Synthesis of vertically aligned carbon nanotube arrays on silicon substrates显示文摘The growth of well-aligned carbon nanotube (CNT) arrays using a heat chemical vapor deposition system on silicon substrates is reported. The growth properties of CNT arrays are studied as a function of synthesis conditions. It is found that 750℃ and 10 nm Fe film are suitable conditions for the growth of well-aligned CNT arrays. CNT arrays with a uniform diameter, thick tube wall and firm cohesion to the Si substrate can be grown for C2H2 concentration of 27%. Based on the experiment, the processes of improving the alignment of CNT arrays and cohesion between CNT arrays and Si substrates are discussed.ZHENG Ruiting1, CHENG Guoan1, PENG Yibin1, 2, ZHAO Yong1, 3, LIU Huaping1 & LIANG Changlin1 1. 3Influence of Zn ion implantation on structures and field emission properties of multi-walled carbon nanotube arrays显示文摘The structures and field emission properties of multi-walled carbon nanotube arrays implanted with Zn+ by MEVVA ion implanter have been investigated. The results revealed that Zn+implantation induced structural damage and that the top of carbon nanotubes with multi-layered graphite structure were transformed into carbon nanowires with amorphous structure.Meanwhile,C:Zn solid solution was synthesized after Zn+ implantation. The turn-on field and threshold field were 0.80 and 1.31 V/μm,respectively for original multi-walled carbon nanotube arrays and were reduced to 0.66 and 1.04 V/μm due to the synthesis of C and Zn composite,in which the work function was reduced after low doses of Zn+implantation. It is indicated that low doses of Zn+implantation can improve field emission performance of multi-walled carbon nanotube arrays.Otherwise, high doses of Zn+implantation can reduce field emission properties of multi-walled carbon nanotube arrays, because radiation damage reduces the electric field enhancement factor.CHEN KeFan,DENG JianHua,ZHAO Fei,CHENG GuoAn &ZHENG RuiTing Key Laboratory of Beam Technology and Material Modification of Ministry of Education,College of Nuclear Science and Technology,Beijing Normal University,Beijing100875,China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,3:1
A near-complete genome assembly of the allotetrapolyploid Cenchrus fungigraminus(JUJUNCAO)provides insights into its evolution and C4 photosynthesis显示文摘JUJUNCAO(Cenchrus fungigraminus;2n=4x=28)is a Cenchrus grass with the highest biomass production among cultivated plants, and it can be used for mushroom cultivation, animal feed, and biofuel production. Here,we report a nearly complete genome assembly of JUJUNCAO and reveal that JUJUNCAO is an allopolyploid that originated2.7 million years ago(mya). Its genome consists of two subgenomes, and subgenome A shares high collinear synteny with pearl millet. We also investigated the genome evolution of JUJUNCAO and suggest that the ancestral karyotype of Cenchrus split into the A and B ancestral karyotypes of JUJUNCAO.Comparative transcriptome and DNA methylome analyses revealed functional divergence of homeologous gene pairs between the two subgenomes, which was a further indication of asymmetric DNA methylation. The three types of centromeric repeat in the JUJUNCAO genome(CEN137,CEN148,and CEN156)may have evolved independently within each subgenome, with some introgressions of CEN156 from the B to the A subgenome. We investigated the photosynthetic characteristics of JUJUNCAO,revealing its typical C4 Kranz anatomy and high photosynthetic efficiency.NADP-ME and PEPCK appear to cooperate in the major C4 decarboxylation reaction of JUJUNCAO,which is different from other C4 photosynthetic subtypes and may contribute to its high photosynthetic efficiency and biomass yield.Taken together, our results provide insights into the highly efficient photosynthetic mechanism of JUJUNCAO and provide a valuable reference genome for future genetic and evolutionary studies,as well as genetic improvement of Cenchrus grasses.Huakun Zheng Baiyu Wang Xiuting Hua Ruiting Gao Yuhao Wang Zixin Zhang Yixing Zhang Jing Mei Yongji Huang Yumin Huang Hui Lin Xingtan Zhang Dongmei Lin Siren Lan Zhongjian Liu Guodong Lu Zonghua Wang Ray Ming Jisen Zhang Zhanxi Lin 2023Plant Communications2023,4,5:1
