2Carbon-based perovskite solar cells: From single-junction to modules显示文摘Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted more and more attention in the scientific community due to their high performance and simple fabrication process.In the past few years,emerging technologies have made manufacturing large-scale PSC modules possible.However,stability and fabrication issues still limit the modularization and commercialization of PSCs.Carbon materials have been widely used in PSCs to overcome these challenges due to their excellent optical,electrical,and mechanical properties.In addition,the hydrophobic properties of certain carbon materials are highly effective at protecting the perovskite film from moisture and improving the stability of PSCs.All these superior properties have made carbon one of the most promising materials to fabricate future highperformance PSC modules with long service lifetimes.In this review,recent developments of carbon-based materials in different layers of single-junction PSCs will first be discussed,with an emphasis on functionalities related to PSCs’stability and modularization.Then,current improvements and future discussions in the manufacturing of monolithic PSC modules will be reviewed in detail.Rui He Xiaozhou Huang Mason Chee Feng Hao Pei Dong 2019Carbon Energy2019,1,1:6

43D printing of Mg-substituted wollastonite reinforcing diopside porous bioceramics with enhanced mechanical and biological performances显示文摘Mechanical strength and its long-term stability of bioceramic scaffolds is still a problem to treat the osteonecrosis of the femoral head.Considering the long-term stability of diopside(DIO)ceramic but poor mechanical strength,we developed the DIO-based porous bioceramic composites via dilute magnesium substituted wollastonite reinforcing and three-dimensional(3D)printing.The experimental results showed that the secondary phase(i.e.10%magnesium substituting calcium silicate;CSM10)could readily improve the sintering property of the bioceramic composites(DIO/CSM10-x,x=0-30)with increasing the CSM10 content from 0%to 30%,and the presence of the CSM10 also improved the biomimetic apatite mineralization ability in the pore struts of the scaffolds.Furthermore,the flexible strength(12.5 -30 MPa)and compressive strength(14-37 MPa)of the 3D printed porous bioceramics remarkably increased with increasing CSM10 content,and the compressive strength of DIO/CSM10-30 showed a limited decay(from 37 MPa to 29 MPa)in the Tris buffer solution for a long time stage(8 weeks).These findings suggest that the new CSM10-reinforced diopside porous constructs possess excellent mechanical properties and can potentially be used to the clinic,especially for the treatment of osteonecrosis of the femoral head work as a bioceramic rod.Dongshuang He Chen Zhuang Sanzhong Xu Xiurong Ke Xianyan Yang Lei Zhang Guojing Yang Xiaoyi Chen Xiaozhou Mou An Liu Zhongru Gou 2016Bioactive Materials2016,1,1:5
5The Abnormal High Expression of B Cell Activating Factor Belonging to TNF Superfamily (BAFF) and Its Potential Role in Kidney Transplant Recipients显示文摘B cell activating factor belonging to TNF superfamily (BAFF) is a critical regulator of B cell maturation and survival. In this present study, the expression characteristic of BAFF in kidney transplantation recipients was investigated, its potential significance was analyzed and peripheral blood of follow-up kidney transplant recipients was studied. Flow cytometric assay results showed that, cell-surface BAFF was significantly highly expressed on peripheral CD3+ T lymphocytes in ≥ 5 yrs group of kidney transplant recipients, compared with other groups (p < 0.05). BAFF expression could be found on CD4+ T cells and CD8+ T cells. The BAFF mRNA levels in peripheral mononuclear cells were consistent with the protein levels. However, serum soluble BAFF levels were inter-individually different in each group. Stratified by renal function, it was found that cell-surface BAFF levels were significantly higher in those with abnormal renal function, compared with recipients with normal renal function (p < 0.05). ELISA assay results showed that expression levels of cell surface BAFF were significantly correlated with anti-HLA Ⅰ & Ⅱ antibodies. 7Frameless stereotactic aspiration and thrombolysis of moderate thalamic hemorrhage显示文摘To the editor:Frameless stereotactic aspiration and thrombolysis (FSAT) is appropriate for treating deep-seated brain hematoma such as thalamic haemorrhage (TH).1 We performed FSAT to determine the efficacy and safety of this method for treating moderate TH (hematoma volume of 10-30 ml). 