LGR5 is a promising biomarker for patients with stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ gastric cancer显示文摘Objective: To investigate Leucine-rich repeat-containing G protein-coupled receptor 5 (LGR5) expressions in gastric cancer and to evaluate its clinical significance. Methods: LGR5 expression was assessed by immunohistochemistry in 257 gastric cancer patients after surgery. The relationships between LGR5 expression and clinicopathological features and patients prognosis were statistically analyzed. Results: The expression of LGR5 was significantly higher in gastric cancers as a cancer stem cell marker than in adjacent normal tissues (P<0.001), and more frequently in patients with intestinal type, well-moderate differentiation and stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ (P<0.05). Although we found gastric cancer patients with LGR5 positive expression had a poorer prognosis, it didn't meet statistical significance (P>0.05). LGR5 negative expression was significantly related to the favorable overall survival in stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ gastric cancer patients (P<0.05). Furthermore, patients with high LGR5 expression tended to be more likely to get progression and have poorer progress-free survival (P<0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that LGR5 expression was an independent factor of overall survival for the patients with stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ gastric cancer (P<0.05). Conclusions: Our results show that LGR5 may play an important role in tumorigenesis and progression and would be a powerful marker to predict the prognosis of patients with stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ gastric cancer. | Zhaode Bu Zhixue Zheng Lianhai Zhang Ziyu Li Yu Sun Bin Dong Aiwen Wu Xiaojiang Wu Xiaohong Wang Xiaojing Cheng Xiaofang Xing Yingai Li Hong Du Jiafu Ji | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,1: | 17

Effect of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells on lung damage in severe COVID-19 patients:a randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled phase 2 trial显示文摘Treatment of severe Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)is challenging. We performed a phase 2 trial to assess the efficacy andsafety of human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells(UC-MScs)to treat severe coViD-19 patients with lung damage, based onour phase 1 data.In this randomized,double-blind,and placebo-controlled trial,we recruited 101 severe coVID-19 patients withlung damage. They were randomly assigned at a 2:1 ratio to receive either UC-MSCs(4×10^(7)cells per infusion)or placebo on day 0,3,and 6.The primary endpoint was an altered proportion of whole lung lesion volumes from baseline to day 28.Other imagingoutcomes,6-minute walk test(6-MWT),maximum vital capacity, diffusing capacity, and adverse events were recorded and analyzed. In all,100 COVID-19 patients were finally received either UC-MSCs in=65)or placebo(n=35).UC-MSCs administrationexerted numerical improvement in whole lung lesion volume from baseline to day 28 compared with the placebo(the mediandifference was-13.31%,95%Cl-29.14%,2.13%,P=0.08).UC-MSCs significanty reduced the proportions of solid componentlesion volume compared with the placebo(median difference:-15.45%;95%CI-30.82%,-0.39%;P=0.043).The 6-MWT showedan increased distance in patients treated with UC-MSCs(difference:27.00 m;95%CI 0.00,57.00;P=0.057).The incidence of adverseevents was similar in the two groups. These results suggest that UC-MSCs treatment is a safe and potentially effective therapeuticapproach for COVID-19 patients with lung damage.A phase 3 trial is required to evaluate effects on reducing mortality andpreventing long-term pulmonary disability. | Lei Shi Hai Huang Xuechun Lu Xiaoyan Yan Xiaojing Jiang Ruonan Xu Siyu Wang Chao Zhang Xin Yuan Zhe Xu Lei Huang Jun-Liang Fu Yuanyuan Li Yu Zhang Wei-Qi Yao Tianyi Liu Jinwen Song Liangliang Sun Fan Yang Xin Zhang Bo Zhang Ming Shi Fanping Meng Yanning Song Yongpei Yu Jiqiu Wen Qi Li Qing Mao Markus Maeurer Alimuddin Zumla Chen Yao Wei-Fen Xie Fu-Sheng Wang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,3: | 13

