| 2 | Polymeric architectures of bismuth citrate based on dimeric building blocks显示文摘Four bismuth complexes, (H2En)[Bi2(cit)2(H2O)4/3]·(H2O)x (1), (H2En)3[Bi2(cit)2Cl4]·(H2O)x (2), (HPy)2[Bi2(cit)2(H2O)8/5]·(H2O)x (3) and (H2En)[Bi2(cit)2](H2O)x (4) [cit = citrate4-; En = ethylenediamine; Py = pyridine] have been synthesized and crystallized. The crystal structures reveal that the basic building blocks in all of these complexes are bismuth citrate dimeric units which combine to form polymeric architectures. The embedded protonated ethylenediamine and pyridine moieties in the polymeric frameworks have been identified by X-ray crystallography and solid-state cross polarization/magic angle spinning (CP/MAS) 13C NMR. Based on the framework of complex 1, a structural model of a clinically used antiulcer drug, ranitidine bismuth citrate (RBC) was generated. | 3 | A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. | 4 | Remediation of Cu and As contaminated water and soil utilizing biochar supported layered double hydroxide:Mechanisms and soil environment altering显示文摘Preparing materials for simultaneous remediation of anionic and cationic heavy metals contamination has always been the focus of research. Herein a biochar supported FeMnMg layered double hydroxide(LDH) composites(LB) for simultaneous remediation of copper and arsenic contamination in water and soil has been assembled by a facile co-precipitation approach. Both adsorption isotherm and kinetics studies of heavy metals removal by LB were applied to look into the adsorption performance of adsorbents in water. Moreover, the adsorption mechanisms of Cu and As by LB were investigated, showing that Cu in aqueous solution was removed by the isomorphic substitution, precipitation and electrostatic adsorption while As was removed by complexation. In addition, the availability of Cu and As in the soil incubation experiments was reduced by 35.54%–63.00% and 8.39%–29.04%, respectively by using LB. Meanwhile, the addition of LB increased the activities of urease and sucrase by 93.78%–374.35% and 84.35%–520.04%, respectively, of which 1% of the dosage was the best. A phenomenon was found that the richness and structure of microbial community became vigorous within 1% dosage of LB, which indirectly enhanced the passivation and stabilization of heavy metals. These results indicated that the soil environment was significantly improved by LB. | 5 | Comparative risk of acute kidney injury among cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors显示文摘With the development and introduction of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)in cancer patients,immune-related side effects have increasingly attracted attention.However,the risks of immune-related renal toxicity are poorly characterized.In this study,we performed a network meta-analysis(NMA)of ICI-related randomized clinical trials(RCTs)to elucidate the comparative risk of acute kidney injury(AKI)in cancer patients receiving different ICIs.We also sought to identify other factors potentially affecting the risk of AKI.PubMed and EMBASE were searched for peer-reviewed trial reports published between January 2000 and May 2021.Eligible studies were RCTs studying ICIs in cancer patients and reporting AKI data.We performed a frequentist NMA to evaluate the risk ratios for grade 1-5 and grade 3-5 AKI between the treatment groups.We also assessed the absolute incidence of AKI in the ICI-containing arm using traditional direct meta-analysis.Once significant heterogeneity was detected in a traditional direct meta-analysis,multivariable meta-regression analysis was applied to identify factors that significantly affected the absolute incidence of AKI.A total of 85 RCTs were included in this study.In the NMA for the risk of grade 1-5 and 3-5 AKI,ipilimumab showed a significantly higher risk than avelumab and durvalumab,whereas 1 mg/kg nivolumab plus 3 mg/kg ipilimumab(N1I3)showed a significantly higher risk than other groups.In terms of treatment ranking,durvalumab±low-dose tremelimumab and avelumab were consistently among the top three safest treatments for grade 1-5 or 3-5 AKI,whereas N1I3,ipilimumab and tremelimumab were consistently among the top three treatments with the highest risk for grade 1-5 or 3-5 AKI.Compared with other cancers,renal cell carcinoma and urothelial carcinoma showed a significantly higher risk of AKI.The incidence of AKI was significantly higher with ICI+chemotherapy than with ICI monotherapy.In this NMA involving largescale up-to-date ICI trials,we demonstrated the comparative safety of existing ICI drugs for grade 1-5 and grade 3-5 AKI.Based on data from the ICI arms of these trials,we also revealed several potential risk factors for immune-related AKI,including tumor type and treatment paradigm. | Fei Liu ZixianWang Xiaofan Li Zhen Zhang Yue Yang Junquan Chen Dinghua Chen Lingling Wu Xiangyu Liu Sujun Han Fangming Wang Wasilijiang Wahafu Yibo Gao Shancheng Ren Nianzeng Xing Guangyan Cai Xiangmei Chen | 2023 | Cancer Communications2023,43,2: | 1 |

A total of 21 kinds of pests and diseases were found on blueberry,including 10 kinds of diseases and 11 kinds of pests. Comprehensive analysis of pests and diseases and their damage degree revealed that pests and diseases causing severe damage were gray mold,scarab and fruit fly,while gray mold and fruit fly might seriously affect the export of blueberry. | 10 | Large scalable,ultrathin and self-cleaning cellulose aerogel film for daytime radiative cooling显示文摘Passive cooling strategy shows great potential in mitigating global warming and reducing energy consumption.Because of the high emissivity in the atmospheric transparency window(λ≈8–13μm),cellulose is considered as a good candidate for radiative cooling.However,traditional cellulose coolers generally show poor solar reflection and can be polluted by dust outside,thereby resulting in poor daytime cooling efficiency.To address these drawbacks,we developed sustainable cellulose nanowhiskers(CNWs)/ZnO composite aerogel films with favorable optical performance,mechanical robustness,and self-cleaning function for efficient daytime radiative cooling,which can be achieved via freeze casting and hot-pressing process.Due to formation of multi-level porous structure and chemical bonds(Si-O-C/Si-O-Si),such aerogel film exhibited high solar reflectance(97%)and high infrared emittance(92.5%).It achieved a sub-ambient temperature drop of 6.9℃under direct sunlight in hot weather.Most importantly,the surface roughness and low surface energy enable cellulose aerogel film hydrophobicity(contact angle=133°),thereby resulting in an anti-dust function.This work provides insight into the design of sustainable thermal regulating materials to realize carbon neutrality. | Chenyang Cai Yuanbo Sun Yi Chen Zechang Wei Yibo Wang Fuling Chen Wanquan Cai Jiawen Ji Yuxin Ji Yu Fu | 2023 | Journal of Bioresources and Bioproducts2023,8,4: | 0 |
