Controllable photodynamic performance via an acidic microenvironment based on two-dimensional metal-organic frameworks for photodynamic therapy显示文摘Photodynamic therapy(PDT)is a widely-used technology for cancer therapy, but conventional photosensitizers still face some drawbacks, such as hydrophobicity, inadequate pharmacokinetics, low cell/tissue specificity, and uncontrollable photodynamic performance during the therapeutic process.Herein,we present a controllable photodynamic performance based on two-dimensional metal-organic frameworks(2D Zn-TCPP MOF)that displayed a week PDT effect under a neutral environment upon exposure to a 660 nm laser due to the degeneracy of Q bands of TCPP.However, the 2D Zn-TCPP MOF showed a significantly enhanced PDT effect in an acidic environment under irradiation with a 660 nm laser due to the released TCPP from decomposed MOF structure. From the in vitro outcomes, the 2D Zn-TCPP MOF showed controllable photodynamic performance from neutral to acidic environments.Due to the acidic tumor microenvironment, the 2D Zn-TCPP MOF presented the strongest antitumor effect in vivo under irradiation with a 660 nm laser. This work offers a promising strategy to develop a next-generation photosensitizer. | Lifeng Hang Tao Zhang Hua Wen Lianbao Liang Wuming Li Xiaofen Ma Guihua Jiang | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,3: | 4
Quantum information and many body physics with cold atoms显示文摘We review our recent theoretical advances in quantum information and many body physics with cold atoms in various external potential, such as harmonic potential, kagome optical lattice, triangular optical lattice, and honeycomb lattice. The many body physics of cold atom in harmonic potential is investigated in the frame of mean-field Gross-Pitaevskii equation. Then the quantum phase transition and strongly correlated effect of cold atoms in triangular optical lattice, and the interacting Dirac fermions on honeycomb lattice, are investigated by using cluster dynamical mean-field theory and continuous time quantum Monte Carlo method. We also study the quantum spin Hall effect in the kagome optical lattice. | ZHANG XiaoFei CHEN YaoHua LIU GuoCai WU Wei WEN Lin LIU WuMing | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,16: | 4
Quantification of occlusions influencing the tree stem curve retrieving from single-scan terrestrial laser scanning data显示文摘Background: The stem curve of standing trees is an essential parameter for accurate estimation of stem volume. This study aims to directly quantify the occlusions within the single-scan terrestrial laser scanning(TLS) data, evaluate its correlation with the accuracy of the retrieved stem curves, and subsequently, to assess the capacity of single-scan TLS to estimate stem curves. Methods: We proposed an index, occlusion rate, to quantify the occlusion level in TLS data. We then analyzed three influencing factors for the occlusion rate: the percentage of basal area near the scanning center, the scanning distance and the source of occlusions. Finally, we evaluated the effects of occlusions on stem curve estimates from single-scan TLS data. Results: The results showed that the correlations between the occlusion rate and the stem curve estimation accuracies were strong(r = 0.60–0.83), so was the correlations between the occlusion rate and its influencing factors(r = 0.84–0.99). It also showed that the occlusions from tree stems were the main factor of the low detection rate of stems, while the non-stem components mainly influenced the completeness of the retrieved stem curves. Conclusions: Our study demonstrates that the occlusions significantly affect the accuracy of stem curve retrieval from the single-scan TLS data in a typical-size(32 m × 32 m) forest plot. However, the single-scan mode has the capacity to accurately estimate the stem curve in a small forest plot(< 10 m × 10 m) or a plot with a lower occlusion rate, such as less than 35% in our tested datasets. The findings from this study are useful for guiding the practice of retrieving forest parameters using single-scan TLS data. | Peng Wan Tiejun Wang Wuming Zhang Xinlian Liang Andrew K.Skidmore Guangjian Yan | 2019 | Forest Ecosystems2019,6,4: | 2
Determination of Omethoateby Cathodically SweepingOscillopolarography显示文摘Determination of omethoate by cathodically sweeping oscillopolarography is described. The product of the alkaline hydrolysis exhibited a sensitive second derivative wave at-0.50 V(vs. SCE) in a 1. 0×10-5mol/L sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS) + 0. 1 mol/L HAc-NaAc (pH 4. 0) buffer. The peak current was linearly proportional to the concentration of omethoate in the range from 6. 4 ×10-7 to 5. 1 ×10-5mol/L. The detection limit is 2. 0 ×10-7mol/L with the relative standard derivation (RSD) of 3. 5 %. The hydrolysis procedure and the electrode reaction were studied by voltammetry. | Wang Yu Sun Yuansi Huang Junhua Zhang Wuming Zhou Xingyao(College of Chemistry, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430072,China) | 1998 | Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences1998,3,4: | 2