Underlying mechanism of protection from hypoxic injury seen with n-butanol extract of Potentilla anserine L. in hippocampal neurons显示文摘The alcohol and n-butanol extract of Potentilla anserine L. significantly protects myocardium from acute ischemic injury. However, its effects on rat hippocampal neurons and the mechanism of protection remain unclear. In this study, primary cultured hippocampal neurons from neonatal rats were incubated in 95% N2 and 5% CO2 for 4 hours. Results indicated that hypoxic injury decreased the viability of neurons, increased the expression levels of caspase-9 and caspase-3 mRNA, as well as cytochrome c, Caspase-9, and Caspase-3 protein. Pretreatment with 0.25, 0.062 5, 0.015 6 mg/mL n-butanol extract of Potentilla anserine L. led to a significant increase in cell viability. Expression levels of caspase-9 and caspase-3 mRNA, as well as cytochrome c, Caspase-9, and Caspase-3 protein, were attenuated. The neuroprotective effect of n-butanol extract of Potentilla anserine L. was equivalent to tanshinone IIA. Our data suggest that the n-butanol extract of Potentilla anserine L. could protect primary hippocampal neurons from hypoxic injury by deactivating mitochondrial cell death. | Xiaojing Qin Lingzhi Li Qi Lv Baoguo Yu ShuwangYang Tao He Yongliang Zhang | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,33: | 11
The Asian Subtropical Westerly Jet Stream in CRA-40, ERA5, and CFSR Reanalysis Data:Comparative Assessment显示文摘The Asian subtropical westerly jet(AWJ) exerts crucial influences on Eurasian continent weather and climate. This paper analyzes the advantages and limitations of CRA-40, which is China's first generation 40-yr(1979–2018) global atmosphere and land reanalysis product, in describing the characteristics of AWJ, compared with the ECMWF Reanalysis version 5(ERA5) and NCEP Climate Forecast System Reanalysis(CFSR). The results show a close agreement across the three reanalyses on the whole.(1) In terms of climatology, overall differences of 200-h Pa zonal wind across the three reanalyses are within ± 0.5 m s^(-1)(i.e., ± 2%). Large differences with maxima of ± 2 m s^(-1)(±5%) appear over the Iranian Plateau and south of the Tibetan Plateau in the mid–upper troposphere in winter.(2) For seasonal cycle, the position and intensity of the AWJ centers in the three reanalyses are highly consistent, with correlation coefficient over 0.98. But there are some discrepancies in the zonal shift of the western AWJ center during the transition season.(3) On the interannual timescale, intensity of all AWJ centers varies consistently among the three reanalyses, while larger differences appear in their meridional displacement, especially in the eastern AWJ center.(4)For long-term variations, the three reanalyses all present a significant northward movement of the westerly jet axis in winter, and a southward displacement over central Asia(40°–80°E) and a northward migration over East Asia(80°–110°E) in summer. Thus, this study has provided confidence that CRA-40 has comparable performance with ERA5 and CFSR in depicting the characteristics of AWJ. | Xiaojing YU Lixia ZHANG Tianjun ZHOU Jingwei LIU | 2021 | Journal of Meteorological Research2021,35,1: | 10
Analysis of factors influencing moxibustion efficacy by affecting heat-activated transient receptor potential vanilloid channels显示文摘Moxibustion is an important component part of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).Among different kinds of moxibustion methods, thermal stimulation seems to be a pivotal impact factor to the theraputic efficacy.Based on its thermal characteristic and treated area-skin,we hypothesize that the thermosensitive TRPV channels may involve in the mechanism of moxibustion. This study,by referring to various experimental and clinical data, analyzes the properties and features of transient receptor potential vanilloid(TRPV)subfamily 1-4 and the impact of moxibustion on these channels. The factors impacting the efficacy of moxibustion treatment were analyzed on three levels:the independent ba-sic factors of moxibustion(temperature, space and time);moxibustion intensity(a compound factor achieved through comprehensive control of the three individual basic factors mentioned above);and moxibustion quantity(the amount of temperature stimulation applied within a certain unit of time, including the total amount of moxibustion treatment). The results from present study show that the effect of moxibustion therapy appears to be determined by the activation of TRPV1-4,mainly TRPV1 and TRPV2.Temperature(the degree of heat stimulation),time and area(how long the treatment lasts and how many TRPV1-4 channels are activated)affect the intensity of moxibustion treatment to form effective moxibustion quantity;this should be considered in clinical moxibustion application. | Jiang Jinfeng Wang Xinjun Wu Xiaojing Yu Zhi | 2016 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2: | 7
