2Recent progress in engineering near-infrared persistent luminescence nanoprobes for time-resolved biosensing/bioimaging显示文摘Persistent luminescence nanoprobes (PLNPs) can remain luminescent after ceasing excitation.Due to the ultra-long decay time of persistent luminescence (PersL),autofluorescence interference can be efficiently eliminated by collecting PersL signal after autofluorescence decays completely,thus the imaging contrast and sensing sensitivity can be significantly improved.Since near-infrared (NIR) light shows reduced scattering and absorption coefficient in penetrating biological organs or tissues,near-infrared persistent luminescence nanoprobes (NIR PLNPs) possess deep tissue penetration and offer a bright prospect in the areas of in vivo biosensing/bioimaging.In this review,we firstly summarize the design of different types of NIR PLNPs for biosensing/bioimaging,such as transition metal ions-doped NIR PLNPs,lanthanide ions-doped NIR PLNPs,organic molecules-based NIR PLNPs,and semiconducting polymer self-assembled NIR PLNPs.Notably,organic molecules-based NIR PLNPs and semiconductor self-assembled NIR PLNPs,for the first time,were introduced to the review of PLNPs.Secondly,the effects of different types of charge carriers on NIR PersL and luminescence decay of NIR PLNPs are significantly emphasized so as to build up an in-depth understanding of their luminescence mechanism.It includes the regulation of valence band and conduction band of different host materials,alteration of defect types,depth and concentration changes caused by ion doping,effective radiation transitions and energy transfer generated by different luminescence centers.Given the design and potential of NIR PLNPs as long-lived luminescent materials,the current challenges and future perspective in this rapidly growing field are also discussed.Ling Liang Na Chen Yiyi Jia Qinqin Ma Jie Wang Quan Yuan Weihong Tan 2019Nano Research2019,12,6:11
3Modeling of Filling and Solidification Process for TiAl Exhaust Valves During Suction Casting显示文摘Investment and suction casting (ISC) represents an economic and promising process route to fabricate automotive exhaust valves of γ-TiAl based alloys, but information available on the metal flow and the temperature changes during mould filling and solidification process for the ISC process is meager. A sequentially coupled mathematical flow-thermal model, based on the commercial finite-volume/finite-difference code FLOW-3D and the finite-element code PROCAST, has been developed to investigate the ISC process. In term of calculating the flow and temperature fields during the filling and solidification stages, potential defects including the gas bubbles and the surface air entrainment occurred in the mould filling process and the shrinkage porosities formed in the solidification process are predicted and the reasons for the formation of these defects are also analyzed. The effects of filling pressure difference control methods and moulds on gas bubble and surface air entrainment behavior are presented. It is found that by changing the filling pressure difference control methods from general suction casting to 'air leakage' suction casting and reducing air leakage flow rates, the gas bubbles are eliminated effectively, and the surface air entrainment attenuate dramatically. With resort to a mould with a tetragonal runner, the surface air entrainment decrease to the lowest level. 4Vacancy formation enthalpies of high-entropy FeCoCrNi alloy via first-principles calculations and possible implications to its superior radiation tolerance显示文摘Because atoms in high-entropy alloys(HEAs) coordinate in very different and distorted local environments in the lattice sites, even for the same type of constituent, their point defects could highly vary.Therefore, theoretical determination of the thermodynamic quantities(i.e., defect formation enthalpies)of various point defects is rather challenging because each corresponding thermodynamic quantity of all involve constituents is not unique. The knowledge of these thermodynamic quantities is prerequisite for designing novel HEAs and understanding the mechanical and physical behaviors of HEAs. However,to date there has not been a good method to theoretically derive the defect formation enthalpies of HEAs. Here, using first-principles calculations within the density functional theory(DFT) in combination of special quasi-random structure models(SQSs), we have developed a general method to derive corresponding formation enthalpies of point defects in HEAs, using vacancy formation enthalpies of a four-component equiatomic fcc-type FeCoCrNi HEA as prototypical and benchmark examples. In difference from traditional ordered alloys, the vacancy formation enthalpies of FeCoCrNi HEA vary in a highly wide range from 0.72 to 2.89 eV for Fe, 0.88–2.90 eV for Co, 0.78–3.09 eV for Cr, and 0.91–2.95 eV for Ni due to high-level site-to-site lattice distortions and compositional complexities. On average, the vacancy formation enthalpies of 1.58 eV for Fe, 1.61 eV for Cr, 1.70 eV for Co and 1.89 eV for Ni are all larger than that(1.41 eV) of pure fcc nickel. This fact implies that the vacancies are much more difficult to be created than in nickel, indicating a reasonable agreement with the recent experimental observation that FeCoCrNi exhibits two orders of amplitudes enhancement of radiation tolerance with the suppression of void formation at elevated temperatures than in pure nickel.Weiliang Chen Xueyong Ding Yuchao Feng Xiongjun Liu Kui Liu Z.P. 5Factors Affecting Cr(Ⅲ) Oxidation by Manganese Oxides显示文摘The high oxidation ability of manganese oxides or soils was used to study effects of pH and coatingon Cr(Ⅲ) oxidation. The results indicated that Cr(Ⅲ) oxidation peaked in pH 4.0-6.5. The amount andrate of Cr(Ⅲ) being oxidized by uncoated δ-MnO2 were larger than those by Fe oxide- or CaCO3-coatedone. Inorganic Cr(Ⅲ) was more easi1y oxidized by MnO2 than organic complex Cr(Ⅲ) due to differentsurface affinities. 