Cloth simulation-based construction of pitfree canopy height models from airborne LiDAR data显示文摘Background:The universal occurrence of randomly distributed dark holes(i.e.,data pits appearing within the tree crown)in LiDAR-derived canopy height models(CHMs)negatively affects the accuracy of extracted forest inventory parameters. Methods:We develop an algorithm based on cloth simulation for constructing a pit-free CHM.Results:The proposed algorithm effectively fills data pits of various sizes whilst preserving canopy details. Our pitfree CHMs derived from point clouds at different proportions of data pits are remarkably better than those constructed using other algorithms,as evidenced by the lowest average root mean square error(0.4981 m)between the reference CHMs and the constructed pit-free CHMs.Moreover, our pit-free CHMs show the best performance overall in terms of maximum tree height estimation(average bias=0.9674 m).Conclusion:The proposed algorithm can be adopted when working with different quality LiDAR data and shows high potential in forestry applications. | Wuming Zhang Shangshu Cai Xinlian Liang Jie Shao Ronghai Hu Sisi Yu Guangjian Yan | 2020 | Forest Ecosystems2020,7,1: | 1

Feasibility and physics potential of detecting ^(8)B solar neutrinos at JUNO显示文摘The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory(JUNO)features a 20 kt multi-purpose underground liquid scintillator sphere as its main detector. Some of JUNO's features make it an excellent location for^8B solar neutrino measurements, such as its low-energy threshold, high energy resolution compared with water Cherenkov detectors, and much larger target mass compared with previous liquid scintillator detectors. In this paper,we present a comprehensive assessment of JUNO's potential for detecting^8B solar neutrinos via the neutrino-electron elastic scattering process.A reduced 2 MeV threshold for the recoil electron energy is found to be achievable, assuming that the intrinsic radioactive background^(238)U and^(232)Th in the liquid scintillator can be controlled to 10^(-17)g/g.With ten years of data acquisition, approximately 60,000 signal and 30,000 background events are expected. This large sample will enable an examination of the distortion of the recoil electron spectrum that is dominated by the neutrino flavor transformation in the dense solar matter, which will shed new light on the inconsistency between the measured electron spectra and the predictions of the standard three-flavor neutrino oscillation framework.IfDelta m^(2)_(21)=4.8times10^(-5);(7.5times10^(-5))eV^(2),JUNO can provide evidence of neutrino oscillation in the Earth at approximately the 3sigma(2sigma)level by measuring the non-zero signal rate variation with respect to the solar zenith angle. Moreover,JUNO can simultaneously measureDelta m^2_(21)using^8B solar neutrinos to a precision of 20% or better, depending on the central value, and to sub-percent precision using reactor antineutrinos.A comparison of these two measurements from the same detector will help understand the current mild inconsistency between the value of Delta m^2_(21)reported by solar neutrino experiments and the KamLAND experiment. | 12 | Energetic,bio-oil,biochar,and ash performances of co-pyrolysis-gasification of textile dyeing sludge and Chinese medicine residues in response to K_(2)CO_(3),atmosphere type, blend ratio, and temperature显示文摘Hazardous waste stream needs to be managed so as not to exceed stock-and rate-limited properties of its recipient ecosystems. The co-pyrolysis of Chinese medicine residue(CMR)and textile dyeing sludge(TDS)and its bio-oil,biochar,and ash quality and quantity were characterized as a function of the immersion of K_(2)CO_(3),atmosphere type, blend ratio, and temperature.Compared to the mono-pyrolysis of TDS,its co-pyrolysis performance with CMR(the comprehensive performance index(CPI))significantly improved by 33.9%in the N_(2)atmosphere and 33.2%in the CO_(2)atmosphere.The impregnation catalyzed the co-pyrolysis at 370℃,reduced its activation energy by 77.3 kJ/mol in the N_(2)atmosphere and 134.6 kJ/mol in the CO_(2)atmosphere,and enriched the degree of coke gasification by 44.25%in the CO_(2)atmosphere.The impregnation increased the decomposition rate of the co-pyrolysis by weakening the bond energy of fatty side chains and bridge bonds, its catalytic and secondary products, and its bio-oil yield by 66.19%.Its bio-oils mainly contained olefins, aromatic structural substances, and alcohols. The immersion of K_(2)CO_(3)improved the aromaticity of the copyrolytic biochars and reduced the contact between K and Si which made it convenient for Mg to react with SiO_(2)to form magnesium-silicate.The co-pyrolytic biochar surfaces mainly included-OH,-CH_(2),C=C,and Si-O-Si.The main phases in the co-pyrolytic ash included Ca_(5)(PO_(4))_(3)(OH),Al_(2)O_(3),and magnesium-silicate. | Gang Zhang Zhiyun Chen Tao Chen Shaojun Jiang Fatih Evrendilek Shengzheng Huang Xiaojie Tang Ziyi Ding Yao He Wuming Xie Jingyong Liu | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2: | 0