Efficient and stable planar all-inorganic perovskite solar cells based on high-quality CsPbBr3 films with controllable morphology显示文摘All-inorganic cesium lead bromide(CsPbBr3)perovskite is attracting growing interest as functional materials in photovoltaics and other optoelectronic devices due to its superb stability. However, the fabrication of high-quality CsPbBr3 films still remains a big challenge by solution-process because of the low solubility of the cesium precursor in common solvents.Herein,we report a facile solution-processed approach to prepare high-quality CsPbBr3 perovskite films via a two-step spin-coating method,in which the Cs Br methanol/H2 O mixed solvent solution is spin-coated onto the lead bromide films, followed by an isopropanol-assisted post-treatment to regulate the crystallization process and to control the film morphology. In this fashion, dense and uniform CsPbBr3 films are obtained consisting of large crystalline domains with sizes up to microns and low defect density. The effectiveness of the resulting CsPbBr3 films is further examined in perovskite solar cells(PSCs)with a simplified planar architecture of fluorine–doped tin oxide/compact Ti O2/CsPbBr3/carbon,which deliver a maximum power conversion efficiency of 8.11%together with excellent thermal and humidity stability. The present work offers a simple and effective strategy in fabrication of high-quality CsPbBr3 films for efficient and stable PSCs as well as other optoelectronic devices. | Xiaojing Wan Ze Yu Wenming Tian Fuzhi Huang Shengye Jin Xichuan Yang Yi-Bing Cheng Anders Hagfeldt Licheng Sun | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7: | 6

He–Ar Isotopic Tracing of Pyrite from Ore-forming Fluids of the Sanshandao Au Deposit, Jiaodong Area显示文摘The Sanshandao Au deposit is located in the famous Sanshandao metallogenic belt,Jiaodong area.To date, accumulative Au resources of 1000 t have been identified from the belt.Sanshandao is a world-class gold deposit with Au mineralization hosted in Early Cretaceous Guojialing-type granites. Thus, studies on the genesis and ore-forming element sources of the Sanshandao Au deposit are crucial. He and Ar isotopic analyses of fluid inclusions from pyrite(the carrier of Au)indicate that the fluid inclusions have 3 He/4 He=0.043–0.21 Ra with an average of 0.096 Ra and 40 Ar/36 Ar=488–664 with an average of 570.8.These values represent the initial He and Ar isotopic compositions of ore-forming fluids for trapped fluid inclusions. The comparison of H–O isotopic characteristics combined with deposit geology and wall rock alteration reveals that the ore-forming fluids of the Sanshandao Au deposit show mixed crust–mantle origin characteristics, and they mainly comprise crust-derived fluid mixed with minor mantle-derived fluid and meteoric water during the uprising process. The ore-forming elements were generally sourced from pre-Cambrian meta-basement rocks formed by Mesozoic reactivation and mixed with minor shallow crustal and mantle components. | HAN Zhenyu YU Xiaowei LI Shoujun Tian Jingxiang WANG Zhongliang YU Xiaojing WANG Ligong | 2019 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,6: | 5
Numerical analysis of thermal-hydraulic behavior of supercritical water in vertical upward/downward flow channels显示文摘Investigations on the thermal-hydraulic behavior in the SCWR fuel assembly have obtained a significant attention in the international SCWR community. However, there is still a lack of understanding of the heat transfer behavior of supercritical fluids. In this paper, the numerical analysis is carried out to study the thermal-hydraulic behaviour in vertical sub-channels cooled by supercritical water. Remarkable differences in characteristics of secondary flow are found, especially in square lattice, between the upward flow and downward flow. The turbulence mixing across sub-channel gap for downward flow is much stronger than that for upward flow in wide lattice when the bulk temperature is lower than pseudo-critical point temperature. For downward flow, heat transfer deterioration phenomenon is suppressed with respect to the case of upward flow at the same conditions. | GU Hanyang YU Yiqi CHENG Xu LIU Xiaojing | 2008 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2008,19,3: | 5