13Survival after radical cystectomy for bladder cancer:Multicenter comparison between minimally invasive and open approaches显示文摘Objective:To investigate oncological outcomes in patients with bladder cancer who underwent minimally invasive radical cystectomy(MIRC)or open radical cystectomy(ORC).Methods:We identified patients with bladder cancer who underwent radical cystectomy(RC)in 13 centers of the Chinese Bladder Cancer Consortium(CBCC).Perioperative outcomes were compared between MIRC and ORC.The influence of surgical approaches on overall survival(OS)and cancer-specific survival(CSS)in the entire study group and subgroups classified according to pathologic stage or lymph node(LN)status was assessed with the log-rank test.Multivariable Cox proportional hazard models were used to evaluate the association among OS,CSS and risk factors of interest.Results:Of 2098 patients who underwent RC,1243 patients underwent MIRC(1087 laparoscopic RC and 156 robotic-assisted RC,respectively),while 855 patients underwent ORC.No significant differences were noted in positive surgical margin rate and 90-day postoperative mortality rate.MIRC was associated with less estimated blood loss,more LN yield,higher rate of neobladder diversion,longer operative time,and longer length of hospital stay.There was no significant difference in OS and CSS according to surgical approaches(pZ0.653,and 0.816,respectively).Subgroup analysis revealed that OS and CSS were not significantly different regardless of the status of extravesical involvement or LN involvement.Multivariable Cox regression analyses showed that the surgical approach was not a significant predictor of OS and CSS.Conclusions:Our study showed that MIRC was comparable to conventional ORC in terms of OS and CSS.Weibin Xie Junming Bi Qiang Wei Ping Han Dongkui Song Lei Shi Dingwei Ye Yijun Shen Xin Gou Weiyang He Shaogang Wang Zheng Liu Jinhai Fan Kaijie Wu Zhiwen Chen Xiaozhou Zhou Chuize Kong Yang Liu Chunxiao Liu Abai Xu Baiye Jin Guanghou Fu Wei Xue Haige Chen Tiejun Pan Zhong Tu Tianxin Lin Jian Huang 2020Asian Journal of Urology2020,7,3:1
14Genomic Surveillance for SARS-CoV-2—China,September 26,2022 to January 29,2023显示文摘Introduction:The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has generated 2,431 variants over the course of its global transmission over the past 3 years.To better evaluate the genomic variation of SARS-CoV-2 before and after the optimization of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)prevention and control strategies,we analyzed the genetic evolution branch composition and genomic variation of SARS-CoV-2 in both domestic and imported cases in China(the data from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan,China were not included)from September 26,2022 to January 29,2023.Methods:Analysis of the number of genome sequences,sampling time,dynamic changes of evolutionary branches,origin,and clinical typing of SARS-CoV-2 variants submitted by 31 provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps(XPCC)was conducted to assess the accuracy and timeliness of SARS-CoV-2 variant surveillance.Results:From September 26,2022 to January 29,2023,20,013 valid genome sequences of domestic cases were reported in China,with 72 evolutionary branches.Additionally,1,978 valid genome sequences of imported cases were reported,with 169 evolutionary branches.The prevalence of the Omicron variants of SARS-CoV-2 in both domestic and imported cases was consistent with that of international epidemic variants.Conclusions:This study provides an overview of the prevalence of Omicron variants of SARS-CoV-2 in China.After optimizing COVID-19 prevention and control strategies,no novel Omicron variants of SARSCoV-2 with altered biological characteristics or public health significance have been identified since December 1,2022.Shiwen Wang Peihua Niu Qiudong Su Xiaozhou He Jing Tang Ji Wang Yenan Feng Cao Chen Xiang Zhao Zhixiao Chen Wenling Wang Zeyuan Yin Yuchao Wu Changcheng Wu Lili Li Aili Cui Yan Zhang Caiyun Long Xiaoyu Yang Zhongxian Zhang Hong Bo Wenbo Xu SARS-CoV-Genome Working Group 2023China CDC weekly2023,5,7:1