Improving the estimation of canopy cover from UAV-LiDAR data using a pit-free CHM-based method显示文摘Accurate and rapid estimation of canopy cover(CC)is crucial for many ecological and environmental models and for forest management.Unmanned aerial vehicle-light detecting and ranging(UAV-LiDAR)systems represent a promising tool for CC estimation due to their high mobility, low cost, and high point density. However, the CC values from UAV-LiDAR point clouds may be underestimated due to the presence of large quantities of within-crown gaps.To alleviate the negative effects of within-crown gaps,we proposed a pit-free CHM-based method for estimating CC,in which a cloth simulation method was used to fill the within-crown gaps.To evaluate the effect of CC values and withincrown gap proportions on the proposed method, the performance of the proposed method was tested on 18 samples with different CC values(40−70%)and 6 samples with different within-crown gap proportions(10−60%).The results showed that the CC accuracy of the proposed method was higher than that of the method without filling within-crown gaps(R^(2)=0.99 vs 0.98;RMSE=1.49%vs 2.2%).The proposed method was insensitive to within-crown gap proportions, although the CC accuracy decreased slightly with the increase in withincrown gap proportions. | Shangshu Cai Wuming Zhang Shuangna Jin Jie Shao Linyuan Li Sisi Yu Guangjian Yan | 2021 | International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,10: | 0
Building segmentation and modeling from airborne LiDAR data显示文摘Due to the high accuracy and fast acquisition speed offered by airborne Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR)technology, airborne LiDAR point clouds have been widely used in three-dimensional building model reconstruction. This paper presents a novel approach to segment building roofs from point clouds using a Gaussian mixture model in which buildings are represented by a mixture of Gaussians(MoG).The Expectation-Maximization(EM)algorithm with the minimum description length(MDL)principle is employed to obtain the optimal parameters of the MoG model for separating building roofs. To separate complete planar building roofs, coplanar Gaussian components are merged according to their distances to the corresponding planes. In addition, shape analysis is utilized to remove nonplanar objects caused by trees and irregular artifacts.Building models are obtained by combining segmented planar roofs, topological relationships, and regularized building boundaries.Roof intersection segments and points are derived by the segmentation results, and a rasterbased regularization method is employed to obtain geometrically correct and regular building models.Experimental results suggest that the segmentation method is able to separate building roofs with high accuracy while maintaining correct topological relationships among roofs. | Yong Xiao Cheng Wang Jing Li Wuming Zhang Xiaohuan Xi Changlin Wang Pinliang Dong | 2015 | International Journal of Digital Earth2015,8,9: | 0
Estimation of Larch Growth at the Stem,Crown, and Branch Levels Using Ground-Based LiDAR Point Cloud显示文摘Tree growth is an important indicator of forest health and can reflect changes in forest structure.Traditional tree growth estimates use easy-to-measure parameters, including tree height, diameter at breast height, and crown diameter, obtained via forest in situ measurements, which are labor intensive and time consuming. Some new technologies measure the diameter of trees at different positions to monitor the growth trend of trees, but it is difficult to take into account the growth changes at different tree levels. The combination of terrestrial laser scanning and quantitative structure modeling can accurately estimate tree structural parameters nondestructively and has the potential to estimate tree growth from different tree levels. In this context, this paper estimates tree growth from stem-,crown-,and branch-level attributes observed by terrestrial laser scanning.Specifically, tree height, diameter at breast height, stem volume, crown diameter, crown volume, and first-order branch volume were used to estimate the growth of 55-year-old larch trees in Saihanba of China,at the stem, crown, and branch levels. The experimental results showed that tree growth is mainly reflected in the growth of the crown,i.e.,the growth of branches.Compared to onedimensional parameter growth(tree height, diameter at breast height,or crown diameter),three-dimensional parameter growth(crown, stem, and first-order branch volumes)was more obvious,in which the absolute growth of the first-order branch volume is close to the stem volume. Thus,it is necessary to estimate tree growth at different levels for accurate forest inventory. | Shuangna Jin Wuming Zhang Jie Shao Peng Wan Shun Cheng Shangshu Cai Guangjian Yan Aiguang Li | 2022 | Journal of Remote Sensing2022,,1: | 0