Promoting the protonation step on the interface of titanium dioxide for selective photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2)to CH_(4)by using red phosphorus quantum dots显示文摘Enhancing the selectivity of hydrocarbon in CO_(2)is a great challenge.Herein, taking widely-used and highly-stable TiO_(2)as an example,we found that the protonation step, the key step for CH_(4)production,can change from endoergic to exoergic by using red phosphorus quantum dots.Consequently, the main product in CO_(2)reduction can be shifted from CO into CH_(4).The preparation method is very simple, which just ultrasonically treating the red P in the presence of TiO_(2).With an initial rate of CH_(4)production of 4.69μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1),under simulated solar light,it manifests a significant 49.4-fold enhancement of CH_(4)yield over TiO_(2).Density functional calculation indicates that the red P optimizes the surface electronic structure. The Gibbs free energy for CHO^(*)formation(^(-1).12 eV)becomes lower than the desorption energy of the CO(-0.01 eV)when red P is introduced. This indicates that the CO intermediates on the surface are rapidly protonated to produce CHO^(*).Subsequently, the CHO^(*)will be converted into CH_(4)instead of being desorbed from the surface to produce CO.This study demonstrates that red P quantum dot is a promising candidate for the development of efficient photocatalyst for CO_(2)photoreduction to CH_(4)under solar light irradiation.Yinglong Lu Minghao Liu Ningchao Zheng Xi He Ruiting Hu Ruilin Wang Quan Zhou Zhuofeng Hu 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1
Tunable oxygen defect density and location for enhancement of energy storage显示文摘Defect engineering is in the limelight for the fabrication of electrochemical energy storage devices. However, determining the influence of the defect density and location on the electrochemical behavior remains challenging.Herein,self-organized TiO_(2)nanotube arrays(TNTAs)are synthesized by anodization, and their oxygen defect location and density are tuned by a controllable post-annealing process.TNTAs annealed at 600℃ in N2 exhibit the highest capacity(289.2 m Ah g^(-1)at 0.8 C)for lithium-ion storage, while those annealed at 900℃ in N2 show a specific capacitance of 35.6 m F cm^(-2)and stability above96%after 10,000 cycles for supercapacitor.Ex situ electron paramagnetic resonance spectra show that the surface-exposed oxygen defects increase, but the bulk embedded oxygen defects decrease with increasing annealing temperature.Density functional theory simulations reveal that a higher density of bulk oxygen defects corresponds to higher localized electrons states, which upshift the Fermi level and facilitate the lithium intercalation kinetic process.Meanwhile, differential charge density calculation indicates that the increase of surface oxygen defects in the anatase(101)plane leads to higher density excess electrons, which act as negative charge centers to enhance the surface potential for ion adsorption. This oxygen-deficient location and density tunable strategy introduce new opportunities for high-energy and high-power-density energy storage systems.Jun Chen Jiangao Li Ling Sun Zhong Lin Zhengguang Hu Hongtao Zhang Xiaoling Wu Dongbo Zhang Guoan Cheng Ruiting Zheng 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,8:0
Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment.Angel Abusleme Thomas Adam Shakeel Ahmad Sebastiano Aiello Muhammad Akram Nawab Ali Fengpeng An Guangpeng An Qi An Giuseppe Andronico Nikolay Anfimov Vito Antonelli Tatiana Antoshkina Burin 8Power Grid Fault Diagnosis Based on Deep Pyramid Convolutional Neural Network显示文摘Existing power grid fault diagnosis methods relyon manual experience to design diagnosis models, lack theability to extract fault knowledge, and are difficult to adaptto complex and changeable engineering sites. Considering thissituation, this paper proposes a power grid fault diagnosismethod based on a deep pyramid convolutional neural networkfor the alarm information set. This approach uses the deepfeature extraction ability of the network to extract fault featureknowledge from alarm information texts and achieve end-to-endfault classification and fault device identification. First, a deeppyramid convolutional neural network model for extracting theoverall characteristics of fault events is constructed to identifyfault types. Second, a deep pyramidal convolutional neuralnetwork model for alarm information text is constructed, thetext description characteristics associated with alarm informationtexts are extracted, the key information corresponding to faultsin the alarm information set is identified, and suspicious faultydevices are selected. Then, a fault device identification strategythat integrates fault-type and time sequence priorities is proposedto identify faulty devices. Finally, the actual fault cases and thefault cases generated by the simulation are studied, and theresults verify the effectiveness and practicability of the methodpresented in this paper.Xu Zhang Huiting Zhang Dongying Zhang Yixian Wang Ruiting Ding Yuchuan Zheng Yongxu Zhang 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,6:0