Remote Sensing Retrieval of Surface Suspended Sediment Concentration in the Yellow River Estuary显示文摘Accurate assessment of surface suspended sediment concentration(SSSC) in estuary is essential to address several important issues: erosion, water pollution, human health risks, etc. In this study, an empirical cubic retrieval model was developed for the retrieval of SSSC from Yellow River Estuary. Based on sediments and seawater collected from the Yellow River and southeastern Laizhou Bay, SSSC conditions were reproduced in the laboratory at increasing concentrations within a range common to field observations. Continuous spectrum measurements of the various SSSCs ranging from 1 to 5700 mg/l were carried out using an Ava Field-3 spectrometer. The results indicated the good correlation between water SSSC and spectral reflectance(Rrs) was obtained in the spectral range of 726–900 nm. At SSSC greater than 2700 mg/L, the 740–900 nm spectral range was less susceptible to the effects of spectral reflectance saturation and more suitable for retrieval of high sediment concentrations. The best correlations were obtained for the reflectance ratio of 820 nm to 490 nm. Informed by the correlation between Rrs and SSSC, a retrieval model was developed(R2 = 0.992). The novel cubic model, which used the ratio of a near-infrared(NIR) band(740–900 nm) to a visible band(400–600 nm) as factors, provided robust quantification of high SSSC water samples. Two high SSSC centers, with an order of 103 mg/l, were found in the inversion results around the abandoned Diaokou River mouth, the present Yellow River mouth to the abandoned Qingshuigou River mouth. There was little sediment exchange between the two high SSSC centers due to the directions of the residual currents and vertical mixing. | ZHAN Chao YU Junbao WANG Qing LI Yunzhao ZHOU Di XING Qinghui CHU Xiaojing | 2017 | Chinese Geographical Science2017,27,6: | 5

Anisotropically Shaped Magnetic/Plasmonic Nanocomposites for Information Encryption and Magnetic-Field-Direction Sensing显示文摘Instantaneous control over the orientation of anisotropically shaped plasmonic nanostructures allows for selective excitation of plasmon modes and enables dynamic tuning of the plasmonic properties.Herein we report the synthesis of rod-shaped magnetic/plasmonic core-shell nanocomposite particles and demonstrate the active tuning of their optical property by manipulating their orientation using an external magnetic feld.We further design and construct an IR-photoelectric coupling system, which generates an output voltage depending on the extinction property of the measured nanocomposite sample. We employ the device to demonstrate that the nanocomposite particles can serve as units for information encryption when immobilized in a polymer flm and additionally when dispersed in solution can be employed as a new type of magnetic-feld-direction sensor. | Xiaojing Wang Ji Feng Huakang Yu Yue Jin Andrew Davidson Zhiyuan Li Yadong Yin | 2018 | Research2018,,1: | 4
NONLINEAR DYNAMICS OF LATERAL MICRO-RESONATOR INCLUDING VISCOUS AIR DAMPING显示文摘The nonlinear dynamics of the lateral micro-resonator including the air damping effect is researched. The air damping force is varied periodically during the resonator oscillating, and the air damp coefficient can not be fixed as a constant. Therefore the linear dynamic analysis which used the constant air damping coefficient can not describe the actual dynamic characteristics of the mi-cro-resonator. The nonlinear dynamic model including the air damping force is established. On the base of Navier-Stokes equation and nonlinear dynamical equation, a coupled fluid-solid numerical simulation method is developed and demonstrates that damping force is a vital factor in micro-comb structures. Compared with existing experimental result, the nonlinear numerical value has quite good agreement with it. The differences of the amplitudes (peak) between the experimental data and the results by the linear model and the nonlinear model are 74.5% and 6% respectively. Nonlinear nu-merical value is more exact than linear value and the method can be applied in other mi-cro-electro-mechanical systeme (MEMS) structures to simulate the dynamic performance. | GAO Rong WANG Xiaojing WANG Min YU Maohua XIE Mingchun | 2007 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2007,20,3: | 3