18The global registry of COVID-19 clinical trials: indicating the design of traditional Chinese medicine clinical trials显示文摘Objective:To analyze the registration information of Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)related clinical trials from all the clinical trial registry accepted by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors(ICMJE).Methods:All the database of ICMJE-accepted clinical trial registry platform were searched for COVID-19 related clinical trials that registered from December 8,2019 to February 19,2020.Results:All the database totally contained data of 209 COVID-19 related clinical trials,including 66(31.6%)traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)related studies and 143(68.4%)non-TCM related studies.176(84.2%)clinical trials were registered in ChiCTR,as 33(15.8%)were registered in ClinicalTrials.gov.There were 152(72.7%)intervention trials,including 9(4.3%in total)preventive trials,136(65.1%in total)therapeutic trials and 7(3.3%in total)convalescent trials.Conclusion:At the present stage,clinical studies are still aiming at exploring the effective treatment of COVID-19,and the existing treatments need more high-quality clinical evidence supporting.Traditional Chinese medicine may have played an important role in all stages of the epidemic preventing and control,and the enthusiasm of carrying out scientific research has also been greatly improved.The relevant policies of clinical trial registration should be popularized among researchers,including traditional Chinese medicine researchers.And the methodological quality of clinical trials’design urges improving.Xuxu Wei Mengzhu Zhao Chen Zhao Xiaoyu Zhang Ruijin Qiu Yiyi Lin Yang Sun Manke Guan Hongcai Shang 2020TMR Modern Herbal Medicine2020,3,3:1
19Reasonable location of stopping line in close‑distance underlying coal seam and partition support of large cross‑section roadway显示文摘Close-distance coal seams are widely distributed over China,and the coal pillars left by the overlying coal seams afect the retracement channel of the underlying coal seam in the stopping stage.Based on the engineering background of close-distance seam mining in a coal mine,the reasonable position of the underlying coal seam's stopping line and the support method of the large section roadway during stopping are investigated using feld measurements,similar simulation experiments,and numerical simulations.There are three types of location relationships between the stopping line of the underlying coal seam and the stopping line of the overlying coal seam:'externally staggered with the upper stopping line'(ESUL,stops mining under the overlying goaf),'overlapped with upper stopping line'(OUL),and'internally staggered with the upper stopping line'(ISUL,ISUL-SD for shorter internal staggered distances,ISUL-LD for longer ones).There are diferent stress arch structures in the overlying strata of the above three positions,and the stress arch evolution process exists in the process of ESUL→OUL→ISUL-SD→ISUL-LD:a front and rear double stress arch structure→the front arch gradually decreases→the front arch dies out,and the double arch synthesizes the single arch→the single-arch range expands→the nested double arch.The relationship between the stress arch structure and the position of the stopping line is evaluated as follows:(1)ESUL:the stress concentration in the roof plate of the retracement channel of the underlying coal seam is the highest,because the overburden block of the extensive collapse zone acts directly on the roof plate of the retracement channel,resulting in relative difculties in roof support.(2)OUL:although the retracement channel roof pressure is minimal,the overlying rock structure has the potential for rotation or slippage instability.(3)ISUL-SD:the pressure on the roof of the retracement channel is small and the overburden structure is stable,which is conducive to the safe retraction of the support and not limited by the width of the end-mining coal pillar.(4)ISUL-LD:it is basically the same as the condition of stopping under the non-goaf;however,it has a limitation on the width of the end-mining coal pillar.The location of the stopping line is selected as ISUL-SD,and the retraction process of the self-excavating retraction channel was adopted.A partition asymmetric support scheme which is proven by feld practice is proposed,through a comprehensive analysis of the pre-stress feld simulation of the support scheme,based on the diferent control requirements of the roof above the support and the roof of the retracement channel in the stopping area.This method realizes safe and smooth withdrawal of the support.Dongdong Chen Yiyi Wu Shengrong Xie Fangfang Guo Fulian He Ruipeng Liu 2022International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,4:1