15Space-time correlations in turbulent Rayleigh–Bnard convection显示文摘The recent development of the elliptic model(He,et al. Phy. Rev. E, 2006), which predicts that the space-time correlation function Cu(r, τ) in a turbulent flow has a scaling form Cu(rE, 0) with rEbeing a combined space-time separation involving spatial separation r and time delay τ, has stimulated considerable experimental efforts aimed at testing the model in various turbulent flows. In this paper, we review some recent experimental investigations of the space-time correlation function in turbulent Rayleigh–B′enard convection. The experiments conducted at different representative locations in the convection cell confirmed the predictions of the elliptic model for the velocity field and passive scalar field, such as local temperature and shadowgraph images.The understanding of the functional form of Cu(r, τ) has a wide variety of applications in the analysis of experimental and numerical data and in the study of the statistical properties of small-scale turbulence. 16Vertical multiple-layer structure of temperature and turbulent diffusivity in the South China Sea显示文摘We report field measurements of vertical profiles of the turbulent diffusivity and temperature at different stations in the South China Sea(SCS).Our study shows that the measured turbulent diffusivity follows a power-law distribution with a varying exponent in water layers.Similar multiple-layer scaling regimes were also observed from the temperature fluctuations.Combining turbulent diffusivity and temperature fluctuations,the vertical structure of temperature was revealed.Furthermore,we discussed the temperature profiles in each layer.A constant function of a dimensionless temperature profile was found in water layers that have identical turbulence conditions.Our results reveal the multiple-layer structure of temperature in the SCS.This study contributes to the understanding of the vertical structure of multiple layers in the SCS and provides clues for exploring the physical mechanism for maintaining the temperature structure.Xin He Changrong Liang Yang Yang Guiying Chen Xiaodong Shang Xiaozhou He Penger Tong 2022Acta Oceanologica Sinica2022,41,10:1
17Cryptosporidiosis threat under climate change in China:prediction and validation of habitat suitability and outbreak risk for human-derived Cryptosporidium based on ecological niche models显示文摘Background Cryptosporidiosis is a zoonotic intestinal infectious disease caused by Cryptosporidium spp.,and its transmission is highly influenced by climate factors.In the present study,the potential spatial distribution of Cryptosporidium in China was predicted based on ecological niche models for cryptosporidiosis epidemic risk warning and prevention and control.Methods The applicability of existing Cryptosporidium presence points in ENM analysis was investigated based on data from monitoring sites in 2011–2019.Cryptosporidium occurrence data for China and neighboring countries were extracted and used to construct the ENMs,namely Maxent,Bioclim,Domain,and Garp.Models were evaluated based on Receiver Operating Characteristic curve,Kappa,and True Skill Statistic coefficients.The best model was constructed using Cryptosporidium data and climate variables during 1986‒2010,and used to analyze the effects of climate factors on Cryptosporidium distribution.The climate variables for the period 2011‒2100 were projected to the simulation results to predict the ecological adaptability and potential distribution of Cryptosporidium in future in China.Results The Maxent model(AUC=0.95,maximum Kappa=0.91,maximum TSS=1.00)fit better than the other three models and was thus considered the best ENM for predicting Cryptosporidium habitat suitability.The major suitable habitats for human-derived Cryptosporidium in China were located in some high-population density areas,especially in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River,the lower reaches of the Yellow River,and the Huai and the Pearl River Basins(cloglog value of habitat suitability>0.9).Under future climate change,non-suitable habitats for Cryptosporidium will shrink,while highly suitable habitats will expand significantly(χ^(2)=76.641,P<0.01;χ^(2)=86.836,P<0.01),and the main changes will likely be concentrated in the northeastern,southwestern,and northwestern regions.Conclusions The Maxent model is applicable in prediction of Cryptosporidium habitat suitability and can achieve excellent simulation results.These results suggest a current high risk of transmission and significant pressure for cryptosporidiosis prevention and control in China.Against a future climate change background,Cryptosporidium may gain more suitable habitats within China.Constructing a national surveillance network could facilitate further elucidation of the epidemiological trends and transmission patterns of cryptosporidiosis,and mitigate the associated epidemic and outbreak risks.Xu Wang Yanyan Jiang Weiping Wu Xiaozhou He Zhenghuan Wang Yayi Guan Ning Xu Qilu Chen Yujuan Shen Jianping Cao 2023Infectious Diseases of Poverty2023,12,2:0