Spatial learning and memory deficits in young adult mice exposed to a brief intense noise at postnatal age显示文摘Noise pollution is a major hazardous factor to human health and is likely harmful for vulnerable groups such as pre-term infants under lifesupport system in an intensive care unit. Previous studies have suggested that noise exposure impairs children's learning ability and cognitive performance and cognitive functions in animal models in which the effect is mainly attributed to the oxidant stress of noise on the cognitive brain. The potential role of noise induced hearing loss(NIHL), rather than the oxidant stress, has also been indicated by a depression of neurogenesis in the hippocampus long after a brief noise exposure, which produces only a tentative oxidant stress. It is not clear if noise exposure and NIHL during early development exerts a long term impact on cognitive function and neurogenesis towards adulthood. In the present study, a brief noise exposure at high sound level was performed in neonatal C57BL/6J mice(15 days after birth) to produce a significant amount of permanent hearing loss as proved 2 months after the noise. At this age, the noise-exposed animals showed deteriorated spatial learning and memory abilities and a reduction of hippocampal neurogenesis as compared with the control. The averaged hearing threshold was found to be strongly correlated with the scores for spatial learning and memory. We consider the effects observed are largely due to the loss of hearing sensitivity, rather than the oxidant stress, due to the long interval between noise exposure and the observations. | Shan Tao Lijie Liu Lijuan Shi Xiaowei Li Pei Shen Qingying Xun Xiaojing Guo Zhiping Yu Jian Wang | 2015 | Journal of Otology2015,10,1: | 3
PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTORS Interact with the ABA Receptors PYL8 and PYL9 to Orchestrate ABA Signaling in Darkness显示文摘PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTORS(PIFs)are a group of basic helix-loop-helix transcription factors that can physically interact with photoreceptors, including phytochromes and cryptochromes. It was previously demonstrated that PIFs accumulated in darkness and repressed seedling photomorphogenesis, and that PIFs linked different photosensory and hormonal pathways to control plant growth and development. In this study,we show that PIFs positively regulate the ABA signaling pathway during the seedling stage specifically in darkness. We found that PIFs positively regulate ABI5 transcript and protein levels in darkness in response to exogenous ABA treatment by binding directly to the G-box motifs in the ABI5 promoter.Consistently,PIFs and the G-box motifs in the ABI5 promoter determine ABI5 expression in darkness, and overexpression of ABI5 could rescue the ABA-insensitive phenotypes of pifq mutants in the dark. Moreover,we discovered that PIFs can physically interact with the ABA receptors PYL8 and PYL9,and that this interaction is not regulated by ABA.Further analyses showed that PYL8 and PYL9 promote PIF4 protein accumulation in the dark and enhance PIF4 binding to the ABI5 promoter, but negatively regulate PIF4-mediated ABI5 activation.Taken together, our data demonstrate that PIFs interact with ABA receptors to orchestrate ABA signaling in darkness by controlling ABI5 expression, providing new insights into the pivotal roles of PIFs as signal integrators in regulating plant growth and development. | Lijuan Qi Shan Liu Cong Li Jingying Fu Yanjun Jing Jinkui Cheng Hong Li Dun Zhang Xiaoji Wang Xiaojing Dong Run Han Bosheng Li Yu Zhang Zhen Li William Terzaghi Chun-Peng Song Rongcheng Lin Zhizhong Gong Jigang Li | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,3: | 3

Characterization of the imprinting and expression patterns of ZAG2 in maize endosperm and embryo显示文摘ZAG2 has been identified as a maternally expressed imprinted gene in maize endosperm. Our study revealed that paternally inherited ZAG2 alleles were imprinted in maize endosperm and embryo at 14 days after pollination(DAP), and consistently imprinted in endosperm at 10, 12, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28 DAP in reciprocal crosses between B73 and Mo17. ZAG2 alleles were also imprinted in reciprocal crosses between Zheng 58 and Chang7-2 and between Huang C and 178. ZAG2 alleles exhibited differential imprinting in hybrids of 178 × Huang C and B73 × Mo17, while in other hybrids ZAG2 alleles exhibited binary imprinting. The tissue-specific expression pattern of ZAG2 showed that ZAG2 was expressed at a high level in immature ears, suggesting that ZAG2 plays important roles in not only kernel but ear development. | Chaoxian Liu Jiuguang Wang Xiupeng Mei Xiaojing Deng Tingting Yu Xiaoli Liu Guoqiang Wang Zhizhai Liu Yilin Cai | 2015 | The Crop Journal2015,3,1: | 3
