xingsen Gao Jun-Ming Liu 2022Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2022,12,3:0